Background
The insulator is a common insulating facility on the transmission tower and is divided into a tension insulator and a post insulator according to the installation modes of the insulator. When the insulator is overhauled and replaced in daily, the wire clamping device is required to be connected to the wire end, so that the insulator cannot be kept horizontal with the steel wire rope, a worker on the tower is required to stretch out of the body, the insulator is pulled to a wire hanging point by two hands, another worker is required to connect the insulator with the wire hanging point at the cross arm of the pole tower by bolts, the operation time is long, the labor intensity of the worker is high, and the danger coefficient is high.

3. The two ends of the insulator are detached from the cross arm and the wire, then the insulator is detached from the fixed anchor ear 7, a new insulator is replaced, and the two ends of the new insulator are respectively connected with the cross arm and the wire;
4. Holding the driving handle 8-2, drawing out the fixing pin 8-4 on the clamping groove 8-1, rotating the driving handle 8-2 clockwise to drive the adjusting gear 8-3, lengthening the distance between the connecting angle iron I2 and the connecting angle iron II2-1, recovering the lead, tensioning the insulator, and detaching the U-shaped hanging ring I1 and the U-shaped hanging ring II5 from the traction steel wire rope and the wire clamping device on the cross arm to finish the replacement operation.
