The invention discloses a special measuring tape for field geology and a use method, wherein the special measuring tape can measure the trend of a measuring line, and comprises the following components: the measuring tape comprises a compass, a measuring tape box, a rotating disk, a bubble level meter, a rotating handle, an elastic steel sheet, a steel sheet binding ring, a cloth ruler and a middle shaft; the rotating disc is fixedly connected with the rotating handle, the rotating disc is connected with the tape disc box through a middle shaft, and the rotating disc can rotate around the middle shaft; the bubble level gauge and the compass are fixed on the surface of the tape box; the fixed end of the elastic steel sheet is fixed at the lower end of a cloth tape outlet window of the tape cassette, the free end of the elastic steel sheet is inserted into the steel sheet binding ring, and the free end of the elastic steel sheet is pulled out of the steel sheet binding ring during measurement, so that the elastic steel sheet is straightened and tangent to the tape cassette. In field geological research, measuring the length and direction of a geological profile is a conventional task in which tape measures and compasses are often the tools that are required.
In actual measurement, after the tape is straightened along the section, a compass is required to be used for measuring the direction of a measuring line, and two persons are required to perform cooperative operation; if the whole measurement is operated by a single person, the two ends of the measuring tape are fixed firstly, and then the compass is operated to measure the trend of the measuring line. The existing operation mode is very inconvenient, two independent tools of a tape measure and a compass are needed to be used for measurement respectively, and in the actual field geological measurement work, when the terrain of a geological profile is complex, the measurement operation is extremely complicated, and a lot of inconvenience is brought to the geological measurement work.
Therefore, how to provide a special measuring tape for field geology and a using method thereof, which can measure the length and the trend simultaneously and can measure the trend of the measuring line conveniently and quickly, is a technical problem which needs to be solved by technical personnel in the field.
