The invention provides an off-line two-dimensional code payment method and a system thereof, wherein the method comprises the steps that a payer shows a payment two-dimensional code containing a signature and payment information; the payment device scans the payment two-dimensional code; the collection device checks the signature information; if the signature verification is successful, storing the payment two-dimensional code; judging whether the cash register is connected with the network or not; when the collection equipment is in the networking state, corresponding deduction operation is carried out according to the payment information; the method can ensure safe off-line payment.
