Fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of an intelligent cartridge 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 2 shows a logical block diagram of the intelligent cartridge according to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the intelligent medicine box 1 of the present invention includes a medicine box body 2, and the medicine box body 2 is, for example, a rectangular parallelepiped structure, and is composed of a bottom wall, a side wall, and a top wall. One or more medicine bins 3 are arranged on the medicine box body 2. Six medicine bins 3 are arranged on the medicine box body 21 in fig. 1, and are arranged in two rows, three in each row, although the invention is not limited to the number and arrangement mode of the medicine bins 21. The cartridges 3, i.e. bays, are separated from each other by walls and can thus be used for storing different medicines or for different medication schedules.
On each medicine bin 3, a corresponding bin gate 4 is also arranged. The bin gate 4 is movable between a closed position and an open position. Wherein in the closed position, door 4 has closed the opening in medicine storehouse 3 for the user can't get and put the inside medicine in medicine storehouse 3. In the open position, the bin door 4 opens an opening of the drug bin 3 through which a user can access the interior of the drug bin 3 to access the drugs therein. In fig. 1, the door 4 is hinged to the cartridge body 2 at one end and pivotable about the hinge at the other end to change positions between an open position and a closed position. One of the doors 4 is shown in the open position in figure 1, and the other five doors 4 are shown in the closed position.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the door 4 may also be provided at other locations of the cartridge 3, for example at the side of the cartridge 3, and may also be used to close or open the cartridge 3.
In order to keep the door 4 fixed in the closed position, a lock can be arranged on the door 4 and/or the drug chamber 3, so that when the door 4 is in the closed position and the lock is in the locked state, the door 4 is kept firmly closed and the drug chamber 3 cannot be opened unless the lock is unlocked.
The lock can be various types of locks, such as an electronic lock, an electromagnetic adsorption type lock, a bolt type lock, a swing type lock, a screw rotation type lock, a pull rod type lock, a motor type lock and the like. In fig. 1, the lock comprises a first lock part 5 and a second lock part 6. The bin door 4 is provided with a first locking part 5, and the medicine bin 3 is provided with a second locking part 6. When the first locking portion 5 and the second locking portion 6 are engaged and locked together, the door 4 is locked and cannot be opened. In one embodiment, the first latch 5 is, for example, a magnet, and the second latch 6 is, for example, an electromagnet. When the second latch 6 is energized and the first latch 5 engages the second latch 6, the two are firmly attracted together by magnetic force and cannot be opened. When the second latch 6 is de-energized, the magnetic force therebetween disappears, so that the user can open the door 4.
Fig. 2 shows a logical structure diagram of the intelligent medicine cassette 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the intelligent medicine cartridge 1 of the present invention further includes a control unit 7 and a memory 8. The control unit 7 may be a CPU or a PLC, for example, and may execute a certain control logic, a computer program, or the like. The memory 8 stores, for example, control logic, a computer program, a database which may record one or more of the following types of information: user/patient information, medication plan completion status, status of each drug bin, whether associated with a certain medication plan, whether associated with a certain drug, and further drug information may be stored, including but not limited to drug name, manufacturer, drug dosage form, drug specification, etc. The database may be one database, or may include a plurality of sub-databases, each of which stores different contents. For example, one of the databases stores drug bins in association with drugs. Each cartridge may have a unique cartridge number ID and/or name. When one of the cartridges stores a drug, such as aspirin, the association between the cartridge number ID and/or name of the cartridge and the drug aspirin, together with the manufacturer, dosage form, specification, description, etc., is stored in the database for the control unit 7 to read and access. In addition, a separate medication plan database may be provided in which user/patient information, medication plans, medication plan completion states, medicine information, and the like are stored. The control unit 7 may also modify the records in the database. For example, when one of the cartridges is opened and closed once, the control unit 7 will be triggered to modify the completion status of the corresponding medication plan, e.g. from "not completed" to "completed". Further, when receiving an instruction of the user to add a provisional medication plan, the control unit 7 may add a new medication plan in the medication plan database.
The control unit 7 is electrically coupled with the lock of each bin door 4 to control the locking and unlocking of the lock. For example, the control unit 7 is electrically coupled with the first and/or second latch 5 and 6, controls the energization and de-energization of the electromagnet, and thus can individually control the locking and unlocking of each door 4. The control unit 7 may also access databases in the memory 8, such as a database storing associations of drug depots with drugs and a medication schedule database, for example, by performing database retrieval through a drug depot ID, to obtain detailed information of each drug depot, including associated drugs and the like, and/or to query the user's medication schedule information, and based on the information, control the locking and unlocking of the first and/or second locking portions 5, 6 according to certain control logic, algorithms.
Optionally, the intelligent medicine box 1 may further comprise a sensor (not shown) electrically coupled to the control unit for detecting the opening and closing of the door. The intelligent pill box 1 may also comprise an emergency unlocking device (not shown). When the lockset receives an instruction but can not be automatically unlocked, the emergency unlocking device can directly open the lockset corresponding to each bin gate.
In fig. 2 it is shown that both the control unit 7 and the memory 8 are integral parts of the smart cartridge 1. The invention is not limited to the control unit 7 and the memory 8 being physically located on the smart cartridge 1. For example, in the case of a plurality of intelligent medicine boxes 1, a central control unit and a memory may be provided to control the locks of the doors of the plurality of intelligent medicine boxes. In addition, the control unit 7 and/or the memory may be physically remote from the intelligent medicine box 1, for example, on a server, and communicate with a lock of the intelligent medicine box 1 through a computer network, bluetooth, or the like to perform control.
In addition, the smart cartridge 1 also includes one or more user interface interfaces (or input devices) for the user to select a particular cartridge. The user interface is electrically coupled to the control unit 7 for transmitting user option information to the control unit 7. Taking fig. 1 as an example, in the case of a user interface, the user may select one of the drug cartridges nos. 1-6 on the interface, for example, by way of a graphical option, or by way of numeric number entry, or by way of key selection. In the case where a plurality of user interface interfaces are provided, one user interface (or input device) may be provided on each of the doors 4. When the user touches or accesses the user interface, information of the corresponding cartridge, such as the cartridge ID and/or name, is transferred to the control unit, which represents that the user wishes to access the cartridge corresponding to the interface. The user interface may also be software, such as a cell phone APP. The mobile phone transmits the selection information of the user to the control unit 7 of the intelligent medicine box 1 through the network, for example, by means of bluetooth, a local area network, a 4G, 3G, 2G, EDGE network, etc.
A method 100 of filling an intelligent medicine box according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 3.
In step 101, a medicine taking plan set by a user is obtained, wherein the medicine taking plan comprises medicine information and medicine taking time. The medication plan is, for example, an incomplete medication plan. The medicine taking plan set by the user is stored in a medicine taking plan database for the user or the intelligent medicine box to call at any time. The medication plan database may store medication plan data for one or more users including drug information, medication times, completion, and the like. Optionally, the medication plan further includes a medication dose.
In step 102, the dosing time of the dosing schedule is compared to the current time. If the current time is within the preset range before and after the medicine taking time, the medicine taking time is indicated, in step 108, the medicine bin corresponding to the medicine information of the medicine taking plan is inquired, and an unlocking instruction is sent to the lock of the medicine bin, so that the lock of the medicine bin corresponding to the medicine information is automatically unlocked. Also optionally, the medication plan is marked as complete and the data records in the medication plan database are updated after a complete opening and closing operation of the door is detected. The predetermined range may be set by a user, may be determined according to the type of medicine, the request for taking medicine, or the like, or may be determined by a doctor. The front and rear ranges may be the same or different. For example, the dosage may be 30 minutes before or after the administration time, 10 minutes before or after the administration time, or the like.
If the current time is not in the preset range before and after the medicine taking time, the fact that the user does not need to take the medicine at the current time is indicated, and therefore the lock of the corresponding medicine bin does not need to be automatically opened. In this case, if the user still wants to open one of the cartridges, an active unlock request for the particular cartridge must be sent, otherwise the cartridge cannot be opened, thereby avoiding the occurrence of a wrong medication. At step 103, a user selection of a particular drug cartridge is received. At step 104, a user active unlock request for the particular drug cartridge is received, and the user may, for example, select the particular drug cartridge on the user interface and click an "unlock" button, thereby completing steps 103 and 104. Note that: steps 103 and 104 may be separate steps or may be combined and completed in one operation by the user to improve the usability of the system.
Thereafter, the user is given the recommended medication time point and the option of adding a provisional medication plan by a preset method. Specifically, in step 105, the medication plan database is searched to determine whether the user has multiple unfinished medication plans for the particular drug warehouse during the same day (e.g., within 24 hours of the same day), i.e., whether the unfinished medication time point of the drug is unique on the same day. If there is only one incomplete taking plan or one incomplete taking time point, proceed directly to step 107, the unique incomplete taking plan time point is provided to the user for selection by the user, along with the option of adding a provisional taking plan. The user may choose to select this unique point in time or may choose to add a provisional medication plan. After the user selects, proceed to step 108, unlock the lock for that particular cartridge. Otherwise, if there are multiple incomplete medication time points or incomplete medication plans, alternative time points are calculated by an algorithm in step 106, and the alternative time points are provided to the user for selection in step 107, along with an option to add a provisional medication plan, and after receiving confirmation of the user's selection, the process proceeds to step 108 to unlock the lock of the particular pharmacy. When the user selects the option of adding a provisional medication plan, a new medication plan may be added in the medication plan database.
A specific implementation of step 106 is described below.
First, at step 1061, the patient's medication plan is completed for the drug on the day by querying. For example, the information of the medicine (for example, medicine ID), the user information, and one or more of the time period are used as keywords to search in the medication plan database, and an uncompleted medication plan of the current day is obtained.
Next, it is determined whether there are adjacent uncompleted medication schedules both before and after the point in time at which the user issues the "unlock" instruction. If there are adjacent incomplete medication schedules both before and after the point in time when the user issues the "unlock" instruction, as shown at 1063, it indicates that the user's current act of unlocking the drug magazine may correspond to a medication schedule before or after that point in time. In this case, step 1066 gives the two most recent dosing schedule time points before and after the unlocking time point. If there is no unfinished medication plan before or after the point in time when the user issued the "unlock" instruction, as shown at 1062 and 1064, it indicates that the user's current act of unlocking the drug magazine should be a medication plan corresponding to after/before the point in time. In this case, step 106 gives the latest time point before/after the time point at which the taking plan was not completed. After receiving the time points for selection and the option of adding the temporary medicine taking plan, the user selects or confirms one of the time points or selects to add the temporary medicine taking plan. After receiving the user's selection, proceed to step 108, unlock the lock for the particular cartridge.
After unlocking the lock of the particular cartridge, at step 109, it is determined whether the lock is normally unlocked. If not, in step 110, the user is prompted to unlock the lock through the emergency unlocking device, and in step 111, the lock is marked as abnormal, and then the user can open the medicine bin, take medicine and close the medicine bin. If the lock is unlocked properly, the door is automatically unlocked in step 112. Thereafter, at step 113, the user opens the cartridge and closes the cartridge after taking the medication.
After detecting the opening and closing operation of the door of the cartridge, the dose schedule at the dose time or selected time is set to complete in step 115.
