Background
In rail vehicles, the bogie is an important component of the vehicle, and the trailer bogie is mounted on the underside of the trailer body and generally comprises the components of a frame, primary suspension, secondary suspension, axle boxes, wheel sets, brake devices, etc.
In a typical trailer truck, the brake assembly includes brake calipers, with the beams in the frame having brake pads directly connected thereto, the brake pads forming a cantilever structure relative to the beams, the brake calipers being connected to corresponding brake pads.
However, the brake seat is directly connected to the cross beam, the cantilever is relatively long in the running direction of the vehicle, and the connection area between the brake seat and the cross beam is usually a variable cross section connection, so that the problem of stress concentration on the cross beam in the area is serious under the frequent action of braking force, and a complex structure and welding design are usually required, so that the design and processing difficulty of the cross beam are increased.

Further, the connecting portion 6 may be a U-shaped plate opening toward the corresponding connecting plate 21, the U-shaped end face of the connecting portion 6 being welded to the side plate of the side member 2, and the top end face of the connecting portion 6 being welded to the lower surface of the connecting plate 21. By providing the connecting portion 6 as a U-shaped plate, the weight of the connecting portion 6 can be reduced while ensuring the welding area of the connecting portion 6 and the connecting plate 21. Of course, the connection portion 6 may be a C-shaped plate, a polygonal frame, or other structures.
In each of the above embodiments, the first brake beam 3 and the second brake beam 5 may include radial flanges 7 that abut against the connection plate 21 and the connection portion 6 at positions of the root portions of the corresponding connection portions 6. The back of the brake seat 4 is C-shaped, so that a part of the brake seat 4 is located on the upper side of the first brake beam 3 or the second brake beam 5, and the other part is located on the lower side of the first brake beam 3 or the second brake beam 5, thereby improving the reliability of connection. The first brake beam 3 and the brake seat 4 may be an integral casting or forging, and the second brake beam 5 and the brake seat 4 may be an integral casting or forging, so as to ensure the overall structural strength.
