Abstract

An inner liner for receiving a transport cargo, in particular a fluid, for arrangement in an inner container of a pallet container, wherein the inner liner comprises a thin-walled, flexible film (1) for receiving the transport cargo, an adapter (2) for placing the film (1) in an opening (13) in a container wall of an inner container (14) of the pallet container, and a fitting (3) for removing the transport cargo, wherein the film (1), the adapter (2) and the fitting (3) form a prefabricated composite part, and wherein a region enclosed by the film (1), the adapter (2) and the fitting (3) is hermetically closed from the surroundings.

Technical Field
The invention relates to a pallet container comprising a dimensionally stable inner container which is accommodated in a grid or sheet metal shell in a manner standing on a pallet, and to an inner liner for accommodating a transport cargo, in particular a fluid, which is intended to be arranged in the inner container of the pallet container, wherein the inner liner substantially comprises a thin-walled, flexible film in which the transport cargo is accommodated.
Background
Such pallet containers are known in the prior art, for example, so-called Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC).
It is also known to arrange a thin-walled, flexible and substantially tubular film of an inner liner within the inner container of the tray container, wherein the inner liner is provided as a hermetically sealed, optionally additionally sterilized by germicidal irradiation, substantially tubular film, and wherein the film is arranged within the inner container of the tray container.
It proves to be difficult to install a hermetically sealed inner liner in a simple manner without affecting the gas tightness when introducing the film of the inner liner containing the transport goods into the inner container of the pallet container.
Disclosure of Invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide an inner liner for a tray container or a tray container with an inner liner, wherein the inner liner can be mounted simply and without affecting the gas tightness of the volume enclosed by the membrane of the inner liner.
This object is achieved according to the invention by an inner liner according to an embodiment of the invention, wherein the inner liner comprises a thin-walled, flexible film, an adapter for coupling the film to an opening in a container wall of an inner container of a tray container and a fitting for removing a transport cargo, wherein the film, the adapter and the fitting constitute a prefabricated composite, and wherein a region enclosed by the film, the adapter and the fitting is hermetically closed with respect to the surroundings.
The adapter designed according to the invention connects the membrane to the fitting and additionally offers the following possibilities: the composite of film, adapter and fitting is installed as a prefabricated, gas-tight structural unit in the opening of the container wall of the inner container of the pallet container and can be removed again if necessary.
In addition, the object is achieved according to the invention with a liner for a pallet container, in that an adapter piece of the liner is fastened to an opening in a wall of the dimensionally stable inner container.
Preferably, the design for the liner is: the adapter is designed as a substantially rotationally symmetrical molded part, in particular a plastic molded part.
Preferably, the adapter is designed for the inner liner: the adapter is designed as a substantially pot-shaped component, wherein the pot-shaped component comprises a base and a side wall. The sealing element can be accommodated as a sealing ring in a U-shaped or L-shaped section of the adapter.
As an alternative to an adapter designed as a substantially pot-shaped component, it can be provided that: the adapter is designed as a substantially flat washer. The gasket may have a welding edge at the edge side.
For a pallet container comprising an adapter piece of the inner liner which is fixed at an opening in a container wall of the shape-stable inner container, it is preferably designed such that: the adapter of the liner is fixed on the inner vessel by means of a screw cap, wherein the screw thread of the screw cap engages with a mating screw thread provided at the opening of the vessel wall, and wherein the screw cap overlaps the adapter. Such a screw cap is readily available as a standard and allows removal of the liner after use by simply loosening the screw cap.
Alternatively or additionally to the substantially releasable fastening of the adapter piece of the inner liner at the opening of the container wall of the substantially dimensionally stable inner container of the tray container, it can be provided that: the adapter piece of the lining is fixed to the opening of the container wall by means of a material-fit connection, in particular by means of a welded connection.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a liner for filling with fluid transport goods, wherein the liner is designed to: the fluid transport cargo is accommodated in the inner container of the pallet container, in particular in the inner container of a so-called Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC).
The inner lining comprises a thin-walled, flexible film 1, which film 1 is made of a plastic, such as polyethylene, wherein the film 1 is designed as a tube that is open on one side. The liner further comprises an adapter 2 for coupling the film 1 to an opening, not shown in fig. 1, in the container wall of the inner container of the IBC. Finally, the lining comprises a fitting 3 for removing the transported goods contained in the film 1. The film 1, the adapter 2 and the fitting 3 form a prefabricated composite part, the region enclosed by the film 1, the adapter 2 and the fitting 3 being sealed in a gas-tight manner from the surroundings. The enclosed region is sterilized, in particular by prior irradiation with high-energy radiation, and is sterile.
Fig. 2 shows that the membrane 1, which is designed as a tube with one open side, has a reinforcement ring 4 at the open end, by means of which reinforcement ring 4 the membrane 1 is connected to the adapter 2.
The adapter 2 is designed as a substantially rotationally symmetrical molded part, in particular a plastic molded part, which is produced in particular by injection molding. The adapter 2 is designed as a substantially pot-shaped component, wherein the pot-shaped component comprises a base 5 and a side wall 6, and wherein the base 5 has a through-opening 7 so that the transported goods can pass from the film 1 to the adapter 3. The reinforcement ring 4 of the membrane 1 is fixed on a first side of the bottom part 5 of the adapter 2. The fitting 3 is fixed on the second side of the bottom 5 such that the adapter 2 establishes a fixed connection of the membrane 1 with the fitting 3.
As can also be seen in particular from fig. 1, the side wall 6 of the adapter 2 is designed to taper slightly conically towards the membrane 1. Furthermore, it can be seen from fig. 2 that the adapter 2, which is designed as a can-shaped component, has a folded-over edge region 8, wherein the edge region 8 is bent out substantially in a U shape, so that a sealing ring of a sealing element 10 is arranged between an inner leg and an outer leg 9 of the "U".
The fitting 3 comprises a flap valve 11 and a connector 12, the end section of which connector 12 is fixed on the second side of the bottom 5 of the adapter 2. The continuous inner region of the inner lining, which extends from the tube of the membrane 1 and the reinforcement ring 4 of the membrane 1 and the passage 7 of the bottom 5 of the adapter 2 and the connecting piece 12 up to the flap valve 11 of the fitting 3, is designed to be gas-tight and sterile with respect to the surroundings.
Fig. 3 shows the installation of the composite part of the inner liner, which is designed as a prefabricated, gas-tight and sterile structural unit, at the opening 13 of the tray container, which is designed as a discharge opening. Only the inner container 14 is shown partially within the IBC-configured pallet container; inner container 14 is designed here as a dimensionally stable plastic part having a substantially cuboid shape, wherein this plastic part also has a defined, cuboid shape in the unfilled state. On the front container wall 15 of the inner container 14, a recessed section is provided centrally at the lower edge, where an outwardly projecting profile 16 is threaded on the outside and has a smooth surface on the inside. The membrane 1 is guided through the opening 13 into the inner region of the inner container 14 by: the adapter 2 rests with the outer side of the side wall 6 on the smooth surface of the inner side of the profile 16. The outer leg 9 of the U-shaped folded-over edge region 8 is then flush with the end of the outer thread of the profile 16.
The adapter 2, which is fixed in advance in the opening 13 in this way, is fixed on the inner container 14 by means of a screw cap 17, wherein the thread 18 of the screw cap 17 engages with a thread provided on the profile 16 of the opening 13 of the container wall 15 as a mating thread for the thread 18 of the screw cap 17, and wherein the screw cap overlaps the adapter 2. The screw cap 17 has a cover with a bore, wherein the fitting 3 passes through the bore.
Alternatively or in addition to the fastening of the adapter 2 to the inner container 14 of the pallet container, it can be provided that: the adapter part 2 of the lining is fixed to the opening 13 of the container wall 15 by a material-fit connection, in particular by a welded connection.
In the above described embodiment, the liner is fixed at the discharge port 13 of the tray container. In addition, it can be designed that: the liner is disposed at the inlet of the inner vessel substantially centrally on the upper lid surface of the inner vessel.
In the exemplary embodiments described above, the design is: the edge region 8 of the adapter 2 is bent out substantially U-shaped to accommodate the sealing ring of the seal 10. The angled-out edge region 8 of the adapter 2, which is essentially U-shaped in cross section, improves the stability of the coupling of the fitting 3 in the radial direction in the event of a drop-down casting. In a modification of this embodiment, it can be provided that: the edge region 8 of the adapter 2 is bent out in an L-shaped manner.
In the exemplary embodiments described above, the design is: the fitment 3 includes a flap valve 11. Alternatively, the fitting can also comprise a ball valve.

Claims (14)

1. A liner for containing transportation cargo, the liner for disposition within an inner container of a pallet container, wherein the liner comprises:
a thin-walled, flexible membrane (1), the membrane (1) being used to accommodate the transport goods,
an adapter (2) for coupling the film (1) to an opening (13) in a container wall of the inner container (14) of the tray container, and
an accessory (3), the accessory (3) being used for removing the transport goods,
wherein the film (1), the adapter (2) and the fitting (3) form a prefabricated composite unit, wherein the composite unit is designed such that, for the purpose of arranging the inner lining in the inner container, the film, which is part of the composite unit, is guided into the interior region of the inner container through a discharge opening in the front wall of the inner container, and
wherein the area enclosed by the membrane (1), the adapter (2) and the fitting (3) is hermetically closed from the surroundings.
2. The liner according to claim 1, wherein the adapter (2) is constructed as a substantially rotationally symmetrical molded part.
3. The liner according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the adapter (2) is configured as a substantially pot-shaped component, wherein the pot-shaped component comprises a bottom (5) and a side wall (6).
4. A liner according to claim 3, wherein the side walls (6) are constructed in a conically tapering manner.
5. A liner according to claim 3, wherein the pot-shaped part has a folded-over edge region (8).
