Abstract

A method and apparatus for providing translation results are provided. The method comprises the following steps: responding to a first user operation, and displaying an interactive interface comprising at least one word segmentation entity obtained after splitting processing is carried out on a corresponding text, wherein the text is a text corresponding to an operation object of the first user operation; responding to a second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate, and acquiring a translation result of the selected participle entity; and displaying the translation result in the interactive interface. According to the method and the equipment, the convenience of the user for using the translation function of the intelligent screen recognition function is improved, and the user experience is improved.

Method and equipment for providing translation result

Technical Field

The present invention relates generally to the field of electronic technology, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for providing translation results.

Background

A smart screen recognition function of an electronic terminal (e.g., a smart phone, etc.) is a function capable of recognizing text displayed on a screen selected by a specific touch operation (e.g., a single finger long pressing the screen) and providing a service related to the text. For example, as shown in fig. 1, if the user presses the text shown in (a) for a long time, the smart screen function can automatically recognize the text and perform word segmentation and recommendation service for the text (as shown in (b)); when the user selects at least one participle entity as shown in (c) and clicks the translation button, the intelligent screen recognition function jumps from the current interactive interface to the interactive interface for displaying the translation result of the selected participle entity as shown in (d), in this case, if the user wants to obtain the translation result of other participle entities, an input operation is required to return from the interactive interface shown in (d) to the interactive interface as shown in (b), and then the user reselects the participle entity and clicks the translation button, so that the intelligent screen recognition function jumps to the interactive interface for displaying the translation result of the selected participle entity.

Disclosure of Invention

An exemplary embodiment of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for providing a translation result, which can solve the problem that the existing intelligent screen recognition function provides a translation result of a word segmentation entity in a manner that is not convenient for a user.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a method of providing translation results is provided, wherein the method comprises: responding to a first user operation, and displaying an interactive interface comprising at least one word segmentation entity obtained after splitting processing is carried out on a corresponding text, wherein the text is a text corresponding to an operation object of the first user operation; responding to a second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate, and acquiring a translation result of the selected participle entity; and displaying the translation result in the interactive interface.

Optionally, the step of displaying the translation result in the interactive interface includes: and inserting and displaying the translation result in the interactive interface.

Optionally, the operation object of the first user operation includes at least one of: pictures, video, voice, text.

Optionally, the second user action comprises: selecting one or more word segmentation entities in the at least one word segmentation entity, and then selecting a translation control; or selecting one or more word segmentation entities in the at least one word segmentation entity, and dragging the selected word segmentation entities to the position of the translation control.

Optionally, the step of obtaining the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity includes: if the language used by the selected word segmentation entity is not the default language of the current electronic terminal, translating the selected word segmentation entity into words in the default language; or if the language used by the selected word segmentation entity is the default language of the current electronic terminal, translating the selected word segmentation entity into words in other languages used by the user; alternatively, the selected participle entity is translated into a word in a language used by other ones of the at least one participle entity.

Optionally, the step of obtaining the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity includes: and when the word segmentation entity selected by the second user operation is a plurality of word segmentation entities, translating the word segmentation entities as a sentence and/or as a single word respectively to obtain a translation result.

Optionally, the step of displaying an interactive interface including the at least one word segmentation entity in response to the first user operation includes: in response to a first user operation, displaying an interactive interface comprising the at least one word segmentation entity and recommendation information associated with the at least one word segmentation entity, wherein the method further comprises: in response to a second user operation, determining whether recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected through the second user operation exists in the recommendation information; and when the word segmentation entity exists, displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity and/or a translation result of the recommendation information in association with the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity.

Optionally, the step of displaying the translation result in the interactive interface in an inserting manner includes: a word segmentation translation column used for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity is newly added in the interactive interface; or expanding a folded word segmentation translation column for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity in the interactive interface; or popping up a window for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity on the interactive interface, wherein the window does not obscure the at least one word segmentation entity.

Optionally, when the languages used by the plurality of participle entities selected by the second user operation are different, the step of translating the plurality of participle entities as one sentence to obtain a translation result includes: translating the word segmentation entities into words in the same language as one sentence; or, the word segmentation entities are used as a sentence and translated according to multiple languages to obtain a translation result.

Optionally, when the languages used by the plurality of participle entities selected by the second user operation are different, the step of translating the plurality of participle entities as a single word to obtain the translation result includes: translating the word segmentation entities into words in the same language respectively as single words; alternatively, each participle entity in the plurality of participle entities is translated as a single word into a word in a language different from the language in which it is used.

Optionally, the method further comprises: after the translation result of the participle entity selected by the second user operation is displayed, when the second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate is received again, the content in the participle translation column or the window is updated to the translation result of the participle entity selected again by the second user operation; or newly adding a translation result of the participle entity selected again through second user operation in the participle translation column or the window; or, a word segmentation translation column for displaying the translation result of the word segmentation entity selected again through the second user operation is newly added in the interactive interface.

Optionally, the method further comprises: responding to user operation of translation expansion information for acquiring the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity, and skipping and displaying an interactive interface for displaying the translation expansion information; or, further expanding the folded part of the participle translation column and displaying the translation expansion information on the expanded part.

Optionally, the same language is one of the languages used by the multiple word segmentation entities.

According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus for providing a translation result, wherein the apparatus includes: the word segmentation interface providing unit is used for responding to the first user operation and displaying an interactive interface comprising at least one word segmentation entity obtained by splitting a corresponding text, wherein the text is a text corresponding to an operation object operated by the first user; the translation result acquisition unit is used for responding to a second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate and acquiring a translation result of the selected participle entity; and the word segmentation interface providing unit displays the translation result in the interactive interface.

Optionally, the word segmentation interface providing unit inserts and displays the translation result in the interactive interface.

Optionally, if the language used by the selected participle entity is not the default language of the current electronic terminal, the translation result obtaining unit translates the selected participle entity into a word in the default language; or if the language used by the selected word segmentation entity is the default language of the current electronic terminal, the translation result acquisition unit translates the selected word segmentation entity into words in other languages used by the user; or the translation result acquiring unit translates the selected participle entity into a word in a language used by other participle entities in the at least one participle entity.

Optionally, when the participle entity selected by the second user operation is a plurality of participle entities, the translation result obtaining unit translates the plurality of participle entities as one sentence and/or as a single word respectively to obtain the translation result.

Optionally, the word segmentation interface providing unit is used for responding to a first user operation and displaying an interactive interface comprising the at least one word segmentation entity and recommendation information associated with the at least one word segmentation entity, wherein the word segmentation interface providing unit is also used for responding to a second user operation and determining whether the recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected by the second user operation exists in the recommendation information; and when the word segmentation entity exists, displaying recommendation information and/or translation results of the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity in an associated manner with the translation results of the selected word segmentation entity.

Optionally, the word segmentation interface providing unit displays the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity and/or the translation result of the recommendation information at a position adjacent to the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity.

Optionally, the word segmentation interface providing unit performs associated display on recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity and a translation result of the selected word segmentation entity; and when receiving a user operation for translating the recommendation information, displaying the translation result of the recommendation information and the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity and/or the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity in an associated manner.

Optionally, when the languages used by the multiple participle entities selected by the second user operation are different, the translation result obtaining unit only translates the multiple participle entities into words in the same language as a single word respectively; alternatively, each participle entity in the plurality of participle entities is translated as a single word into a word in a language different from the language in which it is used.

Optionally, after the translation result of the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation is displayed, when a second user operation for selecting the displayed segmentation entity to translate is received again, the segmentation interface providing unit updates the content in the segmentation translation column or the window to the translation result of the segmentation entity selected again by the second user operation; or the word segmentation interface providing unit newly adds a translation result of the word segmentation entity selected again through the operation of a second user in the word segmentation translation column or the window; or the word segmentation interface providing unit adds a word segmentation translation column for displaying the translation result of the word segmentation entity selected again through the operation of the second user in the interactive interface.

Optionally, the apparatus further comprises: the extension information providing unit is used for responding to the user operation of the translation extension information for acquiring the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity and skipping and displaying an interactive interface for displaying the translation extension information; or, the segmentation interface providing unit further expands the folded part of the segmentation translation bar and displays the translation expansion information on the expanded part.

Optionally, the word segmentation interface providing unit further displays recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected by the second user operation and/or a translation result of the recommendation information in the window.

Optionally, the interactive interface includes a word segmentation result column and at least one recommendation information column, the at least one word segmentation entity is displayed in the word segmentation result column, and recommendation information associated with different word segmentation entities is displayed in different recommendation information columns, wherein the word segmentation interface providing unit adds a word segmentation translation column for displaying a translation result of the selected word segmentation entity in the interactive interface; or the word segmentation interface providing unit expands a folded word segmentation translation bar for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity in the interactive interface, wherein the word segmentation interface providing unit adjusts a recommendation information bar for displaying recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected by the operation of a second user to a position adjacent to the word segmentation translation bar in the interactive interface for displaying; or the word segmentation interface providing unit adjusts a recommendation information column for displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity to a position adjacent to the word segmentation translation column in the interactive interface for displaying, wherein a translation result of the recommendation information is also displayed in the recommendation information column; or the word segmentation interface providing unit adjusts a recommendation information column for displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity to a position adjacent to the word segmentation translation column in the interactive interface for displaying, wherein a translation result of the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity is also displayed in the word segmentation translation column; or adding a recommendation information translation bar for displaying a translation result of recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity at a position, adjacent to the word segmentation translation bar, in the interactive interface by the word segmentation interface providing unit; or the word segmentation interface providing unit further displays a translation result of the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity in the word segmentation translation column; or the word segmentation interface providing unit adjusts a recommendation information column for displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity to a position adjacent to the word segmentation translation column in the interactive interface for displaying, and adds a recommendation information translation column for displaying a translation result of the recommendation information at a position adjacent to the recommendation information column.

According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a computer-readable storage medium is provided, in which a computer program is stored, which, when being executed by a processor, carries out the method of providing translation results as described above.

According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an electronic terminal, wherein the electronic terminal includes: a processor; a memory storing a computer program which, when executed by the processor, implements the method of providing translation results as described above.

In the method and the device for providing the translation result according to the exemplary embodiment of the invention, the translation result of the participle entity selected by the user can be directly displayed in the interactive interface for displaying the participle entity without jumping to another interactive interface to display the translation result, so that the user can conveniently select other participle entities again for translation, the convenience of the user in using the translation function of the intelligent screen recognition function is improved, and the user experience is improved.

Additional aspects and/or advantages of the present general inventive concept will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the general inventive concept.

Detailed Description

Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like reference numerals refer to the like elements throughout. The embodiments are described below in order to explain the present invention by referring to the figures.

Fig. 2 illustrates a flowchart of a method of providing translation results according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The method may be implemented by a computer program. For example, the method may be performed by a functional program implemented in an operating system of the electronic terminal. As an example, the electronic terminal may be a mobile communication terminal (e.g., a smartphone), a smart wearable device (e.g., a smartwatch), or the like.

Referring to fig. 2, in step S10, in response to the first user operation, an interactive interface including at least one word segmentation entity obtained by performing splitting processing on a corresponding text is displayed, where the text is a text corresponding to an operation object of the first user operation.

As an example, the first user operation may be an operation for selecting an object (i.e., an operation object). By way of example, the first user operation may be a touch screen operation, a gesture operation, a key operation, a voice operation, or other user operations, for example, the first user operation may be an operation of pressing the screen with a single finger or two fingers to select an object displayed at the pressed position.

As an example, the operation object of the first user operation may include at least one of: pictures, video, voice, text.

As an example, when the operation object of the first user operation is a picture, the text corresponding to the operation object may be a text representation of the content recognized from the picture, and may include at least one of the following items, for example: the name of the person identified from the face in the picture, the name of the thing identified from the picture and/or the geographical location where it is located (e.g., the place name corresponding to the landscape picture, the name of the landmark building in the picture and the geographical location where it is located), the text in the picture, the type of content in the picture (e.g., style type), the product name of the good identified from the picture and/or the provider corresponding thereto. For example, genre types may include: movie posters, animation, video frames, and the like.

As an example, when the operation object of the first user operation is a voice message, the text corresponding to the operation object may be a text into which the voice message is converted.

As an example, when the operation object of the first user operation is a text, the text corresponding to the operation object may be itself.

As an example, the splitting process may be a splitting into independent words by semantics.

By way of example, the interactive interface may include a segmentation result bar in which the at least one segmentation entity is displayed.

As an example, the interactive interface may further include at least one recommendation information bar in which recommendation information associated with the at least one word segmentation entity is displayed. For example, recommendation information associated with different participle entities may be displayed in different recommendation information columns, e.g., each recommendation information column may be used to display recommendation information associated with one participle entity.

As an example, the recommendation information associated with the at least one participle entity may be various appropriate recommendation information for the at least one participle entity, and for example, service information such as express delivery information, travel information, hotel information, and specific introduction information may be provided.

In step S20, in response to a second user operation for selecting the displayed segmentation entity for translation, a translation result of the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation is acquired.

As an example, the second user operation may include: selecting one or more word segmentation entities in the at least one word segmentation entity, and then selecting a translation control; or selecting one or more word segmentation entities in the at least one word segmentation entity, and dragging the selected word segmentation entities to the position of the translation control. It should be understood that the second user operation may also be other suitable user operations for selecting the displayed word segmentation entities for translation, for example, the second user operation may be a user operation for directly selecting the translation control without selecting any word segmentation entity, and accordingly, the word segmentation entities selected by the second user operation may be considered as all word segmentation entities. It should be understood that the first user operation and the second user operation indicate two operations different in function, rather than indicating operations by different users.

As an example, if the language used by the selected participle entity is not the default language of the current electronic terminal, the selected participle entity may be translated into a word in said default language.

As an example, if the language used by the selected segmentation entity is the default language of the current electronic terminal, the selected segmentation entity may be translated into words in other languages that the user is accustomed to. For example, if the default language of the current electronic terminal is chinese, and besides chinese, english is the most frequently used by the user on the current electronic terminal, english may be used as the other languages used by the user. It should be understood that languages used by the user other than the default language may be obtained in various suitable ways.

As an example, the selected participle entity may be translated into a word in a language used by other ones of the at least one participle entity. For example, if the segmentation entity selected by the user for translation is in english and the language in which the segmentation entities other than the selected segmentation entity are most frequently used among the at least one segmentation entity is in chinese, the selected segmentation entity may be translated into a word in chinese.

Furthermore, it should be understood that language candidates may also be provided to the user, and the user may select which language the selected participle entity is translated in by selecting a language candidate.

As an example, when the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation is a plurality of segmentation entities, the plurality of segmentation entities may be translated as one sentence and/or as a single word, respectively, to obtain a translation result.

As an example, when the languages used by the plurality of participle entities selected by the second user operation are different, the step of translating the plurality of participle entities as one sentence to obtain a translation result may include: translating the word segmentation entities into words in the same language as one sentence; or, the word segmentation entities are used as a sentence and translated according to multiple languages to obtain a translation result. In other words, the plurality of participle entities are translated as one sentence into a sentence in one language, or the plurality of participle entities are translated as one sentence into sentences in different languages, respectively.

As an example, the same language may be one of the languages used by the plurality of word segmentation entities. For example, if the plurality of segmented entities use languages including chinese and english, and wherein the number of segmented entities using chinese is greater than the number of segmented entities using english, the same language may be english.

By way of example, the plurality of languages may include: different languages used by the plurality of word segmentation entities. For example, if the languages used by the plurality of participle entities include chinese and english, the plurality of languages may include: chinese and english, in other words, the plurality of segmented entities can be translated into sentences in english and sentences in chinese, respectively.

As an example, when the languages used by the plurality of participle entities selected by the second user operation are different, the step of translating the plurality of participle entities as a single word to obtain the translation result may include: translating the word segmentation entities into words in the same language respectively as single words; alternatively, each participle entity in the plurality of participle entities is translated as a single word into a word in a language different from the language in which it is used, for example, the language different from the language in which it is used may be: the language used by other participle entities in the plurality of participle entities.

In step S30, the translation result is displayed in the interactive interface.

As an example, the translation results may be displayed insertedly in the interactive interface. Specifically, the translation result is displayed in a form of inserting the translation result in the interactive interface, so that the at least one word segmentation entity and the translation result can be displayed in the same interactive interface. According to the exemplary embodiment of the invention, the user is facilitated to select other word segmentation entities again for translation.

As an example, a word segmentation translation bar for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity may be newly added in the interactive interface.

As an example, a participle translation bar folded to display translation results of the selected participle entity may be expanded in the interactive interface. In other words, the word segmentation translation bar is folded before the second user operation is not received after the interactive interface is started to be displayed; and when receiving a second user operation, expanding the word segmentation translation column and displaying a corresponding translation result.

For example, as shown in fig. 3, a participle translation column may be newly added or expanded at a position adjacent to the participle result column.

As an example, a window for displaying the translation result of the selected participle entity may pop up on the interactive interface, wherein the window does not obscure the at least one participle entity.

As an example, the method of providing translation results according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include: after the translation result of the participle entity selected by the second user operation is displayed, when the second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate is received again, updating the content in the participle translation column or the window to the translation result of the participle entity selected again (namely, newly selected) by the second user operation; or adding a translation result of the segmentation entity selected again by a second user operation in the segmentation translation bar or the window (namely adding display content on the basis of keeping the original display content of the segmentation translation bar or the window); or, a word segmentation translation bar for displaying the translation result of the word segmentation entity selected again through the operation of the second user is newly added in the interactive interface, namely, the word segmentation translation bar is newly added on the basis of keeping the originally displayed word segmentation translation bar.

As an example, the step of displaying an interactive interface including the at least one word segmentation entity in response to the first user operation comprises: in response to the first user operation, displaying an interactive interface including the at least one participle entity and recommendation information associated with the at least one participle entity, wherein the method of providing translation results according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include: in response to a second user operation, determining whether recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected through the second user operation exists in the recommendation information; and when the word segmentation entity exists, displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity and/or a translation result of the recommendation information in association with the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity.

As an example, the recommendation information associated with the selected participle entity and/or the translation result of the recommendation information may be displayed at a position adjacent to the translation result of the selected participle entity.

As an example, recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity may be displayed in association with a translation result of the selected word segmentation entity; and when receiving a user operation for translating the recommendation information, displaying the translation result of the recommendation information and the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity and/or the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity in an associated manner.

As an example, recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected by the second user operation and/or a translation result of the recommendation information may also be displayed in the window.

As an example, a recommendation information field for displaying recommendation information associated with the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation may be adjusted to be displayed at a position adjacent to the segmentation translation field in the interactive interface. On this basis, for example, the translation result of the recommendation information may also be displayed in the recommendation information column, or the translation result of the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity may also be displayed in the word segmentation translation column.

For example, as shown in fig. 4, a recommendation information field for displaying recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity "great wall of octada ridge" selected by the second user operation is originally displayed at a position behind the interactive interface, and according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the recommendation information field may be adjusted to be displayed at a position adjacent to the word segmentation translation field in the interactive interface, that is, the display order of the recommendation information field in the interactive interface may be adjusted, in response to the second user operation. On the basis, the translation result of the recommendation information can also be displayed in the recommendation information column, as shown in fig. 5.

As an example, the translation result of the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity may also be displayed in the word segmentation translation bar.

As an example, a recommendation information translation bar for displaying a translation result of recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity may be newly added at a position adjacent to the word segmentation translation bar in the interactive interface. For example, as shown in fig. 6.

As an example, a recommended information column for displaying recommended information associated with the participle entity selected by the second user operation may be adjusted to a position adjacent to the participle translation column in the interactive interface for display, and a recommended information translation column for displaying a translation result of the recommended information may be added at a position adjacent to the recommended information column. For example, as shown in fig. 7.

Further, as an example, the method of providing translation results according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include: in response to a user operation for obtaining translation extension information of a translation result of the selected word segmentation entity, skipping to display an interactive interface for displaying the translation extension information (i.e., skipping to another interactive interface); or, further expanding the folded part of the participle translation column and displaying the translation expansion information on the expanded part. For example, the translation extension information may include at least one of: paraphrase, dictionary, illustrative sentence, encyclopedia.

As shown in fig. 8, an apparatus for providing translation results according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a word segmentation interface providing unit 10 and a translation result acquiring unit 20.

Specifically, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 is configured to, in response to a first user operation, display an interactive interface including at least one segmentation entity obtained by performing splitting processing on a corresponding text, where the text is a text corresponding to an operation object of the first user operation.

The translation result acquisition unit 20 is configured to acquire a translation result of the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation in response to the second user operation for selecting the displayed segmentation entity for translation.

As an example, the second user operation may include: selecting one or more word segmentation entities in the at least one word segmentation entity, and then selecting a translation control; or selecting one or more word segmentation entities in the at least one word segmentation entity, and dragging the selected word segmentation entities to the position of the translation control. It should be understood that the second user action may be any other suitable user action for selecting the displayed word segmentation entity for translation. It should be understood that the first user operation and the second user operation indicate two operations different in function, rather than indicating operations by different users.

As an example, if the language used by the selected participle entity is not the default language of the current electronic terminal, the translation result obtaining unit 20 may translate the selected participle entity into a word in the default language.

As an example, if the language used by the selected participle entity is the default language of the current electronic terminal, the translation result obtaining unit 20 may translate the selected participle entity into a word in another language used by the user. For example, if the default language of the current electronic terminal is chinese, and besides chinese, english is used by the user most frequently on the current electronic terminal, the translation result obtaining unit 20 may use english as another language used by the user. It is to be understood that the translation result acquisition unit 20 may acquire the language used by the user other than the default language in various appropriate manners.

As an example, the translatable result acquiring unit 20 translates the selected participle entity into a word in a language used by other participle entities of the at least one participle entity. For example, if the segmented word entity selected by the user for translation uses english, and the language in which the other segmented word entities except for the selected segmented word entity are most frequently used among the at least one segmented word entity is chinese, the translation result acquisition unit 20 may translate the selected segmented word entity into a word in chinese.

Further, it should be understood that the participle interface providing unit 10 may also provide the user with language candidates, and the user may select which language the selected participle entity is translated in by selecting the language candidates.

As an example, when the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation is a plurality of segmentation entities, the translation result acquisition unit 20 may translate the plurality of segmentation entities as one sentence and/or as a single word, respectively, to acquire a translation result.

As an example, when the languages used by the plurality of participle entities selected by the second user operation are different, the translation result acquiring unit 20 may translate only the plurality of participle entities as one sentence into words in the same language; or, the word segmentation entities are used as a sentence and translated according to multiple languages to obtain a translation result. In other words, the plurality of participle entities are translated as one sentence into a sentence in one language, or the plurality of participle entities are translated as one sentence into sentences in different languages, respectively.

By way of example, the plurality of languages may include: different languages used by the plurality of word segmentation entities.

As an example, when the languages used by the plurality of participle entities selected by the second user operation are different, the translation result acquisition unit 20 may translate only the plurality of participle entities into words in the same language as a single word, respectively; alternatively, each participle entity in the plurality of participle entities is translated as a single word into a word in a language different from the language in which it is used, for example, the language different from the language in which it is used may be: the language used by other participle entities in the plurality of participle entities.

The word segmentation interface providing unit 10 displays the translation result in the interactive interface.

As an example, the word segmentation interface providing unit 10 may display the translation result in an insertion manner in the interactive interface. Specifically, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 displays the translation result in a form of inserting the translation result in the interactive interface, so that the at least one segmentation entity and the translation result can be displayed in the same interactive interface. According to the exemplary embodiment of the invention, the user is facilitated to select other word segmentation entities again for translation.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may add a segmentation translation bar for displaying a translation result of the selected segmentation entity in the interactive interface.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may expand a collapsed segmentation translation column for displaying a translation result of the selected segmentation entity in the interactive interface. In other words, the word segmentation translation bar is folded before the second user operation is not received after the interactive interface is started to be displayed; and when receiving a second user operation, expanding the word segmentation translation column and displaying a corresponding translation result.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may pop up a window for displaying a translation result of the selected segmentation entity on the interactive interface, wherein the window does not obscure the at least one segmentation entity.

As an example, after displaying the translation result of the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation, when the second user operation for selecting the displayed segmentation entity to translate is received again, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may update the contents in the segmentation translation bar or the window to the translation result of the segmentation entity selected again (i.e., newly selected) by the second user operation; alternatively, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may add a translation result of the segmentation entity selected again by the second user operation in the segmentation translation bar or the window (i.e., add new display content on the basis of keeping the original display content of the segmentation translation bar or the window); alternatively, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may add a segmentation translation bar for displaying the translation result of the segmentation entity selected again by the second user operation in the interactive interface, that is, add a segmentation translation bar on the basis of maintaining the originally displayed segmentation translation bar.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may display an interactive interface including the at least one segmentation entity and recommendation information associated with the at least one segmentation entity in response to a first user operation, wherein the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may determine whether recommendation information associated with a segmentation entity selected by a second user operation exists in the recommendation information in response to a second user operation; and when the word segmentation entity exists, displaying recommendation information and/or translation results of the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity in an associated manner with the translation results of the selected word segmentation entity.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may display recommendation information associated with the selected segmentation entity and/or a translation result of the recommendation information at a position adjacent to the translation result of the selected segmentation entity.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may display recommendation information associated with the selected segmentation entity in association with a translation result of the selected segmentation entity; and when receiving a user operation for translating the recommendation information, displaying the translation result of the recommendation information and the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity and/or the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity in an associated manner.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may further display recommendation information associated with the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation and/or a translation result of the recommendation information in the window.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may adjust a recommendation information field for displaying recommendation information associated with the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation to a position adjacent to the segmentation translation field in the interactive interface for display. On this basis, for example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may further display the translation result of the recommendation information in the recommendation information column, or may further display the translation result of the recommendation information associated with the selected segmentation entity in the segmentation translation column.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may further display a translation result of the recommendation information associated with the selected segmentation entity in the segmentation translation bar.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may add a recommendation information translation bar for displaying a translation result of recommendation information associated with the selected segmentation entity at a position adjacent to the segmentation translation bar in the interactive interface.

As an example, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may adjust a recommendation information field for displaying recommendation information associated with the segmentation entity selected by the second user operation to a position adjacent to the segmentation translation field in the interactive interface for display, and add a recommendation information translation field for displaying a translation result of the recommendation information at a position adjacent to the recommendation information field.

Further, as an example, the apparatus for providing translation results according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may further include: an extension information providing unit (not shown) for jumping to display an interactive interface for displaying translation extension information of the selected word segmentation entity (i.e., jumping to another interactive interface) in response to a user operation of the translation extension information for acquiring a translation result of the translation extension information; alternatively, the segmentation interface providing unit 10 may further expand the folded portion of the segmentation translation bar and display the translation expansion information on the expanded portion. For example, the translation extension information may include at least one of: paraphrase, dictionary, illustrative sentence, encyclopedia.

It should be understood that the apparatus for providing translation results according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may perform the methods described with reference to fig. 2 to 7, and thus, in order to avoid redundancy, detailed description thereof is omitted.

Further, it should be understood that each unit in the apparatus for providing translation results according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention may be implemented as a hardware component and/or a software component. The individual units may be implemented, for example, using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) or Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), depending on the processing performed by the individual units as defined by the skilled person.

The computer-readable storage medium according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention stores a computer program that, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to perform the method of providing translation results of the above-described exemplary embodiment. The computer readable storage medium is any data storage device that can store data which can be read by a computer system. Examples of computer-readable storage media include: read-only memory, random access memory, read-only optical disks, magnetic tapes, floppy disks, optical data storage devices, and carrier waves (such as data transmission through the internet via wired or wireless transmission paths).

An electronic terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a processor (not shown) and a memory (not shown), wherein the memory stores a computer program which, when executed by the processor, implements the method of providing translation results as in the above exemplary embodiments.

Although a few exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it would be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the invention, the scope of which is defined in the claims and their equivalents.

Claims

1. A method of providing translation results, wherein the method comprises:

responding to a first user operation, and displaying an interactive interface comprising at least one word segmentation entity obtained after splitting processing is carried out on a corresponding text, wherein the text is a text corresponding to an operation object of the first user operation;

responding to a second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate, and acquiring a translation result of the selected participle entity;

displaying the translation result in the interactive interface,

wherein the step of displaying an interactive interface including the at least one word segmentation entity in response to the first user operation comprises: displaying an interactive interface including the at least one word segmentation entity and recommendation information associated with the at least one word segmentation entity in response to a first user operation,

wherein the method further comprises:

in response to a second user operation, determining whether recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected through the second user operation exists in the recommendation information;

and when the word segmentation entity exists, displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity and/or a translation result of the recommendation information in association with the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein displaying the translation results in the interactive interface comprises: inserting and displaying the translation result in the interactive interface;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the operation object of the first user operation includes at least one of: pictures, video, voice, text;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the second user operation includes: selecting one or more word segmentation entities in the at least one word segmentation entity, and then selecting a translation control; or selecting one or more word segmentation entities in the at least one word segmentation entity, and dragging the selected word segmentation entities to the position of the translation control;

and/or

The step of obtaining the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity comprises the following steps: if the language used by the selected word segmentation entity is not the default language of the current electronic terminal, translating the selected word segmentation entity into words in the default language; or if the language used by the selected word segmentation entity is the default language of the current electronic terminal, translating the selected word segmentation entity into words in other languages used by the user; or, translating the selected participle entity into a word in a language used by other participle entities in the at least one participle entity;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the step of obtaining the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity comprises the following steps: and when the word segmentation entity selected by the second user operation is a plurality of word segmentation entities, translating the word segmentation entities as a sentence and/or as a single word respectively to obtain a translation result.

The method of claim 2, wherein the step of insertingly displaying the translation result in the interactive interface comprises: a word segmentation translation column used for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity is newly added in the interactive interface; or expanding a folded word segmentation translation column for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity in the interactive interface; or popping up a window for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity on the interactive interface, wherein the window does not shield the at least one word segmentation entity;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the step of displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity and/or a translation result of the recommendation information and a translation result of the selected word segmentation entity in an associated manner comprises the following steps: displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity and/or a translation result of the recommendation information at a position adjacent to the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

when the languages used by the plurality of participle entities selected by the second user operation are different, the step of translating the plurality of participle entities as a single word to obtain a translation result comprises: translating the word segmentation entities into words in the same language respectively as single words; alternatively, each participle entity in the plurality of participle entities is translated as a single word into a word in a language different from the language in which it is used.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the method further comprises:

after the translation result of the participle entity selected by the second user operation is displayed, when the second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate is received again, the content in the participle translation column or the window is updated to the translation result of the participle entity selected again by the second user operation; or newly adding a translation result of the participle entity selected again through second user operation in the participle translation column or the window; or a word segmentation translation column for displaying the translation result of the word segmentation entity selected again through the operation of a second user is newly added in the interactive interface;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the method further comprises the following steps: responding to user operation of translation expansion information for acquiring the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity, and skipping and displaying an interactive interface for displaying the translation expansion information; or, further expanding the folded part of the participle translation column and displaying the translation expansion information on the expanded part;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the same language is one of the languages used by the word segmentation entities;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the plurality of languages includes: the language used by the plurality of word segmentation entities;

wherein the step of displaying the translation result in the interactive interface in an inserting manner comprises the following steps: a word segmentation translation column used for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity is newly added in the interactive interface; or unfolding the folded participle translation column for displaying the translation result of the selected participle entity in the interactive interface,

wherein the step of displaying recommendation information associated with the selected participle entity and/or a translation result of the recommendation information at a position adjacent to the translation result of the selected participle entity comprises:

adjusting a recommendation information column for displaying recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected through the second user operation to a position adjacent to the word segmentation translation column in the interactive interface for displaying;

or adjusting a recommendation information column for displaying recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity to a position adjacent to the word segmentation translation column in the interactive interface for displaying, wherein a translation result of the recommendation information is also displayed in the recommendation information column;

5. An apparatus for providing translation results, wherein the apparatus comprises:

the word segmentation interface providing unit is used for responding to the first user operation and displaying an interactive interface comprising at least one word segmentation entity obtained by splitting a corresponding text, wherein the text is a text corresponding to an operation object operated by the first user;

the translation result acquisition unit is used for responding to a second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate and acquiring a translation result of the selected participle entity;

wherein the word segmentation interface providing unit displays the translation result in the interactive interface,

wherein the word segmentation interface providing unit displays an interactive interface including the at least one word segmentation entity and recommendation information associated with the at least one word segmentation entity in response to a first user operation,

the word segmentation interface providing unit also responds to a second user operation, and determines whether recommendation information associated with the word segmentation entity selected through the second user operation exists in the recommendation information; and when the word segmentation entity exists, displaying recommendation information and/or translation results of the recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity in an associated manner with the translation results of the selected word segmentation entity.

6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the word segmentation interface providing unit insertedly displays the translation result in the interactive interface;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

and/or

If the language used by the selected word segmentation entity is not the default language of the current electronic terminal, the translation result acquisition unit translates the selected word segmentation entity into a word in the default language; or if the language used by the selected word segmentation entity is the default language of the current electronic terminal, the translation result acquisition unit translates the selected word segmentation entity into words in other languages used by the user; or the translation result acquisition unit translates the selected participle entity into a word in a language used by other participle entities in the at least one participle entity;

when the participle entity selected by the second user operation is a plurality of participle entities, the translation result acquisition unit translates the plurality of participle entities as one sentence and/or as a single word respectively to acquire a translation result.

The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the segmentation interface providing unit adds a segmentation translation bar for displaying a translation result of the selected segmentation entity in the interactive interface; or the word segmentation interface providing unit expands the folded word segmentation translation column for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity in the interactive interface; or the word segmentation interface providing unit pops up a window for displaying the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity on the interactive interface, wherein the window does not shield the at least one word segmentation entity;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the word segmentation interface providing unit displays recommendation information associated with the selected word segmentation entity and/or a translation result of the recommendation information at a position adjacent to the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity;

when the languages used by the multiple word segmentation entities selected by the operation of a second user are different, the translation result acquisition unit only translates the multiple word segmentation entities into words in the same language as one sentence; or the translation result acquiring unit translates the word segmentation entities as a sentence according to multiple languages to acquire a translation result;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

when the languages used by the multiple word segmentation entities selected by the operation of a second user are different, the translation result acquisition unit only translates the multiple word segmentation entities into words in the same language as a single word respectively; alternatively, each participle entity in the plurality of participle entities is translated as a single word into a word in a language different from the language in which it is used.

8. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein,

after the translation result of the participle entity selected by the second user operation is displayed, when the second user operation for selecting the displayed participle entity to translate is received again, the participle interface providing unit updates the content in the participle translation column or the window to the translation result of the participle entity selected again by the second user operation; or the word segmentation interface providing unit newly adds a translation result of the word segmentation entity selected again through the operation of a second user in the word segmentation translation column or the window; or the word segmentation interface providing unit adds a word segmentation translation column for displaying the translation result of the word segmentation entity selected again by the operation of the second user in the interactive interface;

and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,

the apparatus further comprises: the extension information providing unit is used for responding to the user operation of the translation extension information for acquiring the translation result of the selected word segmentation entity and skipping and displaying an interactive interface for displaying the translation extension information; or the word segmentation interface providing unit further expands the folded part of the word segmentation translation bar and displays the translation expansion information on the expanded part;
