Description
发明背景
1.发明领域
本发明涉及用于食品与非食品产品包装的无铝箔聚合物涂布的纸板。更具体而言,本发明涉及一种搁置寿命长,由改进的可热合无铝箔复合结构组成的纸板或层合材料。
2.现有技术的描述
水分损失是限制包装商品,包括食品和非食品产品,搁置寿命的首要因素。这种水分损失尤其限制了搁置寿命长于一年的干燥搁置寿命储存。目前,这类产品被包装在玻璃罐、金属罐头,或铝箔层合包装套中。
可热合的低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)是通用厚纸板的众所周知的所分。此外众所周知,不透性材料诸如铝箔,极性材料例如聚酰胺、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚偏二氯乙烯、聚氯乙烯等和高度结晶非极性材料诸如高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)和聚丙烯给水分的吸收和/或传递带来各种程度的阻碍。
食品饮料厚纸板现有的商业性结构使用一种容易热合的不渗透性层合材料,该材料是由纸板夹在两层低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)之间组成。LDPE是一种廉价的可热合不透湿层。但是,这种传统结构的使用已在走下坡路,因为厚LDPE层短时期之后吸收芳香油导致热合牢固性的破坏和涂层的应力龟裂,并使芳香油透入纸板和进入大气。此外,这种传统结构事实上对氧气没有阻挡力。
再一传统结构是把两个额外涂层,即铝箔层和另一LDPE层加到上面指出的结构上。昂贵的铝箔层增加了对氧气的阻挡力,同时另一LDPE层提供层合材料的可热合性。但是,上述结构对吸收芳香油和香气的阻挡性仍然不足,因为接触产品的内层是厚LDPE层。
在储存食品与非食品产品的结构中使用铝箔有别的缺点。这种结构成本高。由于材料费和加工费两者都高。需要把铝箔加工到形成铝箔薄片的程度。用于这一作业的机械设备、时间和人力大大提高了成品的价格。而且,铝的材料费较高且易发生价格大波动,使成本预测很难用于长期连续生产。
近年来,随着生产及其副产物能对环境造成负面影响这一认识的逐渐形成,资源再生及制成品重复使用已成为主要关心内容,为了获得可重复使用的产品并防止危害环境,含铝箔的结构在进一步重复使用之前必须除去金属铝箔。先前用作包装仅有的无铝箔水分阻挡材料是昂贵的Saranex或一氧化硅聚合物(SiOx)的层合薄膜。这两种薄膜都有环境、处置或重复使用的担心。
此外,包装材料中的铝箔可能与其它操作相干扰。例如,当对某些食品与非食品产品进行必要的金属检测时,包装材料中铝箔的存在就与这种金属检测相干扰。如果以原包装对产品进行微波处理,有铝箔就可能对使用者构成危险,而且可能损坏微波炉。
所以,根据上述,需要一种无铝箔纸板结构,其提供密封度并为室温下储存的长搁置寿命提供有效的水分阻挡层,又克服铝箔包装的缺点。
本发明的目的是提供一种成本有效的挤塑/共挤塑涂布或者薄膜层合在无铝箔纸板上的结构,它不污染环境且能转变成用于特定产品销售市场的纸板包装。而且,本发明的目的是提供多种结构,它们具有必需的阻挡性能,包括阻挡水分、氧气和有机蒸气,以及可热合性,以对于选定的食品与非食品产品在干燥搁置贮存期间获得高达一年的搁置寿命。
发明概述

发明详述
参照图1,本发明层合材料的优选实施方案表明,它包含:不同厚度的纸板基材20,例如最合适的高级厚纸料为431克/平方米半加仑基本原料,在其一面施加低密度聚乙烯聚合物(LDPE)22涂层,涂层重量相当于每平方米19.5克。任何商品挤出涂料级LDPE都适用于此。在层合材料的背面或里面,即在纸板层20上是涂层重量相当于每平方米29.3克的尼龙层24,及粘结材料层26(诸如泰莫尔(Tymor),乙烯和马来酸酐聚合材料的商品名,或更具体而言Tymor 1205),其涂层重量相当于每平方米6.5克。粘结层26的里面是夹芯层27,它包含低密度聚乙烯聚合物(LDPE)涂层28,涂层重量相当于每平方米4.9克,高密度聚乙烯聚合物(HDPE)涂层30,涂层重量相当于每平方米35.8克,以及低密度聚乙烯聚合物(LDPE)第二最内涂层32,涂层重量相当于每平方米4.9克。
参照图2,本发明层合材料的第二实施方案表明,它包含:纸板基材20,任其一面施加LDPE层22,施加在纸板层20上的是尼龙层24及粘结材料(Tymor)层26。粘结层26的里面是夹芯层27,它包含高密度聚乙烯聚合物(HDPE)层40,涂层重量相当于每平方米17.9克,LDPE层42,涂层重量相当于每平方米9.8克,以及HDPE第二最内层44,涂层重量相当于每平方米17.9克。
第一实施方案的LDPE层28,HDPE层30及LDPE层32可以分别被挤出,或者作为共挤出。最内层32可以用LLDPE代替LDPE制成。
参照图3,第三实施方案表明,它包含纸板基材20,其一侧上有LDPE涂层22,在其相对于LDPE涂层的另一侧施有尼龙层24。粘结材料层26涂布在尼龙层24上。LLDPE最内层36涂布在粘结层26上。
供非食品包装用的本发明的容器有一水蒸气阻挡层,其水蒸气透过速率(WVTR)为至少每天0.1-0.2g/100in2(设100%相对湿度(RH)和100°F)。用这种容器盛装织物软化剂及其它洗涤剂能够成功地保证至少12个月的干燥搁置储存。层合材料可以有额外的香味阻挡层(尼龙或者乙烯一乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH))和/或氧气阻挡层(EVOH)。本发明的层合材料结构的另一优点是,它有足够的密封能力用于热装产品,即耐得住高于93℃热装温度的能力,没有受到热合时热针孔的损害。
通过阻挡层透过速率试验和搁置寿命试验来决定阻挡层聚合物的涂布重量。能使复合结构逐一满足特定产品及搁置寿命储存的条件。本发明的实施方案实现至少12个月的干燥搁置寿命储存,能够盛装腐蚀性产品,提供有效的水分阻挡层,为特定产品提供有效的有机蒸气(气味)和氧气阻挡层,而且有足够的密封能力。可见,本发明提供一种不污染环境的无铝箔层合材料。

涂布在该粘结层内表面上的夹芯层,该夹芯层包含:低密度聚乙烯聚合物层,高密度聚乙烯聚合物层,以及低密度聚乙烯聚合物最内层。
