Description

Door for a domestic refrigeration device having a snap-on end strip, domestic refrigeration device and method for producing a door
Technical Field
The invention relates to a door for a domestic refrigerator, comprising an outer wall having an upper curved web. Furthermore, the door comprises an end strip independent of the outer wall, said end strip comprising a receiving slot into which the tab is inserted in the assembled state of the door. The invention also relates to a domestic refrigeration device having such a door and to a method for producing a door for a domestic refrigeration device.
Background
Doors consisting of a plurality of components for domestic refrigeration appliances are known. A door is known, for example, from CN 103542674 a1, in which bent tabs of an outer wall are inserted into receiving slots of an end strip, which is separate from the upper part of the outer wall.
However, because such a web of the door is dimensioned to be relatively small, this may lead to insufficient mechanical retention during such insertion.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to provide a door for a domestic refrigerator, wherein the connection between the outer wall of the door and an upper end strip, which is separate from the outer wall, is improved. Accordingly, the invention also provides a domestic refrigeration device having such a door and a method for producing a door for a domestic refrigeration device.
This object is solved by a door, a domestic refrigeration appliance and a method according to the invention.
A door for a domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention comprises an outer wall having an upper curved tab. Furthermore, the door comprises an upper end strip, which is a separate member from the outer wall. This upper end strip has a receiving slot into which the bent tab of the outer wall is inserted in the assembled state of the door. The basic idea of the invention is that the end strip has at least one latching element which is configured adjacent to the receiving slot and latches with the outer wall in the assembled state of the door. By means of this configuration, an improved mechanical connection between the outer wall and the end strip is achieved in the case of a door constructed modularly for this purpose, just in the region of the receiving slot.
Preferably, it is provided that the latching element is designed to be integrated into the end strip. The latching elements are therefore permanently arranged in a position-secure manner and can be latched in a targeted, directed manner and securely. Furthermore, a minimized component of the end strip is also provided by the configuration.
Preferably, the latching elements are formed elastically on the end strips. The detent element can thus be moved relative to the base of the end bar, so that on the one hand it is easy to insert the tab into the receiving slot and on the other hand the detent state can be reliably established. Furthermore, it is also achieved by this elastic design of the latching element that the latching element, which is already in contact with the web in particular, can be deformed to some extent when the web is inserted into the receiving slot, and thus no undesirably strong forces acting on the latching element are generated here.
Preferably, the boundary of the receiving slot is delimited from below by the upper side of the latching element. The upper side of the latching element thus forms a lower boundary wall of the receiving slot. This facilitates the direct adjacent arrangement and also the contact of the latching elements with the webs, and the desired reliable and stable latching is achieved. This in turn enables direct contact between the latching element and the web.
Preferably, at least one rib is formed next to the latching element, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the end strip. The rib has a front side facing the outer wall, which front side is oriented with a first partial surface inclined to the outer wall. In particular, an oblique orientation is formed here on the plate-shaped component on the front side of the outer wall, wherein the webs are then connected to the upper edge of the plate-shaped component and correspondingly bent. The rib and its specific geometry facilitate the insertion of the tab into the receiving slot and facilitate the mobility of the latching element and latching.
Preferably, the rib has a second partial surface on the front side, which extends parallel to the outer wall. In this configuration, it is advantageously achieved that the second partial surface forms a seal to the outer wall in the assembled state, so that an insulating material, for example an insulating foam, cannot undesirably reach the region of the end strip. The foam at the interface between the outer wall and the end strip is prevented from escaping just in the region of the latching element.
Preferably, the second partial surface of the front side of the rib rests directly on the inner side of the outer wall facing the end strip in the assembled state of the door. Hereby is achieved that the mentioned components are stabilized with respect to each other and that the advantageous explanations already mentioned above again contribute to preventing the insulating foam from spilling over the interface between the end strip and the outer wall.
Preferably, the second partial surface, viewed in the height direction of the door, is formed below the first partial surface and extends onto said first partial surface.
In particular, the end strip is configured with at least one integrated cable channel. The cable channel thus primarily protects the cable from being guided through. Preferably, the cable duct is designed as an element which stands downward from the end strip, said element also being designed in a beam-like manner.
In particular, the integrated cable duct also allows for a coarse centering and a coarse guidance during the assembly of the end strip with the outer wall. Since the cable channel is already inserted into the region of the outer wall before the base part of the end strip reaches the tab and thus before the tab is inserted into the receiving slot. This coarse guidance is thereby achieved by the cable channel on the path of the end strip into the end position to a certain extent, so that the insertion of the tabs into the receiving slots then also takes place, so that here no undesired tilting or spreading of the end strip, in particular of the base part, takes place. A sufficiently precise intermediate position is thus also achieved, from which the web is then pushed into the receiving slot and the latching with the latching element is achieved. A very simple and tool-free assembly is also achieved by this embodiment.
The configuration of the end strip can advantageously be provided integrally with all its additional components.
In this case, the latching element can be formed as a latching element, which is arranged on the upper side of the latching element and engages with a latching receptacle of the outer wall, in particular of the web. The latching structure can be, for example, a projection which cooperates with a compatible recess.
However, it is also possible to provide that the webs are not only designed as flat strips, but are themselves bent, so that they are designed in cross section, for example in an L-shape, and by this shape extend away in a bent manner on the front side or front portion of the outer wall. If the web itself is bent or curved, the web is designed, when inserted into the receiving slot, such that it engages behind or snaps back into engagement with the latching element for latching. In this configuration, it is no longer necessary for the latching element itself to also have a latching structure, in particular it is no longer necessary for this latching structure to be formed on the upper side of the latching element.
The invention also relates to a domestic refrigeration device having a door according to the invention or an advantageous configuration of the door.
The invention also relates to a method for producing a door for a domestic refrigeration appliance, wherein an outer wall of the door is connected to an end strip of the door in such a way that an upper bent tab of the outer wall is inserted into a receiving slot of the end strip. The basic idea of the invention is that, when the tab is inserted into the receiving slot, the latching element formed on the end strip adjacent to the receiving slot latches with the outer wall.
An advantageous embodiment of the door according to the invention can be seen as an advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, wherein the mechanical action connection is thereby used for producing the components and thereby connecting the components by means of a corresponding specific configuration of the components of the door.
The directions for the door and the domestic refrigeration appliance describe "in the width direction", "in the height direction", "in the depth direction", "above", "below", "front", "rear", "outside", "inside" and so on, relating to the state of the domestic refrigeration appliance installed for conventional use, the door of the domestic refrigeration appliance being arranged at the front and at the rear for the observer.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a domestic refrigeration device in a perspective, simplified illustration. The domestic refrigerator 1 can have, for example, a refrigerator or freezer or a combination refrigerator and freezer. The domestic refrigerator 1 is designed for storing and storing food. The domestic refrigeration device has a housing 2, in which housing 2 at least one receiving space 3 for food is formed. The door 4 is arranged pivotably on the housing 2, so that the receiving space 3 can be closed from the front or front.
The door 4 is constructed in multiple parts.
Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of the two components separated. The partial view of the door 4 shows an outer wall 5, which is formed, for example, in one piece and is made of sheet metal in particular.
The outer wall 5 has a plate-like base part 6. A bent tab 7 is formed on the upper edge of the base part 6, which bent tab preferably extends over the entire width (extending in the x direction) when the door 4 is closed. Preferably, the tabs 7 are bent at right angles to the base part 6.
As can be seen in the view of fig. 2, the outer wall 5 also comprises, on opposite sides, profiles 8 and 9. The profile parts 8 and 9 have laterally open recesses or recesses 10 and 11, which are designed as handle grooves. This means that the door 4 has no further handle mounted on the front side and thus no additional handle is arranged on the front side or outer side 6a of the base part 6.
Furthermore, the door 4 comprises an upper end strip 12, which is separate from the outer wall 5 and which is in particular preferably made of plastic in one piece. The upper end strip likewise comprises an oblong base part 13. In the exemplary embodiment, the cable ducts 14 and 15 are formed in one piece on the base part 13 at opposite ends, as viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis a of the base part 13. The cable channels 14 and 15 extend vertically downwards.
Furthermore, a receiving slot 16 is formed in the base part 13. In the assembled state, the tab 7 enters the receiving slot 16 and is held therein. The receiving slot 16, which extends over the entire extension along the axis a of the base part 13, is bounded from above by an upper boundary wall 16 a. A lower boundary wall 16b is also provided. The two latching elements 17 and 18 are also formed integrally in the lower boundary wall 16b in the exemplary embodiment. The latching elements 17 and 18 are preferably also designed to be movable, in particular elastic, relative to the base part 13. The outer wall 5, in particular the web 7, is locked to the end strip 12 by the locking elements 17 and 18.
Fig. 3 shows an enlarged detail of the end strip 12 in the region of the detent element 17. As can be seen here, the upper side 17a of the latching element 17 facing the upper delimiting wall 16a forms a subregion of the lower delimiting wall 16 b.
The ribs 19 and 20 are formed integrally adjacent to each other and thus directly connected to the latching elements 17 in the direction of the axis a. The ribs 19 and 20 have front sides 21 and 22, respectively, facing the outer wall 5. As can be seen, however, the front sides 21 and 22 are not completely flat, but rather are bent or curved. For this purpose, the front side 21 comprises a first partial surface 21a, which is arranged obliquely with respect to the inner side 6b (fig. 8) of the base part 6. The second partial surface 21b is configured to be connected downward to the first partial surface 21 a. The second partial surface preferably extends parallel to the inner side 6 b. In the assembled state of the end strip 12 and the outer wall 5, the second partial surface 21b then bears directly against the inner side 6 b. A high degree of tightness is achieved, and the heat-insulating material, in particular foam material, can thereby be prevented from escaping at the interface between the outer wall 5 and the end strip 12.
In a corresponding manner, a further rib 20 is formed, which likewise has partial surfaces 22a and 22b as its front side 22.
Fig. 4 shows the end bar 12 in a further partial view, wherein the cutting line is not shown by the rib 20 but by the detent element 17. The correspondingly hollow, open-back configuration of the latching element 17 is shown.
Starting from the assembled or manufactured state in fig. 2, the end strip 12 is first moved from above in the direction of the outer wall 5, wherein the cable ducts 14 and 15 are then inserted for coarse positioning and thus also for further coarse guidance into corresponding receptacles of the outer wall 5, in particular in the region of the molded parts 8 and 9. For continued assembly, the end strip 12 is then moved further downward according to the view of fig. 6, following the state in fig. 5, until the receiving slot 16 is positioned at the level of the tab 7. The end bar 12 is therefore mounted from above in the view of fig. 5 and thus only engaged on the rear side is it achieved by a certain downward displacement of the end bar 12.
To continue assembly, the tab 7 is inserted into the receiving slot 16 according to the view of fig. 7 showing the fully assembled state. This is achieved in particular in that the end strip 12 is pivoted forward to such an extent that the tabs 7 enter the receiving slots 16. Here, contact between the webs 7 and the latching elements 17 and 18 is then also automatically established, and in the fully inserted state of the webs 7, latching between the latching elements 17 and 18 and the outer wall 5, in particular the webs 7, then also results. In this state, as already mentioned above, the sealing lip then also bears against the inner side 6b in the form of the second partial surfaces 21b and 22b provided in particular. Correspondingly, it is also possible to realize the latching elements 18 with the ribs which are respectively formed adjacent on opposite sides. Reference is made to the configuration according to fig. 3 and 4 for this purpose.
Fig. 8 shows a perspective sectional view along section I of fig. 7, which shows the state of the engagement of the webs 7 and the receiving slots 16 with one another in this connection, as well as the latching. It can also be seen that the front side 17b of the latching element 17 bears against the inner side 6 b. The same applies to the front side of the latching element 18.
Fig. 9 shows a perspective sectional view of a detail of the embodiment from fig. 7, here a sectional view of the cutting rib 20. It can be seen here that the partial surface 22b bears directly against the inner side 6 b.
