Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a circuit board assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the circuit board assembly includes a circuit board 100, a shielded object 200 disposed on the circuit board 100, and a shielding cover 300 disposed on the circuit board 100 and covering the shielded object 200.
Alternatively, the shielding object 200 may be a metal trace or an electronic component disposed on the circuit board 100, and the electronic component may be disposed on the surface of the circuit board 100 by means of a patch or a soldering. In other embodiments, the electronic components may be disposed on the surface of the circuit board 100 in other manners.
Alternatively, the shield can 300 may be disposed on the circuit board 100 by soldering. It should be understood that the connection manner of the shielding case 300 and the circuit board 100 is not limited to soldering, but may also be glue, snap, or other fixed connection manners, which is not limited in this embodiment of the invention.
The shield can 300 may include a top wall 10, a first sidewall 11, and a second sidewall 12.
The first side wall 11 and the second side wall 12 are respectively connected with the top wall 10 in a bending way, and the first side wall 11 and the second side wall 12 are arranged oppositely.
Specifically, the first side wall 11 is connected to the top wall 10 at a first edge 13 (e.g., the left edge as viewed in the figures) of the top wall 10. Alternatively, the first side wall 11 may be vertically bent and connected with the top wall 10, i.e. the first side wall 11 may be perpendicular to the top wall 10. In other embodiments, the first side wall 11 may also be connected to the top wall 10 at other angles, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present invention.
The second side wall 12 is connected to the top wall 10 at a second edge 14 (e.g., the right edge as viewed in the figures) of the top wall 10. The second edge 14 is the edge of the top wall 10 opposite the first edge 13. Alternatively, the second side wall 12 may be perpendicularly bent from the top wall 10, i.e. the second side wall 12 may be perpendicular to the top wall 10. In other embodiments, the second side wall 12 may also be connected to the top wall 10 at other angles, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present invention.
For convenience of explanation, the first direction a is defined as a direction parallel to the top wall 10 and parallel to the first and second side walls 11 and 12. For example, the first direction a is a longitudinal direction of the shield can 300 shown in the drawing.
An end (e.g., a lower end as viewed in the drawing) of at least one of the first and second side walls 11 and 12 remote from the top wall 10 has a smaller dimension in the first direction a than that of the top wall 10.
The circuit board assembly further comprises a first connection layer 15 and a second connection layer 16 arranged on the circuit board 100, the first connection layer 15 is used for connecting with the first side wall 11, the second connection layer 16 is used for connecting with the second side wall 12, and the size of at least one of the first connection layer 15 and the second connection layer 16 along the first direction a is smaller than that of the top wall 10 along the first direction a.
Alternatively, the size of the first connection layer 15 in the first direction a may be equal to the size of the first sidewall 11 in the first direction a, and the size of the second connection layer 16 in the first direction b may be equal to the size of the second sidewall 12 in the first direction a.
For example, when the shield can 300 is connected to the circuit board 100 by soldering, the first connection layer 15 may be a first pad disposed on the circuit board 100, and the second connection layer 16 may be a second pad disposed on the circuit board 100. Optionally, the size of the end of the first side wall 11 and the end of the second side wall 12 far away from the top wall 10 along the first direction a are smaller than the size of the top wall 10 along the first direction a. Correspondingly, the size of the first pad in the first direction a may be set smaller than the size of the top wall 10 in the first direction a, and the size of the second pad in the first direction a may be set smaller than the size of the top wall 10 in the first direction a.
In other embodiments, it may be that one of the first side wall and the second side wall has a dimension in the first direction smaller than that of the top wall, and the other has a dimension in the first direction equal to that of the top wall
In this way, the dimensions of the lower ends of the first side wall 11 and the second side wall 12 along the first direction a are set to be smaller than the dimension of the top wall 10 along the first direction a, so that the dimensions of the first pad and the second pad along the first direction a are smaller than the dimension of the top wall 10 along the first direction a, on one hand, the projection of the top wall 10 on the circuit board 100 can completely cover the shielded object 200, and the protection function and the shielding function of the shielding case 300 on the shielded object 200 are ensured, and on the other hand, the first pad and the second pad can make room for facilitating the routing layout between the shielded object 200 and the surrounding circuits because the dimensions of the first pad and the second pad are smaller than the dimensions of the top wall.
