It should be understood that the number of terminal devices, networks, and network devices in fig. 1 is merely illustrative. There may be any number of terminal devices, networks, and network devices, as desired for an implementation.
With continued reference to fig. 2, a flow 200 of one embodiment of a method for pushing access information in accordance with the present application is shown. The process 200 of the method for pushing the access information includes the following steps:
step 201, in response to receiving a wireless access point connection request sent by a terminal device, acquiring at least one target wireless access point near the terminal device.
In this embodiment, upon receiving a wireless access point connection request sent by a terminal device (e.g., terminal devices 101, 102, 103 shown in fig. 1), a network device (e.g., network device 105 shown in fig. 1) on which the method for pushing access information operates may acquire at least one target wireless access point in the vicinity of the terminal device. The network device may be a background server of the wireless access point application, which stores information of a large number of wireless access points. The information of the wireless access point may include, but is not limited to, at least one of: an identification of the wireless access point, a frequency with which the wireless access point is attempted to connect and/or successfully connects, location information of the wireless access point, a connection time of the wireless access point, a signal strength of the wireless access point, a stability of the wireless access point, a wire speed of the wireless access point. The identification of the wireless access point may be the name of the wireless access point, such as SSID (Service Set Identifier) and/or bssid (basic Service Set Identifier), etc.
In some embodiments, when a user performs a first operation on a WLAN (Wireless Local area network) option in a setting item of the terminal device or an icon of a Wireless access point class application installed on the terminal device, the terminal device may send a Wireless access point connection request to the network device. The first operation may include any operation performed on the WLAN option or the icon of the wireless access point class application, which may trigger the terminal device to send the wireless access point connection request. For example, when the user clicks on an icon of a WLAN option or a wireless access point class application, the user may be considered to have performed the first operation. The wireless access point connection request may include an identification of at least one target wireless access point in the vicinity of the terminal device or location information of the terminal device.
As an example, when a user clicks a WLAN option in a setting item of a terminal device, a wireless access point application installed on the terminal device may read a wireless access point list scanned by the terminal device, obtain an identifier of at least one wireless access point in the wireless access point list, and send the identifier to a network device; the network device can perform query based on the identifications, and obtain the wireless access point indicated by the identifications as at least one target wireless access point near the terminal device.
As another example, the preset reference area may be divided into a plurality of sub-areas, where each sub-area may include a plurality of wireless access points therein, and the network device may store information of the wireless access points in each sub-area; in some embodiments, the reference area may cover at least one administrative area or at least one country. Here, when the user clicks an icon of a wireless access point application installed on the terminal device, the terminal device may start a positioning service, obtain location information of the terminal device, and send the location information to the network device; the network device may determine a sub-area indicated by the location information of the terminal device and look up at least one wireless access point within the determined sub-area as at least one target wireless access point in the vicinity of the terminal device.
Step 202, in response to determining that at least one target wireless access point meets a preset condition, at least one reference wireless access point to which at least one reference user successfully or attempts to connect is acquired.
In this embodiment, based on the at least one target wireless access point obtained in step 201, the network device may determine whether the at least one target wireless access point satisfies a preset condition, and in a case that the preset condition is satisfied, obtain at least one reference wireless access point to which the at least one reference user has succeeded or attempted to connect within a certain time period (for example, the first three months).
In some embodiments, the at least one reference user may comprise a portion of users randomly selected from among registered users of the wireless access point class application; and may also include at least one user attempting to connect to at least one target wireless access point that was not successfully connected. For example, the reference user may be a user who has attempted to connect to at least one target wireless access point that has not been successfully connected within the last three months.
In some embodiments, the preset condition may be various conditions set in advance, and the specific content of the preset condition is not limited herein. As an example, the preset condition may include that there is at least one target wireless access point that is not successfully connected among the at least one target wireless access point, and there is no target wireless access point that is successfully connected among the at least one target wireless access point or the number of target wireless access points that are successfully connected is less than a preset threshold (e.g., less than 2).
In some embodiments, the network device may determine whether the target wireless access point is an unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point or a successfully connected target wireless access point in a number of ways.
As an example, the network device may determine whether the connection time in the information of the target wireless access point is empty; if the connection time is null, the target wireless access point is a target wireless access point which is not successfully connected; if the connection time is not null, it indicates that the target wireless access point is a successfully connected target wireless access point.
As another example, when a terminal device installed with a wireless access point class application successfully connects to a wireless access point, the terminal device may generate a connection record including an identification of the wireless access point and send to the network device for storage. In this way, the network device may look up in a locally stored connection record based on the identity of the target wireless access point; if the connection record including the identification of the target wireless access point does not exist in the locally stored connection record, the target wireless access point is the target wireless access point which is not successfully connected; if the connection record including the identification of the target wireless access point exists in the locally stored connection record, it indicates that the target wireless access point is a successfully connected target wireless access point.
In some embodiments, when a terminal device installed with a wireless access point class application succeeds or attempts to connect to a wireless access point, the terminal device may generate a successful or attempted connection record including an identification of the wireless access point and a user identification, and send to the network device for storage. In this way, the network device may first perform a lookup in a locally stored successful or attempted connection record based on the reference user identifier, and obtain at least one successful or attempted connection record including the reference user identifier; then extracting the identification of at least one reference wireless access point from the obtained at least one successful or attempted connection record; the at least one reference wireless access point may finally be located based on the identification of the at least one reference wireless access point.
Step 203, one or more reference wireless access points are selected from the at least one reference wireless access point.
In this embodiment, based on the at least one reference wireless access point obtained in step 202, the network device may select one or more reference wireless access points from the at least one reference wireless access point. Wherein the selected reference wireless access point is similar to one or more of the at least one target wireless access point. As an example, the network device may select one or more reference wireless access points that are similar or named similar to location information of one or more of the at least one target wireless access point.
And step 204, pushing the selected access information of the reference wireless access point to the terminal equipment.
In this embodiment, based on the selected reference wireless access point in step 203, the network device may push access information of the selected reference wireless access point to the terminal device. The terminal device may attempt to connect to a nearby target wireless access point using the access information of the selected reference wireless access point. The access information may be information for accessing the wireless access point, such as a password, an authentication code, and the like.
In some embodiments, the network device may prioritize the access information of the selected reference wireless access point and push the prioritized access information to the terminal device. The terminal device may attempt to connect to the target wireless access point corresponding to the access information using the access information in order from high to low in priority. The target wireless access point corresponding to the access information may be a target wireless access point similar to the reference wireless access point to which the access information belongs. As an example, the network device may first perform a comprehensive evaluation on the connection power, signal strength, stability, network speed, and the like of the target wireless access point corresponding to the access information, so as to obtain a comprehensive score of the target wireless access point corresponding to the access information, where generally, the higher the connection power of the wireless access point is, the stronger the signal strength is, the higher the stability is, and the faster the network speed is, the higher the comprehensive score is; and then setting priority to the access information corresponding to the target wireless access point according to the value of the comprehensive score, wherein generally, the higher the comprehensive score of the wireless access point is, the higher the priority of the corresponding access information is.
In some embodiments of the present application, a method for pushing access information includes first, in a case where a wireless access point connection request sent by a terminal device is received, acquiring at least one target wireless access point near the terminal device; then, under the condition that at least one target wireless access point is determined to meet a preset condition, at least one reference wireless access point which is successfully or attempted to be connected by at least one reference user is obtained; then, selecting one or more reference wireless access points similar to one or more target wireless access points in the at least one target wireless access point from the at least one reference wireless access point; and finally, pushing the selected access information of the reference wireless access point to the terminal equipment. Therefore, the access information of the wireless access points similar to the wireless access points nearby the user is pushed for the user, the wireless access points nearby the user are connected by using the access information of the wireless access points similar to the wireless access points nearby the user, and the probability that the user successfully connects the wireless access points is improved. Further, in some embodiments, obtaining a reference wireless access point by successfully or attempting to connect to a connection history of a reference user that has passed a current wireless access point facilitates more accurate location to a suitable reference wireless access point.
With further reference to fig. 3, a flow 300 of yet another embodiment of a method for pushing access information is shown. The process 300 of the method for pushing access information includes the following steps:
step 301, in response to receiving a wireless access point connection request sent by a terminal device, acquiring at least one target wireless access point near the terminal device.
Step 302, in response to determining that at least one target wireless access point meets a preset condition, at least one reference wireless access point to which at least one reference user successfully or attempts to connect is acquired.
The preset condition may include that at least one target wireless access point which is not successfully connected exists in the at least one target wireless access point, and the target wireless access point which is successfully connected does not exist in the at least one target wireless access point or the number of the target wireless access points which are successfully connected is less than a preset threshold.
Step 303, calculating the similarity between the identity of at least one unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point and the identity of at least one reference wireless access point.
In this embodiment, based on the at least one reference wireless access point obtained in step 302, the network device may employ a plurality of text similarity calculation methods to calculate the similarity between the identifier of the at least one unsuccessfully connected wireless access point and the identifier of the at least one reference wireless access point. The text similarity calculation method may include, but is not limited to, an Edit Distance (Edit Distance) algorithm, a cosine similarity (cosine similarity) algorithm, a Jaccard similarity calculation method, and the like. The edit distance, also called Levenshtein distance, refers to the minimum number of edit operations required to change one character string into another character string. Permitted editing operations include replacing one character with another, inserting one character, and deleting one character. Generally, the smaller the edit distance, the greater the similarity of two character strings.
In some embodiments, for each of the at least one reference wireless access point, the network device may first calculate an edit distance of the identity of the reference wireless access point and the identity of the at least one unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point; similarity between the identity of the reference wireless access point and the identity of at least one unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point is then determined based on the calculated edit distance. As an example, the network device may sequentially calculate and obtain the edit distance of the identity of the reference wireless access point and the identity of each of the at least one unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point, thereby determining a similarity between the identity of the reference wireless access point and the identity of each of the at least one unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point.
And step 304, selecting one or more reference wireless access points from the at least one reference wireless access point based on the calculated similarity.
In this embodiment, based on the similarity calculated in step 303, the network device may select one or more reference wireless access points from the at least one reference wireless access point. In general, the more similar the identity of the unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point to the identity of the corresponding reference wireless access point, the greater the probability that the terminal device successfully connects the unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point using the access information of the reference wireless access point. For example, the identifiers and passwords of the wireless access points arranged in a plurality of branch stores of the same store may be the same or similar, and therefore, when the user enters one branch store and the network device does not yet store the access information of the wireless access point arranged in the branch store, the access information of the wireless access points arranged in other branch stores can be obtained as the access information of the wireless access point of the branch store by the method of the above embodiment and provided to the terminal device; for another example, a store may modify the identity of a wireless access point located within the store to another similar identity (e.g., modify the identity from "XXX store 1" to "XXX store 2"), but still use the original password, for which case the network device re-associates the original password with the modified identity and provides it to the terminal device by the method of the above-described embodiment.
In some embodiments, the similarity of the identity of each of the selected one or more reference wireless access points to the identity of at least one of the at least one unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point is greater than a preset similarity threshold. In some embodiments, the network device may sequentially compare the similarity between the identity of each of the at least one reference wireless access point and the identity of each of the at least one unsuccessfully connected target wireless access point to a preset similarity threshold; and then selecting the reference wireless access points with the similarity larger than a preset similarity threshold from the at least one reference wireless access point.
In some embodiments, the network device may first rank the at least one reference wireless access point in order of similarity size; then, a preset number of reference wireless access points are selected from the side with the large similarity.
Step 305, pushing the access information of the selected reference wireless access point to the terminal device.
In this embodiment, based on the selected reference wireless access point in step 304, the network device may push access information of the selected reference wireless access point to the terminal device. The terminal device may attempt to connect to a nearby target wireless access point using the access information of the selected reference wireless access point. The access information may be information for accessing the wireless access point, such as a password, an authentication code, and the like. In some embodiments, in step 305, the network device pushes the access information of the selected reference wireless access point to the terminal device together with the identification of the target wireless access point similar to the reference wireless access point, so that the terminal device uses the access information of the reference wireless access point to attempt to connect to the target wireless access point similar to the reference wireless access point.
In some embodiments, the process 300 may further include the step 302': and in response to determining that at least one successfully connected target wireless access point exists in the at least one target wireless access point, pushing access information of the at least one successfully connected target wireless access point to the terminal equipment.
In this embodiment, based on the at least one target wireless access point obtained in step 301, the network device may determine whether there is at least one target wireless access point that is successfully connected in the at least one target wireless access point; in the case that at least one successfully connected target wireless access point exists, pushing access information of the at least one successfully connected target wireless access point to the terminal equipment
In some embodiments, the network device may prioritize the access information of the selected reference wireless access point and push the prioritized access information to the terminal device. Generally, the access information of the successfully connected target wireless access point is prioritized over the access information of the reference wireless access point. Here, the network device may further perform a comprehensive evaluation on the information of the successfully connected target wireless access points, and set a specific priority to the access information of at least one successfully connected target wireless access point according to the level of the comprehensive score.
In some embodiments, the step of pushing the access information of the reference wireless access point to the terminal device in step 305 and the step of pushing the access information of the successfully connected target wireless access point to the terminal device in step 302' may be performed simultaneously.
As can be seen from fig. 3, compared with the embodiment corresponding to fig. 2, the flow 300 of the method for pushing access information in the present embodiment highlights the step of selecting the reference wireless access point. Therefore, the scheme described in this embodiment may select a reference wireless access point with a higher similarity to the identifier of the unsuccessfully connected wireless access point, and attempt to connect to the unsuccessfully connected wireless access point by using the access information of the reference wireless access point with a higher similarity to the identifier of the unsuccessfully connected wireless access point, thereby further improving the probability that the terminal device successfully connects to the wireless access point.
With further reference to fig. 4, a flow 400 of one embodiment of a method for connecting a wireless access point is shown. The process 400 of the method for connecting to a wireless access point includes the steps of:
step 401, a wireless access point connection request is sent to a network device.
In this embodiment, a terminal device (e.g., terminal devices 101, 102, 103 shown in fig. 1) on which the method for connecting a wireless access point operates may transmit a wireless access point connection request to a network device (e.g., network device 105 shown in fig. 1) through a wired connection or a wireless connection. The wireless access point connection request may include an identifier of at least one target wireless access point in the vicinity of the terminal device or location information of the terminal device.
In some embodiments, when the user performs a first operation on a WLAN option in a setting item of the terminal device or an icon of a wireless access point class application installed on the terminal device, the terminal device may transmit a wireless access point connection request to the network device. The first operation may include any operation performed on the WLAN option or the icon of the wireless access point class application, which may trigger the terminal device to send the wireless access point connection request. For example, when the user clicks on an icon of a WLAN option or a wireless access point class application, the user may be considered to have performed the first operation.
As an example, when a user clicks a WLAN option in a setting item of a terminal device, a wireless access point application installed on the terminal device may read a wireless access point list scanned by the terminal device, obtain an identifier of at least one wireless access point in the wireless access point list, and send a wireless access point connection request including the identifier to a network device.
As another example, when a user clicks an icon of a wireless access point application installed on a terminal device, the terminal device may start a location service, obtain location information of the terminal device, and send a wireless access point connection request including the location information of the terminal device to a network device.
Step 402, obtaining an access information set from a network device, the access information set including at least one access information provided by the network device. In some embodiments, the set of access information further includes an identification of a target wireless access point to which the access information in the set of access information corresponds.
In this embodiment, after receiving the wireless access point connection request sent by the terminal device, the network device may analyze, for example, an identifier of at least one target wireless access point near the terminal device or location information of the terminal device in the wireless access point connection request, and return a corresponding access information set. The access information may be information for accessing the wireless access point, such as a password, an authentication code, and the like. The access information set may include access information of successfully connected target wireless access points of the at least one target wireless access point; access information for a reference wireless access point that is similar to one or more of the at least one target wireless access point may also be included; the two kinds of access information can be included at the same time. In some embodiments, the access information set includes the access information of the reference wireless access point and the identification of the target wireless access point corresponding to the access information (i.e., the target wireless access point similar to the reference wireless access point), but does not include the identification of the reference wireless access point.
And step 403, in response to the access information set including the access information of the reference wireless access point similar to one or more target wireless access points in at least one nearby target wireless access point, repeating the step of attempting to connect the target wireless access point corresponding to the access information by using the access information in the access information set until all access information in the access information set or the successfully connected wireless access points are attempted.
In some embodiments, in the case that the set of access information includes access information of a reference wireless access point similar to one or more of the at least one nearby target wireless access point, the terminal device may repeat the step of attempting to connect the target wireless access point corresponding to the access information using the access information in the set of access information until successful connection of the wireless access point or access information in the set of access information is all attempted. The target wireless access point corresponding to the access information may be a target wireless access point similar to the reference wireless access point to which the access information belongs.
In some embodiments, each piece of access information in the access information set acquired by the terminal device from the network device may be provided with a priority, and the terminal device may attempt to connect to a target wireless access point corresponding to the access information by using the access information in sequence according to the priority from high to low.
In some embodiments, if there is at least one successfully connected target wireless access point in the at least one target wireless access point, the access information set may further include access information of the at least one successfully connected target wireless access point. At this time, the terminal device may repeat the step of attempting to connect the successfully connected target wireless access point corresponding to the access information by using the access information of at least one successfully connected target wireless access point in the access information set until the access information of the successfully connected wireless access point or at least one successfully connected target wireless access point is all attempted; if the wireless access point is not successfully connected by using the access information of at least one successfully connected target wireless access point, the terminal device may repeat the step of attempting to connect the target wireless access point corresponding to the access information by using the access information of the reference wireless access point in the access information set until the access information of the successfully connected wireless access point or the reference wireless access point in the access information set is completely attempted.
In some embodiments, each access information in the access information set acquired by the terminal device from the network device may be provided with a priority, and in general, the access information of the successfully connected target wireless access point has a higher priority than the access information of the reference wireless access point.
Some embodiments of the present application provide a method for connecting a wireless access point, first, sending a wireless access point connection request to a network device; then, obtaining an access information set from the network equipment; finally, in case the access information set comprises access information of a reference wireless access point similar to one or more of the at least one target wireless access point in the vicinity, the step of attempting to connect the target wireless access point corresponding to the access information using the access information in the access information set is repeated until a successful connection of the wireless access point or the access information in the access information set is attempted in its entirety. Therefore, the access information of the wireless access points similar to the wireless access points near the user is used for connecting the wireless access points near the user, and the probability that the user successfully connects the wireless access points is improved.
