Description

Battery tab dislocation detection device
Technical Field
The invention relates to a detection device, in particular to a battery tab dislocation detection device for detecting the relative position of a battery tab and a battery core, and belongs to the technical field of lithium batteries.
Background
The battery tab is a raw material of a lithium ion polymer battery product. The battery is divided into positive and negative poles, and the electrode lugs are metal conductors for leading the positive and negative poles out of the battery core, so that the ears of the positive and negative poles of the battery are contact points during charge and discharge. This contact is not the copper sheet that we see on the exterior of the cell, but rather a connection inside the cell. The tab is divided into three materials, the positive electrode of the battery is made of aluminum (Al) material, the negative electrode of the battery is made of nickel (Ni) material, the negative electrode of the battery is also made of copper nickel plating (Ni-Cu) material, and the tab and the negative electrode are formed by compounding a film and a metal belt.
Whether the position of the battery lug relative to the battery core is correct or not is an important factor directly related to the quality of lithium battery products in the production process of the lithium battery; at present, a detection device for detecting whether the relative positions of battery lugs and battery cells are correct is lacking in the lithium battery production industry, so that unqualified battery cells easily flow into a rear-end process, and resource waste is caused.

The pushing plate assembly is used for longitudinally positioning the battery cell, the clamping jaw assembly is used for transversely positioning the battery cell, and the parts of the clamping jaw assembly and the pushing plate assembly, which are in contact with the battery cell, are made of soft insulating materials, such as insulating rubber; the tab is located under the detection block, which is a harder insulating material, such as bakelite. During detection, the push plate assembly and the clamping jaw assembly accurately convey the battery cell to a designated position, the probe descends into a hole of the detection block under the action of the probe cylinder to be contacted with the lug, the position of a single lug is detected by three probes which are aligned, the middle probe is contacted with the lug, the probes on two sides fall out, the position of the lug is judged to be correct, feedback signals of any probe are inconsistent with the feedback signals, and the lug is judged to be misplaced. The invention can rapidly and effectively detect whether the battery tab and the battery core are misplaced.
Preferably, in order to accurately position the battery cell longitudinally, the push plate assembly comprises a push plate cylinder and a push plate, wherein the push plate cylinder is arranged at the rear part of the frame, and a piston at the front end of the push plate cylinder is connected with the push plate. During detection, the electric core is accurately sent to the longitudinal designated position by the push plate cylinder through the push plate, so that the detection precision is effectively improved.
Preferably, in order to accurately and transversely position the battery cell, the clamping jaw assembly comprises a clamping jaw cylinder and clamping jaws, a piston of the clamping jaw cylinder stretches and contracts transversely along the frame, and the clamping jaws are connected with the clamping jaw cylinder and the jaw openings are downward. When the detection is performed, the pushing plate cylinder accurately sends the battery cell to the longitudinal designated position through the pushing plate, and the clamping jaw cylinder contracts to drive the clamping jaw to retract, so that the battery cell is transversely and accurately positioned, and the detection precision is effectively improved.
Preferably, in order to improve the detection efficiency, the detection assembly comprises at least two sets of probes and is fixed on a probe fixing block driven by the same probe cylinder, and the detection block is provided with through holes with corresponding number and positions; the push plate assembly comprises push plates which are driven by the same push plate cylinder and have the same number as the probe sleeves; each set of push plates is respectively provided with a set of clamping claw components. During detection, a plurality of battery cells can be detected at the same time, so that the detection efficiency is improved.
