Background
With the development of network technology and the improvement of the intelligent degree of electronic equipment, users can realize more and more functions such as conversation, chatting, game playing and the like through the electronic equipment. In order to realize these functions, an antenna is required for data transmission.

Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 2, fig. 1 is a first structural schematic diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and fig. 2 is a second structural schematic diagram of the electronic device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure. The electronic device 10 may include a cover 11, a display 12, a circuit board 13, a battery 14, a housing 15, a camera 16, and a fingerprint unlock module 17. It should be noted that the electronic device 10 shown in fig. 1 and 2 is not limited to the above, and may include other devices, or does not include the camera 16, or does not include the fingerprint unlocking module 17.

It should be noted that, the housing 25 may refer to the housing 15, the printed circuit board 23 may refer to the printed circuit board 13, and the battery 24 may refer to the battery 14, which are not described in detail herein.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a fourth schematic structural diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, where the electronic device in fig. 4 is different from the electronic device in fig. 1 in that: the electronic device 30 in fig. 4 includes a display screen 32, a cover plate 31, a printed circuit board 33, a battery 34, and a housing 35. The display screen 32 is provided with a notch 121 at its periphery, and the notch 121 can be used for placing functional components such as a front camera, an earphone, a sensor, and the like. The cover plate 31 is suitable for the structure of the display screen 11, the cover plate 31 may be provided with a large notch such as the notch 121, and the cover plate 31 may cover the notch 121. It should be noted that, the housing 3 may refer to the housing 15, the printed circuit board 33 may refer to the printed circuit board 13, and the battery 34 may refer to the battery 14, which are not described in detail herein.

It should be noted that, the housing 45 may refer to the housing 15, the printed circuit board 43 may refer to the printed circuit board 13, and the battery 44 may refer to the battery 14, which are not described herein again.
In some embodiments, the Display 12 may be a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) or Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) type Display. In some embodiments, when the display 12 is a liquid crystal display, the electronic device 10 may further include a backlight module, not shown, which can be referred to as a backlight module in the prior art.
In some embodiments, the electronic device 10 may also include an antenna structure for transceiving signals. The antenna structure may be mounted to the housing 15, such as to the bezel 151. The antenna structure may form a fixed connection structure with the middle frame 151, which is defined as an antenna assembly. The antenna assembly 100 may include a metal bezel 500 and a metal middle bezel 600.
The metal frame 500 includes a first side 510 and a third side 530 disposed opposite to each other, and a second side 520 and a fourth side 540 disposed opposite to each other, wherein the first side 510, the second side 520, the third side 530 and the fourth side 540 are sequentially connected to each other and form a hollow area.
The metal middle frame 600 is disposed in the hollow region and fixedly connected to the metal bezel 500 through a first plastic part 710.
The first side 510 of the metal frame 500 includes first grounding points 513 and first ends 511, the first ends 511 of the first side 510 are fixedly connected to the fourth side 540 through the second plastic part 720, the metal segment between the first grounding points 513 and the first ends 511 forms a first antenna structure 810, and the first antenna structure 810 is electrically connected to the metal middle frame 600 through the first grounding points 513 and is grounded.
In some embodiments, the first plastic part 710 is disposed around the metal middle frame 600, and one side of the first plastic part 710 is fixedly connected to the metal bezel 500 and the other side is fixedly connected to the metal middle frame 600.
The first plastic part 710 forms a plastic ring around the metal middle frame 600, and the plastic ring fixedly connects the metal frame 500 and the metal middle frame 600. The first side 510 includes a metal side 515 extending along a first direction, one end of the metal side 515 extends towards a fourth side 540 to form a protruding portion 516, an end portion of the protruding portion 516 is a first end 511, and a clamping portion 517 extending towards the first plastic part 710 and fixedly connected with the first plastic part 710 is disposed on an inner surface of the protruding portion 516.
Wherein the first direction is perpendicular to the direction of the fourth side 540. In some embodiments, a snap-in portion 517 is disposed adjacent the first end 511. The first side 510 of the metal frame 500 is separated from the fourth side 540, that is, a gap is formed between the first end 511 of the first side 510 and the fourth side 540, the gap is filled with plastic to form a second plastic part 720, and the second plastic part 720 fixedly connects the first end 511 of the first side 510 and the fourth side 540. Thus, the notch reduces the strength of the metal frame 500, and the fastening strength of the first edge 510 and the first plastic part 710 is enhanced by the clamping portion 517 adjacent to the first end 511, so as to enhance the overall strength of the metal frame 500.

The first antenna structure 810 is provided with a clamping portion 517 extending towards the first plastic part 710 and fixedly connected with the first plastic part 710.
The clamping portion 517 may be disposed at any position on the first antenna structure 810, that is, one or two or more clamping portions 517 may be disposed at any position between the first ground point 513 and the first end 511 of the first antenna structure 810, so as to enhance the connection strength between the metal bezel 500 and the first plastic part 710.
Note that the clip portion 517 may be provided at another position of the first side 510. The first side 510 further includes a second end opposite to the first end 511, and one or more clamping portions 517 may be disposed between the first ground point 513 and the second end for enhancing the connection strength between the first side 510 and the first plastic part 710.
In some embodiments, the first edge 510 is disposed at a top end of the electronic device. Of course, the first side 510 may be disposed at the bottom end of the electronic device.
Referring to fig. 6 and 7, the metal bezel 500 includes a third connecting portion 560 extending from the first grounding point 513 inward to the metal bezel 600, and the third connecting portion 560 is fixedly connected to the metal bezel 600 and grounded.
The metal frame 500 is provided with a third connecting portion 560 penetrating through the first plastic part 710. After the metal frame 500 and the metal middle frame 600 are connected by the first plastic part 710, they are fixedly connected by the third connecting part 560, and the third connecting part 560 is disposed on the first plastic part. The second end 511 is also fixedly connected to the second side through the second plastic member, that is, the first side and the fourth side are disconnected and not conducted, and the first side and the second side are also disconnected and not conducted.
In some embodiments, the antenna assembly 100 further comprises an antenna feed 730, the first antenna structure 810 is provided with a coupling point 811, the coupling point 811 is arranged between the first ground point 513 and the first end 511, and the antenna feed 730 is connected to the coupling point 811. A matching circuit may also be provided between the antenna feed 730 and the coupling point 811.
Referring to fig. 12, fig. 12 is a schematic diagram illustrating a third structure of an antenna element according to an embodiment of the present application. At least one of the second side 520, the third side 530 and the fourth side 540 of the metal frame 500 is provided with one or more clamping portions 517, and the clamping portions 517 are fixedly connected with the first plastic part 710.
It should be noted that, a second antenna structure may be disposed on a third side opposite to the first side, two ends of the third side are disconnected from the second side and the fourth side, and two ends of the third side are respectively fixedly connected to the second side and the fourth side through a second plastic part.
It should be noted that the first antenna structure and the second antenna structure may be understood as radiators in some embodiments.
The antenna assembly and the electronic device provided by the embodiments of the present application are described in detail above, and the principles and embodiments of the present application are described herein using specific examples, which are provided only to help understanding the present application. Meanwhile, for those skilled in the art, according to the idea of the present application, there may be variations in the specific embodiments and the application scope, and in summary, the content of the present specification should not be construed as a limitation to the present application.
Claims (7)
1. An antenna assembly for use in an electronic device, comprising:
the metal frame comprises a first edge and a third edge which are oppositely arranged, and a second edge and a fourth edge which are oppositely arranged, wherein the first edge, the second edge, the third edge and the fourth edge are sequentially connected to form a hollow area;
the metal middle frame is arranged in the hollow area and fixedly connected with the metal frame through a first plastic part, and the metal middle frame is arranged between a cover plate and a rear cover of the electronic equipment;
the first edge comprises first grounding points and first ends which are arranged at intervals, the first end of the first edge is fixedly connected with the fourth edge through a second plastic part, a metal section between the first grounding point and the first end forms a first antenna structure, the first antenna structure is electrically connected with the metal middle frame through the first grounding point and is grounded, a coupling point is further arranged on the first edge, and the coupling point is arranged between the first grounding point and the first end;
the first edge comprises a metal edge extending along a first direction, one end of the metal edge extends towards a fourth direction to form a protruding portion, the end portion of the protruding portion is the first end, and a clamping portion which extends towards the first plastic part and is fixedly connected with the first plastic part is arranged on the inner surface of the protruding portion;
the clamping part comprises a first connecting part extending inwards from the inner surface of the protruding part and a second connecting part extending from the end part of the first connecting part to the first side direction or the third side direction, and the first connecting part and the second connecting part face different directions;
the metal frame further comprises a third connecting portion which extends inwards from the first grounding point to the metal middle frame, and the third connecting portion is fixedly connected with the metal middle frame through a metal screw and achieves electrical grounding.
2. The antenna assembly of claim 1, wherein the first plastic part is disposed around the metal middle frame, and one side of the first plastic part is fixedly connected to the metal bezel and the other side of the first plastic part is fixedly connected to the metal middle frame.
3. The antenna assembly of claim 1, wherein the clip portion is disposed adjacent the first end.
4. The antenna assembly as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first antenna structure is provided with a locking portion extending towards the first plastic part and fixedly connected with the first plastic part.
5. The antenna assembly of claim 1, wherein the first edge is disposed at a top end of the electronic device.
6. The antenna assembly according to claim 1, wherein the third connecting portion is provided with a positioning hole, and the positioning hole is used for being fixedly connected with the metal middle frame through a metal screw and being grounded.
7. An electronic device comprising a housing and an antenna assembly disposed within the housing, the antenna assembly being the antenna assembly of any one of claims 1-6.
