Exemplary method
A presentation method of video content according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 5 in conjunction with the application scenarios of fig. 1 to 4. It should be noted that the above application scenarios are merely illustrated for the convenience of understanding the spirit and principles of the present invention, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited in this respect. Rather, embodiments of the present invention may be applied to any scenario where applicable.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating an embodiment of a method for displaying video content according to the present invention, which mainly includes a process of searching for a video clip including a target object according to the target object selected by a user and displaying the video clip to the user, where an execution subject may be a user terminal 101 and/or a server 102 in an application scene overview (that is, all of the video clip may be executed by the user terminal 101, all of the video clip may be executed by the server 102, or part of the video clip may be executed by the user terminal 101 and part of the video clip may be executed by the server 102), as shown in fig. 5, a method for displaying video content according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps:
step 502, determining a target object selected by a user.
In this step, the target object refers to an object that the user desires to watch, that is, an object that the user desires to watch in the video to be played or the video being played, and the target object may be one or more objects, which is not limited in the present invention.
Step 504, according to the target object selected by the user, searching a video clip including the target object from the target video, and displaying the searched video clip to the user.
In this step, the target video may be a currently played video, or may be another video belonging to the same episode list as the currently played video, or may be another video included in the media video library. After the target object selected by the user is determined, namely, after the object which the user desires to watch in the video to be played or the video being played is determined, according to the target object selected by the user, a video clip including the target object is searched from the target video, and the searched video clip is displayed to the user for the user to select to watch. In which, according to the target object selected by the user, a video clip containing the target object is searched from the target video, and a method in the prior art may be adopted, which is not described herein again.
Of course, it should be noted that, under the condition that one target object is selected by the user, a video clip including the target object is searched from the target video, and under the condition that N target objects are selected by the user, a video clip including N target objects selected by the user at the same time is searched from the target video, where N is a natural number greater than 1.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the target object selected by the user is determined, the video segment comprising the target object is searched from the target video according to the target object selected by the user, and the searched video segment is displayed to the user, so that the situation that the user searches the video segment comprising the target object in the video in a mode of viewing the plot introduction or dragging the progress bar is avoided, the video segment comprising the target object can be searched and displayed to the user as long as the user selects the target object desired to be viewed, the operation of viewing the video segment comprising the target object by the user is simplified, the accuracy of video node positioning and the operation efficiency of the user are improved, and the viewing experience of the user is improved.
When the step 504 is specifically implemented, the searched video segments are displayed to the user, including: and for each video clip, selecting a frame of picture from the video clip as a thumbnail corresponding to the video clip, and displaying the thumbnail corresponding to the video clip and linked with the video clip to a user.
Specifically, when the searched video segments are displayed to the user, in order to more intuitively display scenes and objects in the video segments and increase the loading speed of the display page, one frame of picture may be selected from each video segment as a thumbnail corresponding to the video segment, and when the searched video segments are displayed on the display page, the thumbnail corresponding to each video segment and linked to the video segment is used to replace the video segment for displaying. When one frame of picture in each video clip is selected as the thumbnail corresponding to the video clip, any one frame in the video clip can be selected, and preferably, the first frame of picture in the video clip is selected as the thumbnail corresponding to the video clip. Of course, it should be noted that in other embodiments of the present invention, the searched video segments may also be directly presented in the form of video files.
When the step 504 is specifically implemented, the searched video segments are displayed to the user, including: and aiming at each video clip, acquiring the playing time length of the video clip, determining the display area corresponding to the playing time length of the video clip according to the corresponding relation between the preset playing time length and the display area, and displaying the video clip according to the determined display area.
When displaying searched video segments to a user, in order to display more video segments in a limited screen space and enable the user to intuitively know the relationship between the durations of the plurality of video segments, the embodiment of the invention displays the video segments with different durations by adopting different display areas, specifically, pre-configuring the corresponding relationship between the playing duration of the video segments and the display areas of the video segments, acquiring the duration of each video segment after searching the video segments containing the target object, determining the display area corresponding to the playing duration of each video segment according to the pre-configured corresponding relationship between the playing duration and the display areas, and displaying each video segment according to the determined display area, so that the user can judge the relationship between the durations of the plurality of video segments in the display page of the video segments, in order to select a video clip that is preferred for viewing.
Of course, in other embodiments of the present invention, in order to make the user more intuitively know the duration of the video segments, the duration of each video segment may also be displayed in the display area of each video segment.
In the corresponding relationship between the preset playing time of the video clip and the display area of the video clip, the playing time of the video clip and the display area of the video clip can be in a direct proportion relationship, namely, the longer the playing time of the video clip is, the larger the display area of the video clip is; the relationship may also be an inverse relationship, that is, the longer the playing time of the video segment is, the smaller the display area of the video segment is, of course, other relationships may also be used, and the relationship is not limited specifically here. Preferably, the playing duration of the video segment is proportional to the size of the display area of the video segment. The size of the display area of the video clip may be preconfigured, for example: 1/2 screen area, 1/4 screen area and 1/6 screen area, although the display area of the video clip may be other in other embodiments of the present invention and is not limited to this.
It is to be noted that, because the durations of the video segments obtained by each search may not be the same, in the correspondence between the playing durations of the video segments and the display areas of the video segments configured in advance in other embodiments of the present invention, the duration of a video segment may also refer to an order of the duration of each video segment in the durations of all the video segments, specifically, refer to a position occupied by each video segment in a sorting result after sorting the durations of all the video segments obtained by the search.
In other embodiments of the present invention, the display area of the video segment is determined according to the number of the video segments obtained by each search and the duration of the video segment, and the video segment is displayed in the determined display area.
In this case, if only one video clip is searched, the searched video clip is directly displayed in full screen, if the number of the searched video clips is two, the searched video clips are respectively displayed in 1/2 screen areas, if the number of the searched video clips is three, the video clip with the longest playing time length can be displayed in 1/2 screen areas, and the remaining two video clips can be respectively displayed in 1/4 screen areas. More generally, if the number of searched video clips is n, the searched n video clips may be respectively presented by 1/n screen area or 1/(n + i), where n and i are both natural numbers.
Of course, it should be noted that, if there are many searched video clips, when the video clips are displayed on one screen, the display area of each video clip is small, which is not favorable for the user to select and view, for example: for this situation, in other embodiments of the present invention, the searched video segments may be displayed in multiple screens, and still the number of the searched video segments is 12, in this case, the searched video segments may be displayed in two screens, each screen displays 6 video segments, each video segment displays 1/6 screen area, or the searched video segments may be displayed in three screens, each screen displays 4 video segments, and each video segment displays 1/4 screen area.
It should be noted that, in the step 504, the thumbnail corresponding to each video segment is used to replace the video segment for displaying, and the display area corresponding to each determined video segment is used to display each video segment, which may be used in combination.
After the searched video segments are displayed to the user, the embodiment of the invention can also respond to the click operation of the user on any video segment in the displayed video segments to play the video segments.
It should be noted that, if there are many displayed video clips and multiple displayed video clips are displayed on multiple screens, when a user selects a video clip to be played, the video clips displayed on different screens can be selected in a sliding manner to be played. Of course, if a frame of picture in a video clip is used as a thumbnail to be displayed when the video clip is displayed, after a click operation of a user on any one of the displayed video clips is received, the video clip linked with the thumbnail needs to be acquired from a local or server to be played.
Specifically, when step 502 is implemented, determining the target object selected by the user may be implemented as follows:
displaying a button for triggering the selection of a target object in a target video to a user in a video client interface, responding to the click operation of the user on the button for triggering the selection of the target object in the target video, requesting the user to input an identifier of the target object if the target video is not played currently, and determining the target object selected by the user according to the identifier of the target object input by the user; and if the target video is currently played, pausing the playing of the target video, determining a target area selected by the user in a picture displayed at the moment when the playing of the target video is paused, and determining an object included in the target area as the target object selected by the user.
Specifically, in a video client interface, a button used for triggering selection of a target object in a target video is displayed for a user, when a click operation of the user on the button used for triggering selection of the target object in the target video is received, if the target video is not played currently, so that the user cannot directly select the target object in a target video file, the user is requested to input an identifier of the target object, the target object selected by the user is determined according to the identifier of the target object input by the user, and the identity and the role of the target object are further determined. The identifier of the target object is used to uniquely identify each target object, and preferably, may be a name of the target object. Of course, to improve the convenience of input, the identification of multiple objects may also be provided for selection by the user.
When receiving a click operation of a user on a button for triggering selection of a target object in a target video, if the target video is currently played, the target video can be directly selected in the target video because the target video is currently played.
In specific implementation, determining a target area selected by a user in a picture displayed at the pause playing time of a target video includes: and forming a closed area in response to touch operation in a picture displayed at the pause playing moment of the target video by the user, and determining the closed area as the target area selected by the user. The touch operation of the user in the picture displayed at the pause playing moment of the target video forms a closed area, that is, the touch operation of the user forms a closed graph, for example: the closed figures are circular, oval, rectangular and the like. In determining whether the area formed by the user touch operation is a closed area, a method in the prior art may be adopted, for example: the gesture recognition technology is not described herein.
It should be noted that, when the user selects the target object in the closed region formed by the touch operation as the target region in the picture displayed at the time when the target video is paused, the closed region at least includes the face of the target object, so as to identify the target object selected by the user. Of course, in other embodiments of the present invention, if there are other portions of the target object that can be used for identifying the target object, at least the portion for identifying the target object may be included in the closed region.
When a user selects a target object in a closed area formed by touch operation in a picture displayed at the pause playing time of a target video, and the user selects the target area, the embodiment of the invention obtains an image in the target area, preferably, a binary image in the target area, and then identifies the identity of an object contained in the image or identifies the role of the object contained in the image in the target video by an image identification technology.
In specific implementation, after the image in the target area is acquired, the image is matched with the image in the character screenplay library of the target video (or the image in the network gallery), so as to determine the identity or the role of the object contained in the image. The image is matched with the image in the character screenplay library to determine the identity or the role of the object contained in the image, and a method in the prior art can be adopted, which is not described herein again.
