Background
Malignant tumor is a disease caused by the over proliferation of cells in the body due to the loss of normal regulation and control. Hyperproliferative cells are called cancer cells, which often invade surrounding tissues (infiltration, i nvas ion) and may even be transferred to other parts of the body via the systemic circulation and/or the lymphatic system (cancer metastasis). There are many types of cancer, and the severity of the condition depends on the location of the cancer cells, the degree of malignancy, and whether metastasis has occurred. Once diagnosed, treatment is often performed in combination with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. If the cancer is untreated, the end result will often lead to death.
At present, the traditional therapy for malignant tumor mainly adopts radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and the traditional chemotherapy has a plurality of side effects, including immunosuppression, mucosal injury and the like, which directly affect the life quality of patients, so that the substitute of the chemotherapy is urgently needed to be searched.
The anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine is mainly summarized into two methods of eliminating pathogenic factors and strengthening body resistance, namely a method of eliminating pathogenic factors, clearing away heat and toxic materials, activating blood and removing stasis, eliminating phlegm and resolving masses and a method of combating poison with poison; the methods of strengthening the body resistance, which are based on the orientation of the excess and deficiency of yin, yang, qi, blood, viscera and meridians, are classified into four methods of invigorating spleen, nourishing blood, tonifying kidney and nourishing yin. Mainly takes syndrome differentiation treatment as a main treatment, and can effectively control tumor development, improve survival time and improve survival quality. Many herbal medicines contain anti-tumor components and inhibit or kill tumor cells through multiple pathways and multiple targets. Research suggests that the anticancer mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine mainly has the following aspects: the traditional Chinese medicine has the advantages of relatively small side effect, can prevent cancer cells from relapse and transferring and improve the immunity of patients, so the traditional Chinese medicine is more and more widely applied to clinical application.

Luteolin (luteolin) is firstly separated from honeysuckle in flavonoid Zhanqitailang of 1949, loniceraside is separated from him in 1961, and 4 flavonoids are firstly separated from honeysuckle in Gaoyamine of 1995.
Triterpene saponin, wherein a novel triterpene saponin containing six glycosyl groups is separated from honeysuckle flower in 1990. In 1993, Maoqing and the like are also separated to obtain 3 triterpene saponins. In 1994, Chenmin et al isolated 2 new dicaffeoylquinic acid vinegar compounds. Three triterpenoid saponins are separated from Mongolian snakegourd fruit and the like.
Volatile oil is the effective component of honeysuckle. Separating out linalool, bisabolol, palmitic acid, dihydrogeraniol, methyl tetracosanate, ethyl octadecadienoate, ethyl palmitate, 1-dicyclohexyl and other components by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The honeysuckle flower and dried flower have large component difference. The fresh flower volatile oil component is mainly linalool and has a content of more than 14%, and the dry flower volatile oil component is mainly palmitic acid and generally accounts for more than 26%. 5-hydroxy 7, 4-dimethoxy flavone was first discovered from this plant by the enzyme chennge et al, 2002, and quercetin, loniceraside, oleanolic acid and daucosterol were first discovered from the flower buds of this plant. The pharmacological actions of honeysuckle flower are mainly as follows: antibacterial, antiviral, antiinflammatory, antipyretic, cholagogue, hepatoprotective, blood lipid reducing, and immunity improving effects.
In vivo experiments show that the antitumor capability of the aqueous extracts of the medlar and the honeysuckle is obviously improved after the aqueous extracts of the medlar and the honeysuckle are fermented by lactic acid bacteria, saccharomycetes and acetic acid bacteria.
