When the sealing ring is abutted to the open edge of the cooking vessel, one side surface of the sealing ring, which is positioned in the cooking vessel, is a water diversion cambered surface, so that condensed water can conveniently slide out of the sealing ring, the sealing ring is kept in a non-water state, and the phenomenon of water accumulation inside the sealing ring caused by steam condensation in the cooking process can be avoided.

The present embodiment provides an upper cover assembly comprising a cover body and a cover plate assembly 1 as described in embodiment 2, the other side of the cover plate assembly 1 being attached to the cover body. the sealing part comprises a connecting section, a water diversion section and a pressure bearing section which are sequentially connected, and the mounting part is connected with the connecting section; the water diversion section, the connecting section and the pressure bearing section are all arranged in an annular mode around the central axis of the sealing ring, and the water diversion section, the connecting section and the pressure bearing section enclose a gap of the annular structure; one end of the water diversion section is abutted on the cover plate assembly, and the other end of the water diversion section is abutted on the open edge of the cooking vessel; the diversion cambered surface is a side surface of the diversion section, which is close to the central axis of the sealing ring; the connecting section seals and shields the connecting part of the mounting part and the cover plate assembly;
the connecting section comprises a sealing connecting section and a buffer section, one end of the sealing connecting section is connected with one end of the water diversion section, the other end of the sealing connecting section is connected with one end of the buffer section, the other end of the buffer section is connected with one end of the pressure-bearing section, and the other end of the pressure-bearing section is connected with the other end of the water diversion section.

The sealing ring on the cover plate assembly according to claim 1, wherein an included angle between any two connecting lines and the downward direction of the central axis of the sealing ring in an arc line formed by the same longitudinal section of the diversion cambered surface is more than or equal to 0 degrees and less than or equal to 90 degrees.
3. The gasket of claim 1 wherein said diverting arcuate surface is formed by recessing said gasket in a direction away from a central axis of said gasket.
4. The sealing ring on the cover plate assembly according to claim 1, wherein an included angle between a tangent line of any point on the diversion cambered surface and a downward direction of a central axis of the sealing ring is more than or equal to 0 degrees and less than or equal to 90 degrees.
5. The gasket of claim 1, wherein the mounting portion is connected to the sealing connection segment, the sealing connection segment sealing and concealing the connection of the mounting portion to the cover assembly; and a gap is reserved between the buffer section and the cover plate component.

The gasket of claim 5, wherein a side of the sealing connection section adjacent to the cover plate assembly is a cambered surface protruding toward a connection portion between the mounting portion and the cover plate assembly, a side of the buffer section adjacent to the cover plate assembly is a buffer inclined surface, and an included angle between the buffer inclined surface and the cover plate assembly is greater than 0 °.
7. A sealing ring for a closure assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the ratio of the area of the longitudinal section of the hollow in the sealing portion to the area of the longitudinal section of the solid portion in the sealing portion is 1 to 8.
8. A sealing ring for a closure assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the solid portion of the sealing portion has a hardness of 30 to 75A.

A cover plate assembly comprising a cover plate body, a pressing plate of annular structure and a sealing ring as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the pressing plate is pressed against the circumferential edge of the cover plate body and forms an annular gap with the cover plate body, the mounting part is pressed in the annular gap in a sealing way and is positioned on the inner ring side of the pressing plate, and the sealing part extends from the annular gap in a direction away from the cover plate assembly and seals and shields the annular gap.
10. An upper cover assembly comprising a cover body and the cover assembly of claim 9, the other side of the cover assembly being attached to the cover body.
11. An appliance comprising a cooking vessel and the upper lid assembly of claim 10 mounted at an open end of the cooking vessel; when the upper cover component is buckled on the cooking vessel, the sealing part is in sealing and pressing connection with the opening edge of the cooking vessel.
