In fig. 6, the foldable display device 1 is folded at the second folding position, and the edge portions of the two ends of the flexible display screen 11 are bent toward the middle portion, and after the folding, the display surfaces 111 of the edge portions are opposite to the display surface 111 of the middle portion.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 5 to 6, when the foldable display device 1 is folded, the display surface 111 is completely exposed from the supporting body 12, and the folded state is referred to as a second folded state, in which the display surface 111 is defined into a plurality of portions by the folded position, at least one of the portions can be used for displaying to meet the reading and learning requirements of the user.
With continued reference to fig. 7, fig. 7 shows a schematic view of yet another embodiment of a foldable display device in a folded state.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 7, the foldable display device 1 is folded at the first folding position and the second folding position respectively, after the folding, a part of the display surface 111 is wrapped in the supporting body 12, and the rest is exposed outside the supporting body 12, the folding state is referred to as a third folding state, and in the third folding state, a part of the display surface 111 exposed outside the supporting body 12 can be used for displaying, which can also meet the use requirements of the user for reading and learning.
As can be seen from the above description, the foldable display device 1 provided in the present application has a plurality of folding states, i.e., a first folding state, a second folding state, and a third folding state, in the above three folding states, different requirements of a user can be met, specifically, in the first folding state, the display surface 111 can be prevented from being damaged, and the display surface 111 can be well protected; under second folded state and third folded state, both satisfied user's user demand, reduced collapsible display device 1's volume again, made things convenient for collapsible display device 1 to carry.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1-7, the support body 12 is a one-piece structure, wherein the first surface 121 and the second surface 122 are two surfaces of the support body 12 that are oppositely disposed along the thickness direction of the flexible display 11. It should be noted, however, that the support body 12 is not limited to that shown in fig. 1-7, and that in other embodiments, the support body 12 may have other alternatives.
Referring to fig. 8, fig. 8 is a schematic view of another embodiment of the support body.
Optionally, the support body 12 includes a first portion 12a and a second portion 12b, and the flexible display 11 is sandwiched between the first portion 12a and the second portion 12b, in this embodiment, the first surface 121 is a side surface of the first portion 12a away from the second portion 12b, and the second surface 122 is a side surface of the second portion 12b away from the first portion 12 a.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 8, the supporting body 12 is a split structure, the flexible display 11 is located between the first portion 12a and the second portion 12b, in the folded state, the flexible display 11 is in a neutral plane, the flexible display 11 deforms relatively less under the action of the folding force, and the length of the flexible display 11 is less affected by the change of the state of the flexible display, so that the damage of the flexible display 11 in the frequent switching process of unfolding and folding can be reduced, and the service life of the flexible display 11 can be prolonged.
It is understood that the first portion 12a can be connected to the display surface 111 and the second portion 12b can be connected to the non-display surface 112, or vice versa. Here, taking the example that the first portion 12a is attached to the display surface 111, in the present embodiment, in order not to affect the display effect of the display surface 111, the first portion 12a is disposed along the edge of the flexible display 11. In one embodiment, the first portion 12a may have a through hole, through which the display area of the display surface 111 is exposed, so as to avoid shielding the display area and affecting the display effect; on the other hand, since the second portion 12b is attached to the non-display surface 112, the specific structure of the second portion 12b may not be limited.
Referring to fig. 9, fig. 9 is a schematic view showing the supporting body as a frame. Specifically, the support body 12 is integrally provided as a frame body extending along the edge of the flexible display screen 11, and includes a first frame 123 and a second frame 124 which are parallel to each other, in this case, a plurality of first folding positions may be provided on both the first frame 123 and the second frame 124, and each first folding position located on the first frame 123 may be directly opposite to each first folding position located on the second frame 124. After the arrangement, the flexible display screen 11 can be folded at two opposite first folding positions, so that on one hand, the folding position of the flexible display screen 11 can be well controlled, and the deviation of the folding position cannot occur at one side where the first folding position is not arranged; on the other hand, the folding degree of the flexible display screen 11 can be easily controlled, and the folding difficulty of the flexible display screen 11 can be reduced.
It should be noted that, a plurality of second folding positions may be provided on both the first frame 123 and the second frame 124, and the same arrangement is provided for each second folding position on the first frame 123 and each second folding position on the second frame 124. In this scheme, the setting manner of the second folding position is the same as that of the first folding position, and the technical effects are the same, which are not described herein again.
It should be noted that, in the solution that the supporting main body 12 is a split structure, the first portion 12a and the second portion 12b may be both provided as a frame, wherein the first portion 12a is attached at the edge of the display surface 111, and the second portion 12b is attached at the edge of the non-display surface 112.
In addition, the present application does not limit the area where the first folding position and the second folding position are located on the supporting body 12, that is, the positions of the first folding position and the second folding position on the supporting body 12 can be selected according to the requirement.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 9, the first folding position and the second folding position are opposite to each other in the thickness direction of the flexible display 11, that is, the position of each first groove 121a is opposite to the position of each second groove 122a in the thickness direction of the flexible display 11, so that the foldable display device 1 can be folded at a fixed position, and the damage to the flexible display 11 caused by the user selecting the folding position at will can be avoided.
It is easily understood that the first folding position and the second folding position on the support main 12 are not limited to the case shown in fig. 9, and further, the first bezel 123 and the second bezel 124 may be respectively provided with more first folding positions and second folding positions according to the folding manner of the foldable display device 1.
Referring to fig. 10, fig. 10 is a schematic diagram illustrating a first surface with a first groove and a second surface with a second groove.
Alternatively, the first groove 121a may be disposed to cover the first surface 121, or the second groove 122a may cover the second surface 122, in which case, the foldable display device 1 may be folded at any position of the support body 12, so as to improve the flexibility of the foldable display device 1 when being folded.
In the above embodiments, the shapes of the first grooves 121a and the second grooves 122a may be selected according to actual situations, the plurality of first grooves 121a at least include one of a trapezoid groove and a triangle groove, and/or the plurality of second grooves 122a at least include one of a trapezoid groove and a triangle groove.
Referring to fig. 10, for example, the first groove 121a and the second groove 122a may be both trapezoidal grooves, and the bottom of the trapezoidal groove is a plane, so that the deformation space is large and the deformation amount is large when the groove is folded.
Referring to fig. 11, fig. 11 shows a schematic diagram of the first and second grooves being triangular grooves.
Optionally, the first groove 121a and the second groove 122a may also be both triangular grooves, and the bottom of the triangular groove is a ridge, so that under the action of the folding force, the deformation amount of the triangular groove is relatively small, thereby preventing the flexible display 11 from generating large deflection deformation when folded, and avoiding dead fold after folded.
In other embodiments, the first grooves 121a may be trapezoidal grooves, and the second grooves 122a may be triangular grooves, or vice versa.
In this application, in order to maintain the foldable display device 1 in the folded state, the foldable display device 1 further includes a locking mechanism 13, and the locking mechanism 13 can ensure that the folded foldable display device 1 does not unfold by itself.
Referring to fig. 4, the locking mechanism 13 includes a first magnetic part 131 and a second magnetic part 132 disposed on the supporting body 12, and in the folded state, the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 are close to each other and attract each other to maintain the folded state.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 4, the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 are respectively disposed at two ends of the supporting body 12, and in the folded state, the first magnetic part 131 is abutted with the second magnetic part 132, specifically, the first magnetic part 131 has a first attraction surface 131a, the second magnetic part 132 has a second attraction surface 132a, and the first attraction surface 131a and the second attraction surface 132a are directly opposite to each other and abutted with each other. In this embodiment, the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 are closely attached without a gap therebetween, thereby improving the stability of the folded state.
Referring to fig. 12, fig. 12 shows a schematic view of another embodiment of the locking mechanism.
For the supporting body 12 with the split structure, the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 may respectively include two parts, and are respectively disposed on the first part 12a and the second part 12b, and when the foldable display device 1 is folded, the first magnetic parts 131 and the second magnetic parts 132 are attracted one by one.
Referring to fig. 13, fig. 13 is a schematic diagram showing the first suction surface and the second suction surface being inclined surfaces. Further, in order to increase the attraction area of the two magnetic portions, the first attraction surface 131a and the second attraction surface 132a may be both provided as inclined surfaces, and the inclined surfaces may be arranged in parallel.
The inclined surface has a larger area relative to the vertical surface, and according to the theory that the attraction force is in direct proportion to the attraction area, the attraction force can be increased by increasing the area of the attraction surface, so that the attraction reliability is improved, and the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 cannot be easily separated. Fig. 14 shows a schematic view of the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 in a state of being attracted.
Referring to fig. 15, fig. 15 is a schematic view illustrating the first magnetic part and the second magnetic part being overlapped with each other in a suction state. The first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 may also overlap with each other, that is, after the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 are attracted, the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 are overlapped.
Referring to fig. 16, fig. 16 is a schematic diagram illustrating another embodiment in which the first magnetic part and the second magnetic part are overlapped with each other in a suction state.
It should be noted that the number of the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 can also be selected according to different folding manners of the foldable display device 1, for example, in the embodiment shown in fig. 4, the number of the first magnetic part 131 and the number of the second magnetic part 132 are respectively set to one; for another example, in the embodiment shown in fig. 8, two first magnetic parts 131 and two second magnetic parts 132 are provided; in other embodiments, the number of the first magnetic part 131 and the second magnetic part 132 may be more, which is not limited in this application.
On the other hand, the foldable display device 1 provided by the present application further comprises a winding mechanism 14, please refer to fig. 1, wherein one end of the winding mechanism 14 is connected to the supporting body 12, and the other end is connected to the flexible display 11, and the winding mechanism 14 is used for adjusting the length of the flexible display 11 when being unfolded and folded, so as to keep the display surface 111 thereof flat and without wrinkles.
Specifically, the winding mechanism 14 has a winding stroke and an unwinding stroke, and in a folded state, the folding force generates tensile stress on the flexible display screen 11, at this time, the length of the flexible display screen 11 is increased, and accordingly, the winding mechanism 14 needs to generate the unwinding stroke; on the contrary, in the unfolded state, the flexible display screen 11 returns to the original length, and at this time, the winding mechanism 14 generates a winding stroke to recover the flexible display screen 11, so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting the lengths of the display surface 111 in the folded state and the unfolded state, respectively.
