Abstract

本发明提供一种汽化装置的加热器及所述汽化装置。加热器包括流体储存器及多孔渗透性的加热元件,多孔渗透性的加热元件由导电材料制成且位于流体储存器内。流体储存器及位于流体储存器内的加热元件界定出用以捕获及保持从汽化装置中的喷射头喷射的流体的体积。加热元件将流体储存器中的流体汽化。

Description

汽化装置的加热器及所述汽化装置
技术领域
流体喷射装置的应用之一是将溶液射出到其中可执行次级功能的另一装置上。常见的次级功能是使用加热器将溶液汽化,以使得溶液的成分可被汽化,从而将溶液作为气态物质进行递送。此种技术的应用包括但不限于:电子烟的计量与汽化装置、蒸汽疗法、气态药物递送、微型实验室的汽相反应等。与此类装置相关联的问题是流体的高效汽化。本文献公开改善型加热器及改善汽化装置的加热器的汽化效率的方法。
背景技术
当将流体汽化时,期望的是使100%的流体汽化以便不会从汽化装置排出液体。传统的加热器需要改善之处在于,总是有一些液体从汽化装置排出或以其他方式留在汽化装置内。倘若有流体留在汽化装置中,则此液体可能会暴露在过高的温度中,这会引起不良的吸烟效果或使得液体因暴露在高温中而发生不良的化学反应。
加热器的迅速加热对于确保将被输送到加热器的所有液体汽化来说也是必要的。为避免在来自汽化装置的蒸汽流中夹带有液滴,将流体完全汽化是重要的。在一些应用中,有液体排出不仅是不可取的,而且对于用户来说可能是有害的。为避免从汽化装置排出液滴,喷射到加热器的流体流必须由加热器高效地捕获且以与流体到达加热器的速率大约相同的速率被完全汽化。
发明内容
鉴于上述内容,本发明的实施例提供一种加热器配置,其有利地避免与传统加热器相关联的问题并且有效地围阻所射出的流体并在所需时间量内及在所需的温度水平(temperature levels)下将所有所围阻的流体汽化。
在一个方面中,本发明提供一种用于汽化装置的加热器,所述加热器包括流体储存器及多孔渗透性的加热元件,所述多孔渗透性的加热元件由导电材料制成且位于所述流体储存器内。所述流体储存器及所述加热元件界定用以捕获及保持从所述汽化装置中的喷射头喷射的流体的体积。所述加热元件将所述流体储存器中的流体汽化。
在一些实施例中,所述流体储存器是由不导电的材料(例如陶瓷)制成。
在另一实施例中,所述加热元件是网状物。
在又一实施例中,所述加热元件是由交织丝(interwoven wire)制成,且由堪塔尔铁铬铝电阻丝(kanthal)、或镍铬合金(nichrome)、或不锈钢、或其组合制成。
在另一方面中,本发明提供一种汽化装置,其包括:壳体;嘴部,附装到所述壳体;以及上述的加热器。所述加热器是相邻于所述嘴部而设置,以将从所述喷射头喷射到所述加热器上的流体汽化。

具体实施方式
本发明涉及如图1及图2中所示的汽化装置10及如图3至图6中所示的用于汽化装置10的加热器。此类装置10可用于其中如下文更详细所述将液体喷射到加热器上以提供蒸汽流的各种各样的应用。此类装置10通常是手持式装置,例如电子烟,其具有用于吸入由装置10所产生的蒸汽的嘴部12。嘴部12包括用于使蒸汽从装置10流出的导管14。装置10的主要组件包括壳体16、可拆卸的盒盖18、可拆卸的流体供应盒20、与流体供应盒20相关联的喷射头22、及用于将从喷射头22喷射的流体汽化的加热器24、以及为加热器24提供电连接的保持座(holder)26。与汽化装置10相关联的其他组件包括可再充电的电池28、电路板30及汽化驱动器卡32。图2中示出汽化装置的被放大的一部分。
汽化装置10的嘴部12以及壳体16可由各种各样的材料制成,包括塑料、金属、玻璃、陶瓷等,前提是所述材料与待由装置10喷射及汽化的流体兼容。特别适合的材料可选自聚氯乙烯、高密度聚乙烯、聚碳酸酯、不锈钢、手术钢、镀镍钢等。与流体及蒸汽接触的所有部件(包括嘴部12及壳体16)均可由塑料制成。导管14可由例如不锈钢等金属或耐受由装置产生的热量及蒸汽的其他材料制成。
如图1中所示,壳体16可包括电路板30及汽化驱动器卡32,以为加热器24(以下更详细地阐述)及喷射头22提供逻辑电路系统。可再充电的电池28也可容置在壳体16中。在另一实施例中,可拆卸的不可再充电的电池可容置在壳体中。可使用电触点(例如通用串行总线(USB)(图中未示出))来对电池28进行再充电以及为喷射头22及加热器24改变程序设定。微流体喷射头22与流体供应盒20进行流体流动连通,流体供应盒20提供待由喷射头22喷射的流体。
可包括进气流量控制装置,以对喷射头22提供背压控制。进气流量控制装置可包括阻尼滑块(damper slide)34及进气孔36,进气孔36供空气抽吸到相邻于加热器24及喷射头22的导管14中,以便可避免喷射头22上出现过大负压。
汽化装置10的重要组件是加热器24,在图3至图6中有更详细的说明。加热器24包括流体储存器40及位于流体储存器40内的导电多孔渗透性的加热元件42。电极44连接到加热元件42。
流体储存器40由不透流体的绝缘材料(优选地,陶瓷)制成。流体储存器40被配置成提供具有适当体积的储存器,以容纳所需量的待汽化流体46及加热元件42(图6)。对于吸雾(vaping)应用,流体储存器40可取地被配置成从约10μl至约40μl且优选地约12μl的流体体积。
加热元件42是多孔且渗透性的,以具有互通的间隙空间,从而以海绵的性质(nature of sponge)保持流体46。加热元件42由具有高导热性的导电材料制成,以在对其施加电能之后变热。加热元件42可为网状物,且可由交织丝制成,所述交织丝由堪塔尔铁铬铝电阻丝、镍铬合金、不锈钢等制成。加热元件42较佳地被配置成具有的孔径及渗透率能使以下优化:能以流体对加热元件42的润湿(wetting)、热传递、及在加热器24的操作期间挥发流体的逃逸。可基于给定孔隙度及所需流体体积来计算可用于接收待汽化流体的加热元件42的体积。较佳地,加热元件42具有通过以下而计算出的表面积:界定在规定时间内将所需体积的流体汽化所需的热通量,并将通量密度限制为所需量,以指示加热元件42的所需厚度。
所述的加热器24的优点为,从喷射头22喷射的实质上所有流体46均被捕获在流体储存器40中并与加热元件42的间隙空间紧密接触(intimate contact),且以使得流体46汽化的方式被加热。
在加热器24的操作中,在流体46被射出到流体储存器40中之前使加热器24可取地斜升到低的预热温度,例如100摄氏度至150摄氏度。接着,所需剂量的流体46被射出到流体储存器40中且由加热元件42的间隙空间完全接收。接着,通过电极44以足够高的功率对加热元件42施加电力达仅长至足以将流体46完全汽化的时间周期。接着,可立即切断电力,以避免出现过热状况。
可基于所需的汽化速率来微调加热元件42的质量及厚度,以实现最优的加热器升温与汽化效率。同样,可通过调整加热器的材料厚度、组成及形状等来微调关于对加热器进行驱动的电压/电流要求。
就这一点而言,应了解,加热器24的构造实现高的电效率。由于流体储存器40是非传导性的,因此电力不被用于对流体储存器进行加热。所有的电能均被用于对加热元件42进行加热及对加热元件42内的流体46进行加热。此外,加热元件42与流体46之间的紧密接触使为将流体46汽化而必须将加热元件42加热至的温度降至最低,因此避免所喷射流体不利地发生热降解。
尽管已阐述了特定实施例,然而,申请人或所属领域中的其他技术人员能够想到当前未预见或可能未预见的替代方案、修改形式、变化形式、改善形式、及实质等效形式。因此,所有此类替代方案、修改形式、变化形式、改进形式、及实质等效形式亦包含在本发明的范围内。

Claims (10)

1.一种汽化装置的加热器,其特征在于,包括:
流体储存器;以及
多孔渗透性的加热元件,由导电材料制成且位于所述流体储存器内,
其中所述流体储存器及所述加热元件界定出用以捕获及保持从所述汽化装置中的喷射头喷射的流体的体积,且所述加热元件将所述流体储存器中的所述流体汽化。
2.根据权利要求1所述的加热器,其特征在于,所述流体储存器是由不导电的材料制成。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的加热器,其特征在于,所述流体储存器是由陶瓷制成。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的加热器,其特征在于,所述加热元件是网状物。
5.根据权利要求中1至4任一项所述的加热器,其特征在于,所述加热元件是由交织丝制成。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的加热器,其特征在于,所述加热元件是由堪塔尔铁铬铝电阻丝、或镍铬合金、或不锈钢、或其组合制成。
7.根据权利要求1至6中任一项所述的加热器,其特征在于,包括连接到所述加热元件的电极。
8.一种汽化装置,其特征在于,包括:
壳体;
嘴部,附装到所述壳体;以及
根据权利要求1所述的加热器,
其中所述加热器是相邻于所述嘴部而设置,以将从所述喷射头喷射到所述加热器上的流体汽化。
9.根据权利要求8所述的汽化装置,其特征在于,包括进气流量控制装置,所述进气流量控制装置被配置成通过吸入蒸汽来控制抽吸到所述汽化装置中的空气,所述蒸汽是被汽化的所述流体。
10.根据权利要求8或9所述的汽化装置,其特征在于,所述进气流量控制装置包括阻尼滑块及进气孔,所述进气孔被配置成供空气抽吸到所述喷射头中。
