In the ascending process of the knitting needle, the coil gradually withdraws from the needle hook, the needle latch is opened, and the withdrawing needle latch is hung on the needle rod; during the descending process of the knitting needle, the needle hook hooks the newly laid yarn and draws and bends the newly laid yarn into a coil, meanwhile, the original coil is separated from the needle hook, the new coil passes through the old coil and is connected with the old coil in series, and the coil strings knitted by a plurality of knitting needles are mutually connected to form the knitted fabric.
During the knitting process of the computerized flat knitting machine, the phenomenon of stitch loop drop is called miss stitch, wherein the latch needle is not hooked to the newly laid yarn or is hooked to the yarn but is separated from the needle hook again after being looped. The main reasons for the occurrence of missed stitches are: the cam device is bad or worn, the yarn feeding is improper, the knitting needle is not good enough, the machine shakes, the yarn nozzle parking point position, the needle selecting mechanism of high and low butts and the like.
The missed stitch is one of the common problems which are difficult to debug in the knitting process of the computerized flat knitting machine, and the key problem of developing the computerized flat knitting machine is how to deal with the missed stitch generated in the knitting process and how to improve the device to realize automatic missed stitch detection.
For computerized flat knitting machines, common faults come from both mechanical and electrical control aspects.
