Description

Preparation method of recyclable artificial turf
Technical Field
The invention relates to a recyclable artificial lawn, and belongs to the technical field of artificial lawn preparation.
Background
After the traditional artificial turf is tufted, a last back gluing process is carried out, and styrene-butadiene latex or polyurethane emulsion is generally used for coating and baking, so that the grass filaments are firmer in the base fabric, and the extraction force of the grass filaments is increased. The straw filament is generally formed by drawing polyethylene PE or polypropylene PP plastics, and the base fabric is woven by polypropylene PP plastics. When artificial turf is to be recycled after some years of use, one encounters great challenges and difficulties. Firstly, polyethylene PE or polypropylene PP plastic and styrene-butadiene latex or polyurethane emulsion are two completely different chemical substances, have different structures and properties, and are almost impossible to recycle without crushing and separating; however, the physical separation and other chemical separation of mechanical crushing must be carried out by a plurality of physical and chemical methods, so that not only is the dust and the waste generated huge secondary pollution in the separation process, but also the separated limited substances have extremely low utilization value, can not be completely separated clearly, and have huge cost; is an uneconomical, non-recyclable product life cycle; millions of tons of waste artificial lawns cannot be recycled due to the non-recyclability of the existing artificial lawns, so that not only resources are seriously wasted, but also serious secondary polluted air and environment are formed by unreasonable incineration or low-grade separation treatment which is uneconomical and can not be recycled continuously; secondly, no matter polyethylene PE or polypropylene PP plastic or styrene-butadiene latex or polyurethane emulsion can not be degraded in a short period, and can not be naturally absorbed even if buried for a hundred years, so that the product life cycle is one-way and non-recyclable, and the economy can not be continuously developed.
CN102808368 discloses a recyclable artificial lawn and a preparation method thereof, wherein the artificial lawn comprises artificial grass filaments, a base fabric and a back adhesive EVA hot melt adhesive layer; the preparation method comprises the steps of tufting the artificial grass filaments on the base fabric by using a planting needle, then carrying out hot melting on the EVA solid to 160-180 ℃, and coating the EVA solid on the back of the base fabric by a dripping method. The EVA hot melt adhesive is used as the back adhesive layer of the artificial lawn, although the EVA hot melt adhesive can be recycled to a certain extent, the production efficiency is extremely low, the practical economic feasibility is not provided, and no corresponding equipment is available at present; moreover, EVA contains a certain amount of vinyl acetate, which has negative influence on the physical properties after recovery, and the utilization value of the recovered materials is extremely low.
CN103603253 discloses a recyclable artificial turf and a preparation method thereof, wherein the artificial turf comprises artificial grass filaments, a base fabric and a back adhesive, wherein the back adhesive is a polyolefin back adhesive layer prepared from polyolefin materials; the preparation method comprises tufting artificial grass filaments on a base fabric by using a needle, and attaching a film layer made of Polyethylene (PE), ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) or polyethylene octene co-elastomer (POE) material to the back of the lawn which is stretched and translated. The incomplete polyolefin and incomplete ethylene polymer material containing EVA adopted in the patent can be recycled as a back glue layer of an artificial lawn to a certain extent, but have several problems, firstly, the EVA contains a vinyl acetate component, so that the elasticity and strength retention rate for recycling are seriously reduced, more deadly, the components are incompatible, and the physical properties after recycling and granulation are seriously reduced, and then the recycling value is hardly realized. Second, additional equipment is necessary, namely a T-die head is installed on the extruder, which is non-standard equipment and the investment and return are difficult to balance. Thirdly, how to smoothly extrude the T-shaped polyolefin film layer with the width of 4 meters to be matched with the lawn for fusion and coagulation to roll up is difficult to industrialize.

The recyclable artificial turf prepared in the second embodiment of the invention is recycled, crushed, re-granulated and drawn into grass filaments, the single filament fiber degree of the grass filaments is 1100Dtex, and the section is S-shaped; the PP and PE contents are close, and the pigment and filler contents are close; the artificial turf was observed and tested for recyclability in terms of appearance, breaking strength and elongation from two dimensions:
(1) the single grass filament has breaking strength of 12.7 Newton and elongation of 35.8% under the condition of the same fiber degree of 1100 Dtex.
(2) Likewise 10 filaments form a tuft, the breaking strength is 123.7 newtons and the elongation is 25.7% at a total fiber size of 66000 Dtex.
Comparative example one:
the grass filaments are prepared from a primary new material, the fiber degree of the monofilament of the grass filaments is 1100Dtex, the section of the grass filaments is S-shaped, the breaking strength of the grass filaments is 12 newtons respectively through detection, and the elongation is 37% respectively; when 10 identical monofilaments were used, the total fiber content of the filament bundle was 66000Dtex, the breaking strength was 120N and the elongation was 27%.
Comparative example two:
the traditional artificial turf system adopts Pasteur traditional styrene-butadiene latex Styrofan &7215as a main material of back adhesive, and grass filaments are obtained by recovering, crushing, re-granulating and wire-drawing, wherein after wire-drawing, the rigidity of the system is increased due to the addition of bottom fabric PP, the elongation is reduced, the recovery performance is reduced, more mainly due to the addition of the back adhesive styrene-butadiene latex, the system has different chemical properties and incompatibility with the system, and the crushed, granulated and wire-drawn grass filaments are taken as impurities to influence the recovery performance; the content of PE in various effective polyolefins in the main material is reduced to 40%, the content of PP in the main material is 32%, the grass filaments are rough in appearance and barely drawn under the condition that the fiber degree of the same grass filament single filament is 1100Dtex and the section is also S-shaped, the detected breaking strength is only 9.5 newtons, and the elongation is only 20.7%; the breaking strength was only 94.9 newtons and the elongation was only 18% when a total fiber content of 66000Dtex was obtained with 10 identical 1100 filaments.
Comparative example three:
the traditional artificial turf system adopts Celvolit 1510 of Seranian and traditional vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion which does not contain plasticizer as a back glue main material, and is crushed and reproduced into granules after recovery, and because the granules are completely incompatible, the surfaces of the granules are rough and have abnormal white impurities, so that the recovery target of the drawn wires into the grass yarns can not be realized.
From the results, it can be seen that the recyclable lawn prepared by the second embodiment of the present invention has an appearance similar to that of the original fresh lawn after being recycled and drawn, and has breaking strength and elongation similar to those of the original fresh lawn, which indicates that the recyclable lawn prepared by the second embodiment of the present invention has a good recycling effect.
