Abstract
The invention relates to a method and a system for updating set-top box advertisement pictures, wherein an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table which accord with TS stream transmission standards are added in a TS stream of a set-top box, then the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table in the TS stream are received in real time to carry out version judgment, and updating and advertisement picture display operations are carried out.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of digital televisions, in particular to a method and a system for updating advertisement pictures of a set top box.
Background
The set-top box, as a digital television device, has become a function of the set-top box to implant and play advertisements, and the main mode is to display advertisement pictures at selected positions on an interface, such as a startup picture, a main menu page, a program list, a message pop-up box, and the like.
Generally, an advertisement operator presets a predetermined advertisement picture in the set-top box in advance, and then the advertisement picture is solidified in the application software of the set-top box. If the advertisement picture needs to be updated, the application software needs to be updated again, so that the updating lacks flexibility, the whole application software needs to be updated every time, the updating speed is low, the updating cost is high, and the updating is inconvenient.

s30: and acquiring the display time and the display position of the advertisement picture according to the advertisement information in the advertisement information table, calling the picture advertisement data in the advertisement data table when the display time is up, and displaying at the display position.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
When the set-top box plays, the front end receives the TS stream (transport stream) and analyzes the TS stream to obtain corresponding data and information. The method of the invention embeds the advertisement picture data into the TS stream by the way that the set-top box receives the TS stream, thereby realizing the display and the update of the advertisement picture.
Specifically, referring to fig. 1, it is a flowchart of a method for updating an advertisement picture of a set-top box in an embodiment, where the method includes the following steps:
s10: defining an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table which accord with a TS (transport stream) protocol, wherein the advertisement information table is used for determining an advertisement version and advertisement information, the advertisement data table is used for bearing advertisement picture data, and the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table are added into the TS for transmission by the TS.
In order to enable the transmission of advertisements in a TS stream, the step first defines an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table, where the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table conform to a transmission protocol of the TS stream, specifically: the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table are defined using the private section syntax of the DVB (digital video broadcasting) standard. The advertisement information table comprises advertisement version and advertisement information, wherein the advertisement information comprises the number of advertisement pictures, the affiliated advertisers, display time, display positions and the like. The advertisement data table is the specific data for carrying each advertisement picture. After the specific advertisement picture is determined by the advertisement information, the data of the advertisement picture can be called from the advertisement data sheet to display the advertisement picture.
The advertisement information table and the advertisement data table are made into code streams, multiplexed into the TS stream, and transmitted by the TS stream.
S20: and receiving the TS stream, analyzing the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table in real time, judging whether the advertisement version in the advertisement information table changes, if so, updating the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table, and if not, not updating.
And after the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table are multiplexed into the TS, the TS is transmitted to the set-top box terminal along with the TS. The set-top box terminal receives the TS stream monitoring advertisement information table and the advertisement data table in real time, judges whether updating is needed or not, and displays the advertisement picture according to the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table.
Specifically, the method comprises the following steps: and setting a version marking position in the advertisement information table, comparing the version marking positions after receiving the advertisement information table, and if the version marking position changes, updating, otherwise, not updating.

After the updating is not needed or is completed, the advertisement picture needs to be displayed. The advertisement information contains information such as the number of advertisement pictures, the affiliated advertisers, the display time, the display positions and the like, so that the advertisement picture data can be selected from the advertisement data sheet according to the advertisement information and displayed at the corresponding display position when the display time is up.
Specifically, in order to facilitate management and updating of the advertisement picture, three sets of variables, namely an advertiser (ad-id), a display position (ad-type) and a display time (ad-time), are preset in the advertisement information, and the advertiser, the display position and the display time are sequentially analyzed from the advertisement information to determine display of the advertisement picture. When the three groups of variables are set for updating, only the specific variables in the three groups of variables need to be changed, and the updating is simple and quick.
The set top box advertisement picture updating method is characterized in that an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table which accord with TS stream transmission standards are added in a TS stream of the set top box, then the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table in the TS stream are received in real time to carry out version judgment, updating and advertisement picture displaying operations are carried out, advertisement pictures are transmitted and updated through the TS stream and are not solidified in application software of the set top box any more, the application software does not need to be updated again during updating, and the set top box advertisement picture updating method is flexible in updating, high in speed, low in cost and more convenient and fast.
The invention also provides a set-top box advertisement picture updating system, which comprises the following components in combination with the figure 2:
the transmission definition module 100 defines an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table conforming to the TS stream protocol, where the advertisement information table is used to determine the advertisement version and the advertisement information, the advertisement data table is used to carry advertisement picture data, and the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table are added into the TS stream and transmitted by the TS stream.
To enable the transmission of advertisements in a TS stream, the transmission definition module 100 first defines an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table, which conform to the transmission protocol of the TS stream, specifically: the transmission definition module 100 defines an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table using a private section syntax of the DVB (digital video broadcasting) standard. The advertisement information table comprises advertisement version and advertisement information, wherein the advertisement information comprises the number of advertisement pictures, the affiliated advertisers, display time, display positions and the like. The advertisement data table is the specific data for carrying each advertisement picture. The transmission definition module 100 makes the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table into a code stream, multiplexes the code stream into the TS stream, and transmits the TS stream.
And the version monitoring module 200 receives the TS stream, analyzes the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table in real time, determines whether the advertisement version in the advertisement information table changes, updates the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table if the advertisement version in the advertisement information table changes, and does not update the advertisement version in the advertisement data table if the advertisement version in the advertisement information table does not change.
And after the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table are multiplexed into the TS, the TS is transmitted to the set-top box terminal along with the TS. The version monitoring module 200 receives the TS stream monitoring advertisement information table and the advertisement data table in real time, determines whether updating is required, and displays an advertisement picture according to the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table.
Specifically, the method comprises the following steps: the version flag is preset in the advertisement information table, the version monitoring module 200 compares the version flag after receiving the advertisement information table, and if the version flag changes, the version flag needs to be updated, otherwise, the version flag is not updated.
The advertisement display module 300 obtains the display time and the display position of the advertisement picture according to the advertisement information in the advertisement information table, calls the picture advertisement data in the advertisement data table when the display time is reached, and displays the picture advertisement data at the display position.
After the updating is not needed or is completed, the advertisement picture needs to be displayed. The advertisement information includes information such as the number of advertisement pictures, the advertiser to which the advertisement information belongs, display time, display position, etc., and the advertisement display module 300 can select advertisement picture data in the advertisement data table according to the advertisement information and display the advertisement picture data at the corresponding display position when the display time arrives.

1. A set-top box advertisement picture updating method is characterized by comprising the following steps:
s10: defining an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table which accord with a TS (transport stream) protocol, wherein the advertisement information table is used for determining an advertisement version and advertisement information, the advertisement data table is used for bearing advertisement picture data, and the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table are added into the TS and transmitted by the TS;
s20: receiving TS stream, analyzing an advertisement information table and an advertisement data table in real time, judging whether the advertisement version in the advertisement information table changes, if so, updating the advertisement information table and the advertisement data table, otherwise, not updating;
s30: acquiring the display time and the display position of an advertisement picture according to the advertisement information in the advertisement information table, calling the picture advertisement data in the advertisement data table when the display time is up, and displaying at the display position;
the step S30 specifically includes: presetting three groups of variables, namely an advertiser, a display position and display time, in the advertisement information, analyzing the three variables of the advertiser, the display position and the display time from the advertisement information in sequence to determine the display of the advertisement picture, and realizing by changing the specific variables of the three groups of variables when the three groups of variables are set to be updated;
