Abstract

The die-withdrawing unit for the injection molding equipment, which is applied to the on-board chuck assembly, has the beneficial effects that: the injection molding part is clamped by the rubber mouth clamping head and the product clamping head in a time sequence, so that clamping damage of the clamping head to an unsecured and shaped product in the early stage of die withdrawal is effectively avoided, automatic rubber cutting of the product is realized by dislocation of the two clamping heads, and the product discharging efficiency is greatly improved.

Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to mold designs, and more particularly, to a chuck assembly for ejecting an injection molded part applied to a plastic ring.
Background
The injection molding process is a preferable process capable of meeting the processing production of various nonstandard special-shaped parts, and has the remarkable advantages of one-step molding and large-scale production compared with the traditional cutting and milling operation modes. Of course, to increase productivity, particularly for plastic rings of relatively small gauge size, such products are typically produced by one-mold, multi-cavity injection molding.
In the traditional one-die multi-cavity injection molding process, the product is usually taken directly with a glue channel in the process of die withdrawal, die withdrawal and part removal are carried out, and the finished product discharging of the plastic ring can be completed only by carrying out manual sorting and glue cutting operation. And the die is directly withdrawn for discharging, so that the products are disordered, and the loss of the die cavity cannot be tracked and positioned to timely overhaul the die.

Detailed Description
The following detailed description of the embodiments of the present application is provided with reference to the accompanying drawings, so that the technical scheme of the present application can be understood and mastered more easily.
The application relates to a plate-mounted chuck assembly of a plastic ring injection mold, which aims at the weak condition of the design of a multi-cavity injection mold withdrawal and extraction mechanism, and solves the problems of withdrawal, glue cutting and material separation and extraction of multi-cavity injection molding parts.
Fig. 1 and 2 are schematic perspective views and partially enlarged schematic views of an on-board chuck assembly according to the present application. The on-board chuck assembly is attached to the tail end of an automatic mechanical arm for discharging finished products of injection molding equipment (the tail end is not shown because the part has a complex structure and does not relate to the core of the application), and is mainly used for automatically clamping the plastic ring products after mold opening under the control of the mechanical arm, thereby releasing manpower and improving the production operation efficiency. From the general structural features, the on-board chuck assembly comprises a bottom plate 1 and more than two clamping jaw units 2 connected to the bottom plate, wherein any clamping jaw unit 2 is provided with two parts of a glue mouth chuck 21 corresponding to the center of a plastic ring and a product chuck 22 corresponding to the side wall of the plastic ring, and the chuck buses of the parts are connected with a controller (not shown in conventional configuration) of the injection molding equipment in time sequence. The two chucks are controlled by the controller to sequentially carry out clamping actions, so that the residual operation of the formed product after discharging is completed.
As can be seen from the illustrated embodiment, three rows of four columns of matrix 12 jaw units 2 are provided on the base plate 1, each jaw unit being independently controlled by the controller clamping action. The corresponding mold in this example is a multi-cavity injection mold with a single mold and two sets of 12 plastic rings. Of course, the on-board chuck assembly can also be correspondingly changed according to the number and the positions of the mold cavities and the shape change of the injection molding product, but two sets of chucks which are respectively clamped for the glue mouth and the product are reserved.
From the respective function of the two chucks, the end 211 of the aforementioned glue-mouth chuck 21 is provided as a top-shaped bulge, each of which is controlled to radially contract, grip the casting 31 positioned in the centre of the plastic ring 3, or to radially expand and release the casting. The glue mouth chuck is a multi-rod gathering chuck, and the end part is provided with a limit structure for preventing the casting part from further travel.
The body of the product chuck 22 is fixed by being attached to the base plate 1 through a adapting base 221, and the product chuck 22 can also be controlled to clamp the plastic ring to move forward and backward axially, so as to form a height difference with the rubber-mouth chuck. Because the connection point between the casting part and the product is formed to be very thin and narrow in the design process of the mould, when the product chuck moves forward and backward, the connection point can be twisted off naturally, and automatic glue cutting is realized.
As can be seen from the description of the embodiments with reference to the drawings, the beneficial effects of the application of the on-board clamping head assembly of the present application to the mold withdrawing unit of the injection molding apparatus are as follows: the injection molding part is clamped by the rubber mouth clamping head and the product clamping head in a time sequence, so that clamping damage of the clamping head to an unsecured and shaped product in the early stage of die withdrawal is effectively avoided, automatic rubber cutting of the product is realized by dislocation of the two clamping heads, and the product discharging efficiency is greatly improved.
