Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a pants-type disposable diaper and a method for manufacturing the same.
Background
Generally, a pants-type disposable diaper includes: an exterior body which constitutes a front body part and a rear body part separately or integrally; and an interior body including an absorbent member, which is attached to the exterior body so as to extend from the front body portion to the rear body portion, wherein both side edges of the exterior body of the front body portion and both side edges of the exterior body of the rear body portion are joined together to form side seals, thereby forming a waist opening and a pair of left and right leg openings.
In such a pants-type disposable diaper, in order to improve the fit to the body, the outer body is formed in a laminated structure having a plurality of sheet layers, and various elastic members are attached between the sheet layers in an extended state, wherein the fit to the body is relatively high in the following structure: in a waist region defined as a range in the front-rear direction corresponding to the side seals or in an intermediate region between the front and rear waist regions, elongated elastic members extending in the width direction are attached at intervals in the front-rear direction and each of the elongated elastic members extends in the width direction, thereby forming an extensible region (see, for example, patent documents 1 to 5).
In addition, in a general pants-type disposable diaper, since the region of the outer cover on the outer side in the width direction of the absorbent member is required to be rich in stretchability, it is preferable to use a thin nonwoven fabric for the inner sheet layer and the outer sheet layer adjacent to the inner side and the outer side of the elastic member in the region of the outer cover on the outer side in the width direction of the absorbent member so as not to impair stretchability or to increase thickness. On the other hand, in order to suppress the hard-hand feeling due to the presence of the interior body in the portion of the exterior body overlapping the interior body, it is preferable to use nonwoven fabrics having a soft thickness for the inner sheet layer and the outer sheet layer.
However, since the conventional exterior body is formed of a sheet continuous in the width direction and has a laminated structure continuous in the width direction, it is not possible to make the portion overlapping with the absorbent member and the portion not overlapping with the absorbent member have opposite characteristics.

Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, a main object of the present invention is to provide a pants-type disposable diaper comprising: the portion not overlapping the absorbent member is thin and suitable for expansion and contraction, and the portion overlapping the absorbent member is excellent in soft touch.
A typical embodiment of the present invention that solves the above problems is as follows.
< mode 1 >)
A pants-type disposable diaper comprising: an outer body which constitutes at least a waist region of the front body portion and at least a waist region of the rear body portion; and an interior body having an absorbent member incorporated therein, the interior body being attached to the exterior body so as to extend from a front body portion to a rear body portion, the exterior body including: an elastic member; an inner sheet layer adjacent to an inner side of the elastic member; and an outer sheet layer adjacent to an outer side of the elastic member, both side portions of the outer covering of the front body portion and both side portions of the outer covering of the rear body portion being joined together to form a waist opening and a pair of left and right leg openings, characterized in that the pants-type disposable diaper has a cover sheet made of nonwoven fabric extending in the front-rear direction so as to pass through the widthwise central side of the positions of both side edges of the absorbent member and further to the outside of the outer sheet layer in the outer body, the nonwoven fabric other than the cover sheet is not provided on the outer side in the width direction from the position of both side edges of the absorbent member and on the outer side from the outer sheet layer in the outer case, and the inner surface of the cover sheet, in the regions other than the front and rear end portions, at least both side end portions are bonded to the opposing surfaces by a hot melt adhesive.
(Effect)
In this aspect, a cover sheet made of a nonwoven fabric is additionally superimposed and bonded on the outer covering, the cover sheet extending in the front-rear direction so as to pass through the widthwise central side from the positions of both side edges of the absorbent member and the outer side from the outer sheet layer in the outer covering, and the nonwoven fabric other than the cover sheet is not provided on the widthwise outer side from the positions of both side edges of the absorbent member and the outer side from the outer sheet layer in the outer covering.
In addition, when an additional nonwoven fabric is attached to the outer side of the outer package in a superposed manner, the outer package may expand and contract in the width direction as follows: the seam between the nonwoven fabric and the outer package to be bonded in an overlapping manner becomes conspicuous, or the side end portions of the nonwoven fabric to be bonded in an overlapping manner are easily peeled off. In particular, if the side end portion of the cover sheet is located in a portion with low rigidity or is easily deformed, peeling may occur even if the cover sheet is bonded to the opposite surface. In addition, if the side end portions of the cover sheet easily rub against the legs of the wearer, the fear of occurrence of peeling is higher, and there is also a fear that: the step causes the skin to feel worse. In contrast, in this embodiment, the side end portions of the cover sheet are located in the regions where the rigidity is higher than the surrounding, and therefore deformation is less likely to occur, and rubbing against the legs of the wearer is less likely to occur, so that the adhesion to the opposing surface is less likely to peel off, and the skin feel is less likely to deteriorate. Further, since the side end portion of the cover sheet is bonded to the facing surface, the boundary is seamlessly integrated without being conspicuous.
In this aspect, the width direction range of the cover sheet is located in the region having the absorbent member, that is, the region which is originally thicker than the surrounding region and has lower flexibility and air permeability, and therefore, the increase in thickness and the decrease in flexibility and air permeability caused by the increase in thickness of the cover sheet hardly become a problem.
< 2 nd mode >)
The pants-type disposable diaper according to claim 1, wherein the inner sheet layer and the outer sheet layer are nonwoven fabrics, and fibers of the inner sheet layer, the outer sheet layer, and the cover sheet are oriented in a width direction.
(Effect)
As described above, if the fiber orientations of the inner sheet layer, the outer sheet layer, and the cover sheet are aligned in the width direction, the longitudinal and transverse tensile elongations (or the aspect ratio of the tensile elongations) are close to each other, and therefore, when the inner sheet layer, the outer sheet layer, and the cover sheet are deformed during use, the inner sheet layer, the outer sheet layer, and the cover sheet are deformed integrally, the joint between the cover sheet and the outer package which are overlapped and bonded is less likely to be conspicuous, and the side end portions of the cover sheet are less likely to peel off.
< mode 3 >)
The pants-type disposable diaper according to claim 1 or 2, wherein a front edge of the cover sheet is located on a rear side of a front edge of the absorbent member, and a rear edge of the cover sheet is located on a front side of a rear edge of the absorbent member.
(Effect)
If the leading edge and the trailing edge of the cover sheet are located in a portion with low rigidity or easily deformed, they are easily separated from the opposite surfaces, and may be peeled off even if they are bonded to the opposite surfaces. Further, if the front edge and the rear edge of the cover sheet are separated or peeled from the facing surfaces, wrinkles at the boundary portion between the cover sheet and the exterior body are likely to be conspicuous and give an unnatural appearance. In contrast, in the present aspect 2, since the leading edge and the trailing edge of the cover sheet are located in the region having the absorbing member, that is, the region having higher rigidity than the surrounding region and less likely to be deformed, separation or peeling from the facing surface is difficult, and the following can be prevented: wrinkles at the boundary portion between the cover sheet and the outer sheet become conspicuous and give an unnatural appearance.
< 4 th mode >)
The pants-type disposable diaper according to any one of aspects 1 to 3, wherein the cover sheet extends toward the waist opening at least one of the front body portion and the back body portion, and is folded back inward of the inner sheet layer at the waist opening.
(Effect)
The leading and trailing edges of the cover sheet are not exposed to the outer surface of the product, and the appearance becomes good. In addition, the front edge and the rear edge of the cover sheet are less likely to be peeled off by rubbing against the clothes.
< 5 th mode >)
The pants-type disposable diaper according to any 1 of aspects 1 to 4, wherein the outer cover has: a non-stretchable region provided in a widthwise middle portion of a region overlapping the absorbent member; and a stretchable region provided on both sides of the non-stretchable region in the width direction, the cover sheet being provided within the range of the non-stretchable region in the width direction.
(Effect)
If the cover sheet is provided in the width direction range of the non-stretch region in this manner, wrinkles are reduced in the entire cover sheet range, and the appearance is excellent. On the other hand, if the cover sheet extends to the stretch region, shrinkage wrinkles are formed in the cover sheet, and therefore, the side end portions of the cover sheet are easily peeled off, or wrinkles are conspicuous and give an unnatural appearance.
< mode 6 >)
The pants-type disposable diaper according to any one of aspects 1 to 5, wherein a decorative printing sheet having decorative printing adjacent to an inner surface of the cover sheet is interposed between the outer sheet layer and the cover sheet of the outer cover.
(Effect)
In this aspect, the decorative printing sheet is interposed between the outer sheet layer and the cover sheet of the outer package, and the decorative printing can be seen through the cover sheet alone, so that the decorative printing is highly visible.
< 7 th mode >)
The pants-type disposable diaper according to any one of aspects 1 to 6, wherein the pants-type disposable diaper separately includes, as the outer cover, a front-side outer cover constituting at least a waist portion of a front body portion and a rear-side outer cover constituting at least a waist portion of a rear body portion, the front side outer covering body and the rear side outer covering body are separated in the front-rear direction at a front-rear direction intermediate position, the inner covering body has a liquid-impermeable sheet covering the back surface side of the absorbent member, the liquid-impermeable sheet has an exposed portion exposed at least in a widthwise intermediate portion of the back surface of the interior body, the liquid-impermeable sheet is a decorative printed sheet having decorative printing in a region of the exposed portion between the front-side outer cover and the rear-side outer cover, the cover sheet extends at least from the front-side exterior body to the rear-side exterior body in the front-rear direction.
(Effect)
In the case where the decoration printing is performed on the liquid-impermeable sheet having the exposed portion exposed on the back surface of the interior body, if the two-part structure of the exterior as in the present aspect is adopted and the decoration printing of the liquid-impermeable sheet is exposed at the portion where the front-side exterior body and the rear-side exterior body are separated in the front-rear direction, the decoration printing can be seen through the cover sheet only at the portion covered with the cover sheet, and therefore, the visibility of the decoration printing of the liquid-impermeable sheet can be improved. Further, since the cover sheet extends at least from the front side exterior body to the rear side exterior body in the front-rear direction, the appearance and the texture are continuous over the front side exterior body and the rear side exterior body.
< 8 th mode >)
The pants-type disposable diaper according to any one of aspects 1 to 7, wherein the inner sheet layer and the outer sheet layer are nonwoven fabrics, and the thickness of the cover sheet is larger than the thickness of each of the inner sheet layer and the outer sheet layer.
(Effect)
This makes the portion not overlapping the absorbent member thinner and suitable for expansion and contraction, and the portion overlapping the absorbent member is more excellent in soft touch.
< mode 9 >)
The pants-type disposable diaper according to any one of aspects 1 to 8, wherein the cover sheet is a perforated nonwoven fabric having a plurality of holes penetrating through front and back surfaces thereof at intervals.
(Effect)
If the cover sheet is such a perforated nonwoven fabric, the decorative printing of the liquid-impermeable sheet can be easily seen as well as the air permeability, flexibility, bulkiness (soft feeling), and the like can be improved.
< 10 th mode >
A method for manufacturing a pants-type disposable diaper according to claim 1, the method comprising: an exterior body assembling step of forming an exterior body strip in which a portion to be the exterior body is repeatedly and continuously formed in the MD direction so that the width direction of the portion coincides with the MD direction; an interior body mounting step of sequentially joining separately manufactured interior bodies in an unfolded state to portions to be the respective exterior bodies on the exterior body strip while conveying the exterior body strip so that a width direction of the diaper becomes an MD direction, thereby forming an interior body assembly in which portions to be the respective diapers are continuous in the MD direction in the unfolded state; a cover sheet bonding step of bonding the cover sheet to a surface of the exterior band-shaped body on a side opposite to a bonding surface of the interior body with a space therebetween in an MD direction; a folding step of folding the interior assembly in two in the CD direction to form a folded-in ribbon; and a side-portion joining/separating step of joining the outer covering body of the front body portion and the outer covering body of the rear body portion to each other at portions of the folded-back strip-shaped body which become both side portions of each diaper, and cutting the outer covering body of the front body portion and the outer covering body of the rear body portion at boundaries of each diaper to obtain each diaper, wherein in the cover sheet bonding step, while the strip-shaped body of the cover sheet which is continuous in a band shape is conveyed along the continuous direction thereof, a hot-melt adhesive is applied continuously in the MD direction to a bonding surface of the strip-shaped body of the cover sheet with respect to the outer covering strip-shaped body, and then the strip-shaped body is cut into each cover sheet with a space in the MD direction, and the cut cover sheet is bonded to a surface of the outer covering strip-shaped body on a side opposite to a bonding surface of the inner covering body with a space in the MD direction.
(Effect)
In a conventional form in which the cover sheet is attached to the back surface of the interior body, the MD direction of the assembly line of the interior body is defined as the front-rear direction of the interior body, and the front-rear direction of the cover sheet is also defined as the MD direction when the cover sheet is attached. In this case, it is difficult to apply the hot melt adhesive for attaching the cover sheet to the side edge of the cover sheet accurately and to the utmost, and therefore, it is difficult to apply the hot melt adhesive to both side end portions of the cover sheet as described above.
In contrast, if the cover sheet is attached as in this embodiment, the hot-melt adhesive can be continuously applied to the cover sheet in the width direction to just the side edges thereof, except the front and rear end portions of the cover sheet, and the side end portions of the cover sheet can be firmly bonded to the opposite surfaces without the hot-melt adhesive overflowing. Thus, the pants-type disposable diaper of embodiment 1 can be easily manufactured.
< 11 th mode >
A method for manufacturing a pants-type disposable diaper according to claim 10, wherein a resin film bonding step of bonding a resin film subjected to decorative printing to an adhesive surface of the belt-shaped body of the cover sheet facing the exterior belt-shaped body is provided before the cover sheet bonding step, and in the cover sheet bonding step, a hot melt adhesive is continuously applied to the adhesive surface of the belt-shaped body of the cover sheet to which the resin film is bonded facing the exterior belt-shaped body in the MD direction, and then the cover sheet is cut into individual cover sheets at intervals in the MD direction, and the cut cover sheets are bonded to a surface of the exterior belt-shaped body on a side opposite to a bonding surface of the interior body at intervals in the MD direction.
(Effect)
In this aspect, after the resin film is bonded to the strip-shaped body of the cover sheet, each cover sheet is cut and bonded to the exterior strip-shaped body, and therefore, the rigidity of each cut cover sheet increases in accordance with the presence of the resin film, and therefore, when the cover sheet is intermittently bonded to the exterior strip-shaped body, the shape is stable, and stable bonding can be achieved.
< mode 12 >)
The method of manufacturing a pants-type disposable diaper according to claim 10 or 11, wherein a perforation step is provided before the cover sheet bonding step, and in the perforation step, a plurality of holes penetrating through the front and back surfaces of the cover sheet are formed at intervals by supply lines to the belt-like body of the cover sheet in the cover sheet bonding step.
(Effect)
It is preferable that the cover sheet is a perforated nonwoven fabric because the air permeability, flexibility, bulkiness (soft feeling), and the like can be improved. In this case, a perforated nonwoven fabric processed in advance may be used as the cover sheet, but processing on a manufacturing line is preferable in order to reduce material cost. However, when the nonwoven fabric is subjected to the perforation processing, it is difficult to stably perform the high-precision processing as the speed of the processing line is higher. In contrast, in the cover sheet bonding step of the above-described manufacturing method, since the cutting and the intermittent bonding are performed to slow the feeding speed of the cover sheet strip to the cover sheet bonding step, if the punching step for the cover sheet is performed on the cover sheet strip feeding line in the cover sheet bonding step as in this embodiment, stable punching can be achieved.
As described above, the present invention has the following advantages such as a pants-type disposable diaper: the portion not overlapping the absorbent member is thin and suitable for expansion and contraction, and the portion overlapping the absorbent member is excellent in soft touch.

Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. The dotted portion in the cross-sectional view indicates an adhesive as a joining means for joining the respective constituent members positioned on the front and back sides thereof, and is formed by full-surface application of a hot-melt adhesive, linear (ビード) application, curtain (カーテン) application, critical portion (サミット) application or spiral application, pattern application (transfer of a hot-melt adhesive by a relief method), or the like, or a fixed portion of an elastic member is formed by applying the adhesive to the outer peripheral surface of the elastic member instead of or together with the adhesive by an application gun, size application, or the like. Examples of the hot melt adhesive include EVA adhesives, adhesive rubber adhesives (elastic adhesives), olefin adhesives, and polyester polyamide adhesives, and can be used without particular limitation. As a joining means for joining the respective constituent members, a material-based welding means such as heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing may be employed.
Fig. 1 to 8 show an example of a pants-type disposable diaper. The pants-type disposable diaper comprises: a front side outer body 12F constituting at least a waist portion of the front body portion F; a rear side outer body 12B constituting at least a waist portion of the back body portion B; and an interior body 200 having an absorbent member 50 incorporated therein, which is attached to the exterior bodies 12F, 12B so as to extend from the front side exterior body 12F to the rear side exterior body 12B through the crotch portion, and which is joined to both side portions of the front side exterior body 12F and both side portions of the rear side exterior body 12B to form side seal portions 12A, whereby openings formed in the front and rear end portions of the exterior bodies 12F, 12B serve as waist openings WO for passing the waist of the wearer, and portions surrounded by the lower edges of the exterior bodies 12F, 12B and the side edges of the interior body 200 on both sides in the width direction of the interior body 200 serve as leg openings LO for passing the legs. The interior body 200 is a portion for absorbing and holding excrement such as urine, and the exterior bodies 12F and 12B are supports for performing the following functions: the inner body 200 is supported relative to the body of the wearer. In addition, reference numeral Y denotes the entire length of the diaper in the developed state (the longitudinal length from the edge of the waist opening WO of the front body F to the edge of the waist opening WO of the rear body B), and reference numeral X denotes the full width of the diaper in the developed state.
The pants-type disposable diaper of the present embodiment has a waist region T defined as a front-rear direction range (a front-rear direction range from the waist opening WO to the upper end of the leg opening LO) having the side seals 12A, and an intermediate region L defined as a front-rear direction range of a portion forming the leg opening LO (between the front-rear direction region of the front body portion F having the side seals 12A and the front-rear direction region of the rear body portion B having the side seals 12A). The waist region T can be conceptually divided into a waist portion W forming an edge of the waist opening and a waist lower portion U being a portion below the waist opening. In general, in the case where a boundary where the stretching stress in the width direction WD changes (for example, the thickness and the elongation of the elastic member change) is present in the waist region T, a portion closer to the waist opening WO than the boundary closest to the waist opening WO becomes the waist portion W, and in the case where such a boundary is absent, a portion closer to the waist opening WO than the absorbent body 56 or the interior body 200 becomes the waist portion W. The length in the front-back direction thereof may be appropriately determined depending on the size of the product, and for example, the waist portion W may be 15 to 40mm, and the waist lower portion U may be 65 to 120 mm. On the other hand, both side edges of the intermediate region L are narrowed in an コ shape or a curved shape along the circumference of the leg of the wearer, which is a region into which the leg of the wearer is inserted. As a result, the pants-type disposable diaper in an unfolded state is formed into a substantially hourglass shape as a whole.
(inner body)
The inner body 200 may have any shape, but is rectangular in the illustrated embodiment. As shown in fig. 3 to 5(b), the interior body 200 includes: an absorbent member 50; and a liquid-permeable top sheet 30 covering the front surface side of the absorbent member, wherein the interior body is a main body having an absorption function. Reference numeral 40 denotes an intermediate sheet (second sheet) provided between the top sheet 30 and the absorbent member 50 in order to rapidly move the liquid having permeated the top sheet 30 to the absorbent member 50, and reference numeral 60 denotes three-dimensional gather portions 60 extending from both side portions of the inner body 200 so as to contact the peripheries of the legs of the wearer in order to prevent leakage of excrement to both sides of the inner body 200.
(Top sheet)
The top sheet 30 has a liquid-permeable property, and examples thereof include a porous or non-porous nonwoven fabric, a porous plastic sheet, and the like. The kind of the raw material fiber of the nonwoven fabric is not particularly limited. Examples thereof include olefin-based fibers such as polyethylene and polypropylene, synthetic fibers such as polyester and polyamide, regenerated fibers such as rayon and cuprammonium fibers, natural fibers such as cotton, and the like, and mixed fibers and composite fibers using two or more of these fibers. Further, the nonwoven fabric may be produced by any process. Examples of the processing method include a spunlace method, a spunbond method, a hot-rolling method, a melt-blowing method, a needle-punching method, a hot-air method, and a point-bonding method. For example, when flexibility and drapability are desired, the spunbond method and the spunlace method are preferred processing methods, and when bulkiness and flexibility are desired, the hot air method, the spot-bonding method, and the hot-rolling method are preferred processing methods.
The top sheet 30 may be composed of one sheet, or may be composed of a laminate sheet obtained by laminating two or more sheets. Similarly, the top sheet 30 may be formed of one sheet or two or more sheets in the planar direction.
Both side portions of the top sheet 30 may be folded back toward the back surface side at the side edges of the absorbent member 50, or may be extended laterally beyond the side edges of the absorbent member 50 without being folded back.
For the purpose of preventing the top sheet 30 from being displaced from the rear surface side member, it is desirable to fix the top sheet 30 to the member adjacent on the rear surface side by a bonding means based on material fusion such as heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing, or a hot melt adhesive. In the illustrated embodiment, the top sheet 30 is fixed to the front surface of the intermediate sheet 40 and the front surface of the portion of the packaging sheet 58 located on the front surface side of the absorber 56 by a hot melt adhesive applied to the back surface thereof.
(intermediate sheet)
In order to rapidly transfer the liquid having passed through the top sheet 30 to the absorbent member, an intermediate sheet (also referred to as a second sheet) 40 having a liquid passing speed higher than that of the top sheet 30 may be provided. The intermediate sheet 40 is used for the following purposes: the liquid is rapidly moved to the absorbent body to improve the absorption performance of the absorbent body and to prevent the phenomenon that the absorbed liquid flows back from the absorbent body. The intermediate sheet 40 may also be omitted.
The intermediate sheet 40 may be made of the same material as the top sheet 30, or may be a spun lace nonwoven fabric, a spunbond nonwoven fabric, an SMS nonwoven fabric, a pulp nonwoven fabric, a mixed sheet of pulp and rayon, a point-bond nonwoven fabric, or a crepe paper. In particular, the air-through nonwoven fabric is preferably bulky. In the air-through nonwoven fabric, a composite fiber having a core-sheath structure is preferably used, and in this case, the resin used for the core may be polypropylene (PP), but Polyester (PET) having high rigidity is preferred. The weight per unit area is preferably 17 to 80g/m2More preferably 25 to 60g/m2. The thickness of the raw material fiber of the nonwoven fabric is preferably 2.0 to 10 dtex. In order to make the nonwoven fabric bulky, it is preferable to use a bias fiber, a hollow fiber, or a bias and hollow fiber having no core at the center as a mixed fiber of all or a part of the raw material fibers.
The intermediate sheet 40 in the illustrated embodiment is shorter than the width of the absorber 56 and disposed at the center, and may be provided over the entire width. The length of the intermediate sheet 40 in the front-rear direction may be the same as the entire length of the diaper, may be the same as the length of the absorbent member 50, or may be within a short length range centered on the liquid-receiving region.
For the purpose of preventing the position of the intermediate sheet 40 relative to the rear surface side member from being displaced, it is desirable that the intermediate sheet 40 is fixed to the member adjacent on the rear surface side by a bonding means by material fusion such as heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing, or a hot melt adhesive. In the illustrated embodiment, the intermediate sheet 40 is fixed to the front surface of the portion of the packaging sheet 58 located on the front surface side of the absorber 56 by a hot melt adhesive applied to the back surface thereof.
(three-dimensional gather part)
The three-dimensional gather portion 60 extends along both side portions of the inner body 200 over the entire front-rear direction LD, rises from the side portions of the inner body 200 toward the front side, and contacts the periphery of the legs of the wearer to prevent side leakage.
In the three-dimensional gather portion 60 of the present embodiment, the root side portion 60B is obliquely raised toward the widthwise central side, and the portion 60A closer to the distal end side than the intermediate portion is obliquely raised toward the widthwise outer side. More specifically, the three-dimensional gather portion 60 of the present embodiment is configured as follows: a band-shaped gather nonwoven fabric 62 having a length equal to the length of the interior body 200 in the front-rear direction is folded back in the width direction WD at a portion to be a terminal end and folded into two parts, and a plurality of elongated gather elastic members 63 are fixed between the folded-back portion and a sheet near the folded-back portion at intervals in the width direction WD while being elongated in the length direction. A base end portion (an end portion on the opposite side of the sheet folded-back portion in the width direction WD) of the three-dimensional gather portion 60 on the opposite side to the tip end portion is a root portion 65 fixed to a side portion on the back side of the inner body 200, and a portion other than the root portion 65 is a main body portion 66 (a portion on the folded-back portion side) extending from the root portion 65. In addition, the main body portion 66 has: a root side portion 60B extending toward the widthwise central side; and a distal end side portion 60A which is folded back at the distal end of the root side portion 60B and extends outward in the width direction. Although the present embodiment is a surface contact type three-dimensional gather portion 60, a line contact type three-dimensional gather portion 60 that is not folded back to the outside in the width direction may be used. The main body portion 66 has both longitudinal end portions thereof formed as folded portions 67 fixed to the side surface of the top sheet 30 in an unfolded state, and has a longitudinal intermediate portion therebetween formed as a free portion 68 which is not fixed, and the gather portion elastic member 63 extending in the longitudinal direction LD is fixed to at least the distal end portion of the free portion 68 in an extended state.
In the three-dimensional gather portion 60 configured as described above, the contraction force of the gather portion elastic member 63 acts to bring the both ends in the front-rear direction into proximity, but the both ends in the front-rear direction in the main body portion 66 are fixed so as not to rise, whereas the both ends form a free portion 68 which is not fixed, and therefore, as shown in fig. 3, only the free portion 68 rises so as to come into contact with the body side. In particular, if the root portion 65 is positioned on the back side of the inner body 200, the free portion 68 rises so as to open outward in the width direction at the crotch portion and the vicinity thereof, and therefore the three-dimensional gather portion 60 comes into surface contact with the periphery of the leg portion, and the fit is improved.
As the gather nonwoven fabric 62, a gather nonwoven fabric obtained by subjecting a nonwoven fabric having excellent softness, uniformity and concealment, such as a spunbond nonwoven fabric (SS, SSs, etc.), an SMS nonwoven fabric (SMS, SSMMS, etc.), or a meltblown nonwoven fabric, to a water repellent treatment using silicon or the like as necessary can be suitably used, and the weight per unit area of the fibers is preferably about 10 to 30g/m2. As the gather portion elastic member 63, a rubber thread or the like can be used. When the spandex rubber wire is used, the thickness is preferably 470 to 1240dtex, and more preferably 620 to 940 dtex. The elongation at fixation is preferably 150 to 350%, more preferably 200 to 300%. The term "elongation" refers to a value obtained by setting the natural length to 100%. Further, as shown in the drawing, the waterproof film 64 may be interposed between the two-folded pleated portion nonwoven fabrics 62, and in this case, the pleated portion nonwoven fabrics 62 may be partially omitted in the portions where the waterproof film 64 is present, but in order to form the appearance and the tactile sensation of the product like a cloth, it is necessary to form at least the outer surface of the three-dimensional pleated portion 60 from the base end to the distal end by the pleated portion nonwoven fabrics 62 as shown in the drawing.
In the curved form in which the main body portion 66 is constituted by the root side portion 60B extending toward the widthwise central side and the distal side portion 60A folded back at the distal end of the root side portion 60B and extending toward the widthwise outer side, as in the three-dimensional gather portion 60 of the present embodiment, the distal side portion 60A and the root side portion 60B are joined together in the collapsed state at the collapsed portion 67, and the root side portion 60B is joined to the top sheet 30 in the collapsed state. For joining the opposed surfaces of the falling portion 67, at least one of hot melt adhesives by various application methods and means based on material fusion such as heat sealing and ultrasonic sealing can be used. In this case, the joining of the root side portion 60B to the top sheet 30 and the joining of the distal end side portion 60A to the root side portion 60B may be performed by the same means, or may be performed by different means. For example, it is preferable that the joining of the root side portion 60B and the top sheet 30 is performed by a hot melt adhesive, and the joining of the tip side portion 60A and the root side portion 60B is performed by material fusion.
The number of gather elastic members 63 provided in the free portion of the three-dimensional gather portion 60 is preferably 2 to 6, and more preferably 3 to 5. The arrangement interval 60d is preferably 3 to 10 mm. With such a configuration, the skin can be easily brought into surface contact within the range where the gather portion elastic member 63 is disposed. The gather portion elastic member 63 may be arranged not only on the distal end side but also on the proximal end side.
At the free portions 68 of the three-dimensional gather 60, at least one of a hot-melt adhesive by various application methods and a fixing means by material fusion such as heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing can be used for bonding the inner layer and the outer layer of the gather nonwoven fabric 62 or fixing the gather elastic member 63 sandwiched therebetween. Since flexibility is impaired if the entire surfaces of the inner layer and the outer layer of the gather nonwoven fabric 62 are bonded, it is preferable that the portions other than the bonded portions of the gather elastic members 63 are not bonded or weakly bonded. In the illustrated embodiment, the structure is as follows: by applying the hot melt adhesive only to the outer peripheral surface of the gather elastic member 63 by an application means such as a coating gun or a glue nozzle and sandwiching the gather elastic member 63 between the inner layer and the outer layer of the gather nonwoven fabric 62, the inner layer and the outer layer of the gather nonwoven fabric 62 and the inner layer and the outer layer of the gather nonwoven fabric 62 are fixed to each other and the gather elastic member 63 is fixed to each other only by the hot melt adhesive applied to the outer peripheral surface of the gather elastic member 63.
Similarly, at least one of a hot melt adhesive by various application methods and a means by material fusion such as heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing can be used for fixing the waterproof film 64 and the gather nonwoven fabric 62 or fixing the folded portion 67 incorporated in the three-dimensional gather portion 60.
The dimensions of the three-dimensional gather portion 60 of the present embodiment can be determined as appropriate, but in the case of an infant diaper, for example, as shown in fig. 3, the rising height (the width-directional length of the main body portion 66 in the expanded state) W2 of the three-dimensional gather portion 60 is preferably 15 to 60mm, and particularly preferably 20 to 40 mm. The separation distance W1 between the innermost fold lines in the state where the three-dimensional gather portion 60 is folded flat parallel to the front surface of the top sheet 30 is preferably 60 to 190mm, and particularly preferably 70 to 140 mm.
(absorbing Member)
The absorbent member 50 has: an absorber 56; and a wrapping sheet 58 covering the entire absorbent body 56. When the shape retention property of the absorber 56 is excellent, the wrapping sheet 58 may be omitted as necessary.
(absorber)
The absorbent body 56 may be formed of an aggregate of fibers. As the fiber aggregate, in addition to an aggregate obtained by stacking short fibers such as cotton pulp or synthetic fibers, a filament (filament) aggregate obtained by opening a tow (fiber bundle) of synthetic fibers such as cellulose acetate, if necessary, can be used. The weight per unit area of the fibers may be, for example, about 100 to 300g/m in the case of stacking cotton pulp or short fibers2In the case of the filament aggregate, the amount of the filament aggregate may be, for example, about 30 to 120g/m2. The fineness of the synthetic fiber is, for example, 1 to 16dtex, preferably 1 to 10dtex, and more preferably 1 to 5 dtex. In the case of the filament assembly, the filaments may be uncrimped fibers, but crimped fibers are preferable. The crimp degree of the crimped fiber may be, for example, 5 to 75 crimps per 2.54 cm, and is preferably10 to 50, more preferably about 15 to 50. In addition, crimped fibers that are uniformly crimped are often used. The superabsorbent polymer particles are preferably dispersed and held in the absorbent body 56.
The absorbent body 56 may have a rectangular shape, but it is also preferable to form the absorbent body 56 itself and the three-dimensional gather portion 60 in an hourglass shape having a narrowed portion 56N with a width narrower at the front-rear direction middle than at the front-rear both sides of the front-rear direction middle as shown in fig. 1, 7, and the like, because the fit around the leg portions is improved.
The size of the absorbent body 56 may be appropriately determined as long as it extends over the front, rear, left, and right sides of the urination opening position, but preferably extends to the peripheral edge portion of the inner body 200 or the vicinity thereof in the front-rear direction LD and the width direction WD. Reference numeral 56X denotes the entire width of the absorber 56.
(super absorbent Polymer particles)
The super absorbent polymer particles may be contained in a part or all of the absorbent body 56. The super absorbent polymer particles include "powder" in addition to "particles". As the super absorbent polymer particles 54, super absorbent polymer particles used in such an absorbent article can be used as they are. The particle size of the super absorbent polymer particles is not particularly limited, but is preferably a particle size of: for example, when the screening (shaking for 5 minutes) using a 500 μm standard sieve (JIS Z8801-1: 2006) is performed and the screening (shaking for 5 minutes) using a 180 μm standard sieve (JIS Z8801-1: 2006) is performed on the particles falling under the sieve in the above screening, the proportion of particles remaining on the 500 μm standard sieve is 30 wt% or less and the proportion of particles remaining on the 180 μm standard sieve is 60 wt% or more.
The material of the super absorbent polymer particles is not particularly limited, but a material having a water absorption capacity of 40g/g or more is preferable. Examples of the super absorbent polymer particles include high absorbent polymer particles such as starch-based, cellulose-based, and synthetic polymer-based, and high absorbent polymer particles such as starch-acrylic acid (salt) -grafted polymer, saponified product of starch-acrylonitrile copolymer, crosslinked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, and acrylic acid (salt) -based polymer can be used. The shape of the super absorbent polymer particles is preferably a powder shape which is generally used, but other shapes may be used.
The superabsorbent polymer particles preferably have a water absorption rate of 70 seconds or less, particularly 40 seconds or less. If the water absorption rate is too slow, so-called back flow in which the liquid supplied into the absorbent body 56 returns to the outside of the absorbent body 56 tends to occur.
The superabsorbent polymer particles preferably have a gel strength of 1000Pa or more. This can effectively suppress the sticky feeling after liquid absorption even when the absorbent body 56 is formed to be bulky.
The weight per unit area of the super absorbent polymer particles can be appropriately determined according to the absorption amount required for the use of the absorbent body 56. Therefore, it cannot be said that the concentration of the water is 50 to 350g/m2. If the weight per unit area of the polymer is less than 50g/m2It is difficult to ensure the absorption amount. If the weight per unit area of the polymer exceeds 350g/m2The effect is saturated.
(packaging sheet)
When the packaging sheet 58 is used, a tissue paper (tissue paper), particularly crepe paper, nonwoven fabric, composite laminated (ポリラミ) nonwoven fabric, a sheet with small holes, or the like can be used as a material thereof. However, a sheet in which superabsorbent polymer particles do not come out is desired. When a nonwoven fabric is used instead of the crepe paper, a hydrophilic SMS nonwoven fabric (SMS, SSMMS, etc.) is particularly preferable, and polypropylene, a polyethylene/polypropylene composite material, or the like can be used as the material. The weight per unit area is desirably 5 to 40g/m2Particularly preferably 10 to 30g/m2。
The packaging method of the packaging sheet 58 may be appropriately determined, but from the viewpoints of ease of production, prevention of leakage of superabsorbent polymer particles from the front and rear edges, and the like, the following method is preferred: the packaging sheet 58 is wound in a cylindrical shape so as to surround the front and back faces and both side faces of the absorbent body 56, and the front and back edge portions thereof are exposed from the front and back of the absorbent body 56, and the overlapped portion of the wound and overlapped portion and the front and back exposed portion are joined by joining means such as a hot melt adhesive or material welding.
(portion not having a liquid-impermeable sheet)
In the form shown in fig. 3 to 5(b), at least the widthwise intermediate portion of the interior body 200 is a portion 203 that does not have the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 on the outer side of the absorbent member 50. That is, in this embodiment, the liquid impermeable sheet 11 that has been conventionally provided in the interior body 200 in general and prevents the bleeding out toward the back side is not provided in the interior body 200. In this embodiment, the waterproof films 64 built in the three-dimensional gather portions 60 extend to the back side of the absorbent member 50 at both ends in the width direction of the interior body 200, and therefore both ends in the width direction become portions having the liquid-impermeable sheets 11, but the three-dimensional gather portions 60 may be in a form in which the waterproof films 64 are not present or in a form in which the waterproof films do not extend to the back side of the interior body 200, and in this case, the entire width direction of the interior body 200 may become a portion having no liquid-impermeable sheets 11 on the outer side of the absorbent member 50. Further, the water-repellent films other than the water-repellent film 64 of the three-dimensional gather portion 60 may be provided outside the absorbent members 50 at both ends in the width direction WD of the interior body 200.
(outer body)
The outer bodies 12F and 12B are composed of a front side outer body 12F which is a part constituting at least a waist portion of the front body portion F, and a rear side outer body 12B which is a part constituting at least a waist portion of the rear body portion B, and the front side outer body 12F and the rear side outer body 12B are discontinuous on the crotch side and separated in the front-rear direction LD. The separation distance 12d may be, for example, about 150 to 250 mm. As shown in fig. 12 to 13B, the outer body 12 may be an integral outer body (outer-body type) which is continuous from the front body portion F to the rear body portion B through the crotch.
The outer cases 12F and 12B have a waist portion corresponding to the waist region T and extending in the front-rear direction. In this embodiment, the rear side outer package 12B is longer in the front-rear direction than the front side outer package 12F, and the front side outer package 12F does not have a portion corresponding to the intermediate region L, but the rear side outer package 12B has a hip cover portion C extending from the waist region T toward the intermediate region L. Although not shown, a groin cover portion extending from the waist region T toward the middle region L may be provided on the front side outer cover 12F, a groin cover portion may be provided but no hip cover portion may be provided, or a portion corresponding to the middle region L may not be provided on both the front side outer cover 12F and the rear side outer cover 12B. In the illustrated embodiment, the lower edge of the hip cover portion C is formed in a straight line along the width direction WD, similarly to the lower edge of the front outer body 12F, but may be curved toward the waist opening side as it goes toward the outer side in the width direction.
As shown in fig. 4 to 5(B), the outer cases 12F and 12B are formed by joining an outer sheet layer 12S and an inner sheet layer 12H, which are located outside and inside the elastic members 15 to 19, which will be described later, by joining means such as hot melt adhesive or fusion bonding. The sheet forming the outer sheet layer 12S and the sheet forming the inner sheet layer 12H may be a common sheet or may be separate sheets. That is, in the former case, the inner sheet layer 12H and the outer sheet layer 12S are formed by an inner portion and an outer portion of one sheet folded back at the edge of the waist opening WO (or at the edge on the crotch side) in a part or the whole of the outer body. In the former system, there is an advantage that the number of sheets is small, and in the latter system, there is an advantage that positional displacement is less likely to occur when the inner sheet layer 12H and the outer sheet layer 12S are bonded. The illustrated embodiment corresponds to the latter, in which the sheet forming the inner sheet layer 12H extends only to the edge of the waist opening WO, but the sheet forming the outer sheet layer 12S is folded back to the inside thereof after passing around the waist-side edge of the sheet of the inner sheet layer 12H, and the folded-back portion 12r extends so as to wrap the waist-side end portion of the interior body 200.
The sheet used for the outer sheet layer 12S and the inner sheet layer 12H may be used without particular limitation, but a nonwoven fabric is preferable, and for example, a nonwoven fabric composed of olefin-based fibers such as polyethylene and polypropylene, synthetic fibers such as polyester and polyamide, or mixed fibers or composite fibers using two or more of these fibers may be used. In additionFurther, the nonwoven fabric may be manufactured by any process. Examples of the processing method include a spunlace method, a spunbond method, a hot-rolling method, a melt-blowing method, a needle-punching method, a hot-air method, and a point-bonding method. When a nonwoven fabric is used, the weight per unit area is preferably about 10 to 30g/m2. Further, it is preferable that the nonwoven fabric for the outer sheet layer 12S and the nonwoven fabric for the inner sheet layer 12H have a thickness of 0.1 to 0.5mm, respectively.
Further, the total weight per unit area of the nonwoven fabric used for the outer covers 12F, 12B (sum of the weight per unit area of the outer sheet layer 12S and the weight per unit area of the inner sheet layer 12H) is preferably about 20 to 60g/m2。
(expansion region and non-expansion region)
In the outer cases 12F and 12B, in order to improve the fit around the waist of the wearer, it is preferable that elastic members 15 to 19 are provided between the outer sheet layer 12S and the inner sheet layer 12H, and an extensible region a2 elastically extensible in the width direction WD in accordance with the extension and contraction of the elastic members 15 to 19 is formed. In the stretch region a2, the outer sheet layer 12S and the inner sheet layer 12H contract with contraction of the elastic member in a naturally long state, and wrinkles or folds are formed, and when the outer sheet layer 12S and the inner sheet layer 12H are stretched in the longitudinal direction of the elastic member, they can be stretched to a predetermined elongation as follows: ultimate elongation without wrinkling. As the elastic members 15 to 19, in addition to a long and thin elastic member (illustrated example) such as a rubber thread, a known elastic member such as a belt, a net, or a film may be used without particular limitation. As the elastic members 15 to 19, synthetic rubber or natural rubber may be used.
The outer sheets 12F and 12B are bonded to each other or the elastic members 15 to 19 are fixed to each other by being sandwiched between the outer sheet 12S and the inner sheet 12H, and at least one of a hot-melt adhesive by various coating methods and a fixing means by material fusion such as heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing can be used. Since flexibility is impaired when the entire surfaces of the exterior bodies 12F and 12B are firmly fixed, it is preferable that the parts other than the bonded parts of the elastic members 15 to 19 are not bonded or weakly bonded. In the illustrated embodiment, the structure is as follows: the elastic members 15 to 19 are fixed to the two sheet layers 12S and 12H and the two sheet layers 12S and 12H are fixed to each other only by the hot-melt adhesive applied to the outer peripheral surfaces of the elastic members 15 to 19 by applying the hot-melt adhesive only to the outer peripheral surfaces of the elastic members 15 to 19 by applying means such as a coating gun or a glue nozzle and sandwiching the adhesive between the two sheet layers 12S and 12H. The elastic members 15 to 19 may be fixed to the outer sheet 12S and the inner sheet 12H only at both ends in the stretching direction in the stretching region.
To explain the elastic members 15 to 19 in the illustrated embodiment in more detail, the plurality of waist elastic members 17 are attached between the outer sheet 12S and the inner sheet 12H at the waist portion W of the outer bodies 12F, 12B with intervals in the front-rear direction so as to be continuous over the entire width direction WD. Further, 1 or more of the waist elastic members 17 disposed in the region adjacent to the waist lower portion U may overlap the interior body 200, or may be disposed on both sides in the width direction thereof excluding the center in the width direction overlapping the interior body 200. The waist elastic member 17 is preferably provided with about 3 to 22 elastic members having a thickness of 155 to 1880dtex, more preferably about 470 to 1240dtex (in the case of synthetic rubber, in the case of natural rubber, the cross-sectional area is 0.05 to 1.5 mm) at intervals of 4 to 12mm2Particularly preferably about 0.1 to 1.0mm2) The elongation of the waist portion W in the width direction WD based on the arrangement of (1) is preferably 150 to 400%, and particularly preferably about 220 to 320%. In addition, it is not necessary to use waist elastic members 17 having the same thickness or the same elongation in both the front and rear directions LD of the waist portion W, and the elastic members 17 may have different thicknesses or elongations in, for example, the upper and lower portions of the waist portion W.
A plurality of waist lower elastic members 15 and 19 made of an elongated elastic member are attached between the outer sheet 12S and the inner sheet 12H at the waist lower portion U of the outer cases 12F and 12B at intervals in the front-rear direction.
As waist lower elastic members 15, 19Preferably, about 5 to 30 pieces of the rubber are provided at intervals of 1 to 15mm, particularly preferably 3 to 8mm, and the thickness of the rubber is 155 to 1880dtex, particularly preferably about 470 to 1240dtex (in the case of synthetic rubber, in the case of natural rubber, the cross-sectional area is 0.05 to 1.5mm2Particularly preferably about 0.1 to 1.0mm2) The elongation of the waist lower portion U in the width direction WD based on the arrangement of (1) is preferably 200 to 350%, and particularly preferably about 240 to 300%.
Cover elastic members 16 made of elongated elastic members are attached between the outer sheet 12S and the inner sheet 12H in the hip cover portion C of the rear outer package 12B.
The cover elastic member 16 is preferably provided with 1 or a plurality of elastic members having a thickness of 155 to 1880dtex (in the case of synthetic rubber, a cross-sectional area of 0.05 to 1.5mm in the case of natural rubber, approximately 470 to 1240 dtex) at intervals in the front-rear direction2Particularly preferably about 0.1 to 1.0mm2) The elongation percentage of the hip cover part C in the width direction WD based on the rubber thread of (1) is preferably 150 to 300%, and particularly preferably 180 to 260%.
When the groin cover portion is provided on the front side outer package 12F, the cover portion elastic member may be provided in the same manner.
In the case where the elastic members 15, 16, and 19 are provided in the longitudinal direction range of the absorbent body 56, as in the waist lower portion U or the hip cover portion C of the embodiment shown in fig. 2 and the like, the widthwise middle portion (preferably including the whole of the inner and outer joining portions 201 and 202) including part or all of the portion overlapping the absorbent body 56 in the widthwise direction WD is set as the non-stretchable region a1 and both widthwise sides thereof are set as the stretchable regions a2, in order to prevent the absorbent body 56 from shrinking in the widthwise direction WD in part or all of the region. The entire waist portion W in the width direction WD is preferably set as the stretchable region a2, but a non-stretchable region a1 may be provided at the middle in the width direction as in the waist lower portion U. Of course, as in the embodiment shown in fig. 11, the non-stretchable region a1 may not be provided without cutting the elastic member.
Such a stretch region a2 and a non-stretch region a1 may be formed by: the elastic members 15 to 17, 19 are supplied between the inner sheet 12H and the outer sheet 12S, the elastic members 15, 16, 19 are fixed by a hot melt adhesive at least at both ends in the stretching direction in the stretching region A2, the elastic members 15, 16, 19 are not fixed in the region that becomes the non-stretching region A1, and the elastic members 15, 16, 19 are cut by pressing and heating at a position in the middle in the width direction or almost the entire elastic members 15, 16, 19 are finely cut by pressing and heating in the region that becomes the non-stretching region A1, thereby maintaining the stretchability in the stretching region A2 and eliminating the stretchability in the non-stretching region A1. In the former case, as shown in fig. 4, in the non-stretch region a1, the remaining portions after cutting continuous with the elastic members 15, 16, 19 of the stretch region a2 remain between the outer sheet layer 12S and the inner sheet layer 12H as the extra elastic members 18 in a state of being individually contracted to a natural length, and in the latter case, although not shown, the remaining portions after cutting continuous with the elastic members 15, 16, 19 of the stretch region a2 and the cut pieces of the elastic members not continuous with the elastic members 15, 16, 19 of both the stretch regions a2 remain between the outer sheet layer 12S and the inner sheet layer 12H as the extra elastic members in a state of being individually contracted to a natural length.
(inner and outer joint part)
The fixation of the interior body 200 to the exterior bodies 12F, 12B may be performed by a bonding means by material fusion such as heat sealing or ultrasonic sealing, or a hot-melt adhesive. The inner and outer joint portions 201 and 202 that fix the inner body 200 and the outer bodies 12F and 12B together may be provided over substantially the entire region where the two overlap, for example, at portions of the inner body 200 other than both end portions in the width direction.
(liquid-impermeable sheet)
In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 21(B), a liquid-impermeable sheet 11 made of a resin film is provided on the outer side of the outer sheet layer 12S in the outer covers 12F and 12B, and the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 covers the entire part 203 of the inner body 200 not having the liquid-impermeable sheet 11. This embodiment is different from the conventional embodiment in that the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is provided on the inner side of the outer cases 12F and 12B as shown in fig. 21 (a). The liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is a decorative printed sheet on which a decorative print 27 is applied as shown in fig. 2 and 7, and may include a sheet dedicated for decoration without providing a decorative printed sheet.
The liquid-impermeable sheet 11 can be appropriately determined in size and position in the front-rear direction and the width direction as long as it can cover the entire portion 203 of the interior body 200 not having the liquid-impermeable sheet 11. In general, in the case of the exterior two-part type, the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is preferably provided with a narrower full width 11x in the width direction range of the narrowest width portion of the interior body 200 (in the illustrated form, the full width 200x of the interior body 200) as shown in fig. 8, and in the case of the exterior one-part type, the liquid-impermeable sheet is preferably provided with a narrower full width 11x in the width direction range of the narrowest width portion of the exterior body 12 and the interior body 200 (in the illustrated form, the exterior body 12) in which the narrowest width portion is wider, as shown in fig. 12. The full width 11x of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is preferably 10mm or more larger than the full width of the portion 203 of the inner body 200 not having the liquid-impermeable sheet 11. In particular, in the case where the three-dimensional gather portion 60 has the root portion 65 fixed to the side portion on the back side of the interior body 200 in order to improve the leakage resistance, it is preferable that the root portion 65 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 have an overlapping portion of 5mm or more in the width direction. In the form in which the three-dimensional gather portion 60 includes the waterproof film 64 in the root portion 65 as shown in the figure, the waterproof film of the root portion 65 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 preferably have an overlapping portion of 5mm or more in the width direction.
The front-back direction dimension 11y of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is the same as the front-back direction dimension of the absorbent member 50 as shown in fig. 8, and the liquid-impermeable sheet may be provided within the same front-back direction range as the absorbent member 50, but it is preferable that the liquid-impermeable sheet is longer than the absorbent member 50 and is provided within a larger front-back direction range than the absorbent member 50 as shown in fig. 9(a) and 9 (b). The liquid-impermeable sheet 11 may be folded back toward the inside of the outer casings 12F and 12B at the waist opening similarly to the cover sheet 13 shown in fig. 9(a) and 9(B), but when the liquid-impermeable sheet is provided only on the outside of the outer casings 12F and 12B as shown in fig. 8, the edge of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 on the waist opening WO side is preferably separated toward the crotch side with respect to the waist opening WO, and particularly preferably positioned on the crotch side with respect to the waist portion W.
In particular, in the case of the exterior two-part type as in this embodiment, the position where the front side exterior body 12F and the rear side exterior body 12B are separated in the front-rear direction LD corresponds to the supply position of urine, and is a region where leakage prevention is particularly important. In this embodiment, although the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is positioned outside the exterior materials 12F, 12B, in such an exterior-two-division structure, at the position where the front-side exterior material 12F and the rear-side exterior material 12B are separated in the front-rear direction LD, the portion 203 of the interior material 200 not having the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 can be covered with the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 without interposing the exterior materials 12F, 12B therebetween, and therefore urine does not easily permeate into the interior materials 12F, 12B and seeps out to the outside. In particular, in the case where the three-dimensional gather portion 60 has the root portion 65 fixed to the side portion on the back side of the interior body 200, the root portion 65 of the three-dimensional gather portion 60 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 can be directly bonded together at the position where the front side exterior body 12F and the rear side exterior body 12B are separated in the front-rear direction LD, and a structure having excellent leakage resistance can be formed. Further, since the cover sheet 13 described later is provided over the front side exterior body 12F and the rear side exterior body 12B, the appearance and the texture are formed so as to be continuous over the front side exterior body 12F and the rear side exterior body 12B.
The material of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is not particularly limited, and for example, a plastic film made of an olefin resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene may be used. The liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is preferably made of a material having liquid impermeability and moisture permeability, which is preferably used from the viewpoint of preventing stuffiness. As a plastic film having moisture permeability, a microporous plastic film obtained by mixing an inorganic filler with an olefin resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene, molding the mixture into a sheet, and then stretching the sheet in one or two axial directions is widely used.
The liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is provided with a decorative print such as a design (including a figure such as a painting or a single-dot pattern), a functional display such as a use method or a use aid, a size, or a logo display such as a manufacturer's name, a product name, or a characteristic function. When a resin film having high opacity is used for the liquid-impermeable sheet 11, the outer surface needs to be printed, but when a resin film having high transparency is used, for example, the printed portion can be provided on the inner surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11.
In the case of the exterior integral type, the inner surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is bonded to the outer sheet layer 12S of the exterior as the opposite surface by the hot-melt adhesive 11H, and in the case of the exterior two-piece type, the inner surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is bonded to the outer sheet layer 12S of the front exterior 12F and the rear exterior 12B and the back surface of the interior 200 by the hot-melt adhesive 11H. In the liquid-impermeable sheet 11, it is preferable that at least both side end portions (preferably, the entire width direction) are continuously bonded in the product longitudinal direction in a main region excluding the front and rear end portions thereof. In the form in which the three-dimensional gather portion 60 includes the waterproof film 64 in the root portion 65 as shown in the figure, the width of all the adhesive layers (in the case where the adhesive layer is one layer, the layer) located between the waterproof film 64 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 in the portion where the waterproof film 64 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 overlap each other in the root portion 65 is preferably 3mm or more, particularly preferably 5mm or more, and in the case where the adhesive layers are multiple layers, it is preferable that all the adhesive layers overlap each other, and the width of the portion where the adhesive layers overlap each other is preferably 3mm or more. The front and rear end portions of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 are not bonded to the outer covers 12F and 12B, but may be bonded to the outer covers in the same manner as the regions between the front and rear end portions.
(cover sheet)
The entire outer surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is covered with a cover sheet 13 made of nonwoven fabric. Thus, even if the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is provided outside the outer cases 12F and 12B, the outer surface of the product such as a cloth can be formed. Further, since the decorative print 27 is provided on the liquid-impermeable sheet 11, not only is it unnecessary to use a dedicated decorative print 27 sheet, but also the decorative print 27 can be seen through the cover sheet 13, but the decorative print 27 is close to the outer surface of the product and can be visually confirmed more clearly.
In the illustrated embodiment, the entire outer surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is covered with one cover sheet 13, but the configuration may be such that: cover sheets 13 and the like are provided on the front body portion and the back body portion, respectively, and the entire outer surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is covered with a plurality of cover sheets.
The range of the cover sheet 13 in the front-rear direction is not particularly limited, and may be the same as or larger than the liquid-impermeable sheet 11. Reference numeral 13y in the figure indicates the entire length of the cover piece 13. For example, it may be: as shown in fig. 9(a) and 9(B), at least one of the front body portion F and the rear body portion B is formed such that the cover piece 13 extends toward the waist opening WO, passes around the edge of the waist opening WO, and is folded back toward the inside of the outer body 12F, 12B. Thus, the front edge and the rear edge of the cover sheet 13 are not exposed to the outer surface of the product, and the appearance is improved. In addition, the front edge and the rear edge of the cover sheet 13 are less likely to be peeled off by rubbing against the clothes.
In particular, as shown in the drawings, if the cover sheet 13 extends to the end of the interior body 200 on the waist opening WO side, the folded-back portion 12r of the outer sheet layer 12S of the exterior bodies 12F, 12B can be omitted. In this case, the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 may be folded back toward the inside of the outer casing 12F, 12B, as in the case of the cover sheet 13, but it is preferable that: as shown in the figure, the edge of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 on the waist opening WO side is separated toward the crotch side with respect to the waist opening WO.
The width direction range of the cover sheet 13 is not particularly limited, and considering the manufacturing method described later, it is preferably the same as the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 as shown in fig. 10, but may be a range wider than the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 as shown in fig. 3. Reference numeral 13x in the figure denotes the full width of the cover sheet 13. However, if the cover sheet 13 extends to the stretch region a2, shrinkage wrinkles are formed in the cover sheet 13, and therefore, the side end portions of the cover sheet 13 are easily peeled off, or wrinkles become noticeable and an unnatural appearance. On the other hand, if the cover sheet 13 is provided in the width direction range of the non-stretch region a1, wrinkles are less in the entire range of the cover sheet 13, and the appearance is excellent, which is preferable. Further, it is more preferable if both side edges of the cover sheet 13 are located on the widthwise central side than both side edges of the absorbent member 50. That is, if the side end portion of the cover sheet 13 is located at a portion having low rigidity or is easily deformed, peeling may occur even if the side end portion is bonded to the opposite surface. In addition, if the side end portions of the cover sheet 13 easily rub against the legs of the wearer, the fear of occurrence of peeling is higher, and there is also a fear that: the step causes the skin to feel worse. On the other hand, if the side end portion of the cover sheet 13 is located in a region having the absorbent member 50, that is, a region having a higher rigidity than the surroundings, and being less likely to deform and rub against the legs of the wearer, the skin feel is less likely to deteriorate, and the side end portion is less likely to peel off when the side end portion is bonded to the facing surface. In order to form such a structure, it is necessary to provide the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 such as the waterproof film 64 of the three-dimensional gather portion 60 on the back side of both side portions of the absorbent member 50 in the interior body 200, and to narrow the width of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 provided outside the exterior bodies 12F, 12B.
The type of fibers and the method of processing the fibers to bond (crosslink) the fibers of the nonwoven fabric used for the cover sheet 13 are not particularly limited, and the same nonwoven fabric as the material of the outer casings 12F and 12B may be appropriately selected, but it is desirable to use a hot air nonwoven fabric. The cover sheet 13 preferably has a weight per unit area of about 20 to 40g/m2. The thickness of the cover sheet 13 is preferably 0.3 to 1.0mm, and when the inner sheet layer 12H and the outer sheet layer 12S are nonwoven fabrics, the thickness of the cover sheet 13 may be smaller than the thickness of each of the inner sheet layer 12H and the outer sheet layer 12S, but is preferably larger than the thickness of each of the inner sheet layer 12H and the outer sheet layer 12S. On the other hand, in the case where the inner sheet layer 12H and the outer sheet layer 12S are nonwoven fabrics, if the fiber orientations of the inner sheet layer 12H, the outer sheet layer 12S, and the cover sheet 13 are aligned in the width direction WD, the longitudinal and transverse tensile elongations (or the aspect ratio of the tensile elongations) are close to each other, and therefore, when deformation occurs during use, the inner sheet layer 12H, the outer sheet layer 12S, and the cover sheet 13 can be deformed integrally, and the side end portions of the cover sheet 13 are less likely to peel off, which is preferable. About the cover sheet 13Preferably, the portion overlapping the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 or the region having the decorative print 27 is a single layer, but may be two layers in other regions, for example, as shown in fig. 22, or may be: the two side portions of the cover sheet 13 are folded back toward the center in the width direction WD or a nonwoven fabric is separately bonded to form a two-layer structure, and an elastic member 13G is attached between the layers along the front-rear direction LD to allow the portions to expand and contract in the front-rear direction.
The cover sheet 13 may be a non-porous nonwoven fabric having no holes penetrating through the front and back surfaces, but in this embodiment, if the cover sheet is a porous nonwoven fabric having a plurality of holes 14 penetrating through the front and back surfaces at intervals, not only air permeability is improved, but also visibility of decorative printing of the liquid-impermeable sheet is improved, which is preferable.
When the cover sheet 13 is made of a perforated nonwoven fabric, the cover sheet 13 may have a region where the perforations 14 are not present in a part of the front-rear direction LD, but if the effect of improving air permeability is taken into consideration, it is desirable to provide the perforations 14 throughout the entire front-rear direction. On the other hand, in the case where the cover sheet 13 has regions where the holes 14 are not present at both ends in the width direction WD, if the holes 14 are opened by a method other than punching by a cutter, as will be described later, the fibers of the peripheral portions 14e of the holes 14 are retracted outward or in the vertical direction, the peripheral portions 14e of the holes 14 are warped, and the thickness of the hole regions is made thicker than the non-hole regions, so that when the material of the cover sheet 13 is stored in a wound state, the non-hole regions are loosely wound, and wrinkles or creases may be formed in the non-hole regions at both sides. Therefore, it is desirable to form the holes 14 over the entire width direction WD as shown in the drawing. Further, by forming holes in the cover sheet 13 in the diaper manufacturing process, it is possible to use a non-porous material and also to control the formation positions of the holes arbitrarily, but there are the following problems: since the hole forming apparatus is introduced, the entire manufacturing becomes enormous, which increases the cost and the burden of maintenance, and it is difficult to adjust the hole shape and flexibility in a high-speed production line. Therefore, it is preferable to use a material having holes formed throughout the front-rear direction and the entire width direction.
The planar shape (opening shape) of each hole 14 may be set as appropriate, and may be any shape such as a perfect circle as shown in fig. 17(c) and 17(e), an ellipse as shown in fig. 17(d), a triangle, a rectangle, a rhombus, or the like, or a star, a cloud, or the like, in addition to the long hole shape as shown in fig. 17(a) and 17 (b). The size of each hole 14 is not particularly limited, but the maximum size 14L in the front-rear direction LD is preferably 0.4 to 1.8mm, particularly preferably 0.8 to 1.3mm, and the maximum size 14W in the width direction WD is preferably 0.3 to 1.5mm, particularly preferably 0.5 to 1.0 mm. In the case where the shape of the hole 14 is a shape elongated in one direction, such as a long hole shape, an oval shape, a rectangular shape, a diamond shape, or the like, the maximum dimension in the longitudinal direction is preferably 2.5 times or less the maximum dimension in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. In addition, when the shape of the hole 14 is a shape elongated in one direction, the longitudinal direction of the hole 14 is desirably the front-rear direction LD, but may be the width direction WD or an oblique direction.
The area and area ratio of each hole 14 may be determined as appropriate, but the area is preferably about 0.2 to 2.5mm2(particularly preferably about 0.5 to 1.5 mm)2) The area ratio is preferably about 1.0 to 15.0% (particularly preferably about 5.0 to 10.0%).
The planar arrangement of the holes 14 may be determined as appropriate, but a regularly repeating planar arrangement is preferable, and may be regularly repeated, such as an oblique square lattice as shown in fig. 17(a), a hexagonal lattice as shown in fig. 17(b) (these are also referred to as a staggered pattern), a square lattice as shown in fig. 17(c), a rectangular lattice as shown in fig. 17(d), or a parallel lattice as shown in fig. 17(e) (in the illustrated case, a plurality of parallel oblique nematic groups are provided so as to intersect each other in 2 groups), or the like (including a shape in which the oblique nematic groups are inclined at an angle of less than 90 degrees with respect to the front-rear direction LD), or may be regularly repeated, such that the groups of the holes 14 (the arrangement of the group units may be regular or irregular, or may be in a pattern or character pattern, or the like).
The interval 14y in the front-rear direction and the interval 14x in the width direction of the holes 14 may be appropriately determined, but in consideration of air permeability, it is desirable to set them within a range of 0.5 to 8mm, particularly 1 to 5mm, and if the interval 14y in the front-rear direction and the interval 14x in the width direction are averaged, it is preferable to set the average value thereof within a range of 1 to 5 mm. In particular, as shown in fig. 17(d), if the shape of the hole 14 is formed to be elongated in the front-rear direction LD, and the rows of holes 14 arranged in the front-rear direction at a front-rear direction interval 14y narrower than the maximum dimension 14L of the hole 14 in the front-rear direction LD are repeated at predetermined intervals in the width direction WD, and the width direction interval 14x of the hole 14 is larger than the maximum dimension 14L of the hole 14 in the front-rear direction LD (more preferably, 3 times or more the width direction dimension 14W of the hole 14), it is preferable that the air permeability be significantly improved without impairing flexibility or bulkiness, and the sheet tensile strength in the front-rear direction important in manufacturing be not reduced.
As the cross-sectional shape of the hole 14, any of the following modes may be used: a1 st aspect in which, as shown in fig. 14(a) to 14(c), the thickness of the nonwoven fabric becomes thinner from the periphery of the hole 14 toward the edge of the hole 14, and the edge of the hole 14 is located in the middle of the nonwoven fabric in the thickness direction; a2 nd aspect in which, as shown in fig. 15(a) to 15(c), the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 is warped to the front side, and the warping height 14h is substantially uniform; and a 3 rd aspect in which, as shown in fig. 16(a) -16 (c), a peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 is warped to the front side, and the peripheral portion 14e has an opposing portion with the highest warp height 14i and a portion with the lowest warp height 14j, wherein the portion with the lowest warp height 14j is an opposing portion opposing in a direction perpendicular to the opposing portion with the highest warp height 14 i. From the viewpoint of improving air permeability, the 2 nd and 3 rd embodiments in which the portion having the hole 14 is thicker than the periphery are desirable, and particularly, in the 3 rd embodiment, the gap formed by the difference between the lift heights 14i and 14j of the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 contributes to improvement of air permeability, and is therefore preferable. In the embodiments 2 and 3, the lift heights 14g, 14h, and 14i (apparent heights in a state where no pressure is applied, as measured by an optical microscope) are preferably about 0.2 to 1.2mm, and in the embodiment 3, the highest lift height 14i is preferably about 1.1 to 1.4 times the lowest lift height 14 j.
The holes 14 may be punched holes whose edge portions are formed by the cut ends of the fibers, or may be non-punched holes (the fiber density of the peripheral portion is high) as follows: there is almost no cut end of the fiber at the edge of the hole 14, and the non-punched hole is formed by inserting a needle into the space between the fibers and expanding. The former is suitable for the above-mentioned embodiment 1, and the latter is suitable for the above-mentioned embodiments 2 and 3. For example, if the hole 14 having a shape long in one direction is formed by inserting a needle, the fibers of the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 are retracted outward or in the vertical direction to tilt the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14, and the tilt height i of the opposing portion in the longitudinal direction of the hole 14 is higher than the tilt height j of the opposing portion in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. In the above-described 2 nd and 3 rd embodiments, the fiber density of the edge portion of the hole 14 where the peripheral portion 14e is raised toward the surface may be lower than that of the peripheral portion, but it is preferably about the same or higher. In addition, it is desirable that the fibers of the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 are welded to each other, but may not be welded.
In the inner surface of the cover sheet 13, when the front-rear direction range and the width direction range of the cover sheet 13 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 coincide with each other, the inner surface of the cover sheet is bonded only to the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 with a hot-melt adhesive 13H (see fig. 10 for a form in which the width direction range coincides with each other), and when the cover sheet 13 is made larger than the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 as shown in fig. 3, a portion of the inner surface of the cover sheet that overlaps the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is bonded to the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 with the hot-melt adhesive 13H, and a portion of the inner surface of the cover sheet that protrudes from the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is bonded to the exterior body with the hot-melt adhesive 13H.
In the cover sheet 13, at least both side ends, preferably the entire width direction WD, are bonded to the facing surface in a main region excluding the front and rear end portions (2 to 10mm), and in this case, the side ends of the cover sheet 13 are bonded to the facing surface, and therefore, the boundaries are integrated without gaps and are inconspicuous, which is preferable. The front and rear end portions of the cover sheet 13 are not bonded to the exterior bodies 12F and 12B, but may be bonded to the exterior bodies as in the main region. In particular, when the outer sheet layer 12S is a nonwoven fabric and the positions of both side edges of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 and the positions of both side edges of the cover sheet 13 are matched, at least both side end portions of the inner surface of the cover sheet 13 are bonded to the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 with the hot-melt adhesive 13H in the regions other than the front and rear end portions thereof, and at least both side end portions of the inner surface of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 are bonded to the outer cases 12F and 12B with the hot-melt adhesive 11H in the regions other than the front and rear end portions thereof, in this way, both side end portions of the cover sheet 13 are bonded to the outer sheet layer 12S made of a nonwoven fabric through the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 made of a resin film, and therefore, the bonding between both side end portions of the cover sheet 13 and the outer sheet layer 12S becomes strong.
In the case of a patch 13 with holes 14, one preferred bonding configuration is: as shown in fig. 18(a) to 18(d), in the bonding region of at least one of the inner surface and the outer surface of the cover sheet 13, the hot melt adhesive 13H is not present on the center side of the peripheral edge portion 14i of the region overlapping the hole 14, and the hot melt adhesive 13H is present in a continuous sheet shape except for the peripheral edge portion 14i of the region overlapping the hole 14. Since the hot melt adhesive 13H is not present on the center side of the peripheral edge portion 14i of the region overlapping the hole 14, the air permeability is excellent. Further, such an adhesive structure is provided only on the surface opposite to the surface in contact with the skin, and the portion having such an adhesive structure is less likely to have a sticky skin feel by the hot-melt adhesive 13H, and the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 is reliably fixed to the opposite surface.
As a representative bonding state, the following state can be exemplified: as shown in fig. 18(a) and 18(b), the hot melt adhesive 13H is not present in the region overlapping the hole 14, and the hot melt adhesive 13H is present in a continuous surface shape except the region overlapping the hole 14; as shown in fig. 18(c) and 18(d), the hot melt adhesive 13H overflows the peripheral edge 14i of the region overlapping the hole 14, but the hot melt adhesive 13H does not exist on the center side of the peripheral edge 14i of the region overlapping the hole 14, and the hot melt adhesive 13H exists in a continuous surface shape except the peripheral edge 14i of the region overlapping the hole 14. The former state is particularly desirable, but since the peripheral edge portion 14i of the region overlapping the hole 14 is a portion close to the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 and the cover sheet 13 has a certain thickness, even if the hot melt adhesive 13H is overflowed at this portion as in the latter case, the hot melt adhesive 13H hardly comes into direct contact with the surface of the cover sheet 13 opposite to the adhering surface when the surface is contacted by hand at the portion where the surface is adhered only on the opposite side to the surface contacting the skin. The width of the hot melt adhesive 13H protruding from the peripheral edge 14i of the region overlapping the hole 14 is preferably not more than half the thickness of the cover sheet 13 and not more than about 0.5 mm. It is desirable that the hot melt adhesive 13H is not present in a portion of 80% or more of the area of the region overlapping the hole 14.
The cross-sectional shape of the hole 14 in the cover sheet 13 is not particularly limited, but if the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 is formed as a warped portion warped toward the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 as described above, the hole diameter as viewed from the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 side is smaller than the hole diameter as viewed from the surface opposite to the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 side. Therefore, the hot-melt adhesive 13H is less likely to be touched when the surface opposite to the adhesive surface is touched by hand at a portion where only the surface opposite to the surface in contact with the skin is adhered. Further, since the warp portion supports the cover sheet 13 against the facing surface like a support column, the warp portion is bulkier than a non-porous nonwoven fabric having the same weight per unit area, and is also more excellent in air permeability. In addition, since the bonding between the cover sheet 13 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is easily lifted in the region other than the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 (although the hot-melt adhesive 13H is drawn in fig. 18(a) to 18(d) so as to fill the space between the sheets without a gap, the substantial amount of application is small and a gap is easily generated), the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 is reliably bonded, and incomplete bonding is achieved in the other region (the substantial bonding area is small), whereby excellent flexibility and a soft feeling can be obtained.
Such a bonded structure can be produced by the following method: the hot melt adhesive is applied in a continuous surface form to the bonding surface of the perforated nonwoven fabric without using air, and is bonded to the opposite surface. The method is based on the following new findings: if the hot-melt adhesive is applied to the bonding surface of the perforated nonwoven fabric in a continuous surface without using air, an opening (hole) is opened in the center of the portion of the hot-melt adhesive overlapping the hole of the perforated nonwoven fabric by the surface tension of the hot-melt adhesive before the application to the opposite surface, and the opening is expanded to the periphery of the hole of the perforated nonwoven fabric. That is, if such a bonding method is employed, as shown by the change indicated by the arrow in fig. 19, after the hot melt adhesive 13H is applied in a continuous surface form to the perforated nonwoven fabric and before the nonwoven fabric is bonded to the target member, an opening (hole) H is opened in the center of the portion of the hot melt adhesive 13H overlapping the hole 14 of the perforated nonwoven fabric due to the surface tension of the hot melt adhesive 13H, and the opening H is expanded to the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 of the perforated nonwoven fabric. Therefore, after the porous nonwoven fabric is bonded to the target member, as in the examples shown in fig. 18(a) to 18(d), the hot melt adhesive 13H is not present in most of the pores 14, and the hot melt adhesive 13H does not fall off or ooze out of the pores 14 due to air, so that a sticky skin feel is less likely to occur when the face opposite to the bonding face is touched with a hand.
As a hot-melt film applicator for applying a hot-melt adhesive in a continuous surface form without using air, there can be suitably used: slot coating, in which a coating head (die) is brought into contact with the bonding surface of the perforated nonwoven fabric, and a hot-melt adhesive is extruded from a slit provided at the tip of the coating head in the CD direction (direction perpendicular to the MD direction (conveying direction of the manufacturing line)) to coat the perforated nonwoven fabric; or a non-contact slit coating method, in which a hot-melt adhesive is extruded from a slit in the CD direction provided at the end of an application head (die) in a state in which the application head is lifted from the bonding surface of the perforated nonwoven fabric, and the hot-melt adhesive is extended by a difference in the conveyance speed from the perforated nonwoven fabric, thereby applying the adhesive in an extremely thin film form.
The bonding conditions may be appropriately determined, but in order to quickly move the hot melt adhesive 13H overlapping the hole 14 to the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14 and firmly bond the peripheral portion 14e of the hole 14, at least one of the following conditions is desirably satisfied.
Melt viscosity (temperature 140 ℃) of hot melt adhesive: 3000-2600 mpas
Melt viscosity (temperature 160 ℃) of hot melt adhesive: 1150 to 1550mpas
Temperature when the porous nonwoven fabric was coated with the hot melt adhesive: 110 to 150 DEG C
Coating amount of hot melt adhesive to perforated nonwoven fabric: 1.0 to 8.0g/m2
Open time after application of hot melt adhesive (open time): 0.1 to 1.0 second
< other forms >
As shown in fig. 23 to 25(b), the following may be used: in the conventional structure in which the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is attached to the interior body 200, the cover sheet 13 extending in the front-rear direction is provided to penetrate through the outer sheet layer 12S of the exterior bodies 12F, 12B to the outside. In the case where the decorative print 27 is provided to the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 in this embodiment, if the exterior two-part structure is adopted as in the illustrated embodiment and the portion of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 having the decorative print 27 is exposed at the portion separated in the front-rear direction LD from the front-side exterior body 12F and the rear-side exterior body 12B, the decorative print 27 can be seen through the cover sheet 13 only at the portion covered with the cover sheet 13, and therefore, the visibility of the decorative print 27 of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 can be improved. Further, since the cover sheet 13 extends at least from the front side exterior body 12F to the rear side exterior body 12B in the front-rear direction LD, appearance and texture are continuous over the front side exterior body 12F and the rear side exterior body 12B.
In the case where the cover sheet 13 extending in the front-rear direction is provided through the outer side of the outer sheet layer 12S in the outer cases 12F and 12B while the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is attached to the inner body 200 as shown in fig. 23 to 25(B), it is not necessary to cover the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 to the portion of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 covered with the outer bodies 12F and 12B, and therefore, it is also a preferable embodiment to position the front edge of the cover sheet 13 on the rear side of the front edge of the absorbent member 50 and position the rear edge of the cover sheet 13 on the front side of the rear edge of the absorbent member 50 as shown in fig. 25(a) and 25 (B). That is, if the front edge and the rear edge of the cover sheet 13 are located in a portion with low rigidity or are easily deformed, they are easily separated from the facing surface, and even if they are bonded to the facing surface, they may be peeled off. Further, if the front edge and the rear edge of the cover sheet 13 are separated or peeled from the facing surfaces, wrinkles at the boundary portion between the cover sheet 13 and the exterior body are likely to be conspicuous, resulting in an unnatural appearance. On the other hand, if the front edge and the rear edge of the cover sheet 13 are located in a region having the absorbent member 50, that is, a region having higher rigidity than the surrounding region and less likely to deform, the cover sheet is less likely to separate or peel from the facing surface, and the following can be prevented: wrinkles at the boundary between the cover sheet 13 and the outer sheet 12S become conspicuous and give an unnatural appearance.
The decorative printing sheet may be formed only as the liquid impermeable sheet 11, or may be formed as follows: instead of providing the decorative print 27 on the liquid-impermeable sheet 11, or providing the decorative print 27 on the liquid-impermeable sheet 11, a print sheet 25 dedicated for decoration is provided at an appropriate position as shown in fig. 23 to 25 (b). Reference numeral 25H denotes a hot melt adhesive for attaching the printing sheet 25. The position where the printing sheet 25 is provided is not particularly limited, but, for example, as shown in the figure, if the following form is adopted: when the printing sheet 25 is provided on the outer side of the outer sheet layer 12S in the outer cases 12F and 12B and the cover sheet 13 is further bonded to the outer side thereof, almost the entire portion of the printing sheet 25 having the decorative printing is covered with only the cover sheet 13, and the decorative printing is excellent in visibility.
The base material of the printing sheet 25 is not particularly limited as long as it is suitable for printing, and for example, paper such as crepe paper, a resin film, or the like can be used. When crepe paper is used, the thickness is preferably 100 to 150 μm, and the density is preferably 100 to 200kg/m3. The crepe paper with the thickness and the density can pass through the crepe paper with the weight per unit area of 10g/m2The above-mentioned fiber is produced with a crepe ratio of about 10%. And, the density can be calculated from the weight and thickness per unit area. In addition, the crepe ratio is a value calculated from ((circumferential speed of yankee dryer) - (circumferential speed of take-up reel))/(circumferential speed of yankee dryer) × 100 (%). As a decorative printing of the printed sheet 25,suitable decoration prints such as a design (a character including a drawing and a single-dot pattern) for decoration, a functional display such as a use method or a use aid, a size, or a logo display such as a manufacturer or a product name, a feature function, or the like can be used.
< method of production >
The structure in which at least both side end portions of the cover sheet 13 are bonded by the hot melt adhesive 13H can be manufactured by the manufacturing method shown in fig. 20(a) and 20(b), for example. That is, this manufacturing method includes an unillustrated outer body assembling step, an elastic member cutting step 301, an inner body mounting step 302, a cover sheet bonding step 303, a waist folding step 304, an unillustrated folding step, and an unillustrated side joining and separating step. Fig. 20(a) is a flowchart of the manufacturing apparatus, and fig. 20(b) is a plan view showing a change in the assembled state, which are drawn in correspondence with each other.
In the outer package assembly step, one sheet continuous in the MD direction is folded in the CD direction or two sheets continuous in the MD direction are bonded together so as to sandwich the elastic member continuously supplied in the MD direction, thereby forming the outer package strip 120 in which the elastic member is interposed between the inner sheet layer and the outer sheet layer. In the exterior belt member 120, the portion to be the exterior member is repeated and continuous in the MD direction so that the width direction WD thereof coincides with the MD direction in the manufacturing line. In the illustrated embodiment, there are separately formed: an exterior band-shaped body 120 including a portion to be the exterior two-division type front side exterior body 12F; and an exterior band-shaped body 120 including a portion to be the rear side exterior body 12B, but in the case of an exterior integrated type, there may be one exterior band-shaped body 120.
Next, the elastic member cutting step 301 is performed on the formed exterior band-like body 120 as necessary, and the elastic member 121 located at a portion CT which is overlapped with the interior body 200 later is cut by a cutting device 310 such as thermal embossing at a predetermined interval in the MD direction, and the contraction force of the elastic member 121 is substantially not exerted at the portion CT.
In the interior body mounting step 302, while the exterior body strip 120 is conveyed in parallel with the same arrangement as the developed state of the diaper with a gap in the CD direction, the interior body 200 in the developed state, which is simultaneously and concurrently produced by a known method through another production line, is sequentially joined to the portions of the exterior body strip 120 to be the individual exterior bodies, thereby forming the interior assembly as follows: the portions to be the respective diapers are continuous in the MD direction in the developed state. These joining and fixing can be performed by an appropriate means such as a hot-melt adhesive.
In the cover sheet bonding step 303, the cover sheet 13 is bonded to the surface of the exterior strip-like body 120 opposite to the bonding surface of the interior body 200 with a space therebetween in the MD direction. The cover sheet bonding step 303 may be performed before the folding step, but since the cover sheet 13 extends from the front body portion F to the rear body portion B, in the case of the exterior two-part type as shown in the figure, it is preferable to perform the cover sheet bonding step after the position where the positional relationship between the exterior band-shaped body 120 including the portion to be the front side exterior body 12F and the exterior band-shaped body 120 including the portion to be the rear side exterior body 12B is determined, that is, after the interior body mounting step 302.
In the waist folding step 304, the outer band-shaped body 120 is folded back at the CD-direction outer end 122 toward the CD-direction center side, and the elastic member 123 is continuously sandwiched in the MD direction under the folded-back portion. Thereby, the attachment of the waist elastic member 17 and the formation of the folded portion 12r can be performed.
The subsequent steps are not illustrated, but a pants-type disposable diaper can be manufactured by a known method. That is, in the folding step, the interior assembly after the interior assembly 200 is attached to the exterior band 120 and the cover sheet 13 is attached is folded in two in the CD direction to form a folded-in-two band, and in the side joining and separating step, the exterior assembly of the front body portion and the exterior assembly of the back body portion are joined together at portions of the folded-in-two band which become both side portions of each diaper, and the exterior assembly of the front body portion and the exterior assembly of the back body portion are cut at the boundary of each diaper, thereby obtaining each diaper.
The cover sheet bonding step 303 is characterized in that while the band-like continuous cover sheet strip 130 is conveyed in the continuous direction, a hot melt adhesive is continuously applied in the MD direction by the application device 312 to the bonding surface facing the exterior band 120, and then the cover sheet is cut into individual cover sheets 13 with a space in the MD direction by the slide blade 311, and the cut cover sheets 13 are bonded to the surface of the exterior band 120 opposite to the bonding surface of the interior body 200 with a space in the MD direction. Accordingly, the hot-melt adhesive can be continuously applied to the cover sheet 13 in the width direction WD to just the side edges thereof, except the front and rear end portions of the cover sheet 13, and the side end portions of the cover sheet 13 can be firmly bonded to the opposite surfaces without the hot-melt adhesive overflowing.
In particular, as shown in the drawing, a preferred embodiment is one in which the following resin film bonding step 305 is added before the cover sheet bonding step 303: the band-shaped body 111 of the liquid-impermeable sheet made of a resin film subjected to decorative printing is continuously bonded in the MD direction to the bonding surface of the band-shaped body 130 of the cover sheet facing the exterior band-shaped body 120. Reference numeral 313 denotes an application device for applying a hot-melt adhesive to the adhesive surface of the cover sheet strip 130 to which the liquid impermeable sheet strip 111 is adhered. Thus, in the cover sheet bonding step 303, the hot melt adhesive is applied continuously in the MD direction by the application device 312 to the bonding surface of the cover sheet band 130 of the cover sheet to which the liquid impermeable sheet band 111 is bonded, which faces the exterior band 120, and then the cover sheets 13 and the liquid impermeable sheet 11 are cut at intervals in the MD direction by the slide blade 311, and the cut cover sheets 13 and the liquid impermeable sheet 11 are bonded to the surface of the exterior band 120 opposite to the bonding surface of the interior body 200 at intervals in the MD direction. In this case, the side edges of the cover sheet 13 in the product coincide with the side edges of the liquid-impermeable sheet 11. In this embodiment, after the band-shaped body 111 of the liquid-impermeable sheet made of a resin film is attached to the band-shaped body of the cover sheet 13, each cover sheet 13 is cut and attached to the exterior band-shaped body 120, and therefore, the rigidity of each cut cover sheet 13 increases in accordance with the presence of the resin film, and the air permeability significantly decreases, and therefore, when suction holding is performed by the slide blade 311 as shown by the arrow in the figure and the exterior band-shaped body 120 is intermittently attached, the shape and suction holding property are stabilized, and stable attachment can be achieved.
Although not shown, it may be: instead of attaching the liquid impermeable sheet strip 111 to the cover sheet strip 130, the liquid impermeable sheet 11 is attached to the outer covering strip 120 before the cover sheet 13 is attached, and the cover sheet 13 is attached from the liquid impermeable sheet. In the case where the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 is provided on the back side of the absorbent member in the interior body 200, the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 can be attached in a manufacturing process of the interior body 200, not shown, and a process of attaching the liquid-impermeable sheet 11 to the cover sheet band-shaped body 130 or the outer covering band-shaped body 120 can be omitted.
When the cover sheet 13 is a perforated nonwoven fabric, a perforated nonwoven fabric processed in advance may be used as the cover sheet 13, but processing on a manufacturing line is preferable for reducing material cost. However, when the nonwoven fabric is subjected to the perforation processing, it is difficult to stably perform the high-precision processing as the speed of the processing line is higher. In contrast, in the cover sheet bonding step 303 of the manufacturing method of the illustrated embodiment, since the speed of feeding the cover sheet strip-like body 130 to the cover sheet bonding step 303 is reduced by cutting and intermittently bonding, if the perforating device 314 is added to the feed line of the cover sheet 13 to the cover sheet bonding step 303 and the perforating step 306 to the cover sheet 13 is performed as in the illustrated embodiment, stable perforating processing can be achieved, which is preferable.
< description of words in the specification >)
Unless otherwise specified in the specification, the following terms in the specification have the following meanings.
"front-rear (longitudinal) direction" means a direction connecting the ventral side (front side) and the dorsal side (rear side), and "width direction" means a direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction (left-right direction).
"MD" refers to the conveying direction of the manufacturing line, and is abbreviated as machine direction, "CD" refers to the transverse direction perpendicular to MD, and is abbreviated as cross direction, and either direction is the front-back direction of the product, and the other direction is the width direction of the product. The MD direction of a nonwoven fabric is the direction in which the fibers of the nonwoven fabric are oriented.
"fiber orientation" is the direction in which the fibers of the nonwoven fabric lie, and can be determined, for example, by the following measurement method: a measurement method according to a fiber orientation test method, wherein the fiber orientation test method is a test method based on a zero distance tensile strength of TAPPI standard method T481; alternatively, a simple measurement method for determining the fiber orientation direction from the ratio of the tensile strength in the front-back direction and the width direction.
"front side" means a side close to the skin of the wearer when the pants-type disposable diaper is worn, and "back side" means a side far from the skin of the wearer when the pants-type disposable diaper is worn.
"front" refers to the surface of the member that is closer to the skin of the wearer when the pants-type disposable diaper is worn, and "back" refers to the surface that is farther from the skin of the wearer when the pants-type disposable diaper is worn.
"area ratio" means the proportion of the target portion per unit area, and is a proportion expressed in percentage by dividing the area of the target region (e.g., the hole) in the target region (e.g., the cover sheet) by the total area of the target portion. In the aspect in which a plurality of target portions are provided at intervals, it is desirable that: the target region is set for a size including 10 or more target portions, and the area ratio is obtained. For example, the area ratio of the holes can be measured by using a device such as that sold under the trade name VHX-1000 by KEYENCE corporation under 20-fold measurement conditions in the following order.
(1) A lens is set to 20 times, and the focal length is adjusted. The position of the nonwoven fabric was adjusted so that 4 × 6 holes were present.
(2) The luminance of the hole region was specified, and the area of the hole was measured.
(3) Click on color extraction of "area measurement" of "measurement/comment". A portion of the hole is tapped.
(4) Click on "measure together", and select "display measurement result window", save as CSV data.
"elongation" means a value at which the natural length is 100%.
"gel strength" was determined as follows. To 49.0g of artificial urine (a mixture of 2 wt% urea, 0.8 wt% sodium chloride, 0.03 wt% calcium chloride dihydrate, 0.08 wt% magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, and 97.09 wt% ion-exchanged water) was added 1.0g of a super absorbent polymer, and the mixture was stirred with a stirrer. The resultant gel was allowed to stand in a constant temperature and humidity bath at 40 ℃ X60% RH for 3 hours and then returned to normal temperature, and the gel strength was measured by a curdometer-MAX ME-500 (manufactured by I.techno Engineering Co.).
"weight per unit area" was measured as follows. The sample or test piece is preliminarily dried and then placed in a test room or apparatus in a standard state (the temperature in the test site is 20. + -. 5 ℃ and the relative humidity is 65% or less) so as to be in a constant state. The preliminary drying is to make the sample or the test piece constant in an environment with a relative humidity of 10-25% and a temperature of not more than 50 ℃. In addition, the fibers having a legal moisture content of 0.0% may not be subjected to preliminary drying. Using a template (200 mm. times.250 mm,. + -. 2mm) for sample selection, a sample having a size of 200 mm. times.250 mm (. + -. 2mm) was cut out from a test piece in a state of becoming constant. The weight of the sample was measured, and the weight per square meter was calculated as the weight per unit area by 20 times.
"thickness" Using an automatic thickness gauge (KES-G5 Portable compression measurement program) at a load of 0.098N/cm2The pressure area is 2cm2Under the conditions of (1) automatically.
The water absorption was measured in accordance with JIS K7223-1996 "method for testing the Water absorption of a super absorbent resin".
The water absorption rate is "time to end point" when JIS K7224-1996 "Water absorption Rate test method for superabsorbent resin" was carried out using 2g of a superabsorbent polymer and 50g of physiological saline.
"expanded state" refers to a state of flat expansion without contraction or relaxation.
The dimensions of the respective portions are not particularly described, but are dimensions in the expanded state rather than the natural long state.
The test or measurement is carried out in a laboratory or apparatus in a standard state (a test field at a temperature of 20 ± 5 ℃ and a relative humidity of 65% or less) without any description of environmental conditions in the test or measurement.
