Description

Parasite expelling biscuit for shepherd dogs in Tibetan region and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of pet foods, and particularly relates to an insect-expelling biscuit for shepherd dogs in a Tibetan region and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Parasitic diseases are diseases that seriously harm human health and livestock developing in animal husbandry, and the high incidence of diseases caused by parasites in the Tibet area has seriously affected the life and property safety of local herdsmen and the development of the breeding industry thereof. In a pasturing area (such as a Tibet glossy ganoderma pasturing area), most of shepherd dogs are raised in a scattered mode, nearly 64% of shepherd dogs do not expel insects, most of shepherd dogs have untreated excrement, and the shepherd dogs infected with echinococcus granulosus scatter eggs to the surrounding environment through the excrement, so that the shepherd dogs become a main infection source. On the other hand, extensive livestock breeding and management means also provide conditions for the spread of parasitic diseases.
The treatment of the parasitic diseases is mainly surgical operation and assisted by drug treatment, but because of the complexity of the parasitic diseases, the surgical radical treatment is difficult, or secondary or even multiple operations are needed for the after-operation repeated hair, and the treatment effect is not satisfactory. Therefore, repelling insects and controlling dogs are the main means for effective control of parasites.
At present, the drugs for expelling parasites in animals are mainly traditional Chinese medicine compositions, for example, a patent with application publication number CN102846893 discloses that the traditional Chinese medicine composition formed by combining Chinese pulsatilla root, areca seed, dark plum leaf, folium artemisiae argyi, red halloysite, golden cypress, purslane and common cnidium fruit according to certain parts by weight can treat animal parasitic diseases, and the traditional Chinese medicine composition does not generate drug resistance and drug residue and toxic and side effects. However, the traditional Chinese medicine composition has large medicinal taste and poor animal palatability, so that animals are difficult to take actively, and the later period needs to be filled with medicines, so that the operation is complex and the workload is large.

Comparative example 1
The insect-expelling biscuits prepared by the method of the example 3 are prepared by using starch and salt as auxiliary materials to replace yak meat dry powder, meat bone meal, high gluten flour, tsamba, white granulated sugar, beef tallow, ghee, soybean oil and fish meal in the example 3, wherein the mass ratio of the starch to the salt is 20:1, and the prepared biscuits are compared with the feed intake of the biscuits prepared in the examples 1-3.
The experimental method comprises the following steps: one feeding basin was provided for each of the 5 experimental shepherd dogs at the same time, and a known amount of the biscuits prepared in example 1, example 2, example 3 and comparative example 1 to be tested was placed in the feeding basin. And weighing and recording the feed intake of the insect-repellent biscuits in one feed intake process (9:00-15: 00). The results of the feed intake are shown in Table 1.
TABLE 1 feed intake for shepherd dogs on biscuits made according to different examples
Group of Example 1 Example 2 Example 3 Comparative example 1
Rate of food intake 72.1% 78.9% 75.2% 13.5%
Example 4
In order to test the insect-repelling effect of the combination of praziquantel and acetamidoavermectin, the biscuits prepared in example 1 were used as a combined treatment group of praziquantel and acetamidoavermectin to perform an insect-repelling experiment on the shepherd dogs with parasites, biscuits prepared in example 1 by removing praziquantel or acetamidoavermectin were used as an acetamidoavermectin treatment group and a praziquantel treatment group respectively, biscuits prepared in example 1 by removing praziquantel and eplerentin were used as a blank control group to be fed, the number of the shepherd dogs in each group was 10 as a positive control group, the biscuits were weighed and fed at the ratio of 9:00-15:00, and the insect-reducing rate of each group of striped insects and worms was counted respectively. The statistical results are shown in Table 2.
TABLE 2 reduction of cestodes and helminths in shepherd dogs by different treatment groups
Treatment group Cestode insect reduction rate Worm reduction rate
Praziquantel treatment group 96.3% 80%
Acetaminoavermectin treatment group --- 62.8%
Praziquantel and acetamido abamectin combination treatment group 97% 98.9%
Blank control group 0 0
As can be seen from Table 2, for the anthelmintic effect of tapeworm, the tapeworm reduction rate of the combination treatment group of praziquantel and acetamido abamectin is 97%, which is slightly higher than that of the praziquantel treatment group; aiming at expelling worms from worms, the helminth reduction rate of the praziquantel and acetamido abamectin combined treatment group is 98.9 percent, which is respectively improved by 23.6 percent and 57.48 percent compared with the helminth reduction rate of the praziquantel treatment group and the acetamido abamectin treatment group. It can be seen that the combined use of the praziquantel and the acetamido abamectin can greatly improve the anthelmintic effect on the worms and has the synergistic effect.
The foregoing is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and it should be noted that, for those skilled in the art, various modifications and decorations can be made without departing from the principle of the present invention, and these modifications and decorations should also be regarded as the protection scope of the present invention.
