适用于经受重要温度变化的环境中的输送辊组件可包括具有金属端盖的陶瓷阀芯。通常,陶瓷阀芯包含熔融二氧化硅。端盖允许容易地安装到轴承或驱动轮上。例如,在玻璃钢化应用中,一系列陶瓷阀芯支撑玻璃片,并且端盖因此允许机械联接到驱动机构。端盖应牢固地附着到阀芯,从而允许阀芯以期望的速度旋转。

EP-B1-1853866通过提供一种包括具有公差环的端盖的输送辊组件来解决这些问题,该公差环插置在端盖和陶瓷阀芯的端部之间,并且在广泛范围的应用温度下将端盖牢固且居中地固定到陶瓷阀芯。由于传递的扭矩值可在高温下随时间而减小,这些端盖提供范围高达数百N.m.的传递扭矩并且抵抗临时过热。然而,这些端盖系统在大部分时间都是尺寸过大的。
