画素结构及显示装置
技术领域
本发明涉及一种画素结构及显示装置,特别是涉及一种可以增大可视角,减少漏光,提高显示品质的画素结构及显示装置。
背景技术
高分子安定化垂直配向技术(Polymer Stabilized Vertical Alignment, PSVA)是在液晶材料中掺入一定量的单体化合物并震荡均匀之后经过一系列的温度变化,将液晶混合物注入CF基板与Array基板之间的液晶盒中并加压。施加电压使液晶分子排列稳定后,使用紫外光照射的方式让单体进行聚合反应生成聚合物层从而实现稳定配向。聚合物稳定配向技术的像素设计,可以使液晶分子预先形成预倾角,液晶分子会在像素电极与共享电极形成的电场作用下进行偏转,并且随着不同的像素电极形状而形成多个区域从而提高了薄膜晶体管液晶显示器(thin film transistor liquid crystal display, TFT LCD)的对比度和亮度。
然而由于电场分布不规则,像素结构的相邻区域附近和共享电极附近的液晶分子排列紊乱,导致面板漏光,液晶产生色度不足,视角表现不佳。为了减小由于液晶分子排列紊乱而漏光的原因,通常像素电极中间形成十字形开口主干,其他分支沿主干向外延伸,使得中央十字主干在像素区域均显示为暗态,减少了背光的穿透率。
发明内容
本发明所欲解决的技术问题在于针对现有技术存在的上述缺失,提供一种画素结构及显示装置,以解决上述现有技术所存在的缺失。
鉴于上述现有技术的问题,本发明提供一种画素结构包括基材单元、第一画素单元、第二画素单元、扫描单元、至少一数据单元、开关单元、遮光单元和多个电极单元。第一画素单元位于所述基材单元上,所述第一画素单元具有多个第一画素分支件,所述多个第一画素分支件由所述第一画素单元的中心处朝所述基材单元的边缘延伸。第二画素单元位于所述基材单元上,并邻近于所述第一画素单元,所述第二画素单元具有多个第二画素分支件,所述多个第二画素分支件由所述第二画素单元的中心处朝所述基材单元的边缘或所述第一画素单元的边缘延伸。扫描单元位于所述基材单元上。至少一数据单元位于所述基材单元上。开关单元电连接所述第一画素单元、所述第二画素单元、所述扫描单元和所述至少一数据单元。遮光单元位于所述第一画素单元和所述第二画素单元上。多个电极单元分别位于所述第一画素单元和所述第二画素单元上。
可选的,相邻的两个第一画素单元之间具有第一间隙,并且,相邻的两个第二画素单元之间具有第二间隙。
可选的,所述开关单元包括第一开关件和第二开关件。第一开关件电连接所述第一画素单元、所述扫描单元和所述至少一数据单元。第二开关件电连接所述第二画素单元、所述扫描单元、所述至少一数据单元和所述第一开关单元。
可选的,所述第一画素单元的边缘还具有第一外围件,连接各所述第一画素分支件邻近于所述基材单元的边缘的一端。

根据本发明的目的,本发明还提出一种显示装置,包括多个画素结构设置在基板上,各所述画素结构包括第一画素单元,第二画素单元,扫描单元,至少一数据单元,开关单元,遮光单元和多个电极单元。第一画素单元位于所述基板上,所述第一画素单元具有多个第一画素分支件,所述多个第一画素分支件由所述第一画素单元的中心处朝所述基板的边缘延伸。第二画素单元位于所述基板上,并邻近于所述第一画素单元,所述第二画素单元具有多个第二画素分支件,所述多个第二画素分支件由所述第二画素单元的中心处朝所述基板的边缘和所述第一画素单元的边缘延伸。扫描单元位于所述基板上。至少一数据单元位于所述基板上。开关单元电连接所述第一画素单元、所述第二画素单元、所述扫描单元和所述至少一数据单元。遮光单元位于所述第一画素单元和所述第二画素单元上。多个电极单元,分别位于所述第一画素单元和所述第二画素单元上。
承上所述,本发明的画素结构及显示装置提出一新的增大视角,提升开口率的画素结构,通过采用第一画素单元、第二画素单元将整个基材单元分成多个区域,实现广视角,减小色偏;并且,透过用不同的方式将十字的液晶导向紊乱的地方进行处理,减少漏光,同时可以在一定程度上提升开口率。

请参阅图1及图2,分别为本发明的画素结构的一实施例的第一结构示意图及第二结构示意图。如图所示,画素结构10包括基材单元100、第一画素单元101、第二画素单元102、扫描单元103、至少一数据单元104、开关单元105、遮光单元106和多个电极单元107。第一画素单元101位于所述基材单元100上,所述第一画素单元101具有多个第一画素分支件101A,所述多个第一画素分支件101A由所述第一画素单元101的中心处朝所述基材单元100的边缘延伸。第二画素单元102位于所述基材单元100上,并邻近于所述第一画素单元101,所述第二画素单元102具有多个第二画素分支件102A,所述多个第二画素分支件102A由所述第二画素单元102的中心处朝所述基材单元100的边缘或所述第一画素单元101的边缘延伸。扫描单元103位于所述基材单元100上。至少一数据单元104位于所述基材单元100上。开关单元105电连接所述第一画素单元101、所述第二画素单元102、所述扫描单元103和所述至少一数据单元104。遮光单元106位于所述第一画素单元101和所述第二画素单元102上。多个电极单元107分别位于所述第一画素单101元和所述第二画素单102元上。
具体来说,本发明的画素结构10包括了基材单元100、第一画素单元101、第二画素单元102、扫描单元103、至少一数据单元104、开关单元105、遮光单元106和多个电极单元107。基材单元100可为玻璃、石英、有机聚合物、或是不透光/反射材料,例如:导电材料、晶圆、陶瓷、或其它可适用的材料。第一画素单元101和第二画素单元102可为透明导电层,其包括金属氧化物,例如是铟锡氧化物、铟锌氧化物、铝锡氧化物、铝锌氧化物、铟锗锌氧化物、或其它合适的氧化物、或者是上述至少二者的堆栈层。扫描单元103和至少一数据单元104可为一般金属材料,也可以使用其它导电材料,例如:合金、金属材料的氮化物、金属材料的氧化物、金属材料的氮氧化物、或是金属材料与其它导材料的堆栈层。开关单元105可为薄膜晶体管。遮光单元106可为金属导线。
进一步来说,第一画素单元101和第二画素单元102竖直地排列在基材单元100上,第一画素单元101和第二画素单元102之间具有间隙,第一画素单元101包括多个第一画素分支件101A,由第一画素单元101的中心处朝基材单元100的边缘、或第二画素单元102的边缘延伸。相对地,第二画素单元102位于基材单元100上,并邻近于第一画素单元101,第二画素单元102也包括多个第二画素分支件102A,由第二画素单元102的中心处朝基材单元100的边缘、或第一画素单元101的边缘延伸,如图中所示,多个第一画素分支件101A和多个第二画素分支件102A分别以θ1、θ2、θ3、θ4(45、135、225、315度)等角度由中心区域向外延伸,其中,图中坐标轴的X轴平行于十字虚线的水平虚线和扫描单元103,坐标轴的Y轴则平行于十字虚线的垂直虚线和数据单元104。而且,相邻的两个第一画素单元101A之间具有第一间隙a1,相邻的两个第二画素单元102A之间也具有第二间隙a2,并且,至少一部分的第一画素分支件101A彼此交错连接,并形成折线型图像;相对地,至少一部分的第二画素分支件102A彼此交错连接,也形成折线型图像,如图1中十字虚线的水平虚线中所示。扫描单元103和数据单元104相互垂直地位于基材单元100上,在本实施例中,数据单元104是以多个作为举例,但不以此为限。开关单元105电连接到第一画素单元101、第二画素单元102、扫描单元103和数据单元104。而遮光单元106位于第一画素单元101和第二画素单元102上,并对应于十字虚线的垂直虚线,其中,遮光单元106由第一画素单元101远离第二画素单元102的一端,朝第二画素单元102远离第一画素单元101的一端延伸形成,并穿过第二画素单元102,如图1所示。多个电极单元107则分别位于第一画素单101元和第二画素单102元上,并对应十字虚线的水平虚线。
由此,本发明的画素结构10采用第一画素单元101和第二画素单元102将整个基材单元100上的画素区域分成多个区域,实现广视角,减小色偏。
在另一实施态样中,本发明的开关单元105包括第一开关件105A和第二开关件105B。第一开关件105A和第二开关件105B可为薄膜晶体管。第一开关件105A电连接第一画素单元101、扫描单元103和数据单元104。第二开关件105B则电连接第二画素单元102、扫描单元103、数据单元104和第一开关单元105A。
并且,在此实施态样中,遮光单元106可由第一画素单元101远离第二画素单元102的一端,朝第二画素单元102的中心延伸形成,并且,遮光单元106未完全穿过第二画素单元102,如图2所示。而遮光单元106为遮蔽第二画素单元102的剩余部分可采用其他与导线等宽度的非金属遮光材料进行遮光。
由此,本发明的画素结构10中的第一开关件105A和第二开关件105B电连接,遮光单元106与第一画素单元101之间电容的存在可以使得第一画素单元101与第二画素单元102具有不同的电压,实现液晶多方向偏转,增大视角。遮光单元106通过过孔给第一画素单元101与第二画素单元102供电。并且、用不同的方式将十字的液晶导向紊乱的地方进行处理,减少漏光,同时可以在一定程度上提升开口率。
请参阅图3,为本发明的画素结构又一实施例的结构示意图,并请一并参阅图1及图2。如图所示,本实施例中的画素结构与上述实施例的画素结构所述的相同组件的作动方式相似,在此不再赘述。然而,值得一提的是,在本实施例中,第一画素单元101的边缘还具有第一外围件101B,连接各第一画素分支件101A邻近于基材单元100的边缘的一端。可选的,相邻的两个第一画素分支件101A的另一端彼此不相连接。相对地,第二画素单元102的边缘还具有第二外围件102B,连接各第二画素分支件102A邻近于基材单元100的边缘或第一画素单元101的边缘的一端。可选的,相邻的两个第二画素分支件102A的另一端彼此不相连接。
举例来说,本发明的画素结构10中的第一画素单元101和第二画素单元102,对应十字虚线部分的相邻的两个第一画素分支件101A的另一端和相邻的两个第一画素分支件101A的另一端,彼此不相连接。并且,本发明的画素结构10进一步还在第二画素单元102和遮光单元106与电极单元107的重叠处设计开口部102C。
由此,本发明的画素结构10通过将十字虚线部分进行挖空设计,并通过将第一画素单元101和第二画素单元102周围部将分支连接,以实现液晶导向变为由内向外,因此,可以很大程度上减小像素电极中间十字的暗纹区域,同时不需要再进行遮光,减少了漏光的风险的同时,极大的增加了开口率。
复请参阅图1至图3,本发明还提出一种显示装置,包括多个画素结构和基板,画素结构可如同前述各实施例所述的画素结构10,基板则可等同前述各实施例所述的基材单元100,因此,在此不再特别说明。
以上所述仅为举例性,而非为限制性。任何未脱离本发明的精神与范畴,而对其进行的等效修改或变更,均应包含在所附的权利要求书中。

Claims (10)

1.一种画素结构,其特征在于,包括:
基材单元;
第一画素单元,位于所述基材单元上,所述第一画素单元具有多个第一画素分支件,所述多个第一画素分支件由所述第一画素单元的中心处朝所述基材单元的边缘延伸;
第二画素单元,位于所述基材单元上,并邻近于所述第一画素单元,所述第二画素单元具有多个第二画素分支件,所述多个第二画素分支件由所述第二画素单元的中心处朝所述基材单元的边缘或所述第一画素单元的边缘延伸;
扫描单元,位于所述基材单元上;
至少一数据单元,位于所述基材单元上;
开关单元,电连接所述第一画素单元、所述第二画素单元、所述扫描单元和所述至少一数据单元;
遮光单元,位于所述第一画素单元和所述第二画素单元上;以及
多个电极单元,分别位于所述第一画素单元和所述第二画素单元上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的画素结构,其特征在于,相邻的两个第一画素单元之间具有第一间隙,并且,相邻的两个第二画素单元之间具有第二间隙。
3.根据权利要求1所述的画素结构,其特征在于,所述开关单元包括:
第一开关件,电连接所述第一画素单元、所述扫描单元和所述至少一数据单元;以及
第二开关件,电连接所述第二画素单元、所述扫描单元、所述至少一数据单元和所述第一开关单元。
4.根据权利要求1所述的画素结构,其特征在于,所述第一画素单元的边缘还具有第一外围件,连接各所述第一画素分支件邻近于所述基材单元的边缘的一端。
5.根据权利要求4所述的画素结构,其特征在于,相邻的两个所述第一画素分支件的另一端彼此不相连接。
6.根据权利要求1所述的画素结构,其特征在于,所述第二画素单元的边缘还具有第二外围件,连接各所述第二画素分支件邻近于所述基材单元的边缘或所述第一画素单元的边缘的一端。
7.根据权利要求6所述的画素结构,其特征在于,相邻的两个所述第二画素分支件的另一端彼此不相连接。
8.根据权利要求1所述的画素结构,其特征在于,所述第二画素单元和所述遮光单元与其中之一的所述电极单元的重叠处具有开口部。
9.根据权利要求1所述的画素结构,其特征在于,所述遮光单元由所述第一画素单元远离所述第二画素单元的一端,朝所述第二画素单元的中心延伸形成,并且,所述遮光单元未完全穿过所述第二画素单元。
10.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括:多个画素结构设置在基板上,各所述画素结构包括:
第一画素单元,位于所述基板上,所述第一画素单元具有多个第一画素分支件,所述多个第一画素分支件由所述第一画素单元的中心处朝所述基板的边缘延伸;
第二画素单元,位于所述基板上,并邻近于所述第一画素单元,所述第二画素单元具有多个第二画素分支件,所述多个第二画素分支件由所述第二画素单元的中心处朝所述基板的边缘和所述第一画素单元的边缘延伸;
扫描单元,位于所述基板上;
至少一数据单元,位于所述基板上;
开关单元,电连接所述第一画素单元、所述第二画素单元、所述扫描单元和所述至少一数据单元;
遮光单元,位于所述第一画素单元和所述第二画素单元上;以及
多个电极单元,分别位于所述第一画素单元和所述第二画素单元上。
