A method for manufacturing a cadmium reference electrode as claimed in claim 7, wherein in the first step, a pure cadmium rod is selected, a lead-out wire is welded at one end of the rod, and a plurality of annular breakable grooves are formed in the outer wall of the rod at equal intervals; secondly, coating epoxy resin on the outer wall of the cadmium rod to form an inner coating layer, closely sleeving a sleeving glue layer on the inner coating layer before the inner coating layer is dried for a period of time and the surface has certain viscosity, then drilling glue connecting holes on the sleeving glue layer, densely coating the glue connecting holes on the sleeving glue layer, enabling the glue connecting holes to penetrate through the inner coating layer, then coating epoxy resin on the outer wall of the sleeving glue layer to form an outer coating layer, and enabling the outer coating layer to penetrate into the inner coating layer through the glue connecting holes; thirdly, taking a mounting sleeve matched with the cadmium rod, processing a plurality of annular grooves on the outer wall of the mounting sleeve in a one-to-one correspondence manner with the breakable grooves, and processing a vertically arranged breaking groove on the outer wall of the mounting sleeve; fourthly, sleeving the cadmium rod into the mounting sleeve, wherein the lower end of the cadmium rod extends out of the lower end of the mounting sleeve, filling epoxy resin into the mounting sleeve for corrosion prevention and sealing, and drying the epoxy resin to obtain the cadmium reference electrode which can be used; after the lower end of the cadmium reference electrode is corroded, the cadmium rod is broken at the position of the easily-broken groove at the lowest part, the corrosion section of the cadmium rod is folded down, then the annular groove at the lowest part of the mounting sleeve is cut off, the cutting groove at the lower part of the annular groove is cut off, the mounting sleeve at the section is disassembled, the sealing anti-corrosion sleeve extending out of the outer wall of the cadmium rod at the lower end of the mounting sleeve is removed, and therefore the lower end of a new cadmium rod is exposed for continuous use.
