Background
When the tundish sends molten steel to the crystallizer to crystallize in the steelmaking process, the sealing between the butted upper water gap and lower water gap is poor, and oxygen enters from the butt joint seam during pouring, so that secondary oxidation is caused on part of the molten steel, the purity of the steel is reduced, the content of impurities is increased, and the quality of a product is influenced. Particularly, when titanium-containing stainless steel is produced, serious nozzle blockage can be caused, and even the nozzle is blocked to interrupt pouring, so that molten steel waste is caused, and the yield of steelmaking is reduced. The existing connecting structure has the disadvantages of complicated parts, high precision, high cost, inconvenience in installation, poor safety and poor controllability. The existing novel connecting structure is mainly used on the crystallizer and is not arranged at the connecting position of the upper water gap and the lower water gap, so that the original old upper water gap and the lower water gap cannot ensure air seal, and most parts for connecting the crystallizer need to be replaced when the air seal needs to be replaced, and the cost is high.
