Description

Drawing frame for textile fibre slivers
Technical Field
The invention relates to a drawing apparatus for textile fiber slivers, having a drafting system which is supported on a sliver housing and to which textile fiber slivers can be fed from the rear side of the drawing apparatus, and having a base plate on which two sliver cans can be supported, wherein the sliver housing is arranged at intervals on the base plate by means of struts, and wherein a can changer having a lifting cylinder is arranged at or above the base plate, by means of which can changer a sliver can be transferred from the rear side of the drawing apparatus to a sliver position on the front side.
Background
The drawing apparatus can be used to draw in individual fiber strands from a plurality of cans through a so-called creel arrangement with creels assigned to the cans, lay them side by side, draft them and then join them to form a new, single fiber strand, which preferably has the same cross-sectional dimensions as each of the individual drawn-in fiber strands. For drawing in the slivers, feed-type slivers or driven sliver-carrier drums are used, and individual cans from which the slivers are drawn off can be arranged upstream in order to increase the throughput of the drawing frame.
In order to further increase the efficiency of drawing frames, it is known, for example, to join two drawing frames to form a common drawing frame, which uses components of the individual drawing frames in common. It is thus possible, for example, for the guide frames of two drawing devices to be reduced to a common guide frame arrangement, and peripheral devices, such as, for example, fiber drawing devices or the like, can also be used in common.
A further increase in efficiency is achieved by arranging a greater number of cans upstream of the drawing apparatus. If, for example, 16 cans are arranged upstream, from which the individual fiber slivers are fed to the drawing system of the drawing frame arrangement via the creel arrangement, the filled cans must be replaced in the drawing frame quite frequently until finally the fiber slivers are emptied from the cans provided and a new can has to be provided. Logically, a further increase in the efficiency of the drawing system results from the enlargement of the fillable can.
Due to the structural limitations of the smaller drawing apparatus for receiving the smaller cans and due to the continued use of the existing components of the smaller drawing apparatus, structural measures are required in order to design the drawing apparatus such that larger cans can be filled in the drawing apparatus. In order to economically provide an enlarged drawing apparatus, various factors are considered, in particular, usable raw materials for manufacturing the drawing apparatus. Furthermore, considering aspects such as the transport capacity of individual drawing devices weighing up to about 1.5 tons (t), it is not possible to simply size-scale known drawing devices for filling smaller cans with a diameter of, for example, 1000 millimeters (mm) in order to enlarge the can size of the drawing device.
In order to transfer the full can into the front can position while the full can is being removed from the space between the base plate and the can body, a can changer is used which has a lifting cylinder which is activated for changing the can. The lifting cylinder is in particular a pneumatic cylinder and is usually mounted on or above the floor. The stroke length of the lifting cylinder must be adapted to the displacement path required for the exchange of the cylinder. In this case, the adaptation to the larger can is possible only with an arrangement of the lifting cylinder with an increased stroke length, which disadvantageously results in a double additional overall length of the lifting cylinder in the extended state of the piston rod of the lifting cylinder.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to improve a drawing device for textile fibre slivers, which is designed to receive an enlarged can winding for filling with fibre slivers. In particular, the drawing apparatus should be developed such that as many components as possible of smaller drawing apparatus can be used. Furthermore, the total length of the drawing apparatus is not unnecessarily excessively increased as much as possible.
The invention includes the technical teaching that the lifting cylinder projects over part of its length beyond the rear edge of the base plate, and wherein a holding element is provided on which the rear end of the lifting cylinder is received.
The advantage of the arrangement according to the invention with a lifting cylinder which extends over part of the length of the rear edge of the base plate is essentially that the overall length of the drawing apparatus is not increased by the required structural length of the lifting cylinder. The base plate and thus the coil housing do not have to be adapted to the length of the lifting cylinder, since the lifting cylinder projects in a simple manner over part of its length beyond the rear edge of the base plate and thus beyond the rear edge of the coil housing.
In a drawing apparatus designed for filling can bobbins of 1000mm in diameter, the base plate can be designed to be reduced in size in order to save material and thus expenditure.
In drawing machines designed for filling can bobbins of 1200mm diameter, the lifting cylinder can be designed with a required greater length in order to carry out a can change of a can bobbin of 1200mm diameter. In order to produce a receiving of the lifting cylinder which is as stable as possible and which is mechanically loadable, a holding element is used which is designed in such a way that it can receive the rear end despite the fact that the lifting cylinder has a partial length which projects behind the rear edge of the base plate. The holding element is therefore designed in such a way that the projecting partial length of the lifting cylinder is overcome or offset by the holding element for receiving the lifting cylinder. Logically, the retaining element also protrudes beyond the rear edge of the base plate.
Since the length is not increased by the lifting cylinder, the base plate for producing drawing equipment which is designed for filling can bobbins with a diameter of 1200mm can use standard available sheet materials, whereby costs can likewise be saved.
In an advantageous embodiment of the drawing apparatus, a box for receiving the running means of the drawing apparatus is provided on the rear side, wherein the lifting cylinder extends with its rear end below the box. Here, the box is on the rear side of the can winding case regardless of the total length of the drawing device, and the lift cylinder extends below the box on the rear side of the can winding case, thus not causing an increase in the total length of the drawing device. More precisely, the free installation space below the box of the drawing equipment is used to accommodate the partial length of the lifting cylinder projecting beyond the rear edge of the base plate. As a result, a compact arrangement of the lifting cylinders within the existing total length of the drawing frame is still advantageously achieved, even if the end faces of the lifting cylinders are not exposed individually on one side of the drawing frame.
The holding element is arranged, for example, on the base plate, in order to receive the lifting cylinder on the base plate via the holding element. Alternatively, the holding element can be arranged on the cassette or on a frame for receiving the cassette, or on a strut which extends between the base plate and the coil housing. In order to overcome the additional partial length of the lifting cylinder which projects beyond the rear edge of the base plate, the retaining element advantageously has a first receiving flange section and a second receiving flange section, wherein the first receiving flange section is offset with respect to the second receiving flange section. Between the receiving flange sections, there are joints, so that the receiving flange sections and the joints substantially form an S-shaped cross section of the holding element. In this case, the receiving flange section and the connecting piece can further advantageously be enclosed by means of side walls, so that the retaining element is configured in a stable manner overall and thus mechanically loadable.
The holding element can further advantageously be produced in such a way that the only sheet metal part is used as starting material, which is produced by means of a press bending method. This results in a comparatively simple design of the holding element from a one-piece sheet metal part, and the receiving flange section, the connecting piece and the side walls are formed by a press bending method. In this case, the region receiving the flange section and/or the connecting piece can be welded to the side wall.
It is also advantageous if the base plate of the drawing apparatus, which is designed for filling winding cans having a diameter of 1200mm, has a main plate and side plates, so that the base plate comprises a width B, at which winding cans having a diameter of 1200mm can be received. The holding element is advantageously supported on the side plate, so that the lifting cylinder extends across the area of the side plate. The enlarged can with a diameter of 1200mm is preferably placed on the main plate of the base plate.
The invention further provides a drawing frame having a first drawing frame and a second drawing frame, wherein the drawing frame of the drawing frame is designed to have the features and the associated advantages, as described above in connection with the individual drawing frames according to the invention.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a drawing frame 100 in a perspective view, which is designed as a double-eye drawing frame and comprises two drawing devices 1. Upstream of the two drawing devices 1, a guide frame 27 of a guide frame arrangement is arranged, which guides the textile slivers, not shown in detail, out of the can and feeds them to the drawing devices. The textile fibre slivers are fed into the drafting system 10 of the respective drawing apparatus 1, in which a plurality of fibre slivers (in the illustrated embodiment six fibre slivers from six cans 28 of each drawing apparatus 1) are placed side by side and are drawn into new, unique fibre slivers, for example having the same cross section as the individual fibre slivers from the cans 28. Example six cans 28 are shown for each drawing apparatus and each can 28 preferably has a diameter of 1200 mm.
The drawing apparatus 1 has a basic structure consisting of a can winding housing 11, on which a drafting system 10 is mounted. On the underside, a base plate 12 is present, and the coil housing 11 is connected to the base plate 12 via struts 14. Two can drums 16 are located in the gap formed at the level of the support 14 between the base plate 12 and the can housing 11, wherein the front can drum 16 forms the currently fillable can drum 16 and the can drum 16 arranged behind it forms a further can drum 16 which is transported by the can change system into position on the front side of the first can drum 16 when the front can drum 16 is full.
The rear side of the drawing apparatus 1 is formed by the side from which the fibre sliver is conveyed, and on this side the can 28 is in a sliver guide arrangement with a sliver guide 27. The drawing apparatus 1 accordingly has a box 20 on the rear side, in which operating devices for operating the drawing apparatus 1, such as fiber drawing-off devices, control devices and the like, are accommodated.
Fig. 2 shows a single drawing device in an enlarged view, having a can body 11, on which the drafting system 10 is mounted, and a base plate 12, the can body 11 being arranged at intervals on the base plate 12 by means of a plurality of struts 14. The front can 16, which can be filled at present, is located in the gap between the base plate 12 and the can housing 11, wherein a further can 16, which is not shown to further illustrate the components of the can changer, can be provided in the rear installation position.
The can changer comprises a central element of the lifting cylinder 15, which is connected in a manner not shown in detail to a connecting bridge 29 and a guide rail 30, and upon activation of the lifting cylinder 15 the connecting bridge 29 can be moved by means of the guide rail 30 in the direction of the illustrated arrow toward the winding can 16 in front.
The drawing shows a considerable length of the lifting cylinder 15, with which length the lifting cylinder 15 extends behind the rear edge 17 of the base plate 12. The part of the rear end 19 of the lifting cylinder 15 which projects beyond the rear edge 17 is received by means of the holding element 18 and extends there below the box 20 of the drawing apparatus 1, so that no additional structural length of the entire drawing apparatus 1 results, even if the lifting cylinder 15 projects beyond the rear edge 17 of the base plate 12.
Fig. 3 shows in a perspective view the rear end 19 of the lifting cylinder 15 received by means of the holding element 18. The holding element 18 receives the lifting cylinder 15 via the rear end 19 and is fastened to the base plate 12. The base plate 12 has a main plate 25 and side plates 26, wherein fastening sections of the holding elements 18 to the side plates 26 are provided. Logically, the lift cylinder 15 also extends above the side plate 26 of the base plate 12 so that the can stands on the main plate 25 of the base plate 12. A cassette 20 is received beside the column 14 on the upper side of the rear end 19 of the lifting cylinder 15, and the cassette 20 has a depth which is greater than the partial length of the lifting cylinder 15, with which the lifting cylinder projects beyond the rear edge 17 of the base plate 12.
Fig. 4 shows a perspective view of the holding element 18, which has a receiving flange section 21 for receiving the rear end 19 of the lifting cylinder 15, and the holding element 18 has a further receiving flange section 22, with which the holding element 18 can be arranged on the rear edge 17 of the base plate 12. A joint 23 is present between the two receiving flange sections 21 and 22, and the cross section of the two receiving flange sections 21 and 22 and the joint 23 forms an S shape. The side walls 24 form a crank-arm-shaped flange connection on the side of the receiving flange sections 21 and 22 and the connecting piece 23, so that the retaining element 18 as a whole is of reinforced design. In a manner not shown in detail, welded connections can be provided in the region between the side wall 24 and the receiving flange section 21 and/or 22 and the connecting piece 23.
The invention is not limited in its implementation to the preferred embodiments given above. Rather, variants are conceivable which also use the solution in fundamentally different types of embodiments. All features and/or advantages, including structural details or spatial arrangements, which are derived from the claims, the description or the drawings, are essential to the invention both in themselves and in various combinations.
