According to the working principle of the automatic glue cleaning device, a power switch is connected to power supply to start the automatic glue cleaning device, a PLC control panel is used for setting and starting a first hydraulic cylinder and a third hydraulic cylinder to work to drive a clamping jaw to clamp a to-be-cleaned glue workpiece, the to-be-cleaned glue workpiece is placed on a placing plate in a placing groove through lifting of a first vertical guide rail, a vacuum pump is started to vacuumize a glue collecting barrel, a heating wire is controlled to heat the to-be-cleaned glue workpiece, glue solution on the workpiece is melted, and the melted glue solution enters the glue collecting barrel along a through hole due to the fact that the inside of the glue collecting barrel is vacuumized; in order to further remove the residual glue on the surface of the workpiece to be cleaned, the sliding block can be controlled to move on the transverse sliding rail and the longitudinal sliding rail, and the second hydraulic cylinder drives the connecting block to drive the scraper to lift and adjust the position of the scraper, so that the residual glue on the surface of the workpiece to be cleaned is further removed, and the removal is more thorough; when the workpiece to be cleaned is a dispensing needle, the dispensing needle is placed in a through hole in the placing plate, and is heated by a heating wire to melt glue on the surface of the dispensing needle, and the melted glue automatically drops into a vacuumized glue collecting barrel along with the through hole.
