用于输送气体、卫生设施和供水的管子可以由例如双峰聚乙烯组合物生产。管子对水具有非常好的耐受性,但是当管子与经常由于卫生原因而加入水中的杀菌剂接触时它们的寿命会缩短。在水中用作杀菌剂的二氧化氯会使包括聚乙烯在内的大多数材料降解(Colin,Aging of poly ethylene pipes transporting drinking waterdisinfected bychlorine dioxide,part I,Chemical aspects;Polymer engineering and Science 49(7);1429-1437;July 2009)。其它含氯溶剂例如有氯胺和氯。在现有技术中已知采用添加剂如抗氧化剂和稳定剂来防止所述的降解。提出了几类添加剂在处理过程中保护聚合物和达到想要的最终使用特性。但必须根据聚合制品应该具有的所需最终特性仔细选择稳定剂的适当组合。
本发明的目的是提供服务寿命改进的管子用途,所述管子用于输送包含含氯杀菌剂如二氧化氯、氯胺和氯气的水。
本发明的管子用包含聚乙烯和硫化锌的聚合物组合物生产。
基于这种聚合物组合物的饮用水管、优选压力管对于含二氧化氯的冷水或热水具有改进的保护作用,并因此有更长的使用寿命。也可以用于输送废水或用于冷却的水。
按照本发明的更优选的实施方案,所述管子用包含如下的组合物生产:
(a)聚乙烯
(b)硫化锌
(c)多酚化合物,和/或
(d)有机亚磷酸酯和/或亚膦酸酯,
其中(b):(c+d)的重量比为7:1-1:7。
聚乙烯可以选自多峰聚乙烯例如双峰或三峰聚乙烯。
所述聚烯烃优选为双峰聚乙烯。
合适的多酚化合物包括例如四[亚甲基-3-(3',5'-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸酯]甲烷、1,1,3-三(2-甲基-4-羟基-5-叔-丁基苯基)丁烷、1,3,5-三甲基-2,4,6-三(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯甲基)苯、二(3,3-二(4′-羟基-3′-叔-丁基苯基)丁酸]-乙二醇酯、三(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯甲基)异氰酸酯、1,3,5-三(4-叔丁基-2,6-二甲基-3-羟基-苯甲基)异氰酸酯、5-二叔丁基-4-羟基-氢化肉桂酸与1,3,5-三(2-羟基乙基)-s-三嗪-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-三酮的三酯、对甲酚/二环戊二烯的丁烯化反应产物、2,6-二(2′-二-羟基-3′-叔丁基-5′-甲基-苯基-4-甲基-苯酚)。
优选的多酚化合物为1,3,5-三甲基-2,4,6-三(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯甲基)苯(由BASF提供的Irganox 1330)。
合适的有机亚磷酸酯和亚膦酸酯包括例如三苯基亚磷酸酯、二苯基烷基亚磷酸酯、苯基二烷基亚磷酸酯、三(壬基苯基)亚磷酸酯、三月桂酰亚磷酸酯、三(十八烷基)亚磷酸酯、二硬脂酰季戊四醇二亚磷酸酯、三(2,4-二-叔-丁基苯基)亚磷酸酯、二异癸基季戊四醇二亚磷酸酯、二(2,4-二-叔-丁基苯基)季戊四醇二磷酸酯、二(2,6-二-叔丁基-4-甲基苯基)季戊四醇二磷酸酯、二异癸基氧-季戊四醇二亚磷酸酯、二(2,4-二-叔丁基-6-甲基苯基)季戊四醇二亚磷酸酯、二(2,4,6-三-叔-丁基苯基)季戊四醇二亚磷酸酯、三硬脂酰山梨糖醇三亚磷酸酯、四(2,4-二-叔-丁基苯基)4,4'-二亚苯基二亚膦酸酯、6-异辛氧基-2,4,8,10-四-叔丁基-12H-二苯并[d,g]-1,3,2-二氧磷杂八环、6-氟-2,4,8,10-四-叔丁基-12-甲基二苯并[d,g]-1,3,2-二氧磷杂八环、二(2,4-二-叔丁基-6-甲基苯基)甲基亚磷酸酯、二(2,4-二-叔丁基-6-甲基苯基)乙基亚磷酸酯。
优选的亚磷酸酯为三(2,4-二-叔-丁基苯基)亚磷酸酯(由BASF提供的Irgafos168)。
按照本发明的另一个优选的实施方案,所述管子由包含如下的组合物生产:
(a)多峰聚乙烯
(b)硫化锌
(c)多酚化合物
(d)有机亚磷酸酯和/或亚膦酸酯
其中(b):(c+d)的重量比为7:1-1:7。
(b)、(c)和(d)优选在多峰如双峰高密度聚乙烯粉末的造粒步骤中加入。
按照本发明的优选实施方案,当聚乙烯在挤出过程中处于熔融状态时向聚乙烯树脂中加入各组分。
各组分可以一起加入,也可以单独加入。
优选在一个步骤中加入各组分。
优选在组合物中烯烃聚合物的量大于95.0wt%。
优选在组合物中硫化锌的量小于2.0wt%。
该量更优选小于1.0wt%。
该量最优选为0.05-0.9wt%。
这些量保护管子在长时间内不受二氧化氯影响。
多峰乙烯聚合物可以为乙烯均聚物或共聚物。
在管子应用途中施用的多峰乙烯等级可以包含添加剂例如碳黑、颜料、硬脂酸、UV稳定剂如空间受阻胺、填料、矿物质、润滑剂和/或其它稳定剂。
用于双峰高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)的生产方法在“PE 100 Pipe systems”(由Bromstrup编辑,第二版,ISBN 3-8027-2728-2)的第16-20页进行了总结。
通过低压浆液法生产双峰高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)在Alt等人的“Bimodalpolyethylene-Interplay of catalyst and process”(Macromol.Symp.2001,163,135-143)中进行了描述。双峰高密度聚乙烯可以由用于生产的低压浆液法生产,包括聚合步骤、粉料干燥步骤、挤出和粒料处理步骤、循环步骤和蜡脱除单元。在两级串级工艺中,可以为反应器连续进料单体、氢气、催化剂/助催化剂和由工艺循环的稀释剂的混合物。在反应器中,在例如0.5-1MPa(5-10bar)的压力和75-88℃的温度下作为放热反应发生乙烯聚合。聚合反应的热量通过冷却水脱除。聚乙烯的特性尤其由催化剂系统以及催化剂、共聚单体和氢气的浓度决定。通过低压浆液法生产双峰高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)也可以通过三步法实施。
两级串级工艺的概念在Alt等人的“Bimodal polyethylene-Interplay ofcatalyst and process”(Macromol.Symp.2001,163)的第137-138页进行了描述。按具有不同条件的串级设置反应器,在每一反应器中包括比后一反应器中低的氢含量。这允许生产具有双峰分子量分布和在聚乙烯链中有确定的共聚单体含量的HDPE。
用于生产多峰聚乙烯的合适催化剂包括Ziegler Natta催化剂、铬基催化剂和单位点茂金属催化剂。在所有潜在的可能技术中,工艺和催化剂必须形成完好平衡的系统。这种催化剂对于多峰聚乙烯的聚合反应来说是关键的。通过工艺和催化剂的配合,产生确定的聚合物结构。
通过如下非限定性实施例描述本发明。
实施例
在所有实施例中用作基础聚合物的SABIC Vestolen A5924(Resin A)是MFR5为0.24g/10min和密度为958kg/m3的双峰高密度聚乙烯。
实施例I和对比例A-C
实施例I和对比例A-B应用与树脂A组合的不同添加剂包来保护聚乙烯不受二氧化氯攻击(参见表1)。表1所示的组分应用双螺杆挤出机在245℃下混合。

·Irganox 1010:四[亚甲基-3-(3',5')-二叔丁基-4'-羟基苯基)丙酸酯]甲烷,可由Ciba Speciality Chemicals商购获得,
·硫化锌:由Sachtleben获得的Sachtolith HS;
·Irganox 1330:1,3,5-三甲基-2,4,6-三(3,5-二-叔丁基-4-羟基苯甲基)苯;
·Irgafos 168:三(2,4-二-叔-丁基苯基)亚磷酸酯;
·可由Kisuma Chemicals商购的水滑石。
·树脂A:SABIC Vestolen A5924;MFR5为0.24g/10min和密度为958kg/m3的双峰高密度聚乙烯。
应用ISO1872-2压塑各化合物,得到板块,将其切割为ISO527-1A拉伸棒(4mm厚)。
老化测试
在连续水流中在温度40℃下用浓度保持为1mg/L和pH保持7.2的二氧化氯使拉伸棒老化。流率调节为200L/h。水硬度调节为20℉。在测试过程中加入连续新鲜水流,使得每4小时测试水完全更新。
将所述压塑样品老化1000小时。
对老化和未老化的拉伸棒按确定塑料拉伸特性的ISO527-1的拉伸测试在室温下以50mm/min的应变速率实施,以确定老化样品的残余断裂伸长率,并在表2中给出结果。

Claims (8)

1.用于输送水的管子,所述管子用包含聚乙烯和硫化锌的聚合物组合物生产。
2.权利要求1的管子,特征在于所述组合物包含多酚化合物和/或有机亚磷酸酯和/或亚膦酸酯。
3.权利要求1-2任一项的管子,特征在于所述聚烯烃为多峰聚乙烯。
4.权利要求3的管子,特征在于所述聚烯烃为双峰聚乙烯。
5.权利要求2-4任一项的管子,特征在于所述多酚化合物为1,3,5-三甲基-2,4,6-三(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯甲基)苯。
6.权利要求2-5任一项的管子,特征在于所述亚磷酸酯为三(2,4-二-叔-丁基苯基)亚磷酸酯。
7.权利要求1-6任一项的管子,特征在于组合物中锌盐的量少于2.0wt%。
8.权利要求1-7任一项的管子,特征在于所述组合物包含:
(a)聚乙烯
(b)硫化锌
(c)多酚化合物
(d)有机亚磷酸酯和/或亚膦酸酯
(b):(c+d)的重量比为7:1-1:7。
