As shown in fig. 1, the present embodiment provides a jig for forming a reinforcing layer 100 on a side edge of at least one side of a display panel 2, the jig comprising:
a support 1 for carrying at least one display panel 2;
the display panel comprises a mask plate 3, wherein at least one hollowed-out region capable of exposing the side edge of at least one display panel 2 is arranged on the mask plate 3, and the area of each hollowed-out region is not larger than that of the corresponding side edge of the display panel 2;
and the coating structures 4 and the supports 1 are respectively positioned at two opposite sides of the mask plate 3 and are used for coating a reinforcing material for forming the reinforcing layer 100 at least in the hollow areas of the mask plate 3.
Compared with the dispensing process in the prior art, the jig of the invention can enable the reinforcing material to completely cover the side edge of the display panel 2 so as to form the reinforcing layer 100 on the side edge of the display panel 2, can completely cover the damage or crack caused by product cutting, improve the product yield, enhance the product strength and reduce the process difficulty, and the display panel after the reinforcing layer is formed is shown in figure 2.

In order to improve the working efficiency, in this embodiment, at least two of the connection plates 11 are disposed on the connection surface at intervals, and a distance between two adjacent connection plates 11 is greater than a thickness of one display panel 2.

cutting the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20 after the box is completed to form a plurality of display panels 2;
the jig is used to coat the reinforcing material on the side of at least one side of the display panel 2 to form the reinforcing layer 100.
Compared with the prior art in which the reinforcing layer 100 is formed by coating the reinforcing material on the side edge of at least one side of the display panel 2, the adhesive is only dripped on the side edge of the display panel 2, so that the whole damage or crack caused by product cutting can be effectively covered, the product strength is enhanced, and the product yield is improved.

A display panel manufactured by the method according to any one of claims 7 to 10, wherein the display panel includes a first side on which the connecting lines are disposed and three sides on which the connecting lines are not disposed, and a reinforcing layer is disposed on each of the three sides on which the connecting lines are not disposed, and a length of the reinforcing layer in a direction parallel to a length direction of the corresponding side is not less than a length of the corresponding side.

The display panel according to claim 11, wherein the display panel comprises a first accommodating space in which the frame sealing adhesive is disposed and a second accommodating space located at a periphery of the first accommodating space, and the reinforcing layer is formed in the second accommodating space.
