Abstract
The invention provides a curling type flexible display device, which solves the technical problem that the curling type flexible display device in the prior art is short in service life. According to the curling type flexible display device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the length of the polaroid in the flexible display screen body is larger than that of the substrate, so that the part, which is more than the flexible display substrate, in the polaroid can be bonded and fixed on the curling device, compared with the situation that a non-display area (the area of the non-display area is small) of the flexible display screen body is fixed in the curling device in the prior art, the bonding area of the flexible display screen body and the curling device is increased, and after the flexible display screen body is drawn and pulled for multiple times, the flexible display screen body is still bonded and fixed on the curling device, so that the service life of the curling type flexible display device is prolonged.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a curling type flexible display device.
Background
With the expansion of the application field of the flexible display screen, the flexible screen curled terminal gradually enters the field of vision of the public, and the curled flexible screen can meet the requirement of a user on pursuing large screen, large field of vision and portability to a greater extent. However, the lifetime of the rolled flexible display screen decreases as the number of times of rolling increases, so that the lifetime of the rolled flexible display screen is short.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of this, embodiments of the present invention provide a scrolling flexible display device, which solves the technical problem of short service life of the scrolling flexible display device in the prior art.

According to an aspect of the present invention, an embodiment of the present invention provides a roll-up flexible display device, including: a flexible display screen body, the flexible display screen body comprising: the flexible display screen comprises a substrate, a display layer and a polarizer, wherein the display layer and the polarizer are sequentially arranged on one side of the substrate in an overlapping mode, the polarizer comprises a first light polarizing region and a second light polarizing region which are sequentially arranged in the extending direction of the flexible display screen body, and the extending length of the second light polarizing region is larger than that of the substrate; and the curling device is used for curling the flexible display screen body.
In an embodiment of the invention, in a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the flexible display screen body, the length of the polarizer is greater than the length of the substrate.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the scrolling flexible display device further includes: the flexible circuit board is bonded on the flexible display screen body; and a housing comprising a chamber and an opening through which the chamber communicates with the outside; wherein the flexible circuit board is disposed within the chamber; the flexible display screen body is bonded with the flexible circuit board in the cavity through the opening.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the scrolling flexible display device further includes: the supporting sheet is fixed on one side, far away from the polaroid, of the substrate and is used for supporting the flexible display screen body and the bonding area of the flexible circuit board.

Detailed Description
As described in the background art, the lifetime of the flexible display device is decreased with the increase of the number of times of curling in the prior art, and thus the lifetime of the flexible display device is decreased, and the inventors have found that the problem occurs because the non-display area at one end of the flexible display screen body in the flexible display device is adhered and fixed on the curling shaft, but the area of the non-display area of the flexible display screen is smaller, so that the adhered and fixed area of the flexible display screen body and the curling shaft is smaller, and when the flexible display screen is drawn for multiple times, the flexible display screen body is easily loosened from the curling shaft, thereby decreasing the service life of the flexible display device.
Based on this, the invention provides a curled flexible display device, the length of the polarizer in the flexible display screen body is larger than that of the substrate, so that the part, which is more than the substrate, in the polarizer can be bonded and fixed on the curled device, compared with the prior art that the non-display area (the area of the non-display area) of the flexible display screen body is fixed in the curled device, the bonding area of the flexible display screen body and the curled device is increased, and after the flexible display screen body is drawn and pulled for many times, the flexible display screen body is still bonded and fixed on the curled device, so that the service life of the curled flexible display device is prolonged.
Specifically, the present invention provides a scrolling flexible display device, comprising: the flexible display screen comprises a flexible display screen body, a display layer and a polarizer, wherein the display layer and the polarizer are sequentially arranged on one side of a substrate in an overlapping mode, the polarizer comprises a first polarizing area and a second polarizing area which are sequentially arranged in the extending direction of the flexible display screen body, and the extending length of the second polarizing area is larger than that of the substrate; and the curling device is used for curling the flexible display screen body.
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
In the description of the invention, it should be understood that the extending direction of the flexible display screen body refers to: when the curled flexible display screen body is in a quality state after being unfolded under the action of tensile force, the extending direction of the flexible display screen body is the direction of the long side. The orientations and positional relationships shown in the drawings are for convenience in describing the invention and for simplicity in description, and do not indicate or imply that the positions referred to must have a particular orientation, be constructed in a particular orientation, and therefore should not be construed as limiting the invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a rolled flexible display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 2 is a front view of a flexible display screen body in the rolled flexible display device according to the embodiment of the present invention in a straightened state; referring to fig. 1 and 2, a scrolling flexible display device includes: the flexible display screen comprises a flexible display screen body 1, wherein the flexible display screen body 1 comprises a substrate 11, a display layer 12 and a polarizer 13, the display layer 12 and the polarizer 13 are sequentially arranged on one side of the substrate 11 in an overlapping manner, the polarizer 13 comprises a first polarizing region 131 and a second polarizing region 132 which are sequentially arranged in the extending direction of the flexible display screen body 1, and the extending length of the second polarizing region 132 is greater than that of the substrate 11; the flexible circuit board 2 is bonded on the flexible display screen body 1; and a curling device 3, the first light bias area 131 is fixed in the curling device 3, and the curling device 3 is used for curling the flexible display screen body 1. In the embodiment of the present invention, since the polarizer 13 includes the first polarizing region 131 and the second polarizing region 132, wherein the extension length of the second polarizing region 132 is greater than the extension length of the substrate 11, that is, there is no substrate 11 below the first polarizing region 131, when one end of the flexible display panel 1 is bonded to the curling device 3, only the first polarizing region 131 in the polarizer 13 needs to be bonded to the curling device 3, compared with the prior art in which a non-display region (the non-display region has a small area) of the flexible display panel 1 is fixed in the curling device 3, the bonding area between the flexible display panel 1 and the curling device 3 is increased, and after the flexible display panel 1 is pulled and pulled for multiple times, the flexible display panel 1 is still bonded and fixed to the curling device 3, so that the service life of the curling-type flexible display device is prolonged.
In an embodiment of the present invention, fig. 3 is a left side view of a flexible display panel body in a rolled flexible display device in an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, in an extending direction perpendicular to the flexible display panel body 1, a length of the polarizer 13 is greater than a length of the substrate 11, and when the flexible display panel body 1 is in the extending direction perpendicular to the flexible display panel body 1 from the stretched state to the rolled state or from the rolled state to the stretched state, a portion of the polarizer 13 that is greater than the substrate 11 in the polarizer 13 may protect the flexible display panel body from being damaged by non-uniform tension in the extending direction perpendicular to the flexible display panel body 1.
In an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, the flexible display device further includes a housing 4, the housing includes a cavity and an opening, the cavity is communicated with the outside through the opening; wherein the flexible circuit board 2 is arranged in the cavity; the flexible display screen body 1 is bonded with the flexible circuit board 2 in the cavity through the opening. The flexible circuit board 2 is arranged in the cavity of the shell, so that the flexible circuit board 2 cannot be curled or stretched in the process of curling or stretching the flexible display screen body 1, and electronic components on the flexible circuit board 2 are effectively protected.
When the flexible display screen body 1 is bonded to the flexible circuit board 2, if the entire flexible circuit board 2 is disposed in the cavity of the housing, in order to bond the flexible display screen body 1 to the flexible circuit board 2, therefore, either the non-display area of the flexible display 1 needs to be large, or part of the display area of the flexible display 1 needs to be extended into the cavity of the housing, so that in order to make the non-display area of the flexible display 1 small, and the display area is not extended into the cavity of the housing, it can also be ensured that the flexible circuit board 2 is not curled, in a further embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 5, the rollable flexible display device further comprises a support sheet 5, the support sheet 5 is fixed on one side of the flexible display screen body 1 away from the polarizer 13, and the support sheet 5 is used for supporting the bonding area between the flexible display screen body 1 and the flexible circuit board 2. When the flexible display screen body 1 curls, when curling to backing sheet 5, stop curling promptly to can protect the bonding district of flexible circuit board 2 and the flexible display screen body 1 not curled, thereby can guarantee the flexible display screen body 1 normal demonstration when curling.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the supporting sheet 5 is fixed on a side of the flexible display panel 1 away from the polarizer 13 by bonding, and the supporting sheet 5 is used for supporting the bonding area of the flexible display panel 1 and the flexible circuit board 2.
In an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the curling device 3 includes: a winding shaft 31; a catching groove 32 provided on the curling shaft 31, the first light deflecting area 121 being fixed on a first sidewall 321 of the catching groove 32; and the fixing piece 33, the fixing piece 33 is detachably fixed in the gap 323 between the first light deflecting area 121 and the second side wall 322 of the card slot 32. In the embodiment of the present invention, the first light deflecting area 121 is bonded and fixed in the card slot 32, and the fixing element 33 is detachably fixed in the gap 323 between the first light deflecting area 121 and the second side wall 322 of the card slot 32, so that the first light deflecting area 121 is more firmly fixed in the card slot 32, and after the flexible display screen body 1 is pulled and pulled for multiple times, the flexible display screen body 1 is still bonded and fixed on the curling device 3, thereby prolonging the service life of the curling type flexible display device.
In a further embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 7, the first side wall 321 of the slot 32 is in the shape of a first arc, and when the flexible display panel 1 is curled after one end of the flexible display panel 1 is bonded and fixed in the slot 32, the first side wall 321 is in the shape of an arc, so that the flexible display panel 1 is smooth when curled, and the flexible display panel 1 is not damaged by a hard edge.
It should be understood that, since the first light-deflecting area 131 is adhesively fixed on the first sidewall 321 of the card slot 32, the radius of the first sidewall 321 with the first arc shape is larger than the minimum bending radius of the polarizer 13 layer, so that the first light-deflecting area 131 is not broken by bending, thereby improving the service life of the scrolling flexible display device.
In an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6, the fixing member 33 includes: a filling portion 331 for extending into a gap 323 between the first light deflecting area 131 and the second sidewall 322 of the card slot 32; and a sealing part 332 fixedly connected to the filling part 331. According to the embodiment of the invention, the fixing member 33 is fixed in the gap 323 between the first light-polarizing region 131 and the second side wall 322 of the card slot 32 through the filling portion 331 and the sealing portion 332 without any mechanical structure or by other detachable fixing methods, so that the first light-polarizing region 131 is more firmly fixed in the card slot 32, and after the flexible display screen body 1 is drawn and pulled for many times, the flexible display screen body 1 is still bonded and fixed on the curling device 3, thereby prolonging the service life of the curling type flexible display device.
In a further embodiment of the present invention, the sealing portion 332 has a second arc shape. After the fixing element 33 is fixed in the gap 323 between the first light deflecting area 131 and the second sidewall 322 of the card slot 32, the sealing portion 332 is arc-shaped, so the flexible display panel 1 is not damaged by hard edges.
Preferably, after the fixing element 33 is fixed in the gap between the first light deflecting area 131 and the second side wall 322 of the card slot 32, as shown in fig. 8, the radius and the center of the second arc of the sealing portion 332 are the same as the radius and the center of the winding shaft 31, that is, the sealing portion 332 is circular after being matched with the winding shaft 31, so as to further protect the flexible display screen body 1 from being damaged due to a hard corner.

Claims (8)
1. A scrolling flexible display device, comprising:
a flexible display screen body, the flexible display screen body comprising: the flexible display screen comprises a substrate, a display layer and a polarizer, wherein the display layer and the polarizer are sequentially arranged on one side of the substrate in an overlapping mode, the polarizer comprises a first light deflection area and a second light deflection area which are sequentially arranged in the extending direction of the flexible display screen body, the second light deflection area is an area, opposite to the substrate, of the polarizer, and the first light deflection area is an area, protruding out of the substrate, of the polarizer in the extending direction of the flexible display screen body; and the number of the first and second groups,
the curling device comprises a curling shaft, the first polarizing area is fixedly bonded on the curling shaft, and the curling shaft is used for curling the flexible display screen body;
a slot disposed on said crimp shaft;
the first polarized light region is fixedly bonded on the first side wall of the clamping groove; and (c) a second step of,
the fixing piece is fixed in a gap between the first light-deflecting area and the second side wall of the clamping groove;
the fixing member includes:

2. The display device according to claim 1, wherein a length of the polarizer is longer than a length of the substrate in a direction perpendicular to an extending direction of the flexible display panel body.
3. The display device according to claim 1, further comprising:
the flexible circuit board is bonded on the flexible display screen body; and the number of the first and second groups,
a housing including a chamber and an opening through which the chamber communicates with the outside;
wherein the flexible circuit board is disposed within the chamber;
the flexible display screen body is bonded with the flexible circuit board in the cavity through the opening.
4. The display device according to claim 3, further comprising:
the supporting sheet is fixed on one side of the substrate, which is far away from the polaroid, and is used for supporting the flexible display screen body and the bonding area of the flexible circuit board.
5. The display device according to claim 4, wherein the support sheet is adhesively fixed to a side of the substrate away from the polarizer.
6. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the fixing member is detachably fixed in a gap between the first light deflecting area and the second sidewall of the card slot.
7. The display device according to claim 6, wherein the first side wall of the card slot has a first arc shape.
8. The display device according to claim 1, wherein a radius and a center of the second arc of the sealing portion are the same as a radius and a center of the winding shaft when the fixing member is fixed in the gap between the first light deflecting area and the second sidewall of the slot.
