Abstract

本发明公开了一种寻呼方法、寻呼设备、核心网设备、基站和寻呼系统,包括:核心网设备向寻呼区内的至少一个基站发送寻呼消息,寻呼消息中包含被核心网设备寻呼的UE的标识;并接收至少一个基站发送的响应消息,每一个响应消息中包含发送该响应消息的基站根据UE的标识确定的与UE的寻呼时刻相关联的时间信息,寻呼时刻为UE接收寻呼消息的时刻;根据每一个响应消息中包含的时间信息,确定寻呼定时器的定时时长,并启动寻呼定时器,核心网设备能够准确获取与UE的寻呼时刻相关联的时间信息,使核心网能够合理配置寻呼定时器的定时时长,有效地保证在寻呼定时器超时之前寻呼消息能够发送给UE,避免核心网设备重复发送寻呼消息,节省了空口资源。
