Description

Method and device for calculating audience rating of archived program
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of television program data processing, in particular to a method and a device for calculating the audience rating of archived programs.
Background
The television program is taken as the current mainstream information bearing medium and becomes an indispensable component in daily life of people, and the goodness evaluation of a television program is mainly based on the program audience rating obtained when the program is played. The audience rating is the percentage of the total target population of target viewers watching a certain television program during a certain time period. Ratings are now commonly obtained by third party data research companies by telephone, questionnaires, set-top boxes or other means sampling surveys. However, according to the existing audience rating statistical method, the audience rating of a tv program is often calculated in a certain time period, and the counted users include both users watching the program completely and users watching a part of the program, so that the obtained audience rating result is often higher than the actual audience rating, and the calculation result is inaccurate.
In addition, for programs that are broadcast in segments, such as a series broadcast of a tv show, since non-program contents such as advertisements exist between each episode or adjacent episodes, the counted audience rating is mostly a segmented result, and it is very inconvenient to perform a secondary calculation to obtain the overall audience rating of the entire program. Meanwhile, for television programs rebroadcast in different time periods, due to different time periods, when the audience rating is counted, a plurality of different audience rating results exist in the same program, so that a statistic person needs to further analyze the time period corresponding to each audience rating to determine the overall audience rating of the television program. Therefore, compared with the current television program arrangement, the current audience rating statistical mode has larger error in the counted program audience rating.

Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the present disclosure may be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the disclosure to those skilled in the art.
In order to improve the accuracy of the analysis result of the user requirement, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for calculating an audience rating of an archived program, where as shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
101. and acquiring a television program playing record list in a preset time period.
The recording list is a program list recorded according to the playing time sequence, each record in the program list is a continuously played television program, each recorded content comprises a program name, playing time length, corresponding segment audience rating and an archiving identifier, and the archiving identifier is archiving information marked according to preset rules.
Different tv programs are recorded in the program list, each record represents a tv program that is continuously played, for example, when there is a record in a certain tv program list, the content includes: "19: 45, nominal name of people (12) ", which indicates that the satellite channels corresponding to the television program list are 19: at 45, the played program is a "name of people" (12) "of a series, wherein the playing duration of the television program may be obtained in the process of obtaining the television program playlist, or obtained by performing calculation according to the program information in the television program list, which is not specifically limited herein.
Specifically, the television program may be a program of a television channel, such as a television channel program, a local satellite program, or a program of each live platform. In addition, the television program playing record can be obtained in different modes such as web crawler crawling, background access, server resource sharing and the like, and can be selected according to needs.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the preset time period may be selected as needed, for example, 5 hours of 1:00 to 6:00 of 10 days of 5 months in 2017 may be selected as the preset time period. By the method in the step, a 5-hour television program playing record of a local television set from 1:00 to 6:00 on 10 days 1/10 in 2017 can be obtained, specifically, as shown in table 1:
TABLE 1
Figure BDA0001307850550000061
Figure BDA0001307850550000071
In table 1, the records in the program list are arranged according to the playing time, and the segment audience rating corresponding to each record in the program list can be obtained from the television station corresponding to the channel, or obtained by analyzing the big data of the network platform, or obtained by a related technical means, specifically, can be selected according to the actual situation, and is not limited specifically here.
In addition, the archived identification in this step may be one or more of different identifications such as numbers, symbols, letters or codes, and the position of the identification may be set in the program name in the program list, before the program name, after the program name, etc. However, it should be noted that when the set identifier position is in the program name, the selected identifier needs to be distinguished from the program name, so as to avoid confusion with the program name in the subsequent operation and error. For example: if the selected archive identifier is capital letter N and the location of the identifier is marked before the program name in the program listing, then when the record exists in the acquired program listing as "NBA live event: when bull is VS jazz ", the program name in the program list has capital letter N, and the existing position, i.e., the first position of the program name, is the same as the filing identifier and the identifier position thereof set in this step, so in the subsequent operation, it may occur that the record is not marked by the filing identifier in this step, but is still defaulted by the system as the first letter N to perform the related operation, resulting in the behavior of subsequent misoperation. Therefore, the filing identifier and the marking mode of the identifier information thereof set in the step need to be scientifically selected to avoid possible subsequent misoperation.
When the filing information is marked for each record in the program list, a mapping table corresponding to the program list can be additionally established according to the currently acquired program list, and then different marking rules of the filing identification are selected according to the requirement. Then, according to the marking rule, each record in the program list of the current mapping table is marked with the archive identification. And finishing the work of filing, identifying and recording each record on the mapping table, and then synchronously mapping the operated table data to the program list. This ensures that errors caused by the same archive identifier are avoided when there are multiple archive identifier rules or when multiple archive information flags are performed on the same table.
In combination with the method described in this step, according to the contents in table 1, different archive identification marks are respectively used for each piece of record mark archive information included therein according to different program types in the program list. The method comprises the steps of recording a weather forecast program, a television series program, an advertisement program, a news program, other programs and an archive information mark, wherein the archive mark of the weather forecast program is A, the archive mark of the television series program is B, the archive mark of the advertisement program is C, the archive mark of the news program is E, the archive mark of the other programs is D, and the position of the archive information mark is in front of the name of each recorded program. As shown in table 2:
TABLE 2
Travel weather forecast 30 minutes 0.12%
B, television play: latency 16 45 minutes 0.19%
C advertisement 1 minute 0.07%
B, television play: latency 17 45 minutes 0.18%
C advertisement 2 minutes 0.08%
B, television play: latency 18 45 minutes 0.20%
B, television play: latency 19 45 minutes 0.15%
C advertisement 2 minutes 0.04%
B, television play: latent 20 45 minutes 0.14%
D recording sheet-sea 25 minutes 0.16%
E morning news 15 minutes 0.18%
In this embodiment of the present invention, the program name is a part of the content in the first column of table 2, such as "tv play: latency 16 "," advertisement "," documentary-ocean ", etc. The playing time is the contents in the second column of table 1, such as "30 minutes", "45 minutes", etc. The segment audience ratings are the contents in the third column of table 1, such as "0.12%", "0.19%", "0.07%" and so on. The filing identifier is the content in the first column in table 2, except the program name, such as "a", "B", "C", "D", etc.
By the method, different time periods can be set according to requirements to realize the function of acquiring the playing records of the television programs in different time periods. Meanwhile, the program playing record list integrates the television program list and the audience rating of each corresponding program, so that the audience rating corresponding to each program playing record can be conveniently and directly acquired in subsequent operation, and the operation speed is improved.
102. And merging the records belonging to the same-grade program according to the filing information.
After the method described in step 101 obtains the program list containing the archive identifier, in this step, it is necessary to merge records of programs in the same archive according to the identifier information corresponding to the archive identifier, and records containing the same archive information may be merged together, or records containing some archive information may be merged together.
In particular, when records containing the same archived information are merged, a single category archived program is formed. For example, the records with the identification information B are integrated in table 2, and the archive column with the tv series as the tv series, that is, the archive column with the tv series latency in 5 hours of the preset time period 2017, 5 month, 10 days 1:00 to 6:00, is obtained.
When records containing several archived information are combined, a composite category archived program is formed. For example, the records with the identification information B and C are integrated in the object 2 to obtain a comprehensive program tv, specifically, the program in a certain time range in a preset time period is integrated into an archive program.
In this step, it is possible to realize an integration function of dividing the programs into different segments in a certain time period or an integration function of the same or similar programs in a certain time period by combining records containing different archive information into one archive program.
103. And calculating the comprehensive audience rating of the same-file program by using the playing time length in the record and the corresponding paragraph audience rating.
In step 101, the segment audience rating corresponding to each record of the program list is obtained, the number of records included in the current filing column is calculated, the ratio of the segment audience rating to the total playing time of the filing column can be determined according to the playing time of each record, and the comprehensive audience rating of the same filing column can be obtained by combining the obtained audience rating corresponding to each record.
The method for calculating the audience rating of the archived programs provided by the embodiment of the invention is characterized in that when the audience rating of the programs broadcasted in the segmented mode is counted in the prior art, the counted programs are segmented audience rating, but not the integral audience rating of the programs broadcasted in the segmented mode; in addition, the comprehensive audience rating of the same-file program calculated according to the method can represent the audience rating of the program more scientifically, the problem that the audience rating result is higher than the actual audience rating due to the fact that the audience rating users comprise users watching partial programs in statistics in the prior art can be solved, the whole audience rating can be calculated by utilizing the playing time length in the record and the corresponding paragraph audience rating, and the error of calculating the audience rating in the prior art is reduced. Meanwhile, the function of acquiring the programs in different time periods can be realized by acquiring the television program playing record table in the preset time period, and when the preset time period is changed, the television programs in different time periods can be acquired conveniently and rapidly, so that the archiving and the audience rating calculation are carried out.
Further, as a refinement and an extension of the embodiment shown in fig. 1, another method for calculating the audience rating of the archived programs is provided in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2.
201. And acquiring a television program playing record list in a preset time period.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the television program play recording table is the same as the television program play recording table described in embodiment 101, wherein each record in the program list is a continuously played television program. The program list corresponding to the record table and the content included in each record, such as the program name, the playing time length, the corresponding segment audience rating, and the archive identifier, are all the same as those described in step 101 of the embodiment, and are not described herein again.
According to the method of the step, the function of acquiring the programs in different time periods can be realized by acquiring the television program playing record table in the preset time period. When the acquisition of the television program records in different time periods is acquired according to the needs, the function of acquiring the television program records in different time periods can be flexibly realized by modifying the preset time period, and then the filing of the subsequent steps and the calculation of the audience rating are carried out.
According to the method in this step, specific application scenarios are combined, for example, as follows:
when the selected preset time period is 2017, 5, month, 10, day 1:00 to 6:00, acquiring a television program playing record table of a certain satellite video channel, wherein the television program content of the satellite in 5 hours is as follows: 1:00-1:30, tourist weather forecast, 1:30-2:15, television: latency 16 "," 2:15-2:16, advertisement "," 2:16-3:01, drama: latency 17 "," 3:01-3:03, advertising "," 3:03-3:48, drama: latency 18 "," 3:48-4:33, drama: latency 19 "," 4:33-4:35, advertisement "," 4:35-5:20, drama: latency 20 "," 5:20-5:45, documentary-ocean "," 5:45-6:00, morning news ". Firstly, acquiring current program content and sequencing according to playing time; then, the playing time length of each program is calculated according to the playing time of the program; and finally, acquiring the audience rating corresponding to each program through the program name in the program list. A tv program broadcast record table of a certain satellite from 1:00 to 6:00 on 10 days 1:00 in 5 months in 2017 is obtained according to the program sequence, the broadcast time length and the audience rating of each program, as shown in table 3:
TABLE 3
Travel weather forecast 30 minutes 0.12%
Television play: latency 16 45 minutes 0.19%
Advertising 1 minute 0.07%
Television play: latency 17 45 minutes 0.18%
Advertising 2 minutes 0.08%
Television play: latency 18 45 minutes 0.20%
Television play: latency 19 45 minutes 0.15%
Advertising 2 minutes 0.04%
Television play: latent 20 45 minutes 0.14%
Recording sheet-sea 25 minutes 0.16%
Morning news 15 minutes 0.18%
202. A column is added to the program listing for storing an archive identifier for marking recordings belonging to the same program.
Through increase a list in the playbill to in the storage file the sign, can file the mark of identification information to each record on the solitary list in the playbill, can avoid directly adding in the playbill and file the sign and probably lead to confusing and then making the problem of follow-up maloperation that appears with the content in the playbill, and then guaranteed the accuracy of follow-up operation.
203. And assigning a value to the filing identifier according to the program name in the record to obtain filing information corresponding to the record.
After adding an archived identification column in the program list, which is specifically used to mark archived identification information of different programs therein, as described in step 202, according to the method of this step, the location of each archived identification of a program may be assigned due to different needs and purposes. It should be noted that, if no value is currently assigned to any program, the archived identification information of each program in the current program list is an initialization value. Subsequently, after assigning values to the archived identifications of the programs according to different needs, the archived identification information marked by different programs is also different. Thus, different archived identification information for each program may represent different types or categories of programs that need to be identified for subsequent correlation operations.
Wherein, in this step, assigning a value to the archive identifier according to the program name in the record includes: extracting records with the same program name in the program list to obtain at least one play record group; sequencing the records in the playing record group according to the playing start time; and sequentially assigning the filing identifications of the records one by one according to the sequence, wherein the assignment is N, and N is a natural number.
Specifically, the record groups containing the same program name are obtained by extracting the records of the same program name in the program list. When the record of the program name in the program list in the preset time period includes a plurality of records with different names, and the number of the records of each name is more than one, the acquired record groups are a plurality of record groups, for example, when the program list includes "tv play: and "advertisement" is hidden, and the number of records of the two programs is more than one, the record group obtained according to the method in the step is a record group including "drama: latency of the "record group and the record group containing" advertisement "; and when the records of the program names in the program list in the preset time period are all the same, the acquired record group is a record group. In conjunction with table 3 in step 201, one of the obtained play record groups is shown in table 4 below:
TABLE 4

N+2 Television play: latency 18 45 minutes 0.20%

According to the method in the step, the broadcast record group can be obtained by extracting the program records with the same name in the program list, so that the preliminary classification of different programs in the program list is realized, the assignment process of the filing identification information of the programs can be more scientific, and the screening function of the advertisement part can be realized when the advertisement insertion exists in the segmented programs.
Further, sequentially assigning the archival identifiers of the records one by one according to the sorting comprises: calculating the time difference between the broadcast starting time of the record and the broadcast starting time of the previous record; when the time difference is smaller than a threshold value, setting the assignment of the filing identification of the record as the assignment N of the previous record; and when the time difference is larger than a threshold value, setting the assignment value of the filing identification of the record to be N + 1.
Specifically, when the recorded filing identifiers are sequentially assigned one by one, the same filing identifier information on the program marks corresponding to the adjacent records smaller than the threshold value can be obtained by comparing the playing time difference between every two adjacent records with the threshold value. For example, there are currently 4 records, which are record 1, record 2, record 3, and record 4 in order according to their playing time ordering, and these four records correspond to program a, program B, program C, and program D, respectively, in order. When the difference between the playing times of record 1 and record 2 is smaller than the threshold, when the difference between the playing times of record 2 and record 3 is greater than the threshold, and when the difference between the playing times of record 3 and record 4 is smaller than the threshold, according to the method described in this step, record 1 and record 2 can be marked with the same archive identifier N, and record 3 and record 4 can be marked with the same archive identifier N +1, so that it can be understood that the archive identifiers of program a and program B are the same N, and the archive identifiers of program C and program D are the same N + 1. Therefore, the 4 section objects are recorded with two different archiving identification information for subsequent related operations. It should be noted that the threshold may be set as needed, the specific threshold may be self-adjusted as needed, and the size of the threshold is selected according to different needs in the process of marking the archived identification information.
Therefore, by setting a threshold value and determining the relationship between the recorded broadcast starting time and the time difference between the recorded broadcast starting time and the last recorded broadcast starting time and the threshold value, the assignment process of the filing identifier can be controlled, and then the same or different marking of the filing identifier information can be carried out on the programs by judging the difference value of the starting time of the adjacent programs, so that the programs with the same name can be subjected to different filing operations in the subsequent filing process according to the requirements.
According to all the methods described in the step, in combination with the actual application scenario, the specific implementation process is as follows: when the program guide within the acquired preset time period is as shown in the following table 5,
TABLE 5
Television play: latency 16 25 minutes 0.23%
Advertising 5 minutes 0.19%
Television play: latency 16 25 minutes 0.24%
Advertising 10 minutes 0.16%
Television play: latency 17 25 minutes 0.22%
Advertising 5 minutes 0.18%
Television play: latency 17 25 minutes 0.22%
First, an archive flag column is added to the program list in current table 5, and the archive flag column can be used to mark archive flag information to obtain table 6, as shown below,
TABLE 6
Figure BDA0001307850550000131
Figure BDA0001307850550000141
Then, records having the same program name in the program list or records containing the same character in the program name are extracted in table 6 above, and a play record group is obtained. The play record groups obtained in the application scenario are two play record groups, one of which is a play record group containing' drama: the "hidden" play record group, and the other play record group containing "advertisement". Here, the term "tv drama: the latent playback record group, as shown in table 7,
TABLE 7
Television play: latency 16 25 minutes 0.23%
Television play: latency 16 25 minutes 0.24%
Television play: latency 17 25 minutes 0.22%
Television play: latency 17 25 minutes 0.22%
Then, the records in the play record group are sorted according to the play start time, wherein the play times of the 4 tv plays are respectively 8: 00. 8: 30. 9: 05. 9: 35, the playing time 8: the tv play of the column corresponding to 00 is ranked first and is sequenced according to time in sequence. Then, the play time difference of every two adjacent records is calculated to be 30 minutes, 35 minutes and 30 minutes respectively. When the set threshold value is 31 minutes and the difference value of the playing start time of the second program and the playing start time of the first program is less than the threshold value by 30 minutes, setting and assigning the archive identification assignment of the second program record as the same assignment N of the first program archive identification; if the difference value 35 between the starting time of the third program and the starting time of the second program is greater than the threshold value, the filing identification assignment of the third program is set to be N + 1; and if the difference value 30 between the playing start time of the fourth program and the playing start time of the third program is smaller than the threshold value, setting and assigning the archive identification assignment of the fourth program record as N +1 which is the same as the archive identification assignment of the third program. And N is selected as a natural number, and when N is 1, the archiving identification information of the first program is 1, the archiving identification information of the second program is 1, the archiving identification information of the third program is 2, and the archiving identification information of the first program is 2. Specifically, the first, second, third, and fourth programs are sequentially described, the four columns correspond to four television programs in the application scenario, and the specific operation result corresponding to the step in the application scenario is shown in table 8 below,
TABLE 8

Figure BDA0001307850550000151
204. And merging the records belonging to the same-grade program according to the filing information.
Specifically, the method comprises the following steps: and combining the records with the same program name and the same filing identification and the same assignment in the program list into a same-file program record, and reserving the playing time length and the corresponding paragraph audience rating of each original record in the same-file program record.
By combining records corresponding to the same filing identification with the same name and the same assignment into a same-file program record, filing operation of similar or same programs can be realized, and by combining the table 8 shown in the step 203, the title television play a with filing identification information of 1 is combined into a same-file program record a by the method in the step; similarly, the tv series a with the filing identification information of 2 is merged into another program record b with the same file, and the contents shown in the following tables 9 and 10 can be obtained:
TABLE 9
Figure BDA0001307850550000152
Watch 10
Figure BDA0001307850550000153
By the method, the programs with the same filing information can be merged under one filing program by merging the filing information of the program list into the records belonging to the same file, and the effect of integrating each segment in the segment playing program can be further achieved.
205. And calculating the comprehensive audience rating of the same-file program by using the playing time length in the record and the corresponding paragraph audience rating.
The method specifically comprises the following steps: when the same-file program contains a plurality of playing records, acquiring the playing time length of each playing record and the corresponding paragraph audience rating; calculating the total time length of the same-grade program; and calculating the comprehensive audience rating of the same-grade program by taking the ratio of the playing time length of each playing record to the total time length as the weight value of the audience rating of the corresponding paragraph.
Since the same-file list includes information such as the audience rating, the playing time length, and the name of the paragraph, the total playing time length of the same-file list can be calculated according to the playing time length of each playing record. Specifically, the ratio of the playing time length of each playing record to the total time length is used as a weighted value of the rating of the corresponding paragraph, and the formula for calculating the comprehensive rating of the same-grade program may be:
rating of the same-profile program (paragraph 1 rating, paragraph 1 playback time length + paragraph 2 rating, paragraph 2 playback time length + … … + paragraph n rating, paragraph n playback time length)/total duration of the same-profile program
For example, according to the method described in this step, in conjunction with the table 9 contents described in step 204, the rating of the same-profile program record a can be calculated to be 0.23%.
By the method, the comprehensive audience rating of the same-grade program can be calculated, the segmented audience rating of each segmented program in a period of time is not required, the problem of inaccurate audience rating calculation caused by the fact that the advertisement is inserted in the two programs can be solved, and the accuracy of calculating the audience rating of the program is improved.
Further, according to the method described in step 201-205, an embodiment of the present invention may further provide an implementation manner of calculating the audience rating of the profile program in combination with a specific application scenario, where the implementation process is divided into six execution steps, which are specifically described as follows:
firstly, an original program list obtained from a certain satellite television is analyzed, programs such as advertisements and the like which do not need to be analyzed are filtered, and a program list to be analyzed is generated and recorded as a program list A. In the program list a, the program information includes program names, playing durations, and segment audience ratings corresponding to each program. Each program is recorded as a program and stored in the program guide a.
And secondly, adding a column in the program list A as an archiving identifier of the program in the program list A, and recording archiving identifier initialization information 0 for each section of program, wherein the archiving identifier initialization information indicates that the program in the current program list A is not marked with the archiving identifier.
And thirdly, acquiring the program record with the filing identifier of 0 in the program list A to generate a program list B. If the program in the program list B does not exist, the program in the program list A is completely filed, and the execution process of the scene is exited; if the program still exists in the program list B, the program records with the same program name in the program list B are sequenced according to the starting time of the program, the program record sequenced at the first position in the record combination of different program names is taken out to generate a program list C, the filing identification information of the program in the program list C is modified to be N, and the rest of the programs in the program list B generate another program list D. Wherein N is a natural number, and the value of N is the same as the value of the execution times of the current third step.
And fourthly, comparing the starting time of the program records with the same program name contained in the program list C and the program list D and calculating the difference of the starting time of the program records. If the difference between the start times of the program record in program listing D and the program record in program listing C is within a threshold, the archived identification information for the corresponding program record in program listing D is updated to N.
And fifthly, synchronizing the archive identification information of the program records in the program list C and the program list D to the corresponding program in the program list A.
And sixthly, updating the archiving identification information N, wherein the updating rule is that N is equal to N +1, simultaneously jumping to the third step in the previous steps, and circularly executing the recording mark archiving identification information of the unarchived programs in the program list A.
Through the implementation processes from the first step to the sixth step, the program filing identification information in the program list a can be continuously and synchronously updated according to the circulation of the steps through the filing identification information recorded by the programs in the program list C and the program list B, so as to achieve the effect of recording the filing identification information on the program targets in the program list a, and further, the programs with the same filing identification information can be filed for the subsequent calculation of the audience rating, which is essentially the same as the method described in the step 201 and the step 205. In actual use, the execution process of the application scenario is more fit with the implementation logic of the software codes, and therefore the implementation process of audience rating calculation of the archived programs can be conveniently implemented.
However, it should be noted that the specific implementation described in the above application scenarios is only an example, and is not the only specific implementation of the embodiment of the present invention, and is only one of the optimized implementations of the method according to the present invention.
