Technical Field
The present invention relates to an input device for a vehicle applied to a center console or the like, and more particularly, to an input device for a vehicle, a display area of which is integrally implemented with an input area, thereby improving a degree of freedom in design.
Background
In general, various devices such as an air conditioner, a heater, a sound, and a navigation device are installed in a vehicle, and provide convenience to a driver or a passenger. Input devices for operating, for example, air conditioners, heaters, speakers, and navigation devices may be installed in a center console, an instrument panel, or a console of a vehicle.
The conventional input device for a vehicle has a plurality of push type knobs and accordingly the number of assembly components is large, so that the overall assembly structure is complicated and the input device has a large weight.
Since the display device that displays the running condition, the navigation information, and the like is provided at a center dashboard or the like of the vehicle, and the input device and the display device are separately installed, a boundary line may be formed between the display device and the input device.
Thus, according to the related art, a boundary line is formed between the input device and the display device, and the degree of freedom of design is poor.

Disclosure of Invention
Various aspects of the present invention are directed to provide an input device for a vehicle, a display region of which is integrally formed with an input region, thereby improving the degree of freedom in design and the assembly efficiency of the input device.
According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided an input device for a vehicle, the input device including a main body having a display area and an input area, and a touch assembly disposed below the input area, and one or more input elements and one or more indicators formed in the input area.
The touch assembly may include a printed circuit board having one or more touch sensors disposed therein; and a light emitting device disposed on the printed circuit board; and the touch sensor may be disposed at a position corresponding to the input element.
The touch sensor may be a capacitive touch sensor.
The light emitting device may include a plurality of light emitting elements; and a support member configured to support the plurality of light emitting elements.
The support member may have one or more openings, and the first and second light emitting elements may be disposed in the openings, respectively.
The first light emitting element may emit light to the input element, and the second light emitting element may emit light to the indicator.
A first light guide plate and a second light guide plate may be respectively disposed in the openings, wherein the first light guide plate may guide light of the first light emitting element toward the input element, and the second light guide plate may guide light of the second light emitting element toward the indicator.
A film may be disposed on the light emitting device, wherein the film may have a plurality of light-transmitting portions formed at positions corresponding to the input element and the indicator.
The input element and the pointer may be transferred in the input area of the body by moulding.
A semi-transparent mirror may be disposed on the input element and an upper surface of the pointer.

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to various embodiments of the invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and described below. While the invention will be described in conjunction with the exemplary embodiments, it will be understood that this description is not intended to limit the invention to those exemplary embodiments. On the contrary, the invention is intended to cover not only these exemplary embodiments, but also various alternatives, modifications, equivalents and other embodiments, which may be included within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
Referring to fig. 1, an input apparatus for a vehicle according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may include: a body 11 having a display area 12 and an input area 13, and a touch assembly 20 disposed below the input area 13.
The body 11 may be formed of a light-transmissive resin through which light can be transmitted to the entire body 11.
The main body 11 may have: a display area 12 configured to display various information, and a display area 13 disposed at one side of the display area 12.
The display area 12 may be configured to display various information including a running condition of the vehicle, a state of the vehicle, navigation information, audio information, and video information.
A display panel and a display driving module, etc. may be disposed under the display area 12.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, one or more input elements 31 and one or more indicators 35 may be formed in the input area 13 of the main body 11, the one or more input elements 31 being input by a touch of a user, and the one or more indicators 35 being configured to display a vehicle condition or the like. The input element 31 and the indicator 35 may be displayed in various symbols including letters, numbers, figures, and the like.
The input element 31 and the indicator 35 may have a light-transmissive color through which light from the light emitting elements 23a and 23b of the touch assembly 20, which will be described below, may be transmitted to the input element 31 and the indicator 35. The base portion 32 may be formed around the input element 31 and the indicator 35, and the base portion 32 may have an opaque color including black through which light is not transmitted to the base portion 32.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of input elements 31 and the plurality of indicators 35 may be formed on the surface of the input area 13 of the body 11 by a transfer method using a molding manner.
Referring to fig. 2, the touch assembly 20 may be disposed under the input region 13 of the main body 11, the touch assembly 20 may be supported by a cover member 29, and the cover member 29 may be detachably coupled to a lower surface of the main body 11 using a coupling means.
Referring to fig. 3, the touch assembly 20 may include: a printed circuit board 21, a light emitting device 25 disposed on the printed circuit board 21, and a film 27 disposed on the light emitting device 25.
The plurality of touch sensors 22 may be disposed on the upper surface of the printed circuit board 21, and the number of the plurality of touch sensors 22 may be the same as the number of the plurality of input elements 31. The plurality of touch sensors 22 may be arranged at positions corresponding to the plurality of input elements 31.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the touch sensor 22 may be a capacitive touch sensor configured to detect a change in capacitance generated by a user's touch.
The light emitting device 25 may include: a plurality of light emitting elements 23a and 23b, and a support member 26 configured to support the plurality of light emitting elements 23a and 23b, and the support member 26 may have a plurality of openings 26 a.
The number of the plurality of openings 26a may be the same as the number of the plurality of input elements 31 and the plurality of indicators 35. The plurality of openings 26a may be arranged at positions corresponding to the plurality of input elements 31 and the plurality of indicators 35.
The first and second light emitting elements 23a and 23b may be disposed in the plurality of openings 26a, respectively. The first light emitting element 23a may be configured to irradiate light to the input element 31, and the second light emitting element 23b may be configured to irradiate light to the indicator 35.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the light emitting elements 23a and 23b may be LEDs.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of first light guide plates 24a and the plurality of second light guide plates 24b may be disposed in the plurality of openings 26a, respectively.
The first light guide plates 24a may be respectively disposed on side surfaces of the first light emitting elements 23a to be adjacent to each other, and the first light guide plates 24a may be configured to respectively guide the light of the first light emitting elements 23a toward the input element 31. According to an embodiment, a vertical axis of the first light guide plate 24a may be disposed to coincide with a vertical axis of the input element 31.
The second light guide plates 24b may be respectively disposed on side surfaces of the second light emitting elements 23b to be adjacent to each other, and the second light guide plates 24b may be configured to respectively guide the light of the second light emitting elements 23b toward the indicators 35. According to an embodiment, a vertical axis of the second light guide plate 24b may be disposed to coincide with a vertical axis of the indicator 35.
In this way, according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, since the positions of the light emitting elements 23a and 23b and the light guide plates 24a and 24b may be maintained fixed, and the adjacent light emitting elements 23a and 23b may be separated from each other by adjusting the light emitting elements 23a and 23b and the light guide plates 24a and 24b in the opening 26a of the support member 26, respectively, the light emitted from the adjacent light emitting elements 23a and 23b may be effectively prevented from interfering with each other.
Film 27 may have a plurality of light-transmitting portions 27a at positions corresponding to the plurality of input elements 31 and the plurality of indicators 35.
Non-light-transmitting portion 27b may be formed around light-transmitting portion 27a and between light-transmitting portions 27a, and non-light-transmitting portion 27b may correspond to base portion 32 formed around input element 31 and between input elements 31.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of light-transmitting portions 27a may have a diffusion structure through which light transmitted from the light-emitting element 23 may be diffused toward the input element 31. The non-light-transmitting portion 27b may have a color of black, similar to the base portion 32.
Fig. 4, 5, 6 and 7 show a process of integrally forming a plurality of input elements 31 and a plurality of indicators 35 on the surface of the input area 13 of the body 11 by molding.
As shown in fig. 4, a plurality of input elements 31 and a plurality of indicators 35 may be formed on the surface of the film 41. The membrane module 40 is made by: a release layer 42 is formed on a surface of the film 41, a half mirror 43 is deposited on a surface of the release layer 42, and a display layer 33 having a plurality of input elements 31, a plurality of indicators 35, and a base portion 32 is formed on a surface of the half mirror 43.
As shown in fig. 5, 6, and 7, the cavity 64 may be formed by the first mold 61 and the second mold 62, and the first mold 61 has a resin flow path 63 along which the resin is injected.
As shown in FIG. 5, pellicle assembly 40 of FIG. 4 is inserted between first mold 61 and second mold 62.
As shown in fig. 6, after the first mold 61 and the second mold 62 are closed, the molten resin is injected to the cavity 64 through the resin flow path of the first mold 61, so that the main body 11 is formed in the cavity 64, and the display layer 33 and the half mirror 43 of the thin-film assembly 40 may be attached to the surface of the main body 11.
Next, after the first mold 61 and the second mold 62 are opened, the half mirror 43 and the display layer 33 may remain attached to the surface of the body 11 due to the release layer 42 of the film assembly 40, and the film 41 and the release layer 42 of the film assembly 40 may be separated from the body 11.
By molding, the input member and the pointer 35 may be formed integrally by transfer on the surface of the input area 13 of the main body 11.
Further, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the half mirror 43 is integrally formed on the surface of the display layer 33 by molding, and the input element 31 and the indicator 35 may be hidden when power is not supplied to the first and second light emitting elements 23a and 23 b.
Fig. 8 is a block diagram illustrating control of an input apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 8, the input device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include a main control device 70, to which the second light emitting element 23b and the touch sensor 22 are connected 70.
The main control device 70 may include: a first controller 71 connected to the second light emitting element 23b, a second controller 72 connected to the touch sensor, and a driving module 73 connected to the first and second controllers 71.
The first controller is configured to control the second light emitting element 23b such that the second light emitting element 23b is turned on or off, and the second controller 72 is configured to receive a touch input to the touch sensor 22 and generate various control signals.
The drive module 73 may have: an algorithm for analyzing the touch signal to the touch sensor 22, and an algorithm for controlling the turning on or off of the second light emitting element 23 b.
The main control device 70 may receive electric power from the main battery 80, and the first battery 81 and the second battery 82 may be connected to the main battery 80 in parallel with each other. The first battery 81 may be configured to supply power to the first light emitting element 23a and the main control device 70, and the second battery 82 may be configured to supply power to the second light emitting element 23 b.
When the first battery 81 supplies power to the first light emitting element 23a, the first light emitting element 23a may remain turned on.
The input device for a vehicle according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention can improve the degree of freedom in design and assembly efficiency because a touch type input structure is implemented and the display area and the input area are formed as one body.
For convenience in explanation and accurate definition in the appended claims, the terms "upper", "lower", "inner", "outer", "upper", "lower", "above", "below", "upward", "downward", "front", "rear", "back", "inside", "outside", "inward", "outward", "inside", "outside", "in", "outside", "forward" and "rearward" are used to describe features of the exemplary embodiments with reference to the positions of such features as displayed in the figures.
The foregoing descriptions of specific exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description. Claims (11)

1. An input device for a vehicle, comprising:
a main body;
a touch assembly disposed under the body;
a display layer attached to an upper surface of the body, the display layer having one or more input elements, one or more indicators, and a base portion formed around the one or more input elements and the one or more indicators; and
a half mirror attached on an upper surface of the display layer;
wherein the touch assembly includes a film attached to a lower surface of the body and a light emitting device attached to a lower surface of the film;
the film has a plurality of light-transmitting portions and a plurality of non-light-transmitting portions;
the plurality of light-transmissive portions are aligned with one or more input elements and one or more indicators;
the half mirror completely covers the one or more input elements, the one or more indicators, and the base portion.
2. The input device for the vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the touch assembly further comprises:
a printed circuit board having one or more touch sensors disposed therein;
wherein the touch sensor is aligned with the one or more input elements.
3. The input device for the vehicle according to claim 2, wherein the touch sensor is a capacitive touch sensor.
4. The input device for the vehicle according to claim 2, wherein the light emitting device includes:
a plurality of light emitting elements; and
a support member configured to support the plurality of light emitting elements.
5. The input device for the vehicle according to claim 4, wherein the support member has one or more openings,
the plurality of light emitting elements includes first and second light emitting elements respectively arranged in the corresponding openings.
6. The input device for the vehicle of claim 5, wherein the first light emitting element is configured to illuminate light to the one or more input elements and the second light emitting element is configured to illuminate light to the one or more indicators.
7. The input device for the vehicle according to claim 6, wherein the first light guide plate and the second light guide plate are respectively arranged in the opening,
the first light guide plate is configured to guide light of a first light emitting element toward the one or more input elements, and the second light guide plate is configured to guide light of a second light emitting element toward the one or more indicators.
8. The input device for the vehicle according to claim 4, wherein the plurality of non-light-transmitting portions are formed at positions corresponding to side portions of each light emitting element.
9. The input device for the vehicle of claim 1, wherein a base portion is formed on the body, and the one or more input elements and the one or more indicators are formed in the base portion.
10. The input device for the vehicle according to claim 1, wherein a cover member is detachably mounted to a lower portion of the touch assembly.
11. The input device for the vehicle of claim 1, wherein the one or more input elements and the one or more indicators are transferred in the body by molding.
