背景技术

膜的总厚度可减小为优选小于250μm,并且优选小于220μm。PET层可涂覆有本领域已知的防眩光、耐划或自愈涂层以便增强屏幕保护件的性能。如上所述,应该在确定膜的总厚度时考虑任何这样的涂层。
粘力优选大于6g/cm2,更优选大于7g/cm2
所述屏幕保护件可包括在TPU层和粘合剂之间的另一PET层。
所述屏幕保护件优选在可移除地附接至平坦层压膜的任一侧的一对释放层之间提供给用户。在将保护件施加到装置之前第一释放层能够被移除以暴露粘合剂层,而一旦保护件被施加到装置以在运输和安装期间保护该装置,第二释放层就能够被移除。由于膜是平坦的,所以两个释放层可都为平坦的,同样使得制造成本最小化。
本发明还扩展至一种施加根据本发明的第一方面的屏幕保护件的方法,该方法包括以下步骤:将层压膜放到装置的屏幕上以使粘合剂层与屏幕接触;以及使膜的边缘在屏幕的边缘上弯曲并且将膜的边缘粘附在适当位置(in place)。
本发明还扩展至一种具有沿其纵向边缘弯曲的触摸屏幕的移动电子装置与粘附到包括弯曲的区域的触摸屏幕的根据本发明的第一方面的屏幕保护件组合的组合件。

具体实施方式
图1示出申请人目前作为抗冲击(Impact Shield)屏幕保护件销售的屏幕保护件。该屏幕保护件是三个主要层的层压件,即,100μm厚的PET上层、150μm厚的中央TPU层(称作BulletShield(RTM))以及30μm厚的硅粘合剂底层。该粘合剂具有1.5g/cm2(10g/inch2)的粘力。PET和TPU层利用粘合剂来粘结。对PET的顶部施加可选的防眩光、抗划和自愈涂层。屏幕保护件的总厚度为280μm。
图2示出根据本发明的屏幕保护件的对应示图。该屏幕保护件使用相同的TPU层,但是PET层减小至其原始厚度的25%,使得它如今为25μm厚。使用相同厚度的粘合剂,但是已经用具有9.3g/cm2(60g/inch2)的粘力的强得多的粘合剂代替。屏幕保护件利用与以前相同的技术来制造,只是使用了厚度减小的PET和不同的粘合剂。这意味着可通过从层压材料片材切割来快速地和低廉地制造屏幕保护件。因此不需要片材的后续成形。
如前所述,屏幕保护件在PET和TPU层以及许多先前所述的涂层之间可具有粘合剂。
如图4所示,屏幕保护件5被夹在两个释放层9和10之间来提供给用户,两个释放层9和10均具有传统构造。下面的层9粘附到粘合剂层8,用户在将保护件施加到移动电子装置D之前首先移除该层9,如图3A所示。上面的释放层设置有一对突出件11,释放层的两侧各一个,其使得用户能够操纵屏幕保护件以便于准确地置于装置的屏幕上。
在施加之前,可用水和清洁剂或者用酒精来清洁屏幕,以去除屏幕的污渍和油脂。
屏幕保护件5最初被平放于装置D的屏幕上,此时可进行刮擦以便去除任何气泡。另选地,这可稍后进行。然后在图3B所示的位置将屏幕保护件的两侧边缘按压到屏幕S的弯曲边缘E上。同样,在这一阶段可推挤出气泡。从图1和图2的比较,边缘附近的PET层生成“剥离”的程度极大地减小。这是因为PET相对刚性。与较薄的层相比,较厚的层在弯曲离开中性面时将生成更高的恢复力。
从图3B将理解,本发明提供了在最需要的区域中在屏幕保护件5和屏幕S之间提供强粘结的强粘合剂层。从图3B将理解,拇指或手指围绕装置的边缘的动作往往会导致屏幕保护件的边缘剥离,本发明的屏幕保护件可强有力地抵抗这种剥离。

Claims (12)

1.一种用于具有触摸屏幕的移动电子装置的屏幕保护件,该屏幕保护件包括平坦层压膜,该平坦层压膜包括粘结到热塑性聚氨酯TPU层的一面的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯PET层以及在所述TPU层的相反侧的粘合剂层;其中,所述PET层小于50μm厚,并且其中,所述粘合剂层提供大于5g/cm2的粘力。
2.根据权利要求1所述的屏幕保护件,其中,所述PET层小于40μm厚。
3.根据权利要求1或权利要求2所述的屏幕保护件,其中,所述PET层小于所述TPU层的厚度的一半。
4.根据权利要求2所述的屏幕保护件,其中,所述PET层小于所述TPU层的厚度的三分之一。
5.根据任何前述权利要求所述的屏幕保护件,其中,所述PET层小于所述粘合剂层的厚度的两倍,优选小于所述粘合剂层的厚度的1.5倍,最优选小于所述粘合剂层的厚度。
6.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的屏幕保护件,其中,所述TPU的厚度大于总膜厚度的三分之二。
7.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的屏幕保护件,其中,膜厚度小于250μm,优选小于220μm。
8.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的屏幕保护件,其中,所述粘力大于6g/cm2,更优选大于7g/cm2
9.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的屏幕保护件,该屏幕保护件还包括位于所述TPU层和所述粘合剂之间的第二PET层。
10.一种根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的屏幕保护件、第一释放层以及第二释放层的组合件,在将所述保护件施加到装置之前所述第一释放层能够被移除以暴露所述粘合剂层,一旦所述保护件被施加到所述装置以在运输和安装期间保护所述装置,所述第二释放层就能够被移除以暴露所述屏幕保护件的上表面。
11.一种施加根据权利要求1至9中的任一项所述的屏幕保护件的方法,该方法包括以下步骤:将所述层压膜放到所述装置的所述屏幕上以使所述粘合剂层与所述屏幕接触;以及使所述膜的边缘在所述屏幕的边缘上弯曲并且将所述膜的边缘粘附在适当位置。
12.一种具有触摸屏幕的移动电子装置与根据权利要求1至9中的任一项所述的屏幕保护件的组合件,其中,所述触摸屏幕沿所述触摸屏幕的纵向边缘是弯曲的,所述屏幕保护件粘附到包括弯曲的边缘的所述触摸屏幕。
