Detailed Description
To make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more clear, embodiments of the present application will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, a schematic diagram of a mobile communication system according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. The Mobile Communication system may be a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, an LTE-a system, or a 5th Generation Mobile Communication (5G) system, which is not limited in The embodiments of The present application. The mobile communication system may include: a terminal 11, an access network device 12 and a core network device 13.
The terminal 11 may be a mobile terminal such as a mobile telephone (or "cellular" telephone) and a computer having a mobile terminal, such as a portable, pocket, hand-held, computer-included or vehicle-mounted mobile device. For example, a Subscriber Unit (Subscriber Unit), a Subscriber Station (Subscriber Station), a Mobile Station (Mobile), a Remote Station (Remote Station), an Access Point (Access Point), a Remote Terminal (Remote Terminal), an Access Terminal (Access Terminal), a User Equipment (User Terminal), a User Agent (User Agent), a Terminal (User Device), or a User Terminal (UE). Optionally, the terminal device 11 may also be a Relay (Relay) device, which is not limited in this embodiment.
The access network device 12 may be a base station, which may be an evolved Node B (eNB) or an e-NodeB in LTE, or a base station adopting a centralized distributed architecture in a 5G system. Access network device 12 may communicate with terminal 11 based on a pre-agreed communication protocol. The pre-agreed communication protocol may be an LTE protocol or an NR protocol. When the communication protocol is an LTE protocol, the access network device is a base station based on the LTE protocol, and when the communication protocol is a New Radio (NR) protocol, the access network device is a base station based on an NR protocol.
The core network device 13 is located in a network subsystem, and is configured to implement functions such as access control, mobility management, attach/detach, and the like. The core network device 13 may be a Mobility Management Entity (MME) in LTE.
Optionally, the access network device 12 and the at least one terminal 11 establish a wireless connection through a wireless air interface. Optionally, the wireless air interface may be a wireless air interface based on a 4G standard (LTE system), or may be a wireless air interface based on a 5G standard, for example, the wireless air interface is a New Radio (NR); alternatively, the wireless air interface may be a wireless air interface based on a 5G next generation mobile communication network technology standard. Optionally, a wired connection is established between access network device 12 and core network device 13. The wired connection may be established based on microwave, optical cable, telephone line, etc.
In the related art, the capability information reported by the terminal to the access network device in the attachment process is more, for example, the terminal needs to report the system supported by the terminal and all information contained in the system to the access network device in the roaming process, when the transmission resource between the terminal and the access network device is insufficient, part of important information may not be reported to the access network device, and the terminal may not complete the attachment process.
Based on this, the embodiment of the present application provides an information reporting method, in an attachment process of a terminal, a terminal determines an intersection part of a wireless capability of an access network device and a wireless capability of the access network device, and only reports the intersection part in a subsequent capability reporting process, on one hand, the intersection part is important information required in the attachment process and the subsequent communication process, and a success rate of the terminal in completing the attachment process can be improved; on the other hand, the bytes occupied by the intersection part are smaller than the bytes occupied by the information reported by the terminal to the access network equipment in the related technology, so that transmission resources are saved.
Referring to fig. 2, a flowchart of an information reporting method according to an embodiment of the present application is shown, where the method may be applied to a terminal in the implementation environment shown in fig. 1, and the method may include:
step 201, receiving a system message broadcasted by an access network device.
The system message is used for the terminal to properly access and make network selection, and to fully utilize various services provided by the network, and generally includes wireless network parameters, such as network identification parameters, cell selection parameters, system function parameters and network function messages, which are main parameters on the air interface. The system message may be a Master Information Block (MIB) message.
The access network equipment broadcasts a system message on a Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH) at preset intervals, and the terminal in the power-on state receives the system message Broadcast by the access network equipment.
Step 202, determining a first wireless capability supported by the access network device according to the system message.
The first wireless capabilities supported by the access network device include a combination of one or more of: the communication frequency band supported by the access network equipment, the carrier aggregation mode supported by the access network equipment and the modulation mode supported by the access network equipment.
The communication frequency band supported by the access network device refers to a frequency range of electromagnetic waves received or transmitted by the access network device. In order to make reasonable use of the spectrum and save the spectrum resource as much as possible, the international telecommunication union radio committee (ITU-R) has issued international radio regulations, which specify the frequency range of the radio frequency band used by various services and communication systems. The communication frequency bands related to mobile communication systems of different countries or regions and different standards may be the same or different.
Carrier aggregation is a technique for increasing transmission bandwidth, and can aggregate multiple component carriers to increase transmission bandwidth, thereby improving uplink and downlink transmission efficiency. Since operators in different regions may have different spectrum allocations, there are also different frequency band combination requirements for carrier aggregation. For example, operator a supports aggregation of band 1 with band 2, and operator B supports aggregation of bands 3 and 4. In this embodiment of the present application, the carrier aggregation mode supported by the access network device refers to a frequency band in which the access network device can perform carrier aggregation.
The modulation mode supported by the access network equipment is a means for providing the data rate with efficient resources. The modulation modes are different. The number of information bits transmitted by one modulation symbol is not the same. The modulation modes supported by the access network equipment may include one or more of the following combinations: 8Phase Shift Keying (8 PSK), 16Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (16 QAM), 64 QAM.
Alternatively, step 202 may be implemented as:
step 202a, acquiring a target Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) identifier contained in the system message;
step 202b, searching a target wireless capability corresponding to the target PLMN identity in a local database.
Step 202c, determining the searched target wireless capability as the first wireless capability supported by the access network device.
The PLMN identification is used to uniquely identify a public land mobile network, which refers to a network established and operated by a government or its approved operator for the purpose of providing land mobile communication services to the public. The PLMN identity is composed of a Mobile Country Code (MCC) and a Mobile Network Code (MNC). The MCC is uniformly distributed and managed by the national power federation and is used for uniquely identifying the mobile user or the country to which the system belongs; the MNC is used to uniquely identify the mobile network to which the access network device belongs, and different mobile operators have different MNCs correspondingly.
The local database contains the correspondence between the PLMN identity and the radio capabilities. And the terminal searches the wireless capability corresponding to the PLMN identification carried in the system message in the corresponding relation to be used as the first wireless capability supported by the access network equipment.
Step 203, determining a radio capability intersection between the second radio capability supported by the terminal and the first radio capability.
The second wireless capabilities supported by the terminal include a combination of one or more of: communication frequency bands supported by the terminal, carrier aggregation modes supported by the terminal, and modulation modes supported by the terminal. The radio capability intersection refers to an intersection between the second radio capability supported by the terminal and the first radio capability supported by the access network device, that is, the radio capability supported by both the access network device and the terminal. The wireless capability intersection comprises a combination of one or more of: communication frequency band, carrier aggregation mode, modulation mode.
When the radio capability intersection comprises a communication frequency band, the access network equipment and the communication frequency band supported by the terminal have an overlapped part. For example, the communication frequency band supported by the access network device is 890 to 909Mhz, and the communication frequency band supported by the terminal is 900 to 920Mhz, the overlapping portion is 900 to 909 Mhz. When the radio capability intersection comprises a carrier aggregation mode, the carrier aggregation modes supported by the access network device and the terminal have an overlapped part, wherein the overlapped part refers to a plurality of frequency bands supported by the access network device for carrying out carrier aggregation, and the terminal also supports a plurality of aggregations for carrying out carrier aggregation. For example, if the access network device supports aggregation of carrier 1, carrier 2, carrier 3, carrier 4, and carrier 5, and the mobile terminal supports aggregation of carrier 4, carrier 5, and carrier 6, the overlapping portion refers to aggregation of carrier 4 and incumbent 5. When the radio capability intersection comprises a modulation mode, the modulation modes adopted by the access network equipment and the terminal have an overlapped part. For example, when the modulation scheme supported by the access network device is 64QAM, and the modulation scheme supported by the mobile terminal is 64QAM, the overlapping portion refers to 64 QAM.
And step 204, if the radio capacity intersection is not empty, reporting the radio capacity information containing the radio capacity intersection to the access network equipment.
The radio capability information carries a radio capability intersection between a first radio capability of the access network device and a second radio access capability of the terminal. The access network equipment stores the wireless capability information and sends the wireless capability information to the MME, so that the MME can allow the terminal to register according to the wireless capability information to complete the attachment process.
And if the radio capacity intersection is empty, reporting radio capacity information containing the second radio capacity to the access network equipment. The access network equipment stores the wireless capability information and sends the wireless capability information to the MME, so that the MME can judge whether to allow the terminal to register according to the wireless capability information.
In a specific example, refer to fig. 3 in combination, which shows a schematic diagram of a message sending method according to an embodiment of the present application. The mobile phone searches for a suitable roaming cell, reads MCC/MNC, then inquires whether a commercial frequency band and a CA combination corresponding to the MCC are stored in the self-supported capability (namely a database), if so, the mobile phone reports the terminal capabilities of the frequency band, the CA and the like in the corresponding DB to the base station, and if not, the mobile phone reports all the supported frequency bands and CA combinations.
To sum up, in the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the present application, in the attachment process of the terminal, the terminal determines the intersection part of the wireless capability of the access network device and the wireless capability of the access network device, and only reports the intersection part in the subsequent capability reporting process, on one hand, the intersection part is important information required in the attachment process and the subsequent communication process, and therefore the success rate of the terminal in completing the attachment process can be improved; on the other hand, the bytes occupied by the intersection part are smaller than the bytes occupied by the information reported by the terminal to the access network equipment in the related technology, so that transmission resources are saved.
In the above embodiment, the local database stores the corresponding relationship between the PLMN identifier and the wireless capability, and since the corresponding relationship may change, the terminal needs to update the data stored in the local database in time, so that the terminal can accurately determine the intersection part of the wireless capability supported by different access network devices and the wireless capability supported by the terminal. The update process is as follows:
step 301, sending a data update request to the server according to the data version of the local database.
The data update request is used for requesting to update the local database. The data update request carries the identifier of the terminal and the version number of the data version of the local database.
And the server is used for detecting whether the local database needs to be updated according to the data version. Optionally, the server detects whether the version number sent by the terminal is the same as the version number stored in the server, if so, determines that the data version of the local database is the latest version and does not need to be updated, and if not, determines that the data version of the local database needs to be updated. And after determining that the data version of the local database needs to be updated, the server sends the updated data to the terminal.
Step 302, receiving the update data sent by the server.
In a possible implementation manner, the update data refers to all data corresponding to the version number stored by the server. In another possible implementation, the update data refers to the complement of the data of the local database with respect to the data stored by the server.
And step 303, updating the local database according to the updating data.
By combining the two possible implementation manners, if the update data is all data corresponding to the version number stored in the server, the terminal may delete the data in the local database and store all data corresponding to the version number stored in the server, so as to complete the update. If the update data is a complement of the data of the local database with respect to the data stored by the server, the terminal may store the update data to complete the update.
In summary, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the present application, by updating the correspondence between the PLMN identifier and the wireless capability stored in the local database of the terminal in time, the terminal can accurately determine the intersection part between the wireless capability supported by different access network devices and the wireless capability supported by the terminal, and the accuracy of information reporting is improved.
With reference to fig. 4, a flowchart of an information reporting method according to another embodiment of the present application is shown. The method can be applied in a terminal implementing the environment shown in fig. 1. The method comprises the following steps:
step 401, receiving a system message broadcasted by an access network device.
Step 402, acquiring a target PLMN identity contained in the system message.
And step 403, determining whether the terminal is in a roaming state according to the target PLMN identification.
The roaming state is a state in which the area where the terminal is currently located is different from the registration area of the terminal. Optionally, the terminal detects whether the PLMN identifier of the user identity card installed in the terminal is the same as the target PLMN identifier, so as to detect whether the terminal is in a roaming state. If the PLMN identification of the SIM card installed by the terminal is the same as the target PLMN identification, determining that the terminal is not in a roaming state; and if the PLMN identification of the SIM card installed by the terminal is different from the target PLMN identification, determining that the terminal is in a roaming state.
If the terminal is in the roaming state, step 404 to step 407 may be executed, or step 404 to step 406 and step 408 may be executed. If the terminal is in the non-roaming state, step 409 and step 410 are executed.
Step 404, if the terminal is in the roaming state, searching the target wireless capability corresponding to the target PLMN identity in the local database.
Because the terminal may not need to report the information in the non-roaming state, or the information reporting is completed once, the step that the intersection of the access network equipment and the wireless capability of the terminal is determined to be unnecessary is determined, and the terminal does not execute the step at the moment, so that the processing resource of the terminal can be saved, and the attachment process of the terminal cannot be influenced.
Step 405, determining the found target wireless capability as the first wireless capability supported by the access network device.
At step 406, the radio capability intersection between the second radio capability supported by the terminal and the first radio capability is determined.
Step 407, if the radio capability intersection is not empty, reporting the radio capability information including the radio capability intersection to the access network device.
The access network equipment is used for sending the wireless capability information to the MME.
And step 408, if the radio capability intersection is empty, reporting radio capability information containing the second radio capability to the access network equipment.
And step 409, if the terminal is in a non-roaming state, acquiring a third wireless capability stored locally.
The third wireless capability is an intersection of the second wireless capability and a wireless capability supported by the non-roaming local access network device. When the terminal is in a non-roaming state, the terminal has finished reporting information to the access network device in the previous attachment process, and stores the reported information (i.e. the wireless capability information containing the third wireless capability) to the local, and when the information needs to be reported again later, the locally stored information is reported again, so that the step of repeatedly determining the intersection of the wireless capability of the access network device in the non-roaming state and the wireless capability supported by the terminal can be avoided, and the processing resource of the terminal is saved.
Step 410, reporting the wireless capability information containing the third wireless capability to the access network device.
The non-roaming access network device is configured to send radio capability information including the third radio capability to the MME.
In summary, according to the technical solution provided in the embodiment of the present application, the subsequent step of determining the intersection of the wireless capabilities is performed by downloading when the terminal is in the roaming state, and the step is not performed when the terminal is in the non-roaming state, so that the step of determining the intersection of the wireless capabilities can be avoided being performed under an unnecessary condition, and processing resources of the terminal can be saved. In addition, the intersection of the wireless capability of the non-roaming access network equipment and the wireless capability supported by the terminal is directly acquired when the terminal is in the non-roaming state, and the intersection does not need to be determined again, so that the processing resource of the terminal is saved.
