背景技术
除草剂是指可使杂草彻底地或选择地发生枯死的药剂，又称除莠剂，用以消灭或抑制植物生长的一类物质。其中的氯酸钠、硼砂、砒酸盐、三氯醋酸对于任何种类的植物都有枯死的作用，其作用受除草剂、植物和环境条件三因素的影响。按作用分为灭生性和选择性除草剂，选择性除草剂特别是硝基苯酚、氯苯酚、氨基甲酸的衍生物多数都有效。世界除草剂发展渐趋平稳，主要发展高效、低毒、广谱、低用量的品种，对环境污染小的一次性处理剂逐渐成为主流。常用的品种为有机化合物，可广泛用于防治农田、果园、花卉苗圃、草原及非耕地、铁路线、河道、水库、仓库等地杂草、杂灌、杂树等有害植物。
近年来，我国水域杂草的发生危害日趋严重，对农业生产、水利排灌、水产养殖、水上运输以及水域生态环境造成了越来越大的影响，正引起有关部门的重视。空心莲子草是发生和危害最为严重的恶性杂草之一。该草属苋科多年生宿根性杂草，生活力极强，繁殖快，蔓延速度惊人。从上世纪30年代传入我国，如今已遍布我国20多个省市和自治区，在农田、沟渠、池塘、河流、湖泊、水库等地大面积发生，许多地方布满整个池塘，占据整条河道，使得池塘无法养殖，水利排灌受阻，水域环境恶化。化学防治是目前治理空心莲子草的最主要措施，但目前国内缺乏能彻底防治该草的药剂。
