Abstract
The invention discloses a waffle mode harmonic suppressor with rectangular columns, which comprises a resonant cavity, input and output waveguides and 2 or more rows of metal columns A, wherein the metal columns A are transversely arranged, and are longitudinally arranged and connected with the resonant cavity only at the bottom. The waffle mode harmonic suppressor with the rectangular columns further comprises metal columns B which correspond to each metal column A and are connected with the resonant cavity only at the top. The cross section of the metal pillar B is different from that of the metal pillar a. Each metal column A is embedded between two corresponding rectangular metal columns B. The design can effectively increase the capacitance between the corresponding metal column A and the metal column B under the condition of not reducing the gap between the corresponding metal column A and the metal column B and not obviously reducing the power capacity of the device, thereby deepening the stop band inhibition depth of the filter and expanding the stop band bandwidth of the filter, and the filter can be widely applied to radars, missile guidance and various mobile communication systems.

Technical Field
The invention relates to a microwave device, in particular to a compact high-power harmonic suppression filter.
Background
Due to the increasing strengthening of the international and domestic standards for electromagnetic compatibility, harmonic suppression of communication and military electronic systems is becoming a key technical problem. The waffle mode (wafleron) waveguide low-pass filter has low insertion loss, high power capacity and wide stop band characteristics, and is a main choice for harmonic suppression in a high-power communication system and a medium-long range radar. The traditional waffle-mode waveguide low-pass filter is composed of an array of metal columns which are vertically symmetrical and are periodically arranged along the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction. In order to deepen the harmonic suppression depth and widen the stop band width, the gap between the upper and lower corresponding metal posts needs to be reduced, thereby causing a sharp drop of the power capacity of the filter.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a compact waffle mode harmonic suppressor with rectangular columns, which increases the stopband suppression depth and widens the stopband bandwidth and improves the power capacity of a harmonic suppression filter.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the technical scheme that:
a waffle mode harmonic suppressor with rectangular columns comprises a resonant cavity, input and output waveguides and metal columns A which are arranged in 2 rows or more in the transverse direction and are connected with the resonant cavity only at the bottom in 2 columns or more in the longitudinal direction. The waffle mode harmonic suppressor with the rectangular columns also comprises metal columns B which correspond to each metal column A and are only connected with the resonant cavity at the top; the cross section of the metal pillar B is different from that of the metal pillar a. The design can effectively increase the capacitance between the corresponding metal columns A and B under the condition of not reducing the gaps between the corresponding metal columns A and B and not obviously reducing the power capacity of the device, thereby deepening the stop band rejection depth of the filter and expanding the stop band bandwidth of the filter.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the advantages of compact structure, light weight, material saving and simple structure.

Examples 1
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the waffle mode harmonic suppressor with rectangular columns comprises a resonant cavity 1, input and output waveguides 5 and 8 transverse rows and 8 longitudinal columns of metal columns A2 connected with the resonant cavity 1 only at the bottom. The waffle mode harmonic suppressor with the rectangular columns further comprises a metal column B3 corresponding to each metal column A2 and connected with the resonant cavity 1 only at the top; the cross-section of metal pillar B3 is different from the cross-section of the metal pillar a 2.
The metal columns A2 are rectangular bodies, and two rectangular metal columns B3 correspond to each metal column A2; each metal pillar a2 is embedded between two corresponding rectangular metal pillars B3. A metal pit 4 is arranged at the top of the resonant cavity 1 corresponding to each metal column A2; each metal column a2 is embedded in the metal pit 4 corresponding to it.

the metal column A (2) is embedded between the two corresponding rectangular metal columns B (3).
2. The waffle mode harmonic suppressor with rectangular columns according to claim 1, wherein a metal pit (4) is arranged at the top of the resonant cavity (1) corresponding to each metal column A (2).
3. The waffle mode harmonic suppressor with rectangular columns according to claim 2, wherein each metal column A (2) is embedded in the metal pit (4) corresponding to the metal column A.
4. The waffle mode harmonic suppressor with rectangular columns according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the waffle mode harmonic suppressor with rectangular columns is asymmetric from top to bottom with respect to any horizontal plane.
