AMOLED显示面板以及显示装置
技术领域
本发明涉及显示器技术领域,尤其涉及一种AMOLED显示面板以及显示装置。
背景技术
有机发光二极管(Organic Light Emitting Diode,OLED)具有自发光的特性,采用非常薄的有机材料涂层和玻璃基板,当电流通过时,有机材料就会发光,而且有机发光二极管显示屏幕可视角度大,并且能够显著节省电能,因此现在有机发光二极管的应用越来越广泛。
OLED显示装置的核心部件是OLED显示面板,OLED显示面板的结构通常包括:TFT阵列基板以及依次制作于TFT基板上的阳极层、像素定义层、用于传输空穴的第一公共层、发光层、用于传输电子的第二公共层以及阴极层。OLED显示面板的工作原理是在阳极和阴极之间电场的作用下,空穴通过第一公共层传输到发光层,电子通过第二公共层传输到发光层,空穴和电子在发光层之内复合进而发光。
OLED显示装置按照驱动方式可以分为无源矩阵型OLED(Passive Matrix OLED,PMOLED)和有源矩阵型OLED(Active Matrix OLED,AMOLED)两大类,即直接寻址和薄膜晶体管矩阵寻址两类。其中,AMOLED具有呈阵列式排布的像素,属于主动显示类型,发光效能高,通常用作高清晰度的大尺寸显示装置。AMOLED是电流驱动器件,当有电流流过有机发光二极管时,有机发光二极管发光,且发光亮度由流过有机发光二极管自身的电流决定。大部分已有的集成电路都只传输电压信号,故AMOLED的像素驱动电路需要完成将电压信号转变为电流信号的任务。
传统的AMOLED像素驱动电路通常为2T1C,即两个薄膜晶体管加一个电容的结构,将电压转换为电流。其中一个薄膜晶体管为开关薄膜晶体管,用于控制数据信号的进入,另一个薄膜晶体管为驱动薄膜晶体管,用于控制通过有机发光二极管的电流,因此驱动薄膜晶体管的阈值电压的重要性便十分明显,阈值电压的正向或负向漂移都有会使得在相同数据信号下有不同的电流通过有机发光二极管。
另外,由于AMOLED是利用通过有机材料薄膜的电流来产生光,不同的有机材料发射不同颜色的光,随着AMOLED的使用,器件中的有机材料老化,同时发光效率会变低,缩短了显示器件的使用寿命。不同有机材料可能以不同速度老化,进而导致不同程度的颜色老化,并且显示器的白场随着显示器的使用而变化。另外,各个像素可能以不同于其它像素的速率老化,导致显示不均匀。因此,AMOLED显示器件必须具有补偿措施来保持其性能。
发明内容
有鉴于此,本发明提供了一种AMOLED显示面板,以解决AMOLED显示面板的亮度补偿是问题。
为了达到上述的目的,本发明采用了如下的技术方案:
一种AMOLED显示面板,包括TFT阵列基板和设置在所述TFT阵列基板上的呈阵列排布的子像素,其中,每一子像素包括发光层结构相同的第一发光区和第二发光区,所述第一发光区和所述第二发光区的其中之一为顶发光结构,另一个为底发光结构;所述第一发光区用于显示画面,所述第二发光区的出光面上设置有光检测构件,所述光检测构件用于检测所述第二发光区的发光亮度,以确定所述子像素是否需要进行亮度补偿以及相应的亮度补偿值。
其中,所述TFT阵列基板包括像素电路区和位于像素电路区之外的透光区,所述第一发光区为顶发光结构,对应设置在所述像素电路区上方;所述第二发光区为底发光结构,对应设置在所述透光区上方。
其中,每一子像素包括依次设置在所述TFT阵列基板上的阳极、有机发光层和阴极;其中,所述第一发光区和所述第二发光区共用相同的阳极和有机发光层,所述第一发光区的阴极为透明阴极,所述第二发光区的阴极为不透明阴极。
其中,所述光检测构件设置在所述TFT阵列基板的背离所述子像素一侧的表面上。
其中,每一子像素对应设置有一个所述光检测构件。
其中,相邻的多个子像素对应设置有一个共用的所述光检测构件。
其中,所述光检测构件为光电二极管。
其中,所述TFT阵列基板上的呈阵列排布的子像素包括红色子像素、绿色子像素和蓝色子像素。
本发明还提供了一种显示装置,其包括驱动模块和如上所述的AMOLED显示面板,所述驱动模块包括:
对比单元,用于将所述光检测构件检测到的亮度信号值与预设的标准亮度信号值进行比较,以确定是否需要进行亮度补偿以及相应的补偿值;
接收单元,用于接收待显示的图像数据信号;
补偿单元,根据所述对比单元确定的补偿值,对所述图像数据信号进行亮度补偿,以使所述光检测构件检测到的亮度信号值与预设的标准亮度信号值相符合;
输出单元,将补偿后的图像数据信号输出至所述AMOLED显示面板,驱动所述AMOLED显示面板显示图像。
相比于现有技术,本发明实施例提供的AMOLED显示面板及其相应的显示装置,在一个子像素中设置有顶发光结构区和底发光结构区,具体实施例中,顶发光结构区用于显示画面,而底发光结构区则用于检测发光亮度,若从底发光结构区检测到的发光亮度与标准值不符,则说明用于显示画面顶发光结构区的发光发生异常,此时通过对驱动信号进行补偿,使得顶发光结构区的发光恢复到标准亮度要求,能够很好地提高显示面板的显示品质。

具体实施方式
为使本发明的目的、技术方案和优点更加清楚,下面结合附图对本发明的具体实施方式进行详细说明。这些优选实施方式的示例在附图中进行了例示。附图中所示和根据附图描述的本发明的实施方式仅仅是示例性的,并且本发明并不限于这些实施方式。
在此,还需要说明的是,为了避免因不必要的细节而模糊了本发明,在附图中仅仅示出了与根据本发明的方案密切相关的结构和/或处理步骤,而省略了与本发明关系不大的其他细节。
本实施例首先提供了一种AMOLED显示面板,如图1所示,包括TFT阵列基板1和设置在所述TFT阵列基板1上的呈阵列排布的子像素2。需要说明的是,附图中仅示例性地示出了其中的一个子像素2。
其中,每一子像素2包括发光层结构相同的第一发光区21和第二发光区22,所述第一发光区21和所述第二发光区22的其中之一为顶发光结构,另一个为底发光结构。在此,所述发光层结构相同是指第一发光区21和第二发光区22中,发光层的材料相同,发光层的制备工艺也相同,并且第一发光区21和第二发光区22共用相同的像素驱动电路。
其中,所述第一发光区21用于显示画面,所述第二发光区22的出光面上设置有光检测构件3,所述光检测构件3用于检测所述第二发光区22的发光亮度,以确定所述子像素2是否需要进行亮度补偿以及相应的亮度补偿值。
通过光检测构件3对所述第二发光区22的发光亮度进行检测,将检测值与标准值进行比较,若检测值与预设的标准值不符,则说明第一发光区21和第二发光区22中对应的发光层发生老化,或者是对应的像素驱动电路中的薄膜晶体管发生了电压漂移,此时需要对显示面板的驱动信号进行补偿,直至所述光检测构件3检测到的发光亮度与预设的标准值相符,由此达到提高显示面板的显示品质。其中,所述第二发光区22的发光亮度标准值,例如可以是该显示面板在出厂时所述第二发光区22的发光亮度。
具体地,如图1所示,本实施例中,所述第一发光区21为顶发光结构,所述第二发光区22为底发光结构。所述TFT阵列基板1包括像素电路区11和位于像素电路区11之外的透光区12,所述第一发光区21对应设置在所述像素电路区11上方,所述第二发光区22对应设置在所述透光区12上方。进一步地,每一子像素2包括依次设置在所述TFT阵列基板1上的阳极201、有机发光层202和阴极203,所述第一发光区21和所述第二发光区22共用相同的阳极201和有机发光层202,所述第一发光区21的阴极203a为透明阴极,所述第二发光区22的阴极为不透明阴极203b。所述阳极201电性连接到所述所述TFT阵列基板1中像素电路区11,即,所述第一发光区21和第二发光区22共用相同的像素驱动电路。
通常地,所述有机发光层202包括依次设置在所述阳极201上的用于传输空穴的第一公共层、发光层(Emissive Layer,EML)和用于传输电子的第二公共层。其中,所述第一公共层包括按照逐渐远离所述阳极201的方向依次设置的空穴注入层(Hole InjectionLayer,HIL和空穴传输层(Hole Transport Layer,HTL),还可以进一步地设置有电子阻挡层;所述第二公共层则包括按照逐渐远离所述阴极203的方向依次设置的电子注入层(Electron Injection Layer,EIL)和电子传输层(Electron Transport Layer,ETL),还可以进一步地设置有空穴阻挡层。
其中,所述光检测构件3设置在所述TFT阵列基板1的背离所述子像素2一侧的表面上,所述光检测构件3可以选择为光电二极管。具体地,本实施例中,参阅图1和图2,所述TFT阵列基板1上的呈阵列排布的子像素2包括红色子像素2R、绿色子像素2G和蓝色子像素2B,依次排列的红色子像素2R、绿色子像素2G和蓝色子像素2B组成一个像素单元。其中,红色子像素2R、绿色子像素2G和蓝色子像素2B都分别包括第一发光区21和第二发光区22,每一子像素2R、2G、2B对应设置有一个所述光检测构件3,即,每一个光检测构件3仅用于检测其中一个子像素2中的第二发光区22的发光亮度。
在另外的实施例中,也可以这样设置:相邻的多个子像素2对应设置有一个共用的所述光检测构件3,即,一个光检测构件3用于检测相邻的多个子像素2中的第二发光区22的发光亮度。作为一个示例,如图3所示,一个像素单元中的红色子像素2R、绿色子像素2G和蓝色子像素2B对应设置有一个光检测构件3,所述光检测构件3用于检测一个像素单元中红色子像素2R、绿色子像素2G和蓝色子像素2B的第二发光区22的发光亮度。
本实施例还提供了一种显示装置,如图4所示,所述显示装置包括驱动模块100和显示面板200,所述驱动模块100向所述显示面板200提供驱动信号以使所述显示面板200显示画面。
其中,所述显示面板200采用了本发明如上实施例所提供的AMOLED显示面板。
其中,如图4所示,所述驱动模块100包括对比单元101、接收单元102、补偿单元103和输出单元104。
所述对比单元101与所述AMOLED显示面板200中的所述光检测构件3电连接,所述对比单元101中存储有预设的标准亮度信号值,所述对比单元101用于将所述光检测构件3检测到的亮度信号值与预设的标准亮度信号值进行比较,以确定是否需要进行亮度补偿以及相应的补偿值。
所述接收单元102用于接收待显示的图像数据信号。
所述补偿单元103分别连接到对比单元101、接收单元102和输出单元104。所述接收单元102将接收到的图像数据信号发送到所述补偿单元103,所述对比单元101将信号补偿值发送到所述补偿单元103,所述补偿单元103根据所述对比单元101确定的信号补偿值对所述图像数据信号进行补偿,然后将补偿后的图像数据信号发送到所述输出单元104。
所述输出单元104将补偿后的图像数据信号输出至所述AMOLED显示面板200,驱动所述AMOLED显示面板200显示图像。
如上所述的显示装置的亮度补偿方法,可以按照如下的步骤进行:
S1、向所述接收单元102提供测试图像的图像数据信号,由所述输出单元104将该图像数据信号输出至所述AMOLED显示面板200,驱动所述AMOLED显示面板200显示图像。
S2、在显示测试图像时,由所述光检测构件3检测AMOLED显示面板200中的第二发光区22的发光亮度。
S3、由所述对比单元101将所述光检测构件3检测到的亮度信号值与预设的标准亮度信号值进行比较:若检测值与标准值不符,则说明需要进行亮度补偿并确定相应的补偿值,补偿值的大小是检测值与标准值的差值;若检测值与标准值相符,则说明不需要进行亮度补偿,或者说其亮度补偿值为0。其中,标准亮度信号值是指预存的对应于测试图像的标准亮度信号,例如可以是该显示面板在出厂时,当输入的数据信号为测试图像的数据信号,此时所述第二发光区22对应的发光亮度信号。
S4、向所述接收单元102提供待显示的图像数据信号,由补偿单元103根据所述对比单元101确定的信号补偿值对所述图像数据信号进行补偿,然后再将补偿后的图像数据信号输出至显示面板200。
需要说明的是,随着使用时间的增长,亮度衰减的程度可能会越来越大,因此如上的显示装置及其亮度补偿方法中,可以定期使用测试图像进行亮度检测,以便对比单元确定的亮度补偿值能够适应于当前的亮度衰减的程度。
综上所述,本发明实施例提供的AMOLED显示面板及其相应的显示装置,在一个子像素中设置有顶发光结构区和底发光结构区,具体实施例中,顶发光结构区用于显示画面,而底发光结构区则用于检测发光亮度,若从底发光结构区检测到的发光亮度与标准值不符,则说明用于显示画面顶发光结构区的发光发生异常,此时通过对驱动信号进行补偿,使得顶发光结构区的发光恢复到标准亮度要求,能够很好地提高显示面板的显示品质。
需要说明的是,在本文中,诸如第一和第二等之类的关系术语仅仅用来将一个实体或者操作与另一个实体或操作区分开来,而不一定要求或者暗示这些实体或操作之间存在任何这种实际的关系或者顺序。而且,术语“包括”、“包含”或者其任何其他变体意在涵盖非排他性的包含,从而使得包括一系列要素的过程、方法、物品或者设备不仅包括那些要素,而且还包括没有明确列出的其他要素,或者是还包括为这种过程、方法、物品或者设备所固有的要素。在没有更多限制的情况下,由语句“包括一个……”限定的要素,并不排除在包括所述要素的过程、方法、物品或者设备中还存在另外的相同要素。
以上所述仅是本申请的具体实施方式,应当指出,对于本技术领域的普通技术人员来说,在不脱离本申请原理的前提下,还可以做出若干改进和润饰,这些改进和润饰也应视为本申请的保护范围。

Claims (5)

1.一种AMOLED显示面板,包括TFT阵列基板和设置在所述TFT阵列基板上的呈阵列排布的子像素,其特征在于,每一子像素包括发光层结构相同的第一发光区和第二发光区,所述第一发光区和所述第二发光区的其中之一为顶发光结构,另一个为底发光结构;所述第一发光区用于显示画面,所述第二发光区的出光面上设置有光检测构件,所述光检测构件用于检测所述第二发光区的发光亮度,以确定所述子像素是否需要进行亮度补偿以及相应的亮度补偿值;
其中,所述TFT阵列基板包括像素电路区和位于像素电路区之外的透光区,所述第一发光区为顶发光结构,对应设置在所述像素电路区上方;所述第二发光区为底发光结构,对应设置在所述透光区上方;
其中,每一子像素对应设置有一个所述光检测构件,每一子像素包括依次设置在所述TFT阵列基板上的阳极、有机发光层和阴极;所述第一发光区和所述第二发光区共用相同的阳极和有机发光层,所述第一发光区的阴极为透明阴极,所述第二发光区的阴极为不透明阴极。
2.根据权利要求1所述的AMOLED显示面板,其特征在于,所述光检测构件设置在所述TFT阵列基板的背离所述子像素一侧的表面上。
3.根据权利要求1所述的AMOLED显示面板,其特征在于,所述光检测构件为光电二极管。
4.根据权利要求1所述的AMOLED显示面板,其特征在于,所述TFT阵列基板上的呈阵列排布的子像素包括红色子像素、绿色子像素和蓝色子像素。
5.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括驱动模块和如权利要求1-4任一所述的AMOLED显示面板,所述驱动模块包括:
对比单元,用于将所述光检测构件检测到的亮度信号值与预设的标准亮度信号值进行比较,以确定是否需要进行亮度补偿以及相应的补偿值;
接收单元,用于接收待显示的图像数据信号;
补偿单元,根据所述对比单元确定的补偿值,对所述图像数据信号进行亮度补偿,以使所述光检测构件检测到的亮度信号值与预设的标准亮度信号值相符合;
输出单元,将补偿后的图像数据信号输出至所述AMOLED显示面板,驱动所述AMOLED显示面板显示图像。
