Abstract
本发明公开了一种透明光纤润滑脂及其制备方法,属于专用润滑脂技术领域。本发明的技术方案要点为:一种透明光纤润滑脂,是由以下重量份的原料制备而成的:基础油67‑87份、稠化剂8‑18份、胶凝剂2.8‑4.8份、抗氧剂2份和阻水剂4.2份。本发明还具体公开了该透明光纤润滑脂的制备方法。本发明制备的透明光纤润滑脂具有较低的临界屈服应力和剪切模量,有效降低了光纤所承受的应力进而保证光纤不被折断,具有良好的高低温性能和较宽的温度使用范围,并且具有良好的阻水性能和透光性能。
Description
技术领域
本发明属于特种润滑脂技术领域,具体涉及一种透明光纤润滑脂及其制备方法。
背景技术
光纤润滑脂是在光纤光缆中使用的润滑脂,是一种用于保护光缆中光纤的专用润滑脂。光纤是由一根根的玻璃或纤维制作而成的纤维,用于传送光信号,再用几层保护层包裹着一束光纤,外面再用胶皮包裹就形成了光缆。多模光纤纤芯的直径包括50μm和62.5μm两种,单模光纤纤芯的直径为8-10μm,纤芯外面包裹着一层折射率比纤芯低的玻璃封套以使光信号在纤芯内传播,纤芯通常是由石英玻璃制成的横截面积很小的双层同心圆柱体,由于质地脆、易断裂,因此需要外加一层保护层。
光缆都非常长,需要弯曲盘起来,这样运输比较方便,然而纤芯是玻璃制成的,质地脆,容易断裂,即使外边有保护层也不能保证万无一失。玻璃纤芯断裂的主要原因是光纤弯曲时玻璃丝受到了应力而导致的断裂,只要能够减小玻璃丝的应力就可以大幅度降低玻璃纤芯断裂的可能性。
为了减小光纤的应力以保证光纤弯曲时不被折断,需要在每一根光纤之间及光纤束与保护层之间填充光纤润滑脂,光纤润滑脂是膏状物,当光纤弯曲时可以减小光纤的应力进而保护光纤不被折断,并且光纤润滑脂是透明的,并不会影响光信号的传输,然而目前使用的光纤润滑脂并不能较好的满足光纤润滑的耐低温性和阻水性。
发明内容
本发明解决的技术问题是提供了一种能够有效保护光纤不被折断、具有较好的阻水功能且不会影响光信号传输的透明光纤润滑脂及其制备方法。
本发明为解决上述技术问题采用如下技术方案,一种透明光纤润滑脂,其特征在于是由以下重量份的原料制备而成的:基础油67-87份、稠化剂8-18份、胶凝剂2.8-4.8份、抗氧剂2份和阻水剂4.2份,其中基础油为透明石蜡基基础油或透明合成基础油,稠化剂为有机硅胶,胶凝剂为乙烯聚合物、丙烯聚合物、丁烯聚合物、乙烯-丙烯共聚物、乙烯-丁烯共聚物或苯乙烯-丁二烯-3-氯丙烯共聚物,抗氧剂为T501或T246,阻水剂为聚丙烯酸盐类化合物。
本发明所述的透明光纤润滑脂的制备方法,其特征在于具体步骤为:
(1)将80重量份的500N基础油加入到皂化釜中,搅拌升温至120℃分批加入14.5重量份的有机硅胶,恒温搅拌30min;
(2)再向皂化釜中加入4重量份的苯乙烯-丁二烯-3-氯丙烯共聚物,自然降温至80℃恒温30min;
(3)将皂化釜中温度升至90℃时加入2重量份的T501和4.2重量份的阻水剂聚丙烯酸盐类化合物,搅拌混合均匀,循环剪切,均脂,脱气制得透明光纤润滑脂。
本发明制备的透明光纤润滑脂具有较低的临界屈服应力和剪切模量,有效降低了光纤所承受的应力进而保证光纤不被折断,具有良好的高低温性能和较宽的温度使用范围,并且具有良好的阻水性能和透光性能。
具体实施方式
以下通过实施例对本发明的上述内容做进一步详细说明,但不应该将此理解为本发明上述主题的范围仅限于以下的实施例,凡基于本发明上述内容实现的技术均属于本发明的范围。
实施例
1、将80g 500N基础油加入到皂化釜中,搅拌升温至120℃分批加入14.5g有机硅胶,恒温搅拌30min;
2、再向皂化釜中加入4g苯乙烯-丁二烯-3-氯丙烯共聚物,自然降温至80℃恒温30min;
3、将皂化釜中温度升至90℃时加入2g T501和4.2g阻水剂聚丙烯酸盐类化合物,搅拌混合均匀,循环剪切,均脂,脱气制得透明光纤润滑脂。
本实施例制得的透明光纤润滑脂具有较低的临界屈服应力和剪切模量及优良的热稳定性和不滴出性,并且具有一定的阻水性和与其它材料的相容性,在光纤中具有较好的应用。

Claims (2)
1.一种透明光纤润滑脂,其特征在于是由以下重量份的原料制备而成的:基础油67-87份、稠化剂8-18份、胶凝剂2.8-4.8份、抗氧剂2份和阻水剂4.2份,其中基础油为透明石蜡基基础油或透明合成基础油,稠化剂为有机硅胶,胶凝剂为乙烯聚合物、丙烯聚合物、丁烯聚合物、乙烯-丙烯共聚物、乙烯-丁烯共聚物或苯乙烯-丁二烯-3-氯丙烯共聚物,抗氧剂为T501或T246,阻水剂为聚丙烯酸盐类化合物。
2.一种透明光纤润滑脂的制备方法,其特征在于具体步骤为:
(1)将80重量份的500N基础油加入到皂化釜中,搅拌升温至120℃分批加入14.5重量份的有机硅胶,恒温搅拌30min;
(2)再向皂化釜中加入4重量份的苯乙烯-丁二烯-3-氯丙烯共聚物,自然降温至80℃恒温30min;
(3)将皂化釜中温度升至90℃时加入2重量份的T501和4.2重量份的阻水剂聚丙烯酸盐类化合物,搅拌混合均匀,循环剪切,均脂,脱气制得透明光纤润滑脂。
