Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of seal testing, in particular to a floating seal mechanism for a multi-port connector and a seal testing jig.
Background
The multi-port connector is a plastic injection molding piece, the dimensional tolerance is relatively large, each connector needs to be sealed when in sealing test, in the prior art, the connector is usually directly sealed through a sealing ring, a certain pressing force is needed for sealing the sealing ring, and the multi-port connector is easy to damage when the pressing force is too large.

The positioning mechanism 200 of the embodiment is designed correspondingly according to the shape of the product 300 to be sealed, two ends of the first positioning piece 22 are arranged obliquely, and a plurality of corresponding mounting grooves are arranged in the middle of the first positioning piece 22; the second positioning pieces 23 comprise two symmetrically distributed, and the upper surfaces of the second positioning pieces 23 are arranged in a step shape; the third positioning piece 24 is correspondingly provided with a plurality of positioning holes. The test product 300 to be sealed can be fixed on the positioning base 21 by the first positioning member 22, the second positioning member 23, and the third positioning member 24.
The floating seal mechanism 10 according to the present invention will be described in detail below.
Referring to fig. 4 to 7, the floating seal mechanism 10 in the present embodiment includes:
a base body 101, wherein a floating space 1011 is arranged in the base body 101, and an accommodating groove 1012 is arranged on the outer side of the base body 101;
a seal ring 102 fixedly mounted in the receiving groove 1012 of the base 101;
The ball head floating rod 103 comprises a ball head 1031 and a floating rod 1032, and the ball head 1031 is arranged in the floating space 1011 of the base body 101 in a floating manner;
An elastic member 104 (such as a spring, etc.), the elastic member 104 is sleeved on the floating rod 1032;
in the floating seal mechanism 10, the ball 1031 freely floats in the floating space 1011 by controlling the compression amount of the elastic member 104 by the pressing force at the time of sealing.
Preferably, in this embodiment, a mounting portion 1033 is provided between the ball head 1031 and the floating rod 1032, the ball head mounting seat 105 is fixedly mounted on the base 101, and the ball head 1031 is floatingly mounted in the floating space 1011 through the mounting portion 1033 and the ball head mounting seat 105.
In addition, a guide bush 1034 is fixedly mounted on the floating rod 1032, one end of the elastic member 104 is fixedly mounted on the ball mounting seat 105, and the other end is fixedly mounted on the guide bush 1034.

When the sealing test fixture performs sealing test, firstly, a product 300 (multi-port connector) to be sealed is placed into the positioning mechanism 200 for positioning, then the sealing pressing mechanism 100 is moved to a designated position, and the floating sealing mechanism 10 is driven by the sealing pressing mechanism to self-adaptively complete sealing.
The technical scheme shows that the invention has the following beneficial effects:
the floating sealing mechanism can meet the independent sealing of a single connector port, the pressing force is independently adjusted, and the floating sealing mechanism is suitable for the characteristic of large dimensional tolerance of products;

4. A floating seal mechanism as claimed in claim 3 wherein the end of the floating rod is fixedly secured to a floating rod securing portion and the guide sleeve is fixedly secured to the floating rod securing portion.
5. The floating seal mechanism of claim 1 wherein the floating space on the base is a combination of a circular table and a cylindrical surface.
6. The floating seal mechanism of claim 1 wherein said base has a plurality of plugs fixedly mounted thereon.
