Description

一种打印头
本发明总的来说涉及打印机,尤其涉及在银行事务中应用的用于打印磁性字符的打印机。
为了字符的鉴别,国际标准ISO 1004-1977规定了磁性油墨打印所用的10个数字符号和4个特殊符号的形状、尺寸和公差。该标准规定了相应于参考字符所允许的各种类型的打印缺陷、公差和偏差。
国际标准ISO 1004-1977规定的字符最初曾被用于银行事务中以便能对银行单据所涉及的数据进行自动化处理(特别是支票付款)。然而,在这个标准中所规定的字符可应用在任何用于数据的自动化处理系统中。
用于将磁性字符打印到随后要通过自动处理系统进行自动化处理的单据上的打印机,必须能够完全按照该标准打印,因为如果没有按照标准打印,那么数据可能不会被自动读取系统读取或可能以一种错误的方式被读取。直到现在,为了按照ISO 1004-1977标准打印磁性字符,在几乎所有的情况中已经采用了带有预制字符的打印头。这种类型打印头的一个典型例子包括菊花形字盘打印机和具有一个在上面刻有阳纹字符的字盘或辊的打印机。通过这种类型的打印机,则相对较容易打印出具有特定形状、尺寸和公差的字符。由于这个原因,所有按照ISO 1004-1977标准工作的磁性油墨打印机器都以这种方法制作而成。
带有预制字符的打印机其缺点在于它们的工作速度低。
带有点阵打印头的打印机使其可能获得明显较高的工作速度,但是直到现在这种打印机还没用于按照ISO 1004标准打印字符的特定领域中,因为现有的打印机不能符合由这种规定所要求的公差。
本发明的主要目的在于提供一种点阵打印头,它能够按照ISO 1004-1977标准、符合规定的字符可重复性能而进行操作。
根据本发明,这个目的可通过一种带有一个导针体的点阵打印头来达到,该导针体包括用于引导打印针一个第一排和一个第二排孔,以及第三排孔,它们以这种方式设置:第一排孔具有相应的排列在第一纵向直线上的圆心,并且沿着所述第一纵向直线彼此相距一个节距的固定距离;第二排孔具有相应的排列在平行于第一纵向直线的第二纵向直线上的圆心,并且沿着所述第二纵向直线彼此相距一个节距的固定距离。每一个第二排孔的圆心设置在一条横向直线上,该横向直线与第一直线相交在第一排两个相邻孔圆心之间的中点上;以及第三排孔包括排列在一条第三纵向直线上至少一个第一对孔和一个第二对孔,其中第三排孔的每一个孔的圆心设置在相应的横向直线上,这些横向直线位于一条通过第一排孔一个圆心的第一横向直线和一条通过第二排孔一个圆心的第二横向直线之间的中线上。
最好,第二排孔所包含的导孔数目要比第一排孔的数目少一个。例如,第一排具有9个孔,每个孔能够容纳一根直径为0.32mm的打印针,此时第二排应具有8个孔。
本发明将参照附图进行详细描述,该附图完全由非限定的例子给出,其中:

参见图1-3,标号10指的是一个具有一个外壳12的点阵打印头,从打印头的前面延伸出一个突起部件14,该突起部件的顶端带有一个用于引导打印针的元件16。打印针被安放在突起部件14之中,并且如图3中18所示在平行于轴线的方向上伸出。
在外壳12中安装有致动装置,已知其自身被电磁控制以引起相应的打印针在伸出位置和缩回位置之间运动。致动装置与一个连接器20相连,借助该连接器20与一个可操作的控制单元相连接,以便根据预先设定程序控制与打印针相连的致动装置的动作。
参照图4和图5,打印针导向部件16基本上是具有两个平面表面18、20的平行六面体形状,在这两个表面中形成有多个通孔,每个通孔用来容纳并引导一个相应的打印针。
特别参照图4,引导部件16具有第一排孔22,其圆心排列在第一纵向直线24上。孔22的圆心设置在相应的第一横向直线26上,这些横向直线在纵向方向上间隔一个称作节距的定值。该节距等于或略小于孔22的直径。结果,这排孔22形成了一个单一的由一系列的圆弧形成的通孔,这些圆弧通过狭窄的通道彼此分开,这些通道相当于分开两个相邻孔的部分。
导向部件16具有由多个孔28组成的第二排孔,其圆心相互排列在第二纵向直线30上,这条第二纵向直线平行于第一纵向直线24,并且与第一纵向直线相距几个节距,通常为两倍节距。孔28具有象孔22一样的直径,并且在第一排孔之间沿着直线30相互间隔一个节距的距离。孔28的圆心位于相应的横向直线32上。每一条横向直线32基本上设置在两相邻横向直线26之间的中线,因此与第一纵向直线24相交在与两相邻孔22的圆心等距离的点上。在附图所示的例子中,第二排的孔28在数量上要比第一排孔22少一个。在一个实际的实施例中,将第一和第二排孔各自形成9个和8个孔,直径为0.34mm±0.01mm且彼此相距一个等于0.33mm±0.01mm的节距。孔22、28用来容纳相应的直径为0.32mm±0.01mm的打印针。
导向部件16还能够设置第三排孔,甚至第四排孔。第三排孔最好由两对孔34形成,其圆心排列在第三纵向直线36上,该直线平行于纵向直线30并与直线30相距基本上等于两倍节距的距离。这些对孔34设置得与第一或第二排孔相应的末端保持一致。孔34的圆心设置在相应的横向直线38上,每一条直线38设置在与所述的孔34相邻、相应于孔22、28的第一横向直线26和第二横向直线32之间的中点位置上。第三排孔可进一步包括一个置于两个对孔34之间的孔34a。
把第一排孔22作为一个参考,第二排孔28相对于第一排对应的孔偏移半个节距,同时第三排的每一个孔34相对于第一排对应的孔偏移1/4个节距。
第四排包括排列在一条第四纵向直线42上的两个孔40,该直线42平行于第一纵向直线24并与第一纵向直线相距大概两倍节距。每个孔40其圆心位于一条横向直线44上,该横向直线在纵向方向上,与对应的对孔34的横向直线38之间等距离。与第一排孔22相比,第四排孔40偏移了3/4节距。另一对孔40a可沿着直线42置于两个孔40之间。
导向部件16还设置有一对基准通孔,用于帮助将导向部件安装在打印头10上。
图6以放大的比例展示了用根据本发明打印头打印的与ISO 1004标准保持一致的一些字符。由本申请人进行的实践测试已经使其能够验证上述打印针的布置可以获得在标准中规定的字符可重复的高精确性。字符的直线截面有一定的不平度,这是点阵打印机的特征;然而,这一不平度大大低于标准中所规定的公差限制。与带有预制字符(菊花字盘或字符盘打印机)的打印机相比,根据本发明的点阵打印头易于在每秒100字符的速度下进行操作,然而带有预制字符的打印机只能在每秒20-50字符的速度下进行操作。
另外,与带有预制字符的打印机相比,本发明的点阵打印头在长时间打印中具有更好的字符尺寸稳定性。实际上,在带有预制字符的打印机中,字符的磨损会引起打印的字符尺寸的逐渐增大。结果,在增大之后,需要更换具有预制字符的打印头以避免所打印的字符不再符合由标准所设定的标准范围。另一方面,在根据本发明的点阵打印机中,即使打印针损耗很高,也不会改变所打印字符的形状。
上述装置和结构的部件能够在没有脱离下面权利要求所限定的本发明范围的情况下纵向任意变换。

Claims (10)

1.一种具有一个打印针导向部件的点阵打印头,包括:
第一排打印针导向孔,第一排孔具有相应的排列在第一纵向直线上的圆心,并且沿着所述第一纵向直线彼此相距一个节距的固定距离;
第二排打印针导向孔,第二排孔具有相应的排列在平行于第一纵向直线的第二纵向直线上的圆心,并且这些圆心沿着所述第二纵向直线彼此相距一个节距的固定距离,每一个第二排孔的圆心设置在一条横向直线上,该横向直线与第一直线相交在第一排两个相邻孔圆心之间的中点上;
第三排孔,包括排列在一条第三纵向直线上至少一个第一对孔和一个第二对孔,其中第三排孔的每一个孔的圆心设置在相应的横向直线上,这些横向直线位于一条通过第一排孔一个圆心的第一横向直线和一条通过第二排孔一个圆心的第二横向直线之间的中线上。
2.根据权利要求1的打印头,其特征在于,第二排孔包含孔的数量要比第一排孔的数量少一个。
3.根据权利要求2的打印头,其特征在于,第一和第二纵向直线在横向方向上彼此相距几个所述节距。
4.根据权利要求1的打印头,其特征在于,每一个所述孔的直径等于或大于所述节距。
5.根据权利要求1-4之一的打印头,其特征在于,第三排孔的第一和第二对孔设置在第一和第二排孔之一的相应的末端。
6.根据权利要求1-4之一的打印头,包括一第四排孔,该第四排孔包括排列在一条第四纵向直线上的至少两个孔,每一个第四排孔其圆心位于一条第四横向直线上,该横向直线与所述第三纵向直线相交于第三排孔的两个相邻孔圆心之间等距离的点上。
7.根据权利要求1-4之一的打印头,包括:一个另外的孔,其圆心设置在第三纵向直线中的第三排孔的所述第一和第二对孔之间的中点上。
8.根据权利要求6的打印头,包括:一个另外的孔,其圆心设置在第四纵向直线中的第四排孔之间的中点上。
9.根据权利要求1-4之一的打印头,其特征在于,每一根打印针的直径为0.32±0.01mm。
10.根据权利要求3的打印头,其特征在于,第一和第二纵向直线之间的距离等于0.66±0.015mm。
