Abstract

本申请提供了一种信号发生器,包括驱动电路、直波导以及与所述直波导耦合的微环波导。其中,所述微环波导上设置有N个电极,N为整数且N≥1。所述驱动电路将接收到的N比特的数字信号转换为N个电压信号,并将N个电压信号一一对应施加在N个电极上,以使所述微环波导上被所述N个电极覆盖的区域产生PAM信号。因为信号发生器利用覆盖在微环波导上的电极产生PAM信号,而无需使用DAC,所以,能够降低成本。
