With continued reference to fig. 2, a flow 200 of one embodiment of a method for determining a category of a wireless access point in accordance with the present application is shown. The method for determining the class of a wireless access point comprises the following steps:
step 201, determining the neighbor wireless access point of the wireless access point to be processed.
In this embodiment, an execution subject of the method for determining the category of the wireless access point (e.g., the network device 105 shown in fig. 1) may acquire the wireless access point to be processed by a wired connection manner or a wireless connection manner. It should be noted that the wireless connection means may include, but is not limited to, a 3G/4G connection, a WiFi connection, a bluetooth connection, a WiMAX connection, a Zigbee connection, a uwb (ultra wideband) connection, and other wireless connection means now known or developed in the future.
In some embodiments, the wireless access point to be processed may be a wireless access point scanned and acquired by the user through the terminal device 101, 102, 103. When the terminal device 101, 102, 103 cannot determine the category of the wireless access point of the pending wireless access point, the information of the pending wireless access point may be sent to the network device 105. The network device 105 may receive the pending wireless access point in a number of ways. The network device 105 may perform data processing on the wireless access point to be processed to obtain a neighbor wireless access point corresponding to the wireless access point to be processed.
In some embodiments, the wireless access point to be processed may be a wireless access point whose classification has not been determined in the database of the network side. The network device 105 may read data from the database to determine the wireless access point to be processed.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, step 201 may include the following steps:
the method comprises the steps of firstly, obtaining a plurality of historical scanning sets containing identification information of the wireless access points to be processed.
In practice, the terminal devices 101, 102, and 103 may perform multiple scans at multiple locations, and each scan may obtain information of a corresponding wireless access point. The information of the wireless access points scanned by different terminal devices 101, 102, 103 at different positions may be different or the same. The terminal devices 101, 102, 103 may then send information of the scanned wireless access points to the network device 105. The network device 105 may use the received information of the wireless access points transmitted from the respective terminal devices 101, 102, 103 as history scanning information.
After acquiring the wireless access point to be processed, the network device 105 may match the wireless access point to be processed with the historical scanning information to acquire a plurality of historical scanning sets including identification information of the wireless access point to be processed. Wherein each of the plurality of history scanning sets may include identification information of a wireless access point scanned by one terminal device at a time.
And secondly, determining neighbor wireless access points of the wireless access points to be processed according to the historical scanning set.
After obtaining the historical scan set, the network device 105 may determine the neighboring wireless access point corresponding to the wireless access point to be processed in a variety of ways. For example, the plurality of historical scanning sets obtained in the foregoing first step and containing the identification information of the wireless access point to be processed may be merged into one historical scanning set, and the other intangible access points in the historical scanning set may be used as neighbor wireless access points of the wireless access point to be processed. For another example, the identification information in the multiple history scanning sets obtained in the first step and containing the identification information of the wireless access point to be processed may be filtered and combined into one history scanning set, and the other intangible access points in the history scanning set may be used as neighbor wireless access points of the wireless access point to be processed.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the neighbor wireless access points of the to-be-processed wireless access point include wireless access points in a geographic area where the to-be-processed wireless access point is located, and the geographic area is preset.
When acquiring the neighbor wireless access point of the wireless access point to be processed, the network device 105 may acquire the neighbor wireless access point by selecting the wireless access point in the set geographic area. First, the network device 105 may determine location information of the wireless access point to be processed, and further determine a geographic area to which the location of the wireless access point to be processed on the map belongs. Wherein the geographical area may be preset. The geographic area may be sized by longitude and latitude; e.g., geographic areas divided in a geohash fashion, etc. Then, the network device 105 may obtain the wireless access point in the geographic area where the wireless access point to be processed is located through historical data or real-time search, and the like, and use the wireless access point in the geographic area as a neighbor wireless access point of the wireless access point to be processed.
It should be noted that, in some cases, the determination of the neighboring wireless access point of the wireless access point to be processed and the subsequent steps 202 and 203 may be performed by using either of the above two implementations of step 201 set forth in the present embodiment (i.e., the two implementations are relatively independent). Alternatively, the above two implementations may be combined to determine neighboring wireless access points of the wireless access point to be processed and perform the subsequent steps 202 and 203. For example, a plurality of history scanning sets including the identification information of the wireless access point to be processed may be obtained, and the wireless access point in the geographic area where the wireless access point to be processed is located and the plurality of wireless access points included in the plurality of history scanning sets may be used as neighbor wireless access points of the wireless access point to be processed, or after the wireless access point in the geographic area where the wireless access point to be processed is located and the plurality of wireless access points included in the plurality of history scanning sets are screened, neighbor access points of the wireless access point to be processed are obtained. For another example, in step 201, a first implementation manner (obtaining a plurality of history scanning sets including the identification information of the wireless access point to be processed, and determining a neighboring wireless access point of the wireless access point to be processed according to the history scanning sets) is performed to obtain a neighboring access point of the wireless access point to be processed, and then if the type of the wireless access point to be processed can be determined after the neighboring wireless access point obtained based on the first implementation manner performs steps 202 and 203, the process is terminated; if the type of the wireless access point to be processed cannot be determined based on the neighboring wireless access point obtained by the first implementation, step 201 is executed again, the neighboring wireless access point of the wireless access point to be processed is determined by the second implementation, and then steps 202 and 203 are executed based on the neighboring wireless access point determined by the second implementation.
Step 202, identifying neighbor wireless access points similar to the wireless access point to be processed according to the access point information of the neighbor wireless access points and the access point information of the wireless access point to be processed, and determining the number of the similar neighbor wireless access points.
The neighboring wireless access point may contain a plurality of different wireless access points. In order to further improve the identification accuracy of the wireless access point to be processed, the network device 105 may analyze the access point information of each wireless access point included in the neighboring wireless access points. Then, the network device 105 may screen out neighboring wireless access points from the neighboring wireless access points that are similar to the access point information of the wireless access point to be processed according to the analysis result, and determine the number of the similar neighboring wireless access points.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the network device may identify, among the determined neighbor wireless access points, a neighbor wireless access point that matches the information of the wireless access point to be processed as a similar neighbor wireless access point. For example, a neighboring wireless access point that matches the name (e.g., SSID) of the wireless access point to be processed, password, physical address, etc. is identified as a similar neighboring wireless access point.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the neighbor wireless access points of the to-be-processed wireless access point include wireless access points in a geographic area where the to-be-processed wireless access point is located, and the geographic area is preset. Identifying neighbor wireless access points similar to the wireless access point to be processed according to the access point information of the neighbor wireless access points and the access point information of the wireless access point to be processed, and determining the number of the similar neighbor wireless access points, wherein the method comprises the following steps: clustering the wireless access points in the geographic area according to the access point information of the wireless access points in the geographic area to obtain at least one group of wireless access point set, wherein other wireless access points in the set where the wireless access points to be processed are neighbor wireless access points similar to the wireless access points to be processed, and the number of the other wireless access points is the number of the similar neighbor wireless access points.
After obtaining the neighboring wireless access points, the network device 105 may cluster the wireless access points in the geographic area according to the access point information of the wireless access points in the geographic area, and divide the wireless access points in the geographic area into at least one group of wireless access point sets. The wireless access point to be processed necessarily belongs to a certain set of wireless access points in at least one set of wireless access point sets. Other wireless access points in the set of pending wireless access points may be considered neighbor wireless access points similar to the pending wireless access point. I.e. the number of other wireless access points, i.e. the number of neighboring wireless access points similar to the pending wireless access point.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the access point information includes at least one of: the name of the wireless access point, the password of the wireless access point, the physical address of the wireless access point. And the neighbor wireless access point similar to the wireless access point to be processed meets at least one of the following conditions: the names of the wireless access point to be processed and the similar neighbor wireless access point contain the same characters conforming to the first characteristics, the passwords of the wireless access point to be processed and the similar neighbor wireless access point contain the same characters conforming to the second characteristics, and the physical addresses of the wireless access point to be processed and the similar neighbor wireless access point contain the same characters conforming to the third characteristics.
The network device 105 may screen out neighboring wireless access points similar to the pending wireless access point from the neighboring wireless access points according to the information included in the access point information. The manner of screening similar neighboring wireless access points includes, but is not limited to, the following. First, the network device 105 may match the name of the wireless access point to be processed with the names of the neighboring wireless access points, and determine the neighboring wireless access points with the same or similar names as the neighboring wireless access points similar to the wireless access point to be processed. Second, the network device 105 may match the password of the wireless access point to be processed with the password of the neighboring wireless access point, and determine the neighboring wireless access point with the same or similar password as the neighboring wireless access point similar to the wireless access point to be processed. Third, the network device 105 may match the physical address of the wireless access point to be processed with the physical addresses of the neighboring wireless access points, and determine the neighboring wireless access points with the same or similar physical addresses as the neighboring wireless access points similar to the wireless access point to be processed. The foregoing "similar" decision rule can be configured by those skilled in the art according to actual needs.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, before step 201, the method of this embodiment may further include: and determining the category of the wireless access point to be processed in response to the fact that the name of the wireless access point to be processed contains information matched with a preset keyword. Step 201 may include: and determining the neighbor wireless access point of the wireless access point to be processed in response to the fact that the name of the wireless access point to be processed does not contain the information matched with the preset keyword.
In order to facilitate identification of the wireless access point to be processed, the network device 105 may store a plurality of preset keywords in advance. The preset keywords may be used to characterize the category of the wireless access point. After acquiring the wireless access point to be processed, the network device 105 may first determine the category of the wireless access point to be processed by matching the preset keyword with the name of the wireless access point to be processed. When the name of the wireless access point to be processed does not contain the information matched with the preset keyword, the judgment of the category of the wireless access point to be processed is difficult only through the name of the wireless access point to be processed. At this point, the network device 105 may perform step 201 and subsequent steps described above.
Step 203, in response to that the number meets a preset condition, determining the category of the wireless access point to be processed.
Currently, the existing wireless access point classification is mostly classified by using manual experience. Also, those skilled in the art have not discovered that some particular classes of wireless access points may exhibit the following characteristics: similar to each other and geographically close to each other; for example, a commercial category of wireless access points, such as hotels, restaurants, etc., may have multiple wireless access points that are similar to each other in a more concentrated area. The present application discovers the above-mentioned laws, which have not been discovered in the art, and uses the laws to identify specific categories of wireless access points that are similar to each other and grouped together. In some embodiments, different preset thresholds may be set for different types of wireless access points, and the preset thresholds may also establish a corresponding relationship with the type of the corresponding wireless access point. When the number of similar neighboring wireless access points satisfies a preset condition (e.g., the number of similar neighboring wireless access points may exceed a preset threshold), the network device 105 may determine the category of the wireless access point to be processed as the category of the wireless access point corresponding to the preset threshold.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, after step 203, the method of this embodiment may further include the following steps:
and step one, responding to the situation that the number does not meet the preset condition, and acquiring the connection behavior information of a plurality of users for connecting the wireless access point to be processed.
When the number of similar neighboring wireless access points does not satisfy a preset condition (e.g., the number of similar neighboring wireless access points does not exceed a preset threshold), the network device 105 cannot determine the category of the wireless access point to be processed. At this time, the network device 105 may acquire connection behavior information of a plurality of users connecting to the wireless access point to be processed. Wherein the connection behavior information comprises at least one of: the time information of connecting the wireless access point to be processed (for example, the time length of connecting the wireless access point to be processed, the time period of connecting the wireless access point to be processed, etc.), and the number of devices simultaneously connecting the wireless access point to be processed.
And secondly, determining the category of the wireless access point to be processed according to the connection behavior information.
Different connection behavior information may also distinguish between categories of wireless access points. For example, a wireless access point connecting to an office area is typically during working hours of the work day, and the number of devices connecting to the wireless access point of the office area at the same time is typically large. While connecting personal wireless access points (which may be, for example, wireless access points of a home) is typically at times other than during working hours, and the number of connecting personal wireless access points is not too large.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the method may further include the steps of:
in a first step, a scan set from a terminal device is received.
When a user connects to a wireless access point of a certain place through the terminal devices 101, 102, 103, the terminal devices 101, 102, 103 can scan for a plurality of wireless access point information. The terminal devices 101, 102, 103 may then encapsulate the scanned multiple wireless access point information into a scanning set and send the scanning set to the network device 105. Wherein the scanning set comprises identification information of at least one wireless access point currently scanned by the terminal device.
And secondly, inquiring the category of the at least one wireless access point information based on the identification information.
After obtaining the scanning set, the network device 105 may obtain identification information of each wireless access point in the scanning set. The network device 105 may then match the identification information of each wireless access point with historical data on the network device 105 to query the category of each of the at least one wireless access point.
And thirdly, sending the identification information of the wireless access point of which the category is successfully inquired and the corresponding category to the terminal equipment.
Since the actual wireless access points may change from time to time, the history data on the network device 105 may not include at least one wireless access point sent by the terminal device 101, 102, 103. Thus, the network device 105 may not be able to determine a category for each of the at least one wireless access point. For security or to meet the user's demand for timely networking, the network device 105 may send identification information of wireless access points successfully queried into a category and the corresponding category to the terminal device so that the user selectively connects to the wireless access points. However, for at least one wireless access point, a wireless access point not queried for a category exists, the network device 105 may regard the wireless access point as the to-be-processed wireless access point, and determine the type of the to-be-processed wireless access point through the steps of the above embodiment.
With continued reference to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of an application scenario of the method for determining a category of a wireless access point according to the present embodiment. In the application scenario of fig. 3, the user a scans the identification information of multiple wireless access points through the terminal device 302, and encapsulates the identification information of multiple wireless access points into a scanning set, and sends the scanning set to the network device 305. After receiving the scanning set, the network device 105 queries the category of the at least one wireless access point based on the identification information. And sends the identification information of the wireless access point successfully queried to the category and the corresponding category to the terminal device 302. The user a selects a certain wireless access point from the identification information of the wireless access points successfully queried to the category to establish network connection with the terminal device 302.
The method provided by the embodiment of the application firstly determines the neighbor wireless access point of the wireless access point to be processed; then according to the access point information of the neighbor wireless access points and the access point information of the wireless access points to be processed, identifying neighbor wireless access points similar to the wireless access points to be processed, and determining the number of the similar neighbor wireless access points; and finally, when the number exceeds a preset threshold value, determining the category of the wireless access point to be processed corresponding to the category of the preset threshold value, so that the accuracy of acquiring the category of the wireless access point to be processed is improved.
With further reference to fig. 4, a flow 400 of yet another embodiment of a method for determining a category of a wireless access point is shown. The flow 400 of the method for determining a category of a wireless access point comprises the steps of:
step 401, a scanning set of wireless access points is obtained.
In this embodiment, an execution subject (for example, the terminal devices 101, 102, and 103 shown in fig. 1) on which the method for determining the category of the wireless access point operates may acquire the wireless access point in a wired connection manner or a wireless connection manner, and encapsulate the wireless access point into a scanning set. Wherein the scanning set comprises identification information of at least one wireless access point scanned by the terminal device.
When a user connects to a wireless access point of a certain place through the terminal devices 101, 102, 103, the terminal devices 101, 102, 103 can scan for a plurality of wireless access point information. The terminal devices 101, 102, 103 may then encapsulate the scanned multiple wireless access point information into a scanning set.
Step 402, sending the scanning set to a network device.
The terminal devices 101, 102, and 103 may send the acquired scanning set to the network device 105 in a wired or wireless manner, so that the network device 105 performs analysis according to the identification information of the wireless access point included in the scanning set. After obtaining the scanning set, the network device 105 may obtain identification information of each wireless access point in the scanning set. The network device 105 may then match the identification information of each wireless access point with historical data on the network device 105 to query the category of each of the at least one wireless access point.
Step 403, receiving the categories of at least some wireless access points in the at least one wireless access point fed back by the network device.
For at least one wireless access point, a wireless access point that is not queried for a category exists, in some embodiments, the network device 105 may regard the wireless access point as the pending wireless access point, and determine the type of the pending wireless access point through the embodiment shown in fig. 2. Alternatively, in some embodiments, the terminal device may determine the class of the wireless access point for the non-feedback class by step 404 described below.
Step 404, in response to the existence of a wireless access point of the at least one wireless access point in the category which is not fed back by the network device, identifying a similar wireless access point of the at least one wireless access point to the wireless access point in the category which is not fed back, and determining the category of the wireless access point in the category which is not fed back based on the category or the number of the similar wireless access points.
When the network device 105 cannot identify the category of some wireless access points of the at least one wireless access point, the terminal devices 101, 102, 103 may further filter out wireless access points similar to the wireless access point of the unidentified category from the wireless access points of the identified category fed back by the network device 105 in various ways (e.g., the same characters contained in the name, the signal strength, etc.). Then, the terminal device 101, 102, 103 determines the category of the wireless access point of the non-feedback category based on the category or number of similar wireless access points.
