All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating an implementation flow of a method for recording a reading progress according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The method mainly comprises the following steps:
s101, when the electronic book is opened by a client side, acquiring account information of the client side, and judging whether a reading progress mark of the electronic book corresponding to the account information exists or not;
the client in the embodiment of the invention can be an independent client program specially used for reading the electronic book, and can also be an electronic book client control which is built in other client programs, wherein the other client programs can be browsers, microblogs, WeChats and the like. The electronic book refers to electronic reading materials such as electronic novels, electronic magazines, electronic textbooks and the like which are carried in the form of web pages and documents.
Specifically, the user may read and browse the electronic book through a client installed in the mobile terminal online or offline, or through a client control in the browser.
The method comprises the steps that a user opens an electronic book through a client to read, when the fact that the client opens the electronic book is detected, account information of the client is obtained, the account information refers to account names of the user logging in the client to read the electronic book and other basic information of the account, whether a reading progress mark of the electronic book corresponding to the account information exists or not is judged, and whether a record of the current reading progress of the account used by the user for the current electronic book exists or not is checked.
S102, if the reading progress mark exists, updating the reading progress marked by the reading progress mark to be the current reading progress;
and if the account information already has the reading progress mark of the electronic book, updating the reading progress corresponding to the mark to be the current reading progress. Typically, the indicia is in the form of an electronic bookmark.
S103, if the current reading progress does not exist, generating a reading progress mark according to the current reading progress.
And if the account information does not have the reading progress mark, generating the reading progress mark according to the current reading progress, namely adding a new reading progress mark in the system for marking the current reading progress.
According to the method for recording the reading progress, provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the electronic book is detected to be opened by the client, the account information of the client is obtained, whether the reading progress mark of the electronic book corresponding to the account information exists or not is judged, if the reading progress mark exists, the reading progress corresponding to the reading progress mark is automatically updated to be the current reading progress, and if the reading progress mark does not exist, the reading progress mark is automatically generated to mark the current reading progress, so that the current reading progress is immediately and automatically marked and updated, and the convenience in operation is improved.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart illustrating an implementation of a method for recording a reading progress according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The method mainly comprises the following steps:
s201, when the electronic book is opened by a client side, judging whether a data source of the electronic book is a preset website or not;
the client in the embodiment of the invention can be an independent client program specially used for reading the electronic book, and can also be an electronic book client control which is built in other client programs, wherein the other client programs can be browsers, microblogs, WeChats and the like. The electronic book refers to electronic reading materials such as electronic novels, electronic magazines, electronic textbooks and the like which are carried in the form of web pages and documents.
The user can set a website for automatically marking and/or updating the reading progress, and particularly, the website provides a setting item interactive interface through which the user's setting is received and saved. When the electronic book is detected to be opened by the client, whether the data source of the electronic book is a website preset by a user is judged.
S202, if the data source of the electronic book is the preset website, acquiring account information of the client, and judging whether a reading progress mark of the electronic book corresponding to the account information exists;
and if the data source of the electronic book is the preset website, checking whether the account currently used by the user has a mark of the reading progress of the current electronic book.
By enabling the user to preset the website for automatically marking the reading progress, when the preset website is judged to be read by the user currently, the step of automatically marking the reading progress is executed, so that the convenience and the flexibility of user operation can be improved.
S203, if the reading progress marked by the reading progress mark exists, updating the reading progress marked by the reading progress mark to be the current reading progress;
and if the account information already has the reading progress mark of the electronic book, updating the reading progress corresponding to the mark to be the current reading progress.
And S204, if the current reading progress does not exist, generating a reading progress mark according to the current reading progress.
And if the account information does not have the reading progress mark, generating the reading progress mark according to the current reading progress, namely adding a new reading progress mark in the system for marking the current reading progress.
Further, when it is detected that the electronic book is turned forward or backward, it is determined whether the current electronic book is replaced with another electronic book, if not, the marking process with different reading schedules is performed according to different conditions of turning pages, and if the current electronic book is replaced with another electronic book, step S201 is executed.
Specifically, when the current electronic book is not replaced, when it is detected that the electronic book is turned forward to an unread page, the reading progress marked by the reading progress mark is updated to the corresponding reading progress after the page is turned. Thereby automatically updating the record of reading progress. When the electronic book is detected to be turned backwards to a read page, a temporary storage mark is added, and the temporary storage mark is used for marking the reading progress mark as a corresponding reading progress after the page is turned. Because the user may only turn back to the previous chapter for reviewing instead of really modifying the reading progress due to the backward turning, a temporary storage mark is added while the current reading progress mark is not changed, the corresponding reading progress after the page turning is recorded through the temporary storage mark, and the reading progress marked by the temporary storage mark is changed along with the page turning, and the reading progress after the page turning is recorded all the time.
Further, when it is detected that the electronic book is turned backwards to a read page, after the temporary storage mark is added, whether the display time length of the read page is less than the historical average display time length is judged, and the difference between the display time length of the read page and the historical average display time length is less than or equal to a preset value is judged, that is, the user is determined whether to read the electronic book or only turn back to review by judging the time length of the user reading the read page. If the display duration of the read page is less than the historical average display duration and the difference value between the historical average display duration and the historical average display duration is less than or equal to a preset value, the temporary storage mark is cleared when the electronic book is closed by the client. If the display duration of the read page is less than the historical average display duration, but the difference between the read page and the historical average display duration is greater than the preset value, or if the display duration of the read page is greater than or equal to the historical average display duration, when the client closes the electronic book, the reading progress marked by the temporary storage mark is updated to the current reading progress, that is, the current reading progress is the reading progress marked by the temporary storage mark. According to the opening time of the electronic book, the behavior purpose of the user for turning over the electronic book is judged, different marking processing is carried out according to different purposes, and the flexibility and the accuracy of the marking label are improved.
The historical average display duration refers to an average of duration displayed on each page of the electronic book when the account reads the electronic book in the historical record. The preset value is set to a value that is relatively close to the historical average display duration. For example, if the historical average display time period is 3 minutes, the preset value is set to 2 minutes, and if the display time period when the electronic book is turned back to the read page is 20 seconds, the difference between the historical average display time period and the historical average display time period is 2 minutes and 40 seconds, which is greater than 2 minutes of the preset value, so that it can be determined that the page turning back of the electronic book is just the review made by the user.
It should be noted that, the determination of whether the e-book turns forward to an unread page or turns backward to a read page may be performed by detecting whether the user has a page turning operation on the e-book, for example, whether the user has an operation of clicking a previous page or a next page of a current page, or whether the user has an operation of clicking a directory to turn forward or backward. The content displayed by the electronic book can be acquired, and whether the displayed content is changed or not is detected, so that the electronic book is judged to be turned to an unread page or turned to a read page backwards. Further, if the displayed content has changed, it may be determined whether the user has changed the read electronic book, and after confirming that the user has not changed the electronic book, the page turning status of the electronic book may be confirmed. The two methods for detecting whether the electronic book is turned over are directly compared through contents or through the operation of a detection user, and the accuracy of the result of whether the electronic book is turned over is high.

Due to the fact that the page is turned backwards, the user may only turn back to the previous chapter for reviewing, but not need to modify the reading progress really, and therefore, a temporary storage mark is added while the current reading progress mark is not changed, and the corresponding reading progress after the page is turned is recorded through the temporary storage mark.
Further, the determining module 302 is further configured to determine whether the display duration of the read page is less than the historical average display duration, and a difference between the display duration of the read page and the historical average display duration is less than or equal to a preset value.
When it is detected that the electronic book is turned backwards to a read page, after adding the temporary storage flag, the determining module 302 determines whether the display duration of the read page is less than the historical average display duration, and a difference between the display duration of the read page and the historical average display duration is less than or equal to a preset value, that is, by determining the time duration for which the user reads the read page, it is determined whether the user reads the electronic book or only turns back to review.
The apparatus may further comprise:
a clearing module 401, configured to clear the cache flag when the client closes the electronic book if the client closes the electronic book.
If the display duration of the read page is less than the historical average display duration and the difference between the historical average display duration and the historical average display duration is less than or equal to a preset value, the clearing module 401 clears the temporary storage flag when the client turns off the electronic book.
The marking module 303 is further configured to update the reading progress marked by the temporary storage mark to the current reading progress when the client closes the electronic book if the client does not close the electronic book.
If the display duration of the read page is less than the historical average display duration, but the difference between the read page and the historical average display duration is greater than the preset value, or if the display duration of the read page is greater than or equal to the historical average display duration, the marking module 303 updates the reading progress marked by the temporary storage marker to the current reading progress when the client closes the electronic book.
According to the opening time of the electronic book, the behavior purpose of the user for turning over the electronic book is judged, different marking processing is carried out according to different purposes, and the flexibility and the accuracy of the marking label are improved.
The determining module 302 is further configured to determine whether a data source of the electronic book is a preset website when it is detected that the electronic book is opened by the client.
The obtaining module 301 is further configured to obtain account information of the client if the data source of the electronic book is the preset website. Further, the determining module 302 determines whether a reading progress flag of the electronic book corresponding to the account information exists, if so, the marking module 303 updates the reading progress marked by the reading progress flag to the current reading progress, and if not, the marking module 303 generates the reading progress flag according to the current reading progress.
By enabling the user to preset the website for automatically marking the reading progress, when the preset website is judged to be read by the user currently, the step of automatically marking the reading progress is executed, so that the convenience and the flexibility of user operation can be improved.
For details of embodiments of the present invention, reference is made to the description of the embodiments of fig. 1 to 3.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the electronic book is opened by a client, the account information of the client is obtained, whether the reading progress mark of the electronic book corresponding to the account information exists is judged, if the reading progress mark exists, the reading progress corresponding to the reading progress mark is automatically updated to be the current reading progress, and if the reading progress mark does not exist, the reading progress mark is automatically generated to mark the current reading progress, the current reading progress is immediately and automatically marked and updated, and the operation convenience is improved.
