Claims (9)

1. An electronic device for simultaneously operating two or more applications, comprising:
a display unit that displays a screen of the application program;
a switching unit that switches a screen displayed on the display unit to a screen of a first application or a screen of a second application that enables input of characters;
an input unit for inputting characters by a user operation;
a determination unit configured to determine whether or not the character input by the input unit needs to be supported after the screen displayed by the display unit is switched to the screen of the second application by the switching unit; and
and a control unit that controls the display unit to display the screen of the first application and the screen of the second application simultaneously when the determination unit determines that the support is necessary.
2. The electronic device of claim 1,
the electronic device further has an extraction unit that extracts character string information on the screen displayed on the display unit,
the determination unit determines that support is necessary when a character string that partially matches the character string input by the input unit exists in the character string on the screen of the first application displayed on the display unit extracted by the extraction unit.
3. The electronic device of claim 1,
the determination unit determines that support is necessary when the user has input a character for a predetermined time or longer while the input unit is inputting the character.
4. The electronic device of claim 1,
the determination unit determines that support is necessary when the switching unit is operated to switch the screen displayed on the display unit from the screen of the second application to the screen of the first application.
5. The electronic device of claim 1,
the determination unit determines that support is necessary when the switching unit is repeatedly operated a predetermined number of times to switch the screen of the first application program and the screen of the second application program.
6. The electronic device according to any one of claims 1 to 5,
when the determination unit determines that support is necessary, the control unit causes the character string on the screen of the first application to be highlighted.
7. The electronic device according to any one of claims 1 to 5,
when the determination unit determines that support is necessary, the control unit displays a character string on the screen of the first application as an input candidate on the display unit.
8. A display control method for an electronic device, the electronic device running two or more applications simultaneously, the display control method comprising:
a display step of displaying a screen of the application program;
a switching step of switching the screen displayed in the displaying step to a screen of a first application program or a screen of a second application program capable of inputting characters;
an input step of inputting characters by a user operation;
a determination step of determining whether or not the character input by the input step needs to be supported after the screen displayed by the display step is switched to the screen of the second application by the switching step; and
a control step of controlling to display a screen of the first application and a screen of the second application at the same time, when it is determined by the determination step that the support is necessary.
9. A display control system of an electronic device, the electronic device running two or more applications at the same time, the display control system of the electronic device comprising:
a display unit that displays a screen of the application;
a switching unit configured to switch a screen displayed by the display unit to a screen of a first application program or a screen of a second application program capable of inputting characters;
an input unit that inputs characters by a user operation;
a determination unit configured to determine whether or not character input by the input unit needs to be supported after the screen displayed by the display unit is switched to the screen of the second application by the switching unit; and
and a control unit configured to control to display the screen of the first application and the screen of the second application at the same time, when the determination unit determines that the support is necessary.
