Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for stopping a mobile communication system, and a home subscriber server.
Background
Currently, in order to provide better service experience for users, operators may adopt a partial shutdown mode in a shutdown mode, that is, only stopping data services of users, but not stopping voice services of users. For example, conventional outage approaches typically restrict a user from accessing a PS (packet switching) domain to restrict the user's data traffic, while allowing the user to continue accessing a CS (circuit switching) domain to allow the user's voice traffic.
After entering the LTE (Long Term Evolution) era, in order to directly implement Voice service on LTE without falling back to a 2G/3G network for Voice service, a concept of VoLTE (Voice over LTE, Long Term Evolution Voice) has appeared.
However, the inventors of the present application found in practical applications: in the application scenario of VoLTE, there may not be a CS domain, but only a PS domain; that is, both voice and data services of the user are initiated over the PS domain; however, according to the conventional method, if the PS domain is directly limited, both the voice service and the data service of the user are limited, and the shutdown method that only limits the data service but not the voice service cannot be implemented. Therefore, the prior art is not sufficient and needs to be improved.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, it will be appreciated by those of ordinary skill in the art that numerous technical details are set forth in order to provide a better understanding of the present application in various embodiments of the present invention. However, the technical solutions claimed in the claims of the present application can be implemented without these technical details and with various changes and modifications based on the following embodiments.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a first embodiment of the shutdown method of the present invention. It can be used in VoLTE and more specifically it applies to scenarios where services are initiated over the PS domain in VoLTE. It includes:
step 102: a registration request initiated by a User Equipment (UE) in a Packet Switched (PS) domain is received. And
step 104: when it is recognized that the first service of the user equipment is not restricted and the second service of the user equipment is restricted, the registration request is allowed and a first successful registration response is returned.
Wherein the first successful registration response comprises: access point information (e.g., access point name, etc.) for the first service over the PS domain is not included with access point information for the second service over the PS domain.
The first service may be, for example, a voice service, and the second service may be, for example, a data service. Alternatively, the first service may be, for example, a data service, and the second service may be, for example, a voice service.
In this embodiment, the returned first successful registration response includes: access point information of the first service, and thus the first service of the UE is not restricted. For example, when the first service is a voice service, the UE may first access the PS domain by using the access point information, and then access the IMS domain by using the PS domain, thereby implementing the voice service. However, since the first successful registration response does not include: access point information of the second service, and thus the UE cannot access the PS domain to perform the second service. Therefore, the present embodiment supports that in the scenario of VoLTE, different shutdown modes are executed for different services initiated by the user through the PS domain, for example, only the data service of the PS domain is limited, but not the voice service of the PS domain, so as to make up for the deficiencies of the prior art.
Fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart of a second embodiment of the shutdown method of the present invention. It includes:
step 202: and receiving a registration request initiated by the UE in the PS domain. And
step 204: and when the first service of the UE is limited and the second service of the UE is limited, rejecting the registration request and returning a rejection registration response.
The first service may be, for example, a voice service, and the second service may be, for example, a data service. Alternatively, the first service may be, for example, a data service, and the second service may be, for example, a voice service.
It should be noted that the embodiment of the present invention can be used in combination with the embodiment of fig. 1.
According to the embodiment of the invention, when the voice service and the data service of the user equipment are both limited, the user equipment is prohibited from being attached to the PS domain, so that the voice service and the data service of the user equipment in the PS domain are prohibited.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flow chart of a shutdown method according to a third embodiment of the present invention. It includes:
step 302: a shutdown notification is received.
The execution main bodies of the method steps in the embodiments of fig. 1 to 3 may be Home Subscriber Servers (HSS). And the shutdown notification in step 302 may be sent by an operator banking system that manages the HSS, e.g. by a host of the operator banking system.
Step 304: the shutdown notification received in step 302 is recorded.
Wherein, the halt notification is used for notifying the limitation of the first service of the UE and/or the limitation of the second service of the UE. It should be noted that, when the outage notification only notifies that the first service of the UE is restricted, it means that the second service of the UE is not restricted; and when the halt notification notifies only the restriction of the second traffic of the UE, it means that the first traffic of the UE is not restricted. In other words, services for which the halt notification is not notified of restrictions are not restricted.
The first service may be, for example, a voice service, and the second service may be, for example, a data service. Alternatively, the first service may be, for example, a data service, and the second service may be, for example, a voice service.
Step 306: and receiving a registration request initiated by the UE in the PS domain. And
step 308: and identifying whether the first service of the UE is limited or not and whether the second service of the UE is limited or not, and obtaining an identification result.
Step 310: and returning a corresponding response message according to the identification result of the step 308.
For example, when the identification result is that the first service of the UE is limited and the second service of the UE is not limited, the access point information of the first service is not returned and the access point information of the second service is returned. And when the identification result is that the first service of the UE is not limited and the second service of the UE is limited, returning the access point information of the first service but not returning the access point information of the second service. And when the identification result shows that the first service of the UE is not limited and the second service of the UE is not limited, returning the access point information of the first service and the access point information of the second service. And returning a registration rejection response when the identification result is that the first service of the UE is limited and the second service of the UE is limited.
In the embodiment of the invention, for the situation of voice and data services through the PS domain in the VoLTE scenario, the HSS is configured by the operator bank account system so that the restriction situations (for example, limited or unlimited) of different services of the UE through the PS domain may be different, for example, only the data service is limited, or only the voice service is limited, or both the voice service and the data service are limited.
The following describes an embodiment of the present invention with reference to a method flow of stopping only data service without stopping voice service.
Fig. 4 is a schematic flow chart of a shutdown method according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention. The subjects involved in this procedure include: operator bank account system, HSS and PS domain, it includes the following steps:
step 502: the operator billing system sends a halt notification to the HSS instructing the HSS to restrict data traffic of the UE and allow voice traffic of the UE. Wherein the shutdown notification includes an identity of the UE.
Step 504: the HSS records the shutdown notification.
Step 506: the HSS returns a shutdown response to the operator billing system.
Step 508: the HSS receives a registration request of the UE over the PS domain. Wherein, the registration request contains the identity of the UE.
Step 510: and the HSS allows the UE to register in the PS domain and returns a registration success response, wherein the access point information included in the registration success response only contains the access point information of the voice service.
It should be noted that, because the voice service of the UE is not limited, the UE may also initiate a registration request through the CS domain, and at this time, the HSS may allow the UE to attach (i.e., register) in the CS domain, and return a corresponding response message.
The embodiment of the invention supports the data service of the UE only to be stopped and the voice service of the UE not to be stopped for the situation of carrying out voice and data services through the PS domain in the scene of VoLTE, thereby making up the defects of the prior art.
As shown in fig. 5, it is a schematic structural diagram of a first embodiment of the shutdown device 500 of the present invention. It can be used in VoLTE and more specifically it applies to scenarios where services are initiated over the PS domain in VoLTE. It includes:
a receiving module 502, configured to receive a registration request initiated by a User Equipment (UE) in a Packet Switched (PS) domain. And
the processing module 504: and when it is recognized that the first service of the user equipment is not restricted and the second service of the user equipment is restricted, allowing the registration request and returning a first successful registration response.
In addition, the processing module 504 is further configured to reject the registration request and return a reject registration response when it is recognized that the first service of the UE is restricted and the second service of the UE is restricted.
Therefore, the present embodiment supports that in the scenario of VoLTE, different shutdown modes are executed for different services initiated by the user through the PS domain, for example, only the data service of the PS domain is limited, but not the voice service, so as to make up for the deficiencies of the prior art.
As shown in fig. 6, it is a schematic structural diagram of a second embodiment of the shutdown device 500 of the present invention. It includes:
a receiving module 502 is configured to receive a shutdown notification.
Among them, the apparatus in the embodiment of fig. 6 may be used in a Home Subscriber Server (HSS). The shutdown notification received by the receiving module 502 may be sent by an operator banking system that manages the HSS, for example, by a host of the operator banking system.
A processing module 504 and a storage module 506.
The processing module 504 is configured to record the shutdown notification received by the receiving module 502 in the storage module 506.
In addition, the receiving module 502 is further configured to receive a registration request initiated by the UE in the PS domain. And is
The processing module 504 is further configured to identify whether a first service of the UE is restricted or not, and whether a second service of the UE is restricted or not, so as to obtain an identification result; and returning a corresponding response message according to the identification result.
