本申请总体涉及管道,并且更具体地涉及提高管道的声学和/或热性能的管道衬套。
发明背景
管道和管路被用于在建筑物供暖、通风和空调(HVAC)系统中输送空气。常常这些管道是由金属薄板形成的并且结果不拥有良好的热或者声性能。为了提高这些性能,管道被衬以柔性或者刚性隔热和隔音材料。用于空调系统的管道绝缘一般包括附着至绝缘层的护面层。所述绝缘层常常是由玻璃纤维制成的。所述护面材料一般通过粘合剂被附连到绝缘层上。

图1示出了管道衬套100的示例性实施例。所示管道衬套100包括绝缘层102和护面104。绝缘层102可采用多种不同形式。在所示实施例中,绝缘层102是具有前边缘106、后边缘108、宽度W1和长度L1的矩形。然而,绝缘层102可具有任何形状以适应管道衬套100的期望应用场合。

护面104设置在绝缘层102的第一面对表面114上。护面104可采用多种不同的形式。护面104可是单片材料、或者多个不同的材料片或者材料板,并且可包括单层或者多层材料。在图1的示例性实施例中,护面104是单片材料,所述材料片被设置在第一面对表面114上,以使得所述护面基本上覆盖住整个第一面对表面。

护面104可被按多种不同的方式设置在绝缘层102上。在一个示例性实施例中,护面104被附着到绝缘层102上。护面104可以被按多种不同的方式附着到绝缘层102上。例如,护面104可以利用粘合剂、通过超声波焊接被附着到绝缘层102上,或者护面可以通过机械式紧固件被固定到绝缘层上。多种不同的粘合剂可以被用于将护面104附着到绝缘层102上。例如,所述粘合剂可以是水基粘合剂、单组分粘合剂、两组分粘合剂、粉末粘合剂、热熔性粘合剂、薄膜式粘合剂、诸如无甲醛粘结剂的粘结剂和纺粘热熔胶网。纺粘热熔胶网可从俄亥俄州的Cuyahoga Falls的Spunfab处获得。所述粘合剂可按多种不同的方式施加。所述粘合剂可例如通过喷涂、滚压、刷拂等被施加于绝缘层102和/或护面104。当使用粘结剂时,粘结剂可以是绝缘层102和/或护面104的一部分,并且粘结剂的固化将绝缘层102附着至护面104。
在一个示例性实施例中,粘合剂是无水薄膜式粘合剂,诸如遇热活化的热塑胶。在示例性实施例中,所述无水薄膜式粘合剂具有小于或等于大约60微米、从大约6.0到大约30.0微米、或者从大约10微米到大约15微米的厚度。所述无水薄膜式粘合剂经由热的应用被施加于护面104。例如,所述无水薄膜式粘合剂可被定位到护面104上,并且随后通过利用加热板或者其他合适的加热装置(例如,炉子)加热护面材料而被附着到护面上。类似地,可通过将护面和绝缘层加热到无水薄膜式粘合剂的熔点温度或以上达足以将护面附着至绝缘层的时间,来将护面104附着到绝缘层102上。合适的粘合剂的非限制性实例包括乙烯共聚物、聚氨基甲酸酯、乙烯-乙酸乙烯共聚物(EVA)、无定形聚烯烃、聚乙烯、低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、玻璃纸、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PETP)、聚氯乙烯(PVC)尼龙、聚丙烯、聚苯乙烯、聚酰胺和醋酸纤维素。
可使用多种机械式固定装置将护面104固定到绝缘层102上。所述机械式固定装置可与粘合剂、超声波焊接和/或其他连结种类结合使用或作为其替代。可用于将护面104连接至绝缘层102的机械式固定装置的实例包括但不限于:销连接、针连接、缝合和夹紧或者摩擦式紧固件。可使用允许护面104被附接至绝缘层102的任何一种紧固件。
绝缘层102和护面104的厚度可变化。在一些示例性实施例中,取决于应用场合和期望的热效率,绝缘层102可为大约13毫米到大约51毫米厚,并且护面104可为大约0.40毫米到大约0.70毫米厚。然而。在其他实施例,绝缘层可比13毫米薄或者比51毫米厚,并且护面104可比0.40毫米薄或者比0.70毫米厚。
图2示出了用于制造管道衬套100的纤维绝缘件的生产线200的示例性实施例。生产线200包括形成玻璃纤维204的纤维旋抛机,所述纤维旋抛机大致向下吹以将玻璃纤维定位在成型室206内部的护面104上。在一示例性实施例中,玻璃纤维当仍是热的时被用水状粘结剂合成物喷涂。附着有未固化树脂粘结剂的玻璃纤维204可以被收集并形成环形成型传送带210的刮刀102上的未固化包208。可包括导向件(未显示)以限定包208的侧面,并且可沿由图2所示的线的任一点包括导向件,或者可在限定绝缘层102的宽度处可添加站点。护面104可具有预先施加的无水粘合剂,所述无水粘合剂设置在施加玻璃纤维204的一侧上。该粘合剂可被施加于护面的整个表面或者仅被施加于落有玻璃纤维的那部分。护面可由辊子212供给至传送带210。
粘合剂被设置在绝缘层102和/或护面104上,和/或绝缘层的粘结剂可被用来将绝缘层102粘附到护面104上。包208和护面104被加热,诸如,通过将包输送通过固化炉214,在固化炉处热空气吹过绝缘包208和护面104以蒸发掉粘结剂中的任何残留水、固化粘结剂和粘合剂、使绝缘包208中的纤维刚性地结合到一起、并且将护面104粘附到绝缘包208。
管道衬套100离开固化炉214并且被引向卷起装置216。管道衬套100的柔性允许其卷到卷形物220上以用于贮存和分配(参见图2和3),并随后被展开和切割或者冲压以形成可被安装在金属管道组件500中的部段(参见图5)。
参见图3,当管道衬套100被卷起时,每一绝缘层102具有内侧302和外侧304。管道衬套100被卷成使得护面104被定位成绝缘层102的外侧304,以为绝缘层提供增强作用。当管道衬套100被卷成卷220时,护面104在绝缘层102的外侧304上的定位防止绝缘层102的叠盖。
参见图4,当管道衬套100被弯曲成卷220时,在绝缘层102的外侧部分404中产生拉伸应力402,而同时在内部部分408中产生压缩应力406。对于粘结的玻璃纤维绝缘件来说在整个绝缘层102上密度方面具有一些变化是常见的。因此,绝缘层102的一些部分比其他部分具有更高的密度和重量。在卷起的绝缘层的外侧没有护面104的情况中,管道衬套100卷起时产生的应力可能在较低密度和较轻重量区域中的绝缘层内部引起撕裂或者分离。绝缘件在或邻近外侧304的撕裂和分离对绝缘产生了损害,并且形成了被称为叠盖作用的松散端或者“卷边”。如果比绝缘层102更硬的护面410(由图4中的虚线示出)施加于内侧302,则可能加剧叠盖。内侧护面410能够折叠或者弄皱,这由于压缩绝缘层102而增大了外侧304中的应力。除了内侧护面410折叠产生的增大应力之外,内侧护面410中的皱褶或者皱纹在管道衬套100展开后可残存。
图5示出了绝缘的管道组件500的示例性实施例。所述绝缘的管道组件500包括固定至管道壳体502的管道衬套100。所示管道壳体502包括内表面504和外表面506且管道衬套100固定至内表面,以使得绝缘层102被夹在内表面和护面104之间。如此,护面104将绝缘层102与通过管道壳体502的气流隔离开。
管道组件500可具有多种不同的构造。在图5中所示的示例性实施例中,壳体502在横截面中具有矩形形状。然而,壳体可具有任何一种形状。在图5中所示的实例中,单片管道衬套100被用于隔离开管道壳体502的整个内表面504。然而,管道衬套的宽度W1可被选择成适应多种不同的应用场合。例如,宽度W1可相当于管道壳体502的长度L2,以使得管道衬套100被按相当于管道的内部周长的长度L1进行切割。在另一实施例中,管道衬套100的宽度W1可相当于管道或者管道一半的内部周长,以使得管道衬套100被按相当于管道壳体502的长度L2的长度L1进行切割。
管道衬套100可按多种方式被固定到管道壳体502上。例如,在图5的示例性实施例中,管道衬套100通过紧固件510被固定到管道壳体502上。所述紧固件510可采用多种不同的形式。例如,如现有技术中已知的,紧固件510可包括被附接至管道壳体的销钉,且所述销钉的头部连接至销钉的端部。所述头部牢固保持管道衬套100抵靠管道壳体502并且被附接至销钉,所述销钉被撞击驱入管道壳体以形成至管道壳体的正机械附接。在另一实施例中,头部1002被附接至撞击焊接(诸如通过电阻焊接或者电容焊接)到管道壳体中的销钉上。可使用能将管道衬套100充分固定至管道壳体502的任何一种系统。
虽然已经通过发明的实施例的描述阐明了本发明,但是,申请人的意图不是将所附权利要求的范围限制或者以任何方式限定于所述细节。附加的优点和改进对所属领域的技术人员来说是显而易见的。更进一步,虽然本文已经显示并描述了矩形的构件,但是还可以使用包括椭圆形、多边形(例如,正方形、三角形、六边形等)及其他形状的其他几何形状。因此,按其更宽广的视角,发明不限于具体细节、代表性设备和所显示并描述的说明性实例。因此,在不脱离申请人的总发明构思的精神或者范围的情况下可偏离所述详述。
Claims (15)
1.一种按卷设置的管道衬套,包括:
绝缘层,所述绝缘层具有第一面对表面和与所述第一面对表面相反并间隔开的第二面对表面;和
纤维玻璃毡式护面,所述纤维玻璃毡式护面设置在所述第一面对表面上,以使得所述第一面对表面的大部分被所述护面覆盖住,
其中所述纤维玻璃毡式护面未设置在所述第二面对表面上,和
其中所述管道衬套被卷成使得所述纤维玻璃毡和第一面对表面在所述第二面对表面的径向外侧。
2.根据权利要求1所述的管道衬套,其中所述纤维玻璃毡式护面基本上覆盖住整个所述第一面对表面。
3.根据权利要求1所述的管道衬套,其中所述绝缘层是由纤维材料制成的。
4.根据权利要求1所述的管道衬套,其中所述护面利用粘合剂被粘附到所述绝缘层上。
5.根据权利要求1所述的管道衬套,其中所述粘合剂是遇热激活的无水薄膜式热塑粘合剂。
6.根据权利要求4所述的管道衬套,其中所述护面通过机械式紧固件被附接到所述绝缘层上。
7.根据权利要求1所述的管道衬套,其中所述护面是单片材料。
8.根据权利要求1所述的管道衬套,其中所述护面是利用玻璃纤维和丙烯酸粘结剂所形成的非织造垫。
9.根据权利要求8所述的管道衬套,其中所述护面具有大约0.5毫米的厚度。
10.一种制造管道衬套的方法,包括:
提供绝缘层,所述绝缘层具有第一面对表面和与所述第一面对表面相反并间隔开的第二面对表面;
在所述第一面对表面上设置纤维玻璃毡式护面,其中没有纤维玻璃毡式护面设置在所述第二面对表面上;
将所述绝缘层和纤维玻璃毡式护面一起卷成卷,以使得所述纤维玻璃毡和第一面对表面在所述第二面对表面的径向外侧。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中第一面对表面被所述护面完全覆盖。
12.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述绝缘层是由纤维材料制成的。
13.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述护面是利用玻璃纤维和丙烯酸粘结剂所形成的非织造垫。
14.根据权利要求10所述的方法,还包括利用粘合剂将所述护面粘附到所述绝缘层上。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述粘合剂是遇热激活的无水薄膜式热塑粘合剂。
